Living With the Stars

How 40,000 Tons of Cosmic Dust Falling to Earth
Affects You and Me!!!

Our bodies are made of remnants of stars and massive explosions in the galaxies, authors say.  By Simon Worrall

 (1) Living with the Stars    Atoms in our body are made in STARS! ️⭐️ We are Stardust!

Astrophysics and medical pathology don’t, at first sight, appear to have much in common.    What do sunspots have to do with liver spots?

How does the big bang connect with cystic fibrosis?   Our bodies are made of remnants of stars!!!

Astrophysicist Karel Schrijver, a senior fellow at the Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory, and his wife, Iris Schrijver, professor of pathology at Stanford University, have joined the dots in a new book, Living With the Stars: How the Human Body Is Connected to the Life Cycles of the Earth, the Planets, and the Stars.

Our Earth Is A Remnant Core Of A Dead Star – Scientist G.Ponmudi – YouTube

Talking from their home in Palo Alto, California, they explain how everything in us originated in cosmic explosions billions of years ago, how our bodies are in a constant state of decay and regeneration, and why singer Joni Mitchell was right. Joni Mitchell (Crosby, Stills, Nash) – Get Together (Live 1969)

“We are stardust,” Joni Mitchell famously sang in Woodstock (1969 Live)

It turns out she was right, wasn’t she?

Iris: Was she ever! Everything we are and everything in the universe and on Earth originated from stardust, and it continually floats through us even today. It directly connects us to the universe, rebuilding our bodies over and again over our lifetimes.

That was one of the biggest surprises for us in this book. We really didn’t realize how impermanent we are, and that our bodies are made of remnants of stars and massive explosions in the galaxies. All the material in our bodies originates with that residual stardust, and it finds its way into plants, and from there into the nutrients that we need for everything we do—think, move, grow. And every few years the bulk of our bodies are newly created.

Can you give me some examples of how stardust formed us?

Karel: When the universe started, there was just hydrogen and a little helium and very little of anything else. Helium is not in our bodies. Hydrogen is, but that’s not the bulk of our weight. Stars are like nuclear reactors. They take fuel and convert it to something else. Hydrogen is formed into helium, and helium is built into carbon, nitrogen and oxygen, iron and sulfur—everything we’re made of. When stars get to the end of their lives, they swell up and fall together again, throwing off their outer layers. If a star is heavy enough, it will explode in a supernova.

So most of the material that we’re made of comes out of dying stars, or stars that died in explosions. And those stellar explosions continue. We have stuff in us as old as the universe, and then some stuff that landed here maybe only a hundred years ago. And all of that mixes in our bodies.

Iris: I’m a physician specializing in genetics and pathology. Pathologists are the medical specialists who diagnose diseases and their causes. We also study the responses of the body to such diseases and to the treatment given. I do this at the level of the DNA, so at Stanford University I direct the diagnostic molecular pathology laboratory. I also provide patient care by diagnosing inherited diseases and also cancers, and by following therapy responses in those cancer patients based on changes that we can detect in their DNA.

Our book is based on many conversations that Karel and I had, in which we talked to each other about topics from our daily professional lives. Those areas are quite different. I look at the code of life. He’s an astrophysicist who explores the secrets of the stars. But the more we followed up on our questions to each other, the more we discovered our fields have a lot more connections than we thought possible.

Karel: I’m an astrophysicist. Astrophysicists specialize in all sorts of things, from dark matter to galaxies. I picked stars because they fascinated me. But no matter how many stars you look at, you can never see any detail. They’re all tiny points in the sky.

So I turned my attention to the sun, which is the only star where we can see what happens all over the universe. At some point NASA asked me to lead a summer school for beginning researchers to try to create materials to understand the things that go all the way from the sun to the Earth. I learned so many things about these connections I started to tell Iris. At some point I thought: This could be an interesting story, and it dawned on us that together we go all the way, as she said, from the smallest to the largest. And we have great fun doing this together.

We tend to think of our bodies changing only slowly once we reach adulthood. So I was fascinated to discover that, in fact, we’re changing all the time and constantly rebuilding ourselves. Talk about our skin.

Iris: Most people don’t even think of the skin as an organ. In fact, it’s our largest one. To keep alive, our cells have to divide and grow. We’re aware of that because we see children grow. But cells also age and eventually die, and the skin is a great example of this.

It’s something that touches everything around us. It’s also very exposed to damage and needs to constantly regenerate. It weighs around eight pounds [four kilograms] and is composed of several layers. These layers age quickly, especially the outer layer, the dermis. The cells there are replaced roughly every month or two. That means we lose approximately 30,000 cells every minute throughout our lives, and our entire external surface layer is replaced about once a year.

Very little of our physical bodies lasts for more than a few years.

Of course, that’s at odds with how we perceive ourselves when we look into the mirror. But we’re not fixed at all. We’re more like a pattern or a process. And it was the transience of the body and the flow of energy and matter needed to counter that impermanence that led us to explore our interconnectedness with the universe.

You have a fascinating discussion about age. Describe how different parts of the human body age at different speeds.

Iris: Every tissue recreates itself, but they all do it at a different rate. We know through carbon dating that cells in the adult human body have an average age of seven to ten years. That’s far less than the age of the average human, but there are remarkable differences in these ages. Some cells literally exist for a few days. Those are the ones that touch the surface. The skin is a great example, but also the surfaces of our lungs and the digestive tract. The muscle cells of the heart, an organ we consider to be very permanent, typically continue to function for more than a decade. But if you look at a person who’s 50, about half of their heart cells will have been replaced.

Our bodies are never static. We’re dynamic beings, and we have to be dynamic to remain alive. This is not just true for us humans. It’s true for all living things.

A figure that jumped out at me is that 40,000 tons of cosmic dust fall on Earth every year. Where does it all come from? How does it affect us?

Karel: When the solar system formed, it started to freeze gas into ice and dust particles. They would grow and grow by colliding. Eventually gravity pulled them together to form planets. The planets are like big vacuum cleaners, sucking in everything around them. But they didn’t complete the job. There’s still an awful lot of dust floating around.

When we say that as an astronomer, we can mean anything from objects weighing micrograms, which you wouldn’t even see unless you had a microscope, to things that weigh many tons, like comets. All that stuff is still there, being pulled around by the gravity of the planets and the sun. The Earth can’t avoid running into this debris, so that dust falls onto the Earth all the time and has from the very beginning. It’s why the planet was made in the first place. Nowadays, you don’t even notice it. But eventually all that stuff, which contains oxygen and carbon, iron, nickel, and all the other elements, finds its way into our bodies.

When a really big piece of dust, like a giant comet or asteroid, falls onto the Earth, you get a massive explosion, which is one of the reasons we believe the dinosaurs became extinct some 70 million years ago. That fortunately doesn’t happen very often. But things fall out of the sky all the time. [Laughs]

Many everyday commodities we use also began their existence in outer space. Tell us about salt.

Karel: Whatever you mention, its history began in outer space. Take salt. What we usually mean by salt is kitchen salt. It has two chemicals, sodium and chloride. Where did they come from? They were formed inside stars that exploded billions of years ago and at some point found their way onto the Earth. Stellar explosions are still going on today in the galaxy, so some of the chlorine we’re eating in salt was made only recently.

You study pathology, Iris. Is physical malfunction part of the cosmic order?

Iris: Absolutely. There are healthy processes, such as growth, for which we need cell division. Then there are processes when things go wrong. We age because we lose the balance between regeneration and cell loss.

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited genetic disease. You inherit an error in the DNA. Because of that, certain tissues do not have the capability to provide their normal function to the body. My work is focused on finding changes in DNA in different populations so we can understand better what kinds of mutations are the basis of that disease. Based on that, we can provide a prognosis. There are now drugs that target specific mutations, as well as transplants, so these patients can have a much better life span than was possible 10 or 20 years ago.

How has writing this book changed your view of life—and your view of each other?

Karel: There are two things that struck me, one that I had no idea about. The first is what Iris described earlier—the impermanence of our bodies. As a physicist, I thought the body was built early on, that it would grow and be stable. Iris showed me, over a long series of dinner discussions, that that’s not the way it works. Cells die and rebuild all the time. We’re literally not what were a few years ago, and not just because of the way we think. Everything around us does this. Nature is not outside us. We are nature.

As far as our relationship is concerned, I always had a great deal of respect for Iris, and physicians in general. They have to know things that I couldn’t possibly remember. And that’s only grown with time.

Iris: Physics was not my favorite topic in high school. [Laughs] Through Karel and our conversations, I feel that the universe and the world around us has become much more accessible. That was our goal with the book as well. We wanted it to be accessible and understandable for anyone with a high school education. It was a challenge to write it that way, to explain things to each other in lay terms. But it has certainly changed my view of life. It’s increased my sense of wonder and appreciation of life.

In terms of Karel’s profession and our relationship, it has inevitably deepened. We understand much better what the other person is doing in the sandboxes we respectively play in. [Laughs]    source  | IT (internationaltimes.it)   hUMAN bODY iNGREDIENTS  (12) Pinterest

When matter is dragged into a black hole, where does it go or what happens to it?

Asked by: Daniel Febrer, age 12

If light gets suck into a black hole where does it go?

Answer

Right back in the time of Isaac Newton (1687) it was determined that the force of gravity was due to the presence of matter, specifically its mass. In fact the existence of black holes was postulated not long after Newton’s publication of his ‘Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica’ (Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy). It wasn’t until 1915, when Albert Einstein published his theory of General Relativity E=mc² that the theory of black holes really took off.

The first real study into the phenomenon was undertaken by Karl Schwarzchild in 1916 who derived an equation for the Schwarzschild Radius of a black hole (Rs = GM / c^2, where Rs is the Schwarzchild radius, G is Newton’s gravitational constant, M is the mass of the blackhole and c the speed of light).E = mc2, equation in German-born physicist  Albert Einstein ’s theory of special relativity that expresses the fact that mass and energy are the same physical entity and can be changed into each other.  e = mc²

Mass–energy Equivalence

Mass–energy Equivalence

In physics, mass–energy equivalence is the relationship between mass and energy in a system’s rest frame, where the two values differ only by a constant and the units of measurement. The formula defines the energy E of a particle in its rest frame as the product of mass (m) with the speed of light squared (c²).

Because the speed of light is a large number in everyday units (approximately 3×10⁸ meters per second), the formula implies that a small amount of rest mass corresponds to an enormous amount of energy, which is independent of the composition of the matter.

Rest mass, also called invariant mass, is the mass that is measured when the system is at rest. It is a fundamental physical property that is independent of momentum, even at extreme speeds approaching the speed of light (i.e., its value is the same in all inertial frames of reference). Massless particles such as photons have zero invariant mass, but massless free particles have both momentum and energy.

The equivalence principle implies that when energy is lost in chemical reactions, nuclear reactions & other energy transformations, the system will also lose a corresponding amount of mass. The energy, and mass, can be released to the environment as radiant energy, such as light, or as thermal energy. The principle is fundamental to many fields of physics, including nuclear and particle physics.

To form a black hole matter collapses under its own gravitational field, such as in the death of a large star. If the matter in question is massive enough then its gravitational attraction will be so great that it will overcome all of the other forces trying to resist the collapse and the matter will continue to shrink until it becomes no more than a point, known as a singularity.

This point will have an infinite density and will be infinitely small. The effect on space time will be such that it is distorted to the point where light can no longer escape from the black hole, hence the name black. At singularities the known laws of physics break down which is why so much time and effort is spent examining these strange features of our universe.

The Schwarzchild radius describes a property of black holes known as the event horizon. This is the point between space where light can escape from the black hole’s gravitational field and the space where it cannot. Although the singularity inside the black hole is infinitely small the black hole would appear to be the size of its event horizon, and to all effects is.

