THERE’S ALWAYS HOPE

When I first started this my personal blog in December 2011.  At that point     I had been researching cancer since March of 2006 without much  fan  fare or accolades.  Thereby, Only  providing the laughter  from my  family and  friends  …which is good because laughter is great medicine.

Thereby when I met Angel Howerton late January of 2014 while being in the same group in time. WE quickly became Facebook friends  and I learned that Angel indeed healed her own  Stage 4 MMMT Uterine CarcinoSarcoma after being delivered a three WEEKS death sentence JUNE 19th 2011. This became words of encouragement to carry on… GOD put us together in time to provide inspiration for one another.

Turning down Chemo and Radiation…opting instead for a  toxin free approach and         of Healing Mind Body and Spirit. With sticktoitness  Angel  stuck  with  what  her  mother  knew  whom  was  full ~ bloodied Chimariko Indian many years prior and which she taught her daughter Velvette Williams.

Since becoming acquainted with Angel ….we have had our differences. But I have always respected her passion and purpose to get  her story out to others while trying to help them overcome their health issues through her own X-factor experiences while living a Holistic Lifestyle.
A few nights ago I had the pleasure of listening to Angel again on the many online radio station interviews she does.  In these interviews I sense the abundance of energy she does have for her pursuit of Camp Hope in Northern Arkansas. Where she will also extend her experiences of teaching others the Holistic Healing practices she has acquired through the years.
In this Interview from the Online Radio Show The Best Years in Life: Tony Issac and Luella May showcase  Angel and her daughter Velvette chatting…. about the emotional aspects of cancer in ones family. Which I have known myself from losing my father to a terminal diagnoses February 24 2005 …until he passed away from Leiomyosarcoma …    on April 3rd 2006.
Velvette brought back flashbacks for me when she talked about that lonely — helpless feeling one has when you see them struggling at life. Through reaching out to her mother, taking timely deep breaths and having her own quiet time through the grace of GOD their family did get through it.
Velvette also talked about from looking back, living the experience again putting herself in those shoes again.  She is also very thankful… that her mom  had a Holistic background  and realized that chemotherapy  and radiation only extends life.  That it doesn’t promise you a quality life in after thought.  She also thought that Angel’s belief provided  a second chance at life. And that through power of prayer and doing a lot of research themselves… helped her chances.
Also one has to stay committed to what beliefs come from the heart. It was my mothers belief through her Native American upbringing that produce a positive result from being confined to a wheel chair years earlier.  I realize today myself from talking to Angel  that she still has occasional days.  However she always stays positive  and never allows herself to get down as she realizes her  Camp for Kids and Camp HOPE  a wonderful  destination  in the Ozark Mountains of Northern Arkansas  🙂