When matter falls into the event horizon it becomes isolated from the rest of space and time and has, effectively, disappeared from the universe that we exist in. Once inside the black hole the matter will be torn apart into its smallest subatomic components which will be stretched and squeezed until they become part of the singularity and increase the radius of the black hole accordingly.

Interestingly enough it has now been shown, by one Stephen Hawking, that the matter inside a black hole is not completely isolated from the rest of the  universe and that given a sufficient length of time black holes will gradually dissolve by radiating away the energy of the matter that they contain.    Answered by: Edward Rayne, Physics Undergraduate Student, Cambridge UK

Elon Musk’s plan of going to Mars – is just one of his Marijuana Pipe Dreams. https://t.co/WX4VuVJXZk” / Twitter He knows or should know that effects of long term effects in space on the human body for a trip to Mars would last for between 210 and 300 days (7-10 months) depending on how close Earth is to Mars. That would be the least of the problems with getting to Mars.

Getting back to earth in the physical state their bodies would be in, they’d never make it. All that is still a fantasy unless he can shield them from the radiation in space which would require heavy shielding on the ship adding to the problem of fuel. This is not a space probe it is a ship built to transport and house people and equipment. It would be Big. Could he build it? Possibly.

But I seriously doubt the 34 million mile journey will ever happen.

Can The Body Heal Itself?
(Yes it Can & Here’s How to Help!)

A body posing in a Black RoomDid you know your physical body can heal itself on its own? Your own body’s ability to heal itself will certainly surprise you! Everyone that has ever learned about the Placebo effect, knows that the human body has the incredible capacity to heal itself. Under most circumstances, self-healing occurs daily when it comes to fighting off illnesses and infections.
However, this isn’t always the case. Sometimes we lack certain elements from our diet or our environment that could be a much greater influence on our body’s ability to heal itself. There are several things we can do to help our body’s healing process.

How does the body heal itself from injury & illness?

A hand lights a Stick of Sage on FireThe cells found in our physical bodies can heal themselves when they start getting damaged or unhealthy. They replicate to become new cells once they replace the damaged or destroyed cells. Using broken bones as an example, your body will immediately begin to produce new cells to heal all the damage that’s been done.
When your skin is cut, platelets in your blood clot to stop all the bleeding by forming a scab over the wound. White blood cells remove all the dead and injured cells while the healthy new cells repair the damaged tissue around the wound. This is one of the most important functions in our body! Could you imagine what life would be like if the daily cuts and bruises we experience never healed? Our bodies are always in a constant state of removing damaged cells and producing new, healthy tissue.

How does the human body healing process work?

A hand Gently Touches WaterAs your body engages in wound healing, a wonderful process occurs throughout each of the systems that comprise your body. According to a study published in the World Journal of Surgery, there are six wound healing stages, each of which relies on one another to completely close a wound. Knowing what each step involves is crucial in developing a comprehensive healing plan.

1. Rapid Hemostasis
This refers to the body process that stops a wound from bleeding. Most of the time, your body will accomplish this through a process called vasoconstriction, in which your blood vessels are closed tight. It’s similar to how you might turn a level to stop a leaky faucet.

2. Inflammation
Inflammation is your body’s way of alerting you of an injury. Beyond that, it helps dictate where the next barrage of healthy cells should be headed. As such, inflammation is vital in the wound care process, but if it goes on for too long, it can prevent regeneration.

3. Proliferation and migration
When inflammation occurs, the body releases several kinds of cells, including those that
are responsible for migration and proliferation. The former function refers to the movement of the cells, a carefully coordinated process that involves cells moving in a specific order. Meanwhile, proliferation is similar to hemostasis, as cells work to further constrict your blood vessels. When Butyric acid (BA) levels are low risk of cancer is high!!!

4. Angiogenesis
Once the bleeding is under control, the body then begins the process of rebuilding tissue. Angiogenesis, as it’s called, involves the formation of new blood vessels. This process occurs when your body’s cells begin to replace the veins and arteries that were damaged, either creating new sections or adding onto existing portions. It’s a decidedly complex endeavor, with many chemicals activating to facilitate these all-new veins.

5. Re-epithelialization
Once your body has begun to regrow veins, it’s time to begin regrooving damaged skin. Your epidermis is comprised of cells called keratinocytes, and during the epithelialization process, your body has to begin forging these chemical components. The process involves the creation of several layers, each working in tandem to offer protection and prevent fluid loss.

6. Collagen Synthesis
Though it’s seen as the last step, synthesis often happens almost simultaneously. In this process, certain proteins form blood clots, which helps further prevent bleeding as new skin and veins are formed. There are several proteins at play, and certain people lack those necessary proteins to form blood clots.

What Hinders the Immune System &
Our Body’s Natural Self-Healing Abilities?

Kid Laying on a Heart PaperMany factors can inhibit a body’s natural self-healing functions. Some of these factors are obvious ones, such as an unhealthy environment and diet, while there are several other factors that we are still learning about. We all know our bodies need adequate exercise, high-quality sleep, healthy food, clean water, and a bit of good old-fashioned sunlight.
Drastically limiting any one of those things can greatly influence your health. Various types of emotional stress, poor diet, as well as environmental contaminants and toxins, all can greatly damage our body’s natural healing processes. Even your general mindset can greatly impact your health!

How the Human Body Gets Damaged Over Time
Poor Diet: Thanks to many decades of research, we now know that our diet is one of the key influencers of our health. A poor diet that lacks nutrition can wreak havoc on the body. This is why a nutrient-rich diet is needed for everyone’s optimum development. Not only that, unless you eat exclusively organic, it’s also a major source of environmental toxins. These toxins build up in your body and put an enormous amount of strain on your entire system. They can also cause inflammation and contribute to digestive disorders.

Lack of Exercise: An exercise routine is essential for everyone’s health and well-being. A sedentary lifestyle is one of the fastest ways the body falls apart. It doesn’t have to be strenuous, aerobic exercise. Even something as simple as going for a walk can have incredible healing power. That’s because it stimulates your blood flow, thus meaning it combats heart disease and improves heart rate. It brings oxygen and nutrients to your cells while carrying toxins away. It helps you burn calories, sleep better, and improves your overall mindset while reducing any emotional stress you may be feeling.
(150 minutes of brisk exercise per week is proven to live longer.)

Free radicals: are another important factor in poor health. They play an important role in eliminating waste from damage inside the cell. However, inflammation, stress, and infection increase free radical production. When your body produces too many free radicals, it results in oxidative stress which causes disease and damages cells and DNA.

Stem Cells: After a while, when our stem cells get worn out, our body becomes less able to heal itself and regenerate. With time, their ability to replicate and regenerate new tissue becomes more and more difficult. Scientists are still researching why stem cell numbers and efficiency decreases with age. Many believe stem cells are the key to longevity and longer life spans.

How to Heal Your Body Naturally
Yes, you really can heal your body’s ability to naturally heal itself! Making sure you’re getting the correct amount of high-quality sleep is crucial. An enormous portion of the repair and regeneration work your body does is done while you are fast asleep. Not getting adequate sleep not only decreases the amount of time that your body is most effective at healing but it also greatly weakens your immune system.
A weakened immune system makes the human body much more susceptible to illness, which requires your body to direct its healing processes toward beating the illness, rather than repairing damage from your natural daily activities.

How the Body Can Heal Itself Faster:
Regenerative Medicine:
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) states that “Regenerative medicine is the process of creating living, functional tissues to repair or replace tissue or organ function lost due to age, disease, damage, or congenital defects.” The greatest benefit of this treatment is that you’re treating illness and injury in such a way that the body is being restored.
Regenerative Medicine is still very young, with thousands of areas of research being studied. A variety of regenerative treatment methods have already been proven to be effective for many conditions.

Homeopathic Medicine: Homeopathy is our oldest form of natural medicine. It’s currently used by over 200 million people worldwide to treat both chronic and acute health conditions. Homeopathic medicines – commonly known as remedies – are made from various natural substances such as plants and minerals. Prepared in licensed laboratories, under strict control, they are usually taken as a tablet but are also available as liquids, powder or creams. These remedies are specifically designed to help stimulate the body’s natural healing ability.
Homeopaths do work a lot like conventional doctors. As well as asking about your symptoms, a homeopath will also be interested in you as an individual and the unique way in which you live. A homeopath will discuss your lifestyle, medical history, and state of mind before prescribing the appropriate homeopathic medicine.

Introspective Hypnosis: Some people have found introspective hypnosis to be extremely efficient in combating chronic pain and long term illnesses.

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique℠ (QHHT®) is a hypnosis technique pioneered by the late hypnotist, Dolores Cannon. Dolores’ method of hypnosis, involves inducing an individual deep into the Somnambulistic state of trance through visualization. A state which under ordinary circumstances is experienced only twice daily: the moment just before you become consciously awake and the moment just before you fall asleep. It allows us to communicate with the Higher Self aka Subconscious portion of the individual’s mind.
The Subconscious can identify any physical problem it detects within the body to a QHHT® Practitioner and explains the causes for its presence, be it from the current life or a past life. The Subconscious is then asked if it is suitable for healing to occur, which, if it is, is done instantaneously with no medication, surgery, or pain involved. Very often, simply understanding why a disease is present or why a particular emotion is being experienced is sufficient for it to be relieved and removed by the Subconscious.

What is Emotional Stress?–How It Affects You | MaxLiving

Emotional Stress, What It Is, Side Effects, and Stress Relief Tips
Stress permeates your life today in so many different ways. It impacts you with obvious glitches like being stuck in freeway traffic or having your boss yell at you when you under-delivered on a project. When you hear stress, you likely imagine its emotional impact, but its effects can also be physical like over-exercising or under-sleeping.

What Causes Stress?

Researchers define stress as “any situation which tends to disturb the equilibrium between a living organism and its environment.”
Among the many stressors that you might face today include work pressure, examinations, psychosocial stress, and physical stresses due to trauma, surgery, and various medical disorders.

Everyone deals with stress differently, and what might stress one person out would hardly bother another person. You might perceive rush-hour traffic as an hour of misery to grind your way through, or you might use it as an opportunity to catch up on phone calls. A work presentation can feel like a herculean challenge or an opportunity to show your skills.

While stress might feel like stress – meaning, miserable and uncomfortable – researchers divide it into three broad categories. “Stress management can be complicated and confusing because there are different types stress — acute stress, episodic acute stress, and chronic stress — each with its own characteristics, symptoms, duration and treatment approaches,” says the American Psychological Association (APA).

Acute stress, the most common form, comes from demands and pressures of the recent past and anticipated demands and pressures of the near future. Emotional distress, muscular problems including back pain, and gut problems like a stomachache are among the symptoms of acute stress.
We’ve all known someone who has episodic acute stress. He’s always late, constantly juggling multiple tasks, and generally seems to enjoy the chaotic drama that permeates his life.

If you call him out on this drama, he might lose his temper or even become hostile. He might seem to thrive on stress. The APA says that while acute stress can feel thrilling, chronic stress most decidedly does not. That festering, sometimes low-grade stress can leave you feeling hopeless and despondent. Among the culprits for chronic stress include poverty, having a dysfunctional family, being in an unhappy marriage or job, or living in a war-torn country.

“The worst aspect of chronic stress is that people get used to it,” says the APA. “They forget it’s there. People are immediately aware of acute stress because it is new; they ignore chronic stress because it is old, familiar, and sometimes, almost comfortable.”

Types of Stress

Acute stress can be quick and uncomfortable, but that short-term stress is… well, temporary. It goes away, and it might even make you stronger or more resilient. Chronic stress, on the other hand, sticks around long after its welcome. It can sabotage your health and happiness.

Within those short-term versus long-term categories, stress comes in different “flavors,” including traumatic, physical, and the most common, emotional. Because it occurs so commonly, let’s focus on emotional stress here.

Its effects can be similar to depression. With persistent emotional stress, you might lose or gain weight. You might notice sleep changes. You maybe feel isolated and struggle with mood swings. Needless to say, these feelings and changes can sabotage your life and your happiness.
Other signs of emotional stress include anxiety, having memory lapses, feeling fatigued and worn down, avoiding friends and family, not being in the mood for sex, and mood swings that practically everyone around you notices.

Everyone feels those things occasionally, but when you almost constantly feel tired, anxious, or want to isolate yourself from others, those can be signs that emotional stress has overpowered your life. And that’s nothing to take lightly.

Stress and Your Spine:

People understand the link between emotional stress and things like ulcers, heart disease, and headaches. But emotional stress also impacts those tight muscles in your neck and shoulders. That stress, coupled with stress added to other areas including your limbic system, meninges, and spinal cord, can have an impact on posture and contribute to poor spine health.

Stress impacts your spine in numerous ways.

One study discussed in the May 2001 issue of Popular Science looked at a group of college students who repeatedly lifted 25-pound boxes. A special measuring device calculated the pressure on the students’ spines.

During the first half of the experiment, the researchers offered words of encouragement to participants while they performed their tasks. But during the second half of the experiment, they were criticized. That criticism didn’t bother some students, but it sure did others.

In particular, introverted students who didn’t handle criticism well disliked repetitive work had an almost 27 percent increase in pressure on their spine. That result is important for different reasons. One, because stress impacts everyone differently. You might be able to “roll with it,” but not everyone can.

Two, a 27 percent increase of pressure on the spine is more than enough to subluxate someone. “What this shows is that there is a body-mind interaction that manifests itself as pressure on the spine,” said William Marras, professor of industrial engineering at Ohio State University.
Of course, if you are already suffering from spinal alignment issues, your spine is weak and stress will have a far greater negative impact on your health.

Stress impacts your spine in numerous ways.

Stress’s impact on your spine could come in other forms, including athletic competitions or even non-physical stressful situations like talking on the phone with your head tilted at an angle, sitting at a computer, or any kind of repetitive work while experiencing a job’s pressures.

Except for major physical traumas, most spinal issues likely occur from a combination of physical, chemical, and emotional stressors. Clearly, if you are subluxation free – already living with your spine in line – you can better withstand those forces.

But few of us do. Almost-constant stressors impact even the strongest spines, which is why keeping your spine its ideal state becomes so important. Otherwise, daily stress will undoubtedly take its toll.

Side Effects of Stress

Emotional stress can adversely impact your spine, which can also trigger or exacerbate numerous other health problems. Emotional stress can manifest in different ways, including anxiety, depression, and hostility.

Research shows women and men handle stress differently. Women have a greater risk for depression and anxiety, whereas men have a greater risk for alcohol-use disorders. For both genders, that’s bad news.

Emotional stress can also adversely impact many hormones including glucocorticoids, catecholamines, growth hormone, insulin, and prolactin. Some of that impact gears you up for the fight-or-flight response, but research shows these hormonal imbalances can negatively impact problems including obesity as well as your adrenal and thyroid glands.

Impacts of Stress Along with those hormonal imbalances, stress impacts numerous areas of your life. Some common issues and side effects of stress include.

1. Gut problems.

Epidemiological data indicates along with depression, emotional stress might influence the development of gastrointestinal disorders and cancers. One study with 23,698 people found stress and depression related to digestive diseases including functional dyspepsia (FD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and reflux esophagitis. Depression was also linked to peptic ulcer disease and adenoma/carcinoma of the colon and stomach.

2. Immunity.

Emotional stress can crash your immune system. In fact, one meta-analysis of over 300 empirical studies spanning three decades found psychological stress could negatively impact your immune system. You’ve probably experienced this after having a crazy week at work and then you suddenly fall ill on the weekend. It’s not in your head: Stress can seriously impact your immune system.

3. Skin problems.

The most common trigger for inflammatory skin disorders, including psoriasis, is emotional stress. Think about someone who has an emotional reaction to something and subsequently breaks out in hives or a rash.

4. Oxidative stress.

Think of oxidative stress as your body rusting. “Oxidative damage is what happens when nasty rogue molecules called ‘free radicals’ attack your cells and DNA, damaging the body and aging you from within,” says Jonny Bowden, Ph.D. Research shows emotional stress can trigger or exacerbate oxidative stress, leading to problems including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.

5. Obesity.

Emotional stress can encourage comfort-food eating, overeating, eating disorders, and fat-regulating hormonal imbalances. Once again, think back to a hectic week at work or a fight with your significant other. If you’re hitting the freezer for butter pecan at 11 p.m. more often than normal, emotional stress could play a role in those eating habits.

6. Diabetes.

Along with depression, researchers link emotional stress with increased risk for Type 2 diabetes. Obviously, chronic diseases like diabetes are multifactorial. A sugar-filled diet coupled with inactivity can certainly contribute to Type 2 diabetes, but conventional practitioners often overlook things like emotional stress for these conditions.

7. Lack of physical activity.

Research shows emotional stress can impair efforts to be physically active. Interestingly, exercise is one of the best mood boosters on the planet, yet if you’re feeling any type of emotional distress, you might be more likely to hit the couch than the weight room.

8. Sleep.

Sleep disrupts how you sleep and creates sleep disorders including insomnia. If you’ve had something weighing on your mind and tossed for hours, you know how emotional stress can impact sleep quality and quantity. What is Circadian Rhythm & Why Is It Important | MaxLiving
The list goes on and on. Emotional stress impacts nearly every area of life, and left unmanaged, it can sabotage your health, happiness, and overall quality of life.

How to Reduce Stress – 10 Strategies for Stress Relief

Everyone experiences stress differently. If you believe emotional stress has impacted your life, never dismiss that feeling as “in your head” or something to trooper through things. When you bottle up stress, it can manifest in unhealthy ways including drinking too much, anger and damaging your overall quality of life.

You can’t eliminate stress, but you can learn to manage it better. Stress management strategies can help you better cope with the near-constant emotional stress that permeates 21st-century life. Among those include:

1. Eliminate or minimize foods that can impact emotional stress.

Food sensitivities including sugar, gluten, dairy, and pretty much any processed food can create a roller coaster that leaves you feeling good for a bit but crashes quickly. Diet is an often-overlooked culprit for emotional stress. Eliminating food sensitivities and adding in plenty of whole, unprocessed, nutrient-rich foods can dramatically impact your mood.

2. Find a sanctuary that helps you unwind.

Everyone needs downtime to relax, feel calmer, and dial down emotional stress and other unpleasant emotions. Your sanctuary might be walking in nature, going to church, or taking your dog on a lake walk. Don’t underestimate the power of little moments to reduce emotional stress.

3. Try emotionally calming nutrients.

In an ideal world, your calming neurotransmitters could be in balance and you wouldn’t have nutrient deficiencies. Unfortunately, that often isn’t the case. Certain nutrients can help restore equilibrium and reduce the impact of emotional stress. Research show nutrients like L-theanine, GABA, and Rhodiola Rosea can help emotional stress, lower anxiety, and help you feel more focused. These benefits don’t happen overnight, and they demand the correct ratios with quality supplements. Try Adrenal Calm, a natural GABA supplement. Speak with a chiropractor or other healthcare specialist who can help you design a protocol that addresses your specific condition.

4. Get great sleep.

Talk about a vicious cycle: You sleep terribly, gain weight, and struggle with emotional stress. Research shows they’re interrelated. The aftermath is equally awful: Sleep-deprived, you’re more vulnerable to feeling emotional stress and grabbing a donut your receptionist brought in to compensate. Don’t fall into that trap. Aim for eight hours of quality, uninterrupted sleep every night. You might need to try a supplement like our sleep and mood or inositol powder to calm your mind and drift into sound slumber. Starting the habit of getting a good night’s sleep is one of the simplest things you can do to help with stress relief.

5. Get control over your situation.

One study found patients with heart failure who had high perceived control had significantly greater 6-minute walk distances and less emotional distress than patients with low perceived control. In other words, people who felt more in control over their situation had less emotional stress than those who didn’t feel in control. Getting control means doing whatever you can to improve a situation and letting go of what you can’t control.

6. Write it down.

Brooding on a situation can only amplify emotional stress. Journaling can provide a powerful release for those negative emotions. One study asked young adults to write for 20 minutes on four occasions about deepest thoughts and feelings regarding their most stressful/traumatic event in the past five years (expressive writing) or about a control topic (control). After three months, the expressive-writing group had a significant reduction in anxiety, whereas participants low in expressiveness showed a significant increase in anxiety.

7. Utilize apps.

Keeping smartphone applications nearby can help you take control when panic attacks or other emotional stressors usurp your day. Even a few minutes of deep breathing, meditation, or mindfulness can help you harness those feelings. Many of these apps are free, so test-drive a few out and see whether they work for you.

8. Implement strategies that help you manage stress.

Meditation, deep breathing, yoga, and changing your mindset are all tools you can utilize to manage emotional stress. None of these are quick fixes, but they can help you stay more present, put things into perspective, and let go of emotions that sabotage your health.

9. Regular sun exposure (aka Chronic sun exposure):

  • SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING AT LEAST 16 TYPES OF CANCER
  • reduces your risk of heart disease, diabetes, depression and numerous other illnesses and imbalances
  • can actually heal a number of illnesses by restoring proper vitamin D levels and melatonin levels
  • helps you lose weight
  • reduces stress and anxiety

10. Visit a chiropractor.

Your spine houses the nervous system. Chronic stress of any kind – and let’s face it, we all struggle with this to some degree – can impact muscle tension and contraction, putting uneven pressure on your skeleton and leading to subluxations. A chiropractor can help relieve stress’ pressure on your spine and also implement a diet, nutrient, and lifestyle protocol to help you better cope with emotional stress. What stress does to the spine.

If you struggle with emotional stress on any level or other detrimental thoughts, please seek someone who can help you. Talking with a therapist can help you work through the emotional baggage that holds your emotions hostage and frees you from emotional stress.

Why it Crackles An inspirational film for anyone who has ever aspired to anything.

Description THE HUMAN RACE follows six runners over the age of 50 as they each train for the biggest race of their lives. Make no mistake, this documentary is not cute. These runners are dedicated, fierce, competitive… and could probably outrun you. Watch The Human Race Online Free – Crackle

“Survival of the fittest” has been far exceeded by survival of the most collaborative. As hunter gatherers humans formed tribes and whether they were nomadic or regional it would soon be discovered that resources are the reason for sharing or aggression. “The reason for mankind is reason.”

Reason is another resource that evolved into communal and political scenarios. Food in short supply was likely very often shared with the individual stranger wandering into the camp yet a band of men with spears and clubs spying on a tribe living in comfort is a different situation.

Violence is exemplified in nature with the apex event of the hunt being the kill. As tribes and societies grew those “political” grew some fear strategies of killing not for food but for making an impression.

Probably the most common fear strategy is of “the devil” being pictured with horns, teeth or tail. The devil being thought to be evil equates nature with evil.

The title pagan originally meant living rural away from civilized society. Those able to survive with few neighbors became the originators of barter while the city folk became those comforted by commerce.

Several generations of this creates the duality authorized by those who were in financial competition of the rural who could provide for themselves.

“To make a better human lessen their strife.” It is certain that the cosmopolitan character is more at ease while the rural dwellers follow a greater life of responsibility. Nope. They are basically civilized by nature.

But for the interference by the Opposed, humanity would be civilized. It is a court case. The challenge was put forth by the Liar that mankind is not good enough. God is allowing the prosecution to present its evidence.

You must realize that the entire history of mankind in God’s eyes has not lasted the total duration of a day.

Yet to come in this, the seventh day, is for mankind to be allowed life in God’s kingdom in order for each to be fully informed as to what is really going on so they can make his/her decision as to whether they want to live or not. Jesus was appointed by God to be king over the earth for a thousand years. This thousand year reign of Jesus is also called Judgment Day, which is about to begin. During that time the people will be taught how to be human again. Homo Sapiens share 98.3% of our genes with chimpanzees.

Knowing what we know now, it wouldn’t have been quite as shocking to Jane Goodall. When she saw them go to war. Females and young chimps were killed. We only separated 5-7 million years ago. Gorilla violence is only limited to the alpha male silverbacks. They separated 8 million years ago. So there were no mass killings before 7 million years ago. I think IGNORANCE is the greatest enemy of our survival as beings. Gombe Chimpanzee War – Wikipedia

BARBARIAN; BARBAROUSbar-ba’-ri-an, bar’-ba-rus (barbaros):A word probably formed by imitation of the unintelligible sounds of foreign speech, and hence, in the mouth of a Greek it meant anything that was not Greek, language, people or customs. With the spread of Greek language and culture, it came to be used generally for all that was non-Greek.

Philo and Josephus sometimes called their own nation “barbarians,” and so did Roman writers up to the Augustan age, when they adopted Greek culture, and reckoned themselves with the Greeks as the only cultured people in the world. Therefore Greek and barbarian meant the whole human race (Romans 1:14).

In Colossians 3:11, “barbarian, Scythian” is not a classification or antithesis but a “climax” (Abbott) = “barbarians, even Scythians, the lowest type of barbarians.” In Christ, all racial distinctions, even the most pronounced, disappear.

In 1 Corinthians 14:11 Paul uses the term in its more primitive sense of one speaking a foreign, and therefore, an unintelligible language:”If then I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be to him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh will be a barbarian unto me.” Speaking with tongues would not be a means of communication.

The excited inarticulate ejaculations of the Corinthian revivalists were worse than useless unless someone had the gift of articulating in intelligible language the force of feeling that produced them (dunamis tes phones, literally, “the power of the sound”).In Acts 28:2,4 (in the King James Version of Acts 28:2 “barbarous people” = barbarians) the writer, perhaps from the Greek-Roman standpoint, calls the inhabitants of Melita barbarians, as being descendants of the old Phoenician settlers, or possibly in the more general sense of “strangers.” For the later sense of “brutal,” “cruel,” “savage,” see 2 Macc 2:21; 4:25; 15:2.  — T. Civilization, Barbarism and the Marxist view of History

What does the Bible say about race?

Any serious biblical study of race or ethnicity should start in Genesis 1.

The Bible does not start off with the creation of a special or privileged race of people. When the first human being is created he is simply called Adam, which is Hebrew for “humankind.” Adam and Eve are not Hebrews or Egyptians; they are neither White nor Black nor even Semitic.

Their own particular ethnicity is not even mentioned, for the Bible seems to stress that they are the mother and father of all peoples of all ethnicities. Adam and Eve are presented as non-ethnic and non-national because they represent all people of all ethnicities. In Genesis 1:26 God says, “Let Us make man (adam) in Our image, according to Our likeness.” Then 1:27 describes his creative action: “So God created man (adam) in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female.”[1]

The “image of God” relates to one or more of the following:

1) the mental and spiritual faculties that people share with God;

2) the appointment of humankind as God’s representatives on earth; and

3) a capacity to relate to God. Yet what is clear is that being created in “the image of God” is a spectacular blessing; it is what distinguishes people from animals.

Likewise, whether or not the “image of God” in people was marred or blurred in the “Fall” of Genesis 3, it is clear that at the very least people still carry some aspect of the image of God, and this gives humankind a very special status in the creation. Furthermore, as mentioned above, Adam and Eve are ethnically generic, representing all ethnicities. Thus the Bible is very clear in declaring from the beginning that all people of all races and ethnicities carry the image of God.

This reality provides a strong starting point for our discussion of what the Bible says about race. Indeed, John Stott declares, “Both the dignity and the equality of human beings are traced in Scripture to our creation.”[2]

To presuppose that one’s own race or ethnicity is superior to someone else’s is a denial of the fact that all people are created in the image of God. The Book of Proverbs presents several practical implications from this connection between God and the people he created.

For example, Proverbs 14:31a states, “The one who oppresses the poor insults their Maker.” Proverbs 17:5a echoes this teaching, “The one who mocks the poor insults his Maker.” These verses teach that those who take a superior attitude toward others due to their socio-economic position and thus oppress or mock others are in fact insulting God himself. To insult or mistreat the people God has created is an affront to him, their Creator.

The same principle applies to racial prejudice. The unjustified self-establishment of superiority by one group that leads to the oppression of other groups is an affront to God. Likewise, the mocking of people God created—and this would apply directly to ethnic belittling or “racial jokes”—is a direct insult to God. All people of all ethnicities are created in the image of God.

Viewing them as such and therefore treating them with dignity and respect is not just a suggestion or “good manners,” it is one of the mandates emerging out of Genesis 1 and Proverbs.

Brahmanism is an inhuman barbarian system, simply offending basic manners for another individual except its own clan, carefully designed on purpose in the most evil way possible, toxically designed, manufactured, built over a period of three millennia by the most cunning human parasites in the Indian history of human race on the mostly tropical Indian sub-continent – by the easy life seeking group of people, designated themselves as ‘Brahmins’, wearing a white thread across their body, from left to right with clear focus, goal to loot free of labor and costs of the goods and services of productive natives.  Adi Dravida in India | Joshua Project

Dividing them through mass propaganda of their irrational stories, through oral, written, paint and sculptures in their temples-small and big box – all of which are built free of any of Bramin individuals labor, or physical effort through the systemic manipulative techniques structured in a way to keep people of all levels and classes, ignorant through appropriation in stealthy ways – from the native works and customs in a massive scale, over the centuries, and now with a newer force and a notorious vigor in modern times after these forces recaptured the power almost to an absolute scale in India with impunity.Brahmanism, by the white threaded Brahmins, are in the business of maintaining status quo, of their perks and privileges by birth through continued lies thrust upon people by power captured by indirect and direct means over the last three millennia in the Indian subcontinent. These are group of marauders, posing as religious genius with their self-promoting lies of human life before and after creation of universe, as if the Vedic Brahmin was at the backbone of creating this universe with a view to fleece the powers and peoples alike – of their goods and services through the fake Hindu varieties of god market, advertising and selling.

The Vedic clan armed with stories such as ‘puranas’ (meaning old) and such in a non-existing god praising poetic language called ‘Sanskrit’ – now dead-except, used exclusively as a secretive tool to keep the cheat god market going – a psychological management language – that even abuses the gullible who worship their numerous gods, goddess and animals with myriad conflicting relationships, including bestiality and outrights contradictory to normal human relationships.

Brahminism is short, is a retrograde practice implemented, in contemporary times in the form of caste embedded Hinduism, sustained by the networks of an exclusive organization headed by the nasty characters, called Shankaracharya’s in India across some dozen strategic riverbank cities.

Thus a group of by the invading army of immigrants from the Caspian Sea area by foot and their chariots to a self-sustained rich areas, and rich hearted have been completely made into a no interactive, most part divided into rigid and closed castes – with nothing much to celebrate the so-called Indian freedom – there is no freedom in caste-based Hinduism. One has to live through its caste stamp though-out his lifetime – that is some 50 generations and counting-all for the selfish motives of a population that is just about 3% that has managed to instill a foolproof and destructive method on a population of about 97% – all from a cunning group of people who managed to get settlements across India. Remember only a group of about 50 landed in the current Americas but were able to conquer the whole natives’ geography that is three times the size of India. In short, it is easy for thieves to occupy the whole home once let in.No wonder, Brahminism is now aptly worded as ‘Bra-meanism’. Author – Suthamalli AdiDravida

An Overview of Joint Subluxation

If you’ve been reading about chiropractic care and its treatments you might have crossed the term subluxation. subluxation chart – Bing video

In most cases, chiropractic patients listen to this word after their initial diagnosis and when chiropractors are going through the spinal adjustments and manipulations. But, hearing this word so many times during your treatment plan might leave you asking – what is a subluxation?

Continue reading to understand the meaning behind a subluxation and what they mean to your health.

What Is a Subluxation of the Spine?
A subluxation of the spine is a condition that occurs when a joint begins to dislocate. But, instead of the joint surface completely losing contact, a subluxation is considered to be a “partial dislocation.” In some cases, subluxations can be quite painful, depending on the reason why they form. If left untreated a subluxation can trigger a degenerative process in the surrounding areas, and it might become more difficult to reverse it as the body progressively adjusts itself to the misaligned or partially dislocated shape.
In the chiropractic world, a subluxation is the most important reason to check your intervertebral joint motion and your musculoskeletal system. One could say a chiropractors’ entire world revolves around finding and realigning subluxations to improve and promote wellness.

Types of Subluxation
Some chiropractors like to separate subluxation by the level of dislocation present between the joints. In this case, some types of subluxation include a
V-shape widening, moderate subluxation, advanced subluxation, and finally ending up in a dislocation.

However, a subluxation can occur in one of three types, including:
Anterior Subluxation (forward) – This type is the most common,
it is localized and purely ligamentous, the bone is not involved.
Posterior Subluxation (backward) – This type of subluxation is very rare, and it is often the result of an injury or trauma.
Inferior (downward) – This type of dislocation is also rare, and it entails the joint being displaced downward.

Understanding the Subluxation Causes
Subluxations can occur at any age and can be attributed to various causes. However, subluxation causes can either be physical or emotional, the latter referring to chemical or emotional stressors. Understanding the subluxation cause can help chiropractors steer the treatment plan to target the source of
the problem and not just the symptoms.

Some of the most common subluxation causes include:

Traumas
The most common cause of subluxations, sudden trauma injuries include
car accidents, slip and falls, and so on. However, subluxations can also occur after childbirth, for both the child and the mother. Another physical cause of subluxation can be attributed to sleeping in a bad position, ALSO poor office ergonomics, and walking with poor posture. All of these impacts can nudge
the vertebrae out of alignment leading to a subluxation.

Toxins
While physical traumas are easy to spot, toxins on the other hand?
Not so much. Our bodies are a conglomerate of chemicals, and to stay healthy, our bodies must remain chemically balanced. When we ingest more toxic chemicals whether through the environment, food, or our drinks, we are at risk of impacting this balance. When these chemicals start fluctuating, our muscles can contract, changing the fiber length in the muscles, thus causing a subluxation.

Emotions
It might seem impossible for your emotional state to change your body. However, when you are experiencing stress, or you are going through any emotional distress, your body is thrown off-balance. The levels of tension in our backs and necks begin to change as a result, and the pulling from tight muscles can draw some of your vertebrae out of alignment. Not to mention, stress also alters your chemical balance by raising cortisol levels,
which brings us back to the toxins caused for subluxations.

What Are Some Subluxation Symptoms?
Unlike a dislocation, subluxations cannot be seen and their symptoms
often gradually worsen. Depending on the severity of the subluxation and the location of the joints affected, symptoms may vary. Some patients might feel these symptoms immediately after the appearance of the subluxation, usually when it is caused by a sudden trauma.

Some common condensed symptoms of subluxations include:

– Pain around the affected joint
– Swelling around the affected joint
– Limited mobility of the affected joint
– A sensation of the joint being unstable or wanting to give-out.

What Is Subluxation Treatment?
As subluxations can evolve, early treatment is vital to ensure the joint
remains in the proper position. The best way to treat subluxations is through chiropractic care. The primary goal of chiropractic care is to maintain an aligned body; localizing, analyzing, and adjusting subluxations is critical to keep an aligned body.
Some common at-home subluxation treatments include resting the affected joint, icing the area, and elevating it to reduce swelling. However, these will only help with some of the symptoms, but they will not correct or treat the subluxation itself.
The one and most effective subluxation treatment is a chiropractic adjustment.
In essence, a chiropractic adjustment or a spinal manipulation is a manual technique performed by a licensed chiropractor to treat subluxations.
Through a physical examination, a chiropractor can analyze and locate spinal subluxations. Then, by using precise and manual techniques, chiropractors can realign the vertebrae on the spine to make sure they are placed back in their proper position.
A joint subluxation is a partial dislocation of a joint. It is often the result of acute injury or repetitive motion injury but can also be caused by medical conditions that undermine the integrity of ligaments. The treatment for subluxations may include resetting the joint, pain relief, rehabilitation
therapy, and, in severe cases, surgery.

Symptoms
As opposed to luxation (the complete dislocation of a joint),
subluxations only result in the partial separation of a joint.
Some of the common symptoms include:
Pain and swelling around the joint
A sensation of joint instability
Limited mobility or the loss of range of motion
Loss of feeling or numbness (usually temporary)
Bruising. 1

If the joint injury is serious, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Signs of an emergency include severe pain, loss of sensation, or the inability to move a joint or bear weight on it. 2

Types of Subluxation
Some joints are more likely to be affected by subluxations than others.
Some of the more commonly affected joints include those of the spine, shoulder, kneecap, and elbow.

Vertebral Subluxation
A vertebral subluxation can occur with trauma to the spine, such as a fall or severe blow. The subluxation may involve a ligament rupture with or without injury to the vertebra (spinal bones) itself. This type of injury can compress
the spinal cord, resulting in shooting pains, referred pain, or loss of nerve function.3

The term subluxation is also used by chiropractors to describe any misalignment of the vertebrae that needs adjustment. Chiropractors typically use spinal manipulation to help place joints in the spine in their proper position.4

Shoulder Subluxation
A shoulder subluxation means that the ball of your upper arm comes partially out of the socket in your scapula (shoulder blade). Severe injury or trauma is most often the cause of shoulder subluxation.

Sports like swimming, tennis, volleyball, and others that involve repetitive upward motions can loosen the ligaments in the shoulder and make it more likely for subluxation to
occur.5
With shoulder subluxation, your shoulder may feel as it is loose or slipping in and out of the socket. Pain and loss of motion are common and often extreme.

What Happens When You Dislocate Your Shoulder

Patellar Subluxation
The patella (kneecaps) fits in a groove at the end of the tibia (thigh bone).
A patellar subluxation occurs when the kneecap moves partially out of that groove. Patellar subluxation is the most common knee problem in children
and adolescents.6
Patellar subluxation is usually caused by a direct fall on the knee but can also happen if the knee ligaments are loose. Symptoms can vary but may include pain, swelling, feeling the knee “give way,” and a misshapen look
to the knee.7

What Are the Signs of Kneecap Dislocation?

Elbow Subluxation
Elbow subluxations can occur when someone falls onto their hands.
Though elbow luxations are typically very painful, subluxations may not be
as obvious. The elbow may move perfectly well, there may be a dull or sharp pain.8

Children under seven can get a type of subluxation called a radial head subluxation (a.k.a. “nursemaid’s elbow”).
This can happen when the child’s arm is pulled a little too roughly. Because the bones and muscles of younger children are still growing, dislocation can occur quite easily. Although painful, a nursemaid’s elbow can be easily reset by a doctor.9

 Common Signs of Elbow Dislocation
Causes
Subluxations most often occur as the result of trauma to a joint. There may be predisposing factors that increase the risk of subluxation, such as older age or participation in contact sports.

Traumatic causes of joint subluxation include:

Blunt force injuries: Including motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, or a severe fall
Overuse injuries: Including those associated with medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow) or patellar tendonitis (jumper’s knee)
Joint hyperextension: An injury that occurs when a joint is hyperextended  (extended beyond its normal range of motion) 10
Subluxations can also occur as a result of loose joints. For example, people with generalized joint laxity and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome have joints that are overly flexible. Individuals with these conditions are prone to subluxations, often without any instigating trauma or injury. 11

During pregnancy, the overproduction of certain hormones can also loosen ligaments, making the joints hypermobile and at risk of dislocation.12

Diagnosis
Joint subluxation is typically diagnosed with a physical exam and imaging studies. Even if a joint injury doesn’t appear all

that serious but is limiting motion or “feels loose,” it is important to make an appointment with your doctor immediately.

During the appointment, your doctor will examine the injured joint to check for any visible damage, such as swelling and bruising. The doctor will ask questions about the type of incident, if any, that preceded the injury. You may also be asked to wiggle your fingers or toes to see if there are any ruptured tendons or nerve injury.

To confirm the diagnosis and direct the appropriate treatment, your doctor will order imaging tests to check if there are ruptures, hematoma (a blood pocket), joint effusion (the accumulation of fluid), or a fracture. Imaging options include:

X-ray: A plain film radiologic study that can help characterize the dislocation and identify ruptured ligaments or bone fractures
Computerized tomography (CT): A radiologic study involving composited X-rays that offer a three-dimensional representation of an injured joint
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI): An imaging study using powerful magnetic and radio waves that can help identify soft tissue injuries13
Doctors will use these same diagnostic tools if you are seen in an emergency room. They will also check for serious injuries, including arterial and nerve damage.

Treatment
After examining the injury, your doctor will likely reset the joint into its proper position using manual manipulation.
This may involve turning or pulling the limb. 14
Once the joint is properly realigned and your doctor has ruled out any complications, the treatment will be focused on reducing inflammation and pain. The standard approach, known by the acronym RICE, involves:
Rest: You will be instructed to limit activity and avoid putting weight on the affected joint.

To improve recovery and ensure stability, the doctor may immobilize the joint with a splint, brace, or cast.
Ice ApplicationIcing an injury helps dilate blood vessels to reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling.

Apply the ice pack for no more than 15 to 20 minutes several times a day, using a cloth barrier to prevent frostbite.
Compression: Your doctor may suggest an elastic bandage to control swelling, reduce blood flow, and provide structural support to the affected joint.
Elevation: Placing the joint above the heart can also alleviate pain and inflammation by reducing blood flow and pressure to the  the joint. 2
Your doctor may also suggest a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) like Aleve (naproxen)Advil (ibuprofen), or Voltaren (diclofenac) to alleviate swelling and inflammation.

Joint Surgery
Occasionally, surgery may be needed if the joint cannot be realigned manually or the dislocation is recurrent.

Surgery may involve grafting bone or connective tissues into the  joint space, debriding (removing) cartilage or bone to improve joint mobility, or repairing torn ligaments or tendons. 15
Joint surgery is performed by an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in muscle and skeletal diseases and disorders.

It may require open surgery or be performed arthroscopically.

What to Know About Knee Arthroscopic Surgery

Recovery and Rehabilitation
Once the acute inflammation has subsided, your doctor may suggest a long-term treatment plan. In most cases,

subluxations are one-time events, and you will be able to fully recover the function of a joint with simple at-home exercises.

Severe subluxations can cause long-term impairment and instability. If these symptoms persist after treatment, your doctor will likely refer you to a physical therapist to strengthen the muscles and ligaments and maintain or increase the range of motion in the joint. This may involve in-office procedures and
at-home exercises and treatments. 16

An Overview of Physical Therapy Exercises
Just because a subluxation is “not as bad” as a full dislocation, you shouldn’t ignore it and hope that it goes away on its own. Doing so may lead to permanent changes in the joint space (including the development of osteoarthritis) or result in the impairment of blood flow and the onset of tissue necrosis (tissue death) or avascular necrosis (bone death). 17 In most cases, joint subluxation can be treated conservatively. But, if a severe injury occurs, early treatment almost always results in better outcomes.

German New Medicine makes sense of illness, perhaps for the very first time and authenticates that disease is not

a mistake of nature, but rather an intrinsic part thereof. It affirms something deep within us, that we’ve always known.
Namely, Mother Nature is not fallible and continuously susceptible to break down. German New Medicine is often lumped
into the generic mind-body category or discipline. German New Medicine is not about your thoughts creating a cancer or your feelings manifesting as this-and-that disease.  German New Medicine pdf

It is not an approach of negativism that one’s “stinkin’ thinkin” must have created this or that. To elicit a cure we don’t have to manipulate genomes, reduce inflammation, alkalize the water, find the next ‘smart’ drug or war against anything whatsoever. The answer is revealed by understanding what catalyzed the disease response on the cellular level.

VIRUS of the Communist Party

We should be calling it the CCP VIRUS, says the Epoch Times and others.
This pandemic is not the fault of the Chinese people, but rather the fault of the Communist Party. The Chinese people have been victimized by the CCP’s handling of this pandemic. Create FEAR by running up the death toll to over 377,883 in the US. Many who suffered terminally ill from pneumonia, the flu, heart disease, cancer or diabetes, and tested positive for CCP virus, had his or her death attributed to the virus. Dont forget Fauci and Gates. Their dirty fingerprints are all over it as well. And they are taking full advantage of the chaos they have caused. There’s only one element in this world which can eliminate the CCP and that’s The Chinese people. The people of any given nation are the only agents totally responsible for whomever is governing them. The brutes ruling China are being sustained by The Chinese People.

The 2 States With the Lowest Vaccination Rates Are Seeing COVID Spike
Rrrrright! What Big Spike???
Inquiring minds need to know! Coronavirus (COVID-19) (msn.com)

Since the start of 2021, the number of vaccines administered in the U.S. has gone up, and COVID cases have come down. As of May 17, there are nearly 124 million fully vaccinated individuals in the country, per data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), meaning more than 37 percent of the U.S. is fully vaccinated. Meanwhile, daily COVID case numbers are the lowest they’ve been in the U.S. since June 2020, the White House reports. Though the trends nationwide are looking great, unfortunately, these numbers don’t translate to every state when examining vaccination rates and COVID cases on a more local level. Looking more closely, there seems to be a correlation between low vaccination rates and rising coronavirus case numbers. In fact, the two states with the lowest vaccination rates in the country also saw the biggest COVID case increases this past week. Read on to find out which two states are struggling to keep up.

RELATED: Dr. Fauci Says We’ll Be “Close to Back to Normal” by This Exact Date.

Alabama just had the largest spike in COVID cases last week, and it also has the second lowest vaccination rate nationwide.

Out of all 50 states, Alabama just experienced the biggest surge in COVID cases with a 115 percent increase in daily cases over the last seven days, according to data from The Washington Post. At the same time, the state has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country: about 27.6 percent of Alabamans are fully vaccinated as of May 18, per CDC data compiled by Becker’s Hospital Review. (By comparison, the state with the most residents vaccinated is Connecticut at 48.7 percent.)

Officials say supply is not the issue in Alabama—it’s demand. WBRC, a local Fox News affiliate in the state, just reported on May 17 that Alabama has nearly 1.3 million doses of the COVID vaccine waiting to be used.

“We have vaccines on every corner right now in the state of Alabama. It’s just a matter of people coming out, taking the opportunity to protect themselves against this deadly virus,” Karen Landers, MD, deputy health officer with the Alabama Department of Public Health, told WBRC.

Mississippi has the lowest vaccination rate in the U.S. and saw the second largest spike in COVID cases last week.

Last week, Mississippi saw the second largest spike in COVID cases in the country, behind Alabama. According to data from The Washington Post, over the last seven days, Mississippi has experienced a 27 percent increase in daily cases. The state has also vaccinated the lowest percentage of its population out of all 50 states. According to the data compiled by Becker’s Hospital Review, just 25.8 percent of Mississippi residents are fully vaccinated.

Vaccine hesitancy is incredibly rampant in the Magnolia State. A Morning Consult poll revealed that Mississippi has the highest share of vaccine hesitant residents in the country with about 34 percent of Mississippians unwilling to get the COVID vaccine.

President Biden recently warned about “flare-ups” in states where vaccination rates are low.

The correlation between states with low vaccination rates and COVID spikes is something medical experts and U.S. officials have been concerned about.

On May 17,  Joe Biden warned about the possibility for COVID “flare-ups” in states with low vaccination rates. “We know there will be advances and setbacks, and we know that there are many flare-ups that could occur,” Biden said during a White House press conference addressing the nation’s progress in the fight against COVID. “But if the unvaccinated get vaccinated, they will protect themselves and other unvaccinated people around them.”

The CDC director says these states should consider keeping mask mandates.

On May 13, the CDC announced one of its biggest guideline changes yet by saying that fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear masks indoors or outdoors under most circumstances. The change has prompted almost every state with mask mandates still in place to lift them in some capacity, or at least, announce an upcoming date when they will be officially lifted (save for New Jersey).

However, DC Director Rochelle Walensky, MD, says while lifting mask mandates is safe for fully vaccinated people in most situations, it’s not necessarily the right course of action for all states. “I want to make sure everybody understands … we’re not a homogeneous country,” Walensky told Fox News’s Chris Wallace during a May 16 interview. “There are some places that have more disease than others and less vaccination rates than others, and what I would say is in those communities, they should still be looking within those communities before removing mask policies.”

If you need one I just won’t go to these venues or fly. If enough of us don’t they’ll want our business back. It’s now the last stand because the first stand should have been against shutdowns, masks and separation.

I’ll be for a Vaccine passport when the lefties agree to a proper ID to vote
and recent this fraudulent mail in ballots that they used in the 2020 election. Unfortunately we have too many sheep in this country that just go along with the status quo. If the government requires it , they will jump to get it and bully the rest of us into doing it. It’s pathetic but people are not willing to stand together and fight for what’s right. We all choose what hill we die on. I will never accept the jab, or the papers!

In fact, if you were not informed that these vaccines are experimental at the time you received it, those who administered them were in violation!
You better believe it! But, there are too many sheeple who will rush to proudly display their passports just like they have to tell all of us they got vaccinated , like they’re good and we’re bad! They’ll be the first to jump on those trains to a Utopian Society!

What does it mean to be an American?
In my eyes to be an American means to have privileges, rights, and freedom. America isn’t perfect, but it is one of the only countries that have rights given to people of different diversities and gender. America does not have tremendous poverty. Instead we have choices given to us by the people who fought and died for the American people.
Without George Washington and the other patriots who planted the first seed in the ground and helped plant the American nation we live in now, who knows what America would be like now. One of the most important and well-known facts about America is freedom. The people in America are given something that not everybody’s given.
A chance to be successful and to survive, and most countries are not given that chance. Being in America offers a lot to the people. One of the most important rights America offers to America is the chance to be ourselves and to live in a place where small wars are not going on between states or communities.

Ridgemont valedictorian survived cancer EDUCATIONNEWSTOP STORIES

She wants to go back to the hospital that saved her LIFE!
By Mackenzi Klemann – mklemann@limanews.com

Ridgemont senior and valedictorian Abigail Hawk wants to return to the hospital that saved her life, this time as a pediatric sonographer rather than
as a patient. Abigail Hawk survived three tumor removals and a series of stem cell, radiation and chemotherapy treatments after being diagnosed with stage-four neuroblastoma at age 2.

ADA, OHIO — Abigail survived three tumor removals before her fifth birthday. Abigail Hawk survived three tumor removals and a series of stem cell, radiation and chemotherapy treatments after being diagnosed with stage-four neuroblastoma at age 2.
The Ridgemont High School valedictorian is now studying to return to the hospital that saved her life. Hawk was diagnosed at age 2 with stage four neuroblastoma, a rare cancer that forms in a young child’s nerve cells, often spreading from the abdomen to the lymph nodes, bone, skin or liver.

By the time she entered kindergarten, Hawk had already undergone three tumor resections in her abdomen and shoulder blade, followed by a series of stem cell transplants, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Her eighth birthday was a special cause for celebration: she was now five years post-treatment, the highest survival rate for children treated for stage-four neuroblastoma.
But the lingering side effects from radiation and chemotherapy followed
Hawk through high school, requiring frequent trips to specialists and leaving Hawk feeling tired. So, when Hawk couldn’t play outside with her peers during recess, she volunteered in other classrooms instead.

She showed the family’s hogs at the Auglaize County Fair and Ohio State Fair, gaining a sense of responsibility that once seemed out of reach. In high school, Hawk turned to competitive cheerleading, challenging her body to tumble and lift her teammates into the air, proving that she could be an athlete despite the developmental complications from treatment.
And she studied intensely to prove to her peers that she was just like them, completing two semesters of college coursework before graduating high school, all while maintaining a 4.0 grade-point average and defying early expectations that Hawk’s cancer treatment could lead to learning disabilities.
“I try to see it as if it didn’t happen; that it wasn’t part of my childhood, didn’t take up my childhood,” Hawk said. “My childhood was normal, and I’ve just been a normal person.” Hawk loved anatomy, voluntarily learning every bone in the skull. Her renewed interest in medicine offered a chance to revisit her past without dwelling on the traumas, instead focusing her efforts on the body itself and how she can help children living with cancer.

Ridgemont senior and valedictorian Abigail Hawk wants to return to the hospital that saved her life, this time as a pediatric sonographer rather than as a patient.
Hawk plans to attend the University of Findlay this fall, majoring in
diagnostic medical sonography to one day perform ultrasounds on children
at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she spent much of her childhood.
The ultrasound appointments were the most relaxing for Hawk:
“No one’s telling her bad news,” said Kimberly Hawk, Abigail’s mother. “Nobody is saying anything negative. No one’s creating a plan.
You’re just looking at cool images while talking to a nice individual.”
Hawk will one day be able to recreate those moments, soothing another
child feeling the same fears she once felt.   SOURCE

Stage IV Neuroblastoma Survival Rate.
Overall survival rate is 58%; but it varies with stage of disease.
Stage 1 about 100%; stage 2- 75%; stage 3- 43%; stage 4-15%;
stage 4s 70-80%. Very Good.

After someone is diagnosed with neuroblastoma, doctors will try to figure out
if it has spread, and if so, how far. This process is called staging. The stage of a child’s neuroblastoma describes how much cancer is in the body. Stage is used to help determine how serious the cancer is and how best to treat it.
For neuroblastoma, several other factors are looked at along with a child’s stage to decide what risk group a child falls into. A risk group is an overall picture of how a child’s neuroblastoma will respond to treatment and helps doctors select the treatments that might work the best. Doctors also use neuroblastoma risk groups when talking about survival statistics. For more information, see Neuroblastoma Risk Groups

There are two systems used for neuroblastoma staging today. The main difference between the two systems is whether the staging system can be
used to help determine a child’s risk group before treatment has started.

The International Neuroblastoma Risk Group Staging System (INRGSS) uses results from imaging tests (such as CT or MRI and MIBG scan) to help decide a stage.
The INRGSS can be determined before treatment has started.
The International Neuroblastoma Staging System (INSS)
uses results from the surgery to remove a child’s tumor instead of
imaging tests.

Since many children with neuroblastoma will have surgery as part of their treatment plan, the INSS does not work as well for assigning a risk group before some treatment has started. INRGSS is now being used to determine staging for most Children’s Oncology Group studies, but some studies have results that will be published over the next few years that use INSS.
These staging systems can both be used to help make sure children with neuroblastoma get the treatments that are best for them. If your child has neuroblastoma and has not had surgery, you are most likely to hear about
your child’s stage based on INRGSS.
If your child has had a surgery, you may hear doctors talk about your child’s stage using either system.
For more information about the physical exams, imaging tests, and biopsies used to help determine neuroblastoma stages, see Tests for Neuroblastoma.
The stages and risk groups for neuroblastoma are complex and can be confusing. If you are unsure about what these mean for your child, ask your child’s doctor to explain them to you in a way you can understand.

International Neuroblastoma Risk Group Staging System (INRGSS)
The INRGSS was developed to help determine a child’s stage and risk group before treatment has started. It has also helped researchers around the world compare results of studies to help figure out which treatments are the best. Before it was developed, researchers in different countries couldn’t easily compare study results because of different staging systems. INRGSS uses  imaging tests (usually a CT or MRI scan, and an MIBG scan), as well as exams and biopsies to help define the stage. The stage can then be used to help predict how resect able the tumor is – that is, how much of it can be removed with surgery.
The INRGSS uses image-defined risk factors (IDRFs), which are factors
seen on imaging tests that might mean the tumor will be harder to remove.
This includes things like the tumor growing into a nearby vital organ or growing around important blood vessels.

The INRGSS has 4 stages:
L1: A tumor that has not spread from where it started and has not grown into vital structures as defined by the list of IDRFs. It is confined to one area of the body, such as the neck, chest, or abdomen.
L2: A tumor that has not spread far from where it started (for example, it may have grown from the left side of the abdomen into the left side of the chest), but that has at least one IDRF.
M: A tumor that has spread (metastasized) to a distant part of the body
(except tumors that are stage MS).
MS: Metastatic disease in children younger than 18 months with cancer spread only to skin, liver, and/or bone marrow. No more than 10% of marrow cells are cancerous, and an MIBG scan does not show spread to the bones and/or the bone marrow.
International Neuroblastoma Staging System (INSS)
Since the mid-1990s, most cancer centers have used the INSS to stage neuroblastoma. This system takes into account the results of surgery to remove the tumor. It cannot help doctors determine a stage before any treatment has started, so it doesn’t work as well for children who don’t need or cannot have surgery.

In simplified form, the stages are:
Stage 1: The cancer is still in the area where it started. It is on one side of the body (right or left). All visible tumor has been removed completely by surgery (although looking at the tumor’s edges under the microscope after surgery may show some cancer cells). Lymph nodes outside the tumor are free of cancer (although nodes enclosed within the tumor may contain neuroblastoma cells).
Stage 2A: The cancer is still in the area where it started and on one side of the body, but not all of the visible tumor could be removed by surgery.
Lymph nodes outside the tumor are free of cancer (although nodes enclosed within
the tumor may contain neuroblastoma cells).
Stage 2B: The cancer is on one side of the body, and may or may not have been removed completely by surgery. Nearby lymph nodes outside the tumor contain neuroblastoma cells, but the cancer has not spread to lymph nodes on the other side of the body or elsewhere.
Stage 3: The cancer has not spread to distant parts of the body, but one of
the following is true: The cancer cannot be removed completely by surgery and it has crossed the midline (defined as the spine) to the other side of the body.
It may or may not have spread to nearby lymph nodes.

The cancer is still in the area where it started and is on one side of the body.
It has spread to lymph nodes that are relatively nearby but on the other side
of the body.
The cancer is in the middle of the body and is growing toward both sides (either directly or by spreading to nearby lymph nodes) and cannot be
removed completely by surgery.
Stage 4: The cancer has spread to distant sites such as distant lymph nodes, bone, liver, skin, bone marrow, or other organs (but the child does not meet
the criteria for stage 4S).
Stage 4S (also called “special” neuroblastoma): The child is younger than 1 year old. The cancer is on one side of the body. It might have spread to lymph nodes on the same side of the body but not to nodes on the other side. The neuroblastoma has spread to the liver, skin, and/or the bone marrow. However, no more than 10% of marrow cells are cancerous, and imaging tests such as an MIBG scan do not show cancer in the bones or the bone marrow.
Recurrent: While not formally part of the staging system, this term is used
to describe cancer that has come back (recurred) after it has been treated.
The cancer might come back in the area where it first started or in another
part of the body.

Prognostic markers
Prognostic markers are features that help predict whether the child’s
outlook for cure is better or worse than would be predicted by the stage alone.
Many of these prognostic markers are used along with a child’s stage to assign their risk group.

The following markers are used to help determine a child’s prognosis:
Age: Younger children (under 12-18 months) are more likely to be cured than older children.
Tumor histology: Tumor histology is based on how the neuroblastoma cells look under the microscope. Tumors that contain more normal-looking cells and tissues tend to have a better prognosis and are said to have a favorable histology. Tumors whose cells and tissues look more abnormal under a microscope tend to have a poorer prognosis and are said to have an unfavorable histology.

DNA ploidy: The amount of DNA in each cell, known as ploidy of the
DNA index, can be measured using special lab tests, such as flow cytometry
or imaging cytometry. Neuroblastoma cells with about the same amount of DNA as normal cells (a DNA index of 1) are classified as diploid. Cells with increased amounts of DNA (a DNA index higher than 1) are termed hyperdiploid.  Neuroblastoma cells with more DNA are associated with a better prognosis, particularly for children under 2 years of age.
DNA ploidy is not as useful for understanding a prognosis in older children.
MYCN gene amplifications: MYCN is an oncogene, a gene that helps regulate cell growth. Changes in oncogenes can make cells grow and divide
too quickly, as with cancer cells.
Neuroblastomas with too many copies (amplification) of the MYCN oncogene tend to grow quickly and can be harder to treat.
Chromosome changes: Tumor cells that are missing certain parts of chromosomes 1 or 11 (known as 1p deletions or 11q deletions) may predict
a less favorable prognosis. Having an extra part of chromosome 17 (17q gain)
is also linked with a worse prognosis. Understanding the importance of chromosome deletions/gains is an active area of neuroblastoma research,
for more information see What’s New In Neuroblastoma Research?

Neurotrophin (nerve growth factor) receptors:
These are substances on the surface of normal nerve cells and on some neuroblastoma cells. They normally allow the cells to recognize neurotrophins – hormone-like chemicals that help the nerve cells mature. Neuroblastomas that have more of certain neurotrophin receptors, especially the nerve growth factor receptor called TrkA, may have a better prognosis.
Serum (blood) levels of certain substances can be used to help predict prognosis.
Neuroblastoma cells release ferritin, a chemical that is an important part of the body’s normal iron metabolism, into the blood. Patients with high ferritin levels tend to have a worse prognosis.
Neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)
are made by some types of normal cells as well as by neuroblastoma cells. Increased levels of NSE and LDH in the blood are often linked with a worse outlook in children with neuroblastoma.
A substance on the surface of many nerve cells known as ganglioside GD2
is often increased in the blood of neuroblastoma patients.
Although the usefulness of GD2 in predicting prognosis is unknown, it may turn out to be more important in treating neuroblastoma.

Sacred Spirit May You Walk in Sunshine.
”Your thoughts and your perception of the world influences all that you do, and all that you are, and all that you can be. If you see the sunshine, feel the sunshine then you feel good. But if your focus is only on the clouds and the dark sky then you may find yourself a bit gloomy.” – Catherine Pulsifer   Source

The Spirit Within is a treasure map that will illuminate a path for the reader to travel on an inner journey of spiritual self-discovery. It is not our physical self that was created in the image and likeness of God but our Soul or Spirit Within. Learning how to connect with your Spirit Within or True Self is a treasure far beyond any riches you could ever imagine.
Get quiet, focus within, and ask yourself. Is this book for me? You will know the answer from a subtle feeling or knowing within you. Whether you choose to read on or not as long as you are heeding the advice or your own Spirit Within, you can never lose your way.
True intuition is a brief, consciously aware, connection with God through your Spirit WithinIT is never wrong.

True Inspiration is the consciously aware ability to access and maintain this same connection at deeper levels and for longer periods of time. Great Masters of all disciplines demonstrate this connection at the highest of levels. Anyone who performs at a much higher level than their peers, have a deeper or stronger level of connection Within compared to those below them. There are many levels and durations of this connection, some are stronger or deeper than others. Occasionally someone will display a once in a lifetime feat or performance never to be duplicated by them again. Everyone has this innate ability within themselves.
When someone learns how to access this connection at deeper levels miracles can and DO happen. Each and every one of us can consciously learn how to develop and use this God force because we are eternally connected to IT.

As an inspirational and motivational speaker, Paul Pacific relays all-true, dramatic encounters and profound moments, from tears of joy and sadness to circumstances which witnesses stated bordered on the miraculous.
From a variety of personal stories, the latest scientific evidence, and a
host of other well documented areas, the author explains how and why, we are Spiritual Beings choosing to have a human experience. Paul also presents simple and practical guidelines on how to personally and consciously connect to your own “Spirit Within.”  The Spirit Within: How We Are Connected to God Each Other and All-Things.: Pacific, Paul: 9781452537238: Amazon.com: Books

Trust the Spirit Within
By Rev. Mary Louise Kupferle

Trust the Spirit Within
Trust the Spirit within, dear friend, to help you relax and let go.
Trust the Spirit within to increase your health, happiness, and contentment.
Trust the Spirit within to bring you refreshing rest, sleep, and renewal each night. Trust the Spirit within to reveal to you right companions and satisfying relationships. Trust the Spirit within to pave the way to effective action and enjoyable living. Trust, truly trust, the Spirit within.

Your trust frees you from burdens and releases you from feelings of excessive responsibility. To trust the Spirit within enhances the working of your intellectual processes and helps you perceive when the suggestions of others are wise and right for you. To trust the Spirit within brings you inner freedom from heaviness of thought and emotion and lifts you above the strain of difficult striving.
Practice momentarily trusting the Spirit within to reveal to you what you need to know. Trust the Spirit within to direct you in helping your body adjust to healing, strengthening, rebuilding. Trust the Spirit within to guide you into the most helpful ways of communicating with your family AND relating successfully to any challenge in home or business. Trust the Spirit within to unfold your life plan, and trust the Spirit within those whom you love to unfold their life plan to them. …

Trust the Spirit within to give you the right ideas to solve anything in
your life that needs solving. Trust the Spirit within to illumine your mind.
Trust the Spirit within to heal your body. Trust the Spirit within to release you from limiting relationships or habits. Trust the Spirit within to free you from agitation or irritation in regard to the attitudes of others.
Trust the Spirit within to quiet your impatience and bring new peacefulness to your soul. Trust the Spirit within to show you how to handle your business, to give you guidance in making decisions, to fill you with a feeling of well-being. …

Trust the Spirit within—within yourself, within others, within any situation or circumstance confronting you. Trust the Spirit within your business ventures, within everything around you, within the weather, the plane in which you fly, the car in which you drive, or the environment in which you live. If you think that your faith is not adequate or your belief not strong enough, start to build that faith and belief with these very words, saying them boldly and firmly:
I trust the Spirit within.

Practice trusting God, practice trusting His presence in you, practice trusting God’s presence in others. Practice and continue practicing. Repeat the words:
I trust the Spirit within, then let go. Discipline yourself to affirm this at the very moment you become upset or disturbed about something. Use the wonderful tools of your mind and heart positively and constructively and stay with the affirmative attitude of trusting the Spirit within until you begin to feel an inner response. It will come. …

No matter how deep your difficulty appears to you, trust the Spirit within
to guide you to victory. It will. If at first you find it a struggle to trust, trust anyway. If you feel that it is impossible for you to trust, trust anyway. If you think you cannot make the grade, trust the more. If you doubt your own ability, potential, or capacity of faith, just be the former and more insistent that you can trust the Spirit within. Trust again and again and again. Trust the moment. Trust in the morning, trust every hour on the hour, trust at work
and at rest. Trust yourself, trust others, trust life, trust the Spirit in everyone and in everything.

The reality of the Spirit of God lies within all, worthy of trust. …
I WISH YOU WELL – A Beautiful Country Gospel Song – LIFEBREAKTHROUGH
You, dear friend, stand upon the brink of your good at this moment.
It is there, right where you are now. Begin to accept and receive it,
first mentally and within your heart by fully trusting the Spirit within.
Declare often, to deepen this acceptance: I trust the Spirit within.

You will be following the direction of the One who knew the way to receive
the very best of the kingdom of good. You will be launching into the deep with greater awareness of the good that lies ready and waiting for your acceptance in faith. Trust the Spirit within!

The Simple Prayer | By Mary L. Kupferle
Mary Kupferle Obituary (2003) – West Palm Beach, FL – The Palm Beach Post (legacy.com)
Several years ago while I was talking with a loved friend and Truth teacher,
she mentioned that, when in need, she seldom asked God for anything specific. Instead, she often used the simple words, “God, I am trusting!” Whatever you need to know or understand or do in this moment, dear friend, God will show you how. God will show you how to have faith, patience, courage, wisdom, and strength. God will show you how to pray more effectively for yourself and for those you love. God will show you how to have greater control over your thoughts, words, emotions, and life.

I feel like happiness can only be achieved in two ways,
improve your reality or lower your expectations.

If you lower your expectations too much, you won’t be happy.
But I totally understand what you mean!

You can’t always control circumstances that would make someone unhappy – however you can overcome them with the right attitude. Happiness is fleeting anyway, joy is deep. No such thing as happiness or its polar opposite.
For those people who’s expectations have been met by the Biden presidency, they have set their expectations to the lowest level humanly possible.
Never ever ever lower your expectations.
If people don’t meet your expectations, find ones that do…

Israel’s big lie: it’s a war crime

Smoke billows after an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City targeted the Ansar compound. Israel and Hamas Fighting Raises Questions about War Crimes.

The Human Race is Becoming Barbarians!!!
Linked to the Hamas movement, in the Gaza Strip on May 14, 2021. – Israel pounded Gaza and deployed extra troops to the border as Palestinians fired barrages of rockets back, with the death toll in the enclave on the fourth day
of conflict climbing to over 100. This article originally appeared at ScheerPost.
The U.S. conversation on Israel is changing, no matter Biden’s meek response.
This isn’t self defense — it’s a war crime, aided and abetted by the U.S.
By Chris Hedges.

Nearly all the words and phrases used by the Democrats, Republicans and the talking heads on the media to describe the unrest inside Israel and the heaviest Israeli assault against the Palestinians since the 2014 attacks on Gaza, which lasted 51 days and killed more than 2,200 Palestinians, including 551 children, are a lie. Israel, by employing its military machine against an occupied population that does not have mechanized units, an air force, navy, missiles, heavy artillery and command-and-control, not to mention a U.S. commitment to provide a $38 billion defense aid package for Israel over the next decade, is not exercising “the right to defend itself.” It is carrying out mass murder. It is a war crime.
Israel has made clear it is ready to destroy and kill as wantonly now as it was in 2014. Israeli defense minister Benny Gantz, who was the chief of staff during the murderous assault on Gaza in 2014, has vowed that if Hamas “does not stop the violence, the strike of 2021 will be harder and more painful than that of 2014.” The current attacks have already targeted several residential high-rises including buildings that housed more than a dozen local and international press agencies, government buildings, roads, public facilities, agricultural lands, two schools and a mosque.

I spent seven years in the Middle East as a correspondent, four of them as The New York Times Middle East bureau chief. I am an Arabic speaker. I lived for weeks at a time in Gaza, the world’s largest open-air prison, where more than 2 million Palestinians exist on the edge of starvation, struggle to find clean water and endure constant Israeli terror. I have been in Gaza when it was pounded with Israeli artillery and air strikes. I have watched mothers and fathers, wailing in grief, cradling the bloodied bodies of their sons and daughters. I know the crimes of the occupation — the food shortages caused by the Israeli blockade, the stifling overcrowding, the contaminated water, the lack of health services, the near-constant electrical outages due to the Israeli targeting of power plants, the crippling poverty, the endemic unemployment, the fear and the despair. I have witnessed the carnage.
I also have listened from Gaza to the lies emanating from Jerusalem and Washington. Israel’s indiscriminate use of modern, industrial weapons to kill thousands of innocents, wound thousands more and make tens of thousands of families homeless is not a war: It is state-sponsored terror. And while I oppose the indiscriminate firing of rockets by Palestinians into Israel, as I oppose suicide bombings, seeing them also as war crimes, I am acutely aware of a huge disparity between the industrial violence carried out by Israel against innocent Palestinians and the minimal acts of violence capable of being waged by groups such as Hamas.

The false equivalency between Israeli and Palestinian violence was echoed during the war I covered in Bosnia. Those of us in the besieged city of Sarajevo were pounded daily with hundreds of heavy shells and rockets from the surrounding Serbs. We were targeted by sniper fire. The city suffered a few dozen dead and wounded each day. The government forces inside the city fired back with light mortars and small arms fire. Supporters of the Serbs seized on any casualties caused by Bosnian government forces to play the same dirty game, although well over 90 percent of the killings in Bosnia were the fault of the Serbs, as is also true regarding Israel.
The second and perhaps most important parallel is that the Serbs, like the Israelis, were the principal violators of international law. Israel is in breach of more than 30 UN Security Council resolutions. It is in breach of Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention that defines collective punishment of a civilian population as a war crime. It is in violation of Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention for settling over half a million Jewish Israelis on occupied Palestinian land and for the ethnic cleansing of at least 750,000 Palestinians when the Israeli state was founded and another 300,000 after Gaza.

East Jerusalem and the West Bank were occupied following the 1967 war.
Its annexation of East Jerusalem and the Syrian Golan Heights violates international law, as does its building of a security barrier in the West Bank that annexes Palestinian land into Israel. It is in violation of UN General Assembly Resolution 194, which states that Palestinian “refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbors should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date.” This is the truth.
Any other starting point for the discussion of what is taking place between Israel and the Palestinians is a lie. Israel’s once-vibrant peace movement and political left, which condemned and protested against the Israeli occupation when I lived in Jerusalem, is moribund.
The right-wing Netanyahu government, despite its rhetoric about fighting terrorism, has built an alliance with the repressive regime in Saudi Arabia, which also views Iran as an enemy. Saudi Arabia, a country that  produced
15 of the 19 hijackers in the September 11 attacks, is reputed to be the most prolific sponsor of international Islamist terrorism, allegedly supporting Salafist jihadism, the basis of al-Qaida, and groups such as the Afghanistan TalibanLashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and the Al-Nusra Front.

Saudi Arabia and Israel worked closely together to back the 2013 military coup in Egypt, led by General Abdul Fattah el Sisi. Sisi overthrew a democratically elected government. He has imprisoned tens of thousands of government critics, including journalists and human rights defenders, on politically motivated charges. The Sisi regime collaborates with Israel by keeping its common border with Gaza closed to Palestinians, trapping them in the Gaza strip, one of the most densely populated places on earth. Israel’s cynicism and hypocrisy, especially when it wraps itself in the mantle of protecting democracy and fighting terrorism, is of epic proportions.
Those who are not Jewish in Israel are either second-class citizens or live under brutal military occupation. Israel is not, and never has been, the exclusive homeland of the Jewish people. From the 7th century until 1948, when Jewish colonial settlers used violence and ethnic cleansing to create the state of Israel, Palestine was overwhelmingly Muslim. It was never empty land. The Jews in Palestine were traditionally a tiny minority. The United States is not an honest broker for peace but has funded, enabled and defended Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people. Israel is not defending the rule of law. Israel is not a democracy. It is an apartheid state.

That the lie of Israel continues to be embraced by the ruling elites. There is no daylight between statements in defense of Israeli war crimes by Nancy Pelosi and Ted Cruz — and used as a foundation for any discussion of Israel is a testament to the corrupting power of money, in this case that of the Israel lobby, and the bankruptcy of a political system of legalized bribery that has surrendered its autonomy and its principles to its major donors. It is also a stunning example of how colonial settler projects — and this is also true in the United States — always carry out cultural genocide so they can exist in a suspended state of myth and historical amnesia to legitimize themselves.
The Israel lobby has shamelessly used its immense political clout to demand that Americans take de facto loyalty oaths to Israel. The passage by 35 state legislatures of Israel lobby-backed legislation requiring their workers and contractors, under threat of dismissal, to sign a pro-Israel oath and promise not to support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement is a mockery of our constitutional right of free speech. Israel has lobbied the U.S. State Department to redefine antisemitism under a three-point test known as the Three Ds: the making of statements that “demonize” Israel; statements that apply “double standards” for Israel; statements that “delegitimize” the state of Israel. This definition of antisemitism is being pushed by the Israel lobby in state legislatures and on college campuses.

The Israel lobby spies in the United States, often at the direction of Israel’s Ministry of Strategic Affairs, on those who speak up for the rights of Palestinians. It wages public smear campaigns and blacklists defenders of Palestinian rights — including the Jewish historian Norman Finkelstein; UN Special Rapporteur for the Occupied Territories Richard Falk, also Jewish; and university students, many of them Jewish, in organizations such as Students for Justice in Palestine.
The Israel lobby has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to manipulate U.S. elections, far beyond anything alleged to have been carried out by Russia, China or any other country. The heavy-handed interference by Israel in the American political system, which includes operatives and donors bundling together hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions in every U.S. congressional district to bankroll compliant candidates, is documented in the Al-Jazeera four-part series “The Lobby.” Israel managed to block “The Lobby” from being broadcast. In the film, a pirated copy of which is available on the website Electronic Intifada, the leaders of the Israel lobby are repeatedly captured on a reporter’s hidden camera explaining how they, backed by the intelligence services within Israel, attack and silence American critics and use massive cash donations to buy politicians.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secured an unconstitutional invitation from the-House Speaker John Boehner to address Congress in
2015 to denounce President Barack Obama’s Iranian nuclear agreement. Netanyahu’s open defiance of Obama and alliance with the Republican Party, however, did not stop Obama in 2014 from authorizing a 10-year, $38 billion military aid package to Israel, a sad commentary on how captive American politics is to Israeli interests. The investment by Israel and is backers is worth it, especially when you consider that the U.S. has also spent more than $6 trillion during the last 20 years fighting futile wars that Israel and its lobby pushed for in the Middle East.
These wars are the greatest strategic debacle in American history, accelerating the decline of the American empire, bankrupting the nation at a time of economic stagnation and mounting poverty, and turning huge parts of the globe against us. They serve Israel’s interests, not ours.  The longer the mendacious Israeli narrative is embraced, the more empowered become the racists, bigots, conspiracy theorists and far-right hate groups inside and outside Israel. This steady shift to the far right in Israel has fostered an alliance between Israel and the Christian right, many of whom are anti-Semites. The more Israel and the Israel lobby level the charge of antisemitism against those who speak up for Palestinian rights, as they did against former British Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, the more they embolden the real anti-Semites.

Racism, including antisemitism, is dangerous.
It is not only bad for the Jews. It is bad for everyone. It empowers the dark forces of ethnic and religious hatred on the extremes. Netanyahu’s racist government has built alliances with far-right leaders in Hungary, India and Brazil, and was closely allied with Donald Trump. Racists and ethnic chauvinists, as I saw in the wars in the former Yugoslavia, feed off each other. They divide societies into polarized, antagonistic camps that only speak in the language of violence. The radical jihadists need Israel to justify their violence, just as Israel needs the radical jihadists to justify its violence.

These extremists are ideological twins.
This polarization fosters a fearful, militarized society. It permits the ruling elites in Israel, as in the United States, to dismantle civil liberties in the name of national security. Israel runs training programs for militarized police, including from the United States. It is a global player in the multibillion-dollar drone industry, competing against China and the United States.
It oversees hundreds of cyber-surveillance startups whose espionage innovations, according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, have been utilized abroad “to locate and detain human rights activists, persecute members of the LGBT community, silence citizens critical of their governments, and even fabricate cases of blasphemy against Islam in Muslim countries that don’t maintain formal relations with Israel.”

Israel, like the United States, has been poisoned by the psychosis of
permanent war. One million Israelis, many of them amongst the most — enlightened and educated, have left the country. Its most courageous human rights campaigners, intellectuals and journalists — Israeli and Palestinian — endure constant government surveillance, arbitrary arrests and vicious government-run smear campaigns. Mobs and vigilantes, including thugs from right-wing youth groups such as Im Tirtzu, physically assault dissidents, Palestinians, Israeli Arabs and African immigrants in the slums of Tel Aviv. These Jewish extremists have targeted Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, demanding their expulsion.
They are supported by an array of anti-Arab groups including the Otzma Yehudit Party, the ideological descendant of the outlawed Kach party, the Lehava movement, which calls for all Palestinians in Israel and the occupied territories to be expelled to surrounding Arab states, and La Familia, far-right soccer hooligans. Lehava in Hebrew means “flame” and is the acronym for “Prevention of Assimilation in the Holy Land.” Mobs of these Jewish fanatics parade through Palestinian neighborhoods, including in occupied East Jerusalem, protected by Israeli police, shouting to the Palestinians who live there “Death to the Arabs,” which is also a popular chant at Israeli soccer matches.

Israel has pushed through a series of discriminatory laws against non-Jews that echo the racist Nuremberg Laws that disenfranchised Jews in Nazi Germany. The Communities Acceptance Law, for example, permits “small, exclusively Jewish towns planted across Israel’s Galilee region to formally reject applicants for residency on the grounds of ‘suitability to the community’s fundamental outlook.'” Israel’s educational system, starting in primary school, uses the Holocaust to portray Jews as eternal victims. This victimhood is an indoctrination machine used to justify racism, Islamophobia, religious chauvinism and the deification of the Israeli military.
There are many parallels between the deformities that grip Israel and the deformities that grip the United States. The two countries are moving at warp speed towards a 21st-century fascism, cloaked in religious language, which will revoke what remains of our civil liberties & snuff out our anemic democracies.  The failure of the United States to stand up for the rule of law, to demand that the Palestinians, powerless and friendless, even in the Arab world, be granted basic human rights mirrors the abandonment of the vulnerable within our own society. We are headed, I fear, down the road Israel is heading down. It will be devastating for the Palestinians. It’ll be devastating for us. And all resistance, as the Palestinians courageously show us, will only come from the street. Please WATCH:  Rick Steves Holy Land – Bing video

World peace

World peace, or peace on Earth, is the concept of an ideal state of happiness, freedom, and peace within and among all people and nations on Planet Earth. This idea of the world non-violence is one motivation for people and nations to willingly cooperate, either voluntarily or by virtue of a system of governance that has this objective. Different cultures, religions, philosophies, and organizations have varying concepts on how such a state would come about.
If your dreams don’t scare you, you are not dreaming big enough✨
