Science FINALLY Found The Key Neurotransmitter To Spirituality And Higher Consciousness!
Science has found the key in the brain to higher consciousness and it is also what makes you feel fulfilled and happy in life.
A team of Swedish researchers having found …. the presence of a receptor that regulates general serotonin activity in the brain correlates with people’s capacity for transcendence, the ability to apprehend phenomena that cannot be explained objectively. Scientists have for long suspected that serotonin influences spirituality. They found that drugs known to alter serotonin such as LSD also induce mystical experiences. If this neurotransmitter is released in huge quantities into the body, the individual …. will reach a higher state of consciousness. An immense feeling of joy and happiness takes over (4).
Have you ever come across the term LSD? Well, I’m sure you have. LSD or lysergic acid diethylamide is a powerful drug that can make or mar. While it can churn out millions for the peddler it can ruin the one who ingests it. So notorious is this one that the mere possession of it can see you to the gallows. Now what offence can LSD commit? Why are the ones introduced to it ready to throw away every penny they have just to buy it? Let’s find out.
In 1938 Albert Hoffman a Swiss Scientist, synthesized LSD while researching lysergic acid derivatives, from the ergot fungus that grows on rye. While re-synthesizing LSD he accidentally absorbed a small quantity of the same through his fingertips. He experienced something unfamiliar, something strong. It was the strong effects of LSD (1).
Later on in the 1940s, LSD made its entry in the health market under the name Delysid. It was marketed to psychiatrists as a tool for understanding psychosis and for facilitating psychotherapy. A patient administered Delysid could capture repressed memories. The psychiatrist could get an insight into the patient’s mind via a primary process induced by the hallucinogen. The drug found widespread acceptance. Timothy Leary, a lecturer in Psychology at Harvard University in the 1950s, was a great advocate of LSD. But in 1965 it was banned in the US. Timothy Leary was tried for unlawful possession of marijuana cigarettes and put behind bars. He was sentenced to 30 years.
What actually happens when you ingest LSD?
Dr. Fahad Basheer
When ingested LSD acts on specific receptors in the body and binds with them. A feeling akin to pleasure and ecstasy sweeps through the being. But what has LSD got to do with serotonin? The specific receptors are none other than serotonin receptors themselves. 5HT type 2 receptors are the receptors where the entire serotonin binds. These receptors are there within all and the correct peptide that ought to bind there is serotonin itself. The power of serotonin peptide is so great that LSD is no match for it. But to experience it one needs to reach a point called unconditional love.
Serotonin unlike other peptides has the power to hold sway over the human mind and body. Made up of tryptophan amino acid, serotonin peptide is a potent mood booster. It is a powerful antidepressant and anti-anxiety peptide. At the physical level it has amazing anti-aging properties. It eliminates the free radicals that accelerate the aging process. A low-level of the peptide can result in eating disorders and obesity.

Serotonin or 5-hydroxytryptamine is a monoamine neurotransmitter that was initially believed to be produced in just one location in the body i.e. the brain. However as research on the topic advanced, it was found 95% of the total serotonin in the human body is produced in the gut, in the enterochromaffin cells. While The rest of the serotonin is synthesized in the serotonergic neurons of the central nervous system. The brain cannot depend upon serotonin supply from outside sources i.e. the gut because it i.e. serotonin, is incapable of crossing the blood-brain barrier. Which protects the brain from external invasions. Hence, the brain has to source its requirement of the neurotransmitter from within.
Serotonin contributes to the feeling of well-being and hence, is often referred to as the ‘happiness hormone’. The gut bacteria aids in the production of this neurotransmitter. It imparts a sense of love within the gut in an individual and is also actively involved in preventing depression and regulating sleep, appetite and body temperature. However, its influence is not limited to the gut alone.
Studies have revealed that serotonin is a potent accelerator critical to maturation of the brain. It has a powerful influence on the brain neurons responsible for mood, sexual desire and functioning, appetite, memory, learning and social behavior. Deficiency of the peptide can lead to autism and Down syndrome.
When serotonin is produced in a balanced amount an immense spiritual feeling takes over. Serotonin is the hormone and the neurotransmitter that makes one feel the spiritual bliss and well-being.
Lysergic acid diethylamide abbreviated LSD or LSD-25, also known as lysergide (INN) and colloquially as acid, is a psychedelic drug of the ergoline family, well known for its psychological effects, which can include altered thinking processes, closed- and open-eye visuals, synesthesia, an altered sense of time and spiritual experiences, as well as for its key role in 1960s counterculture. It is used mainly as an entheogen, recreational drug, and as an agent in psychedelic therapy. LSD is non-addictive, is not known to cause brain damage, and has extremely low toxicity relative to dose. However, several acute adverse psychiatric reactions such as anxiety, paranoia, and delusions are possible.[

Yoga: Fight stress and find serenity
Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines physical poses, controlled breathing, and meditation or relaxation. Yoga may help reduce stress, lower blood pressure and lower your heart rate. And almost anyone can do it.
Understanding yoga
Yoga — a mind-body practice — is considered one of many types of complementary and integrative health approaches. Yoga brings together physical and mental disciplines that may help you achieve peacefulness of body and mind. This can help you relax and manage stress and anxiety.
The core components of hatha yoga and most general yoga classes are:
- Poses. Yoga poses, also called postures, are a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility. Poses range from lying on the floor while completely relaxed to difficult postures that may have you stretching your physical limits.
- Breathing. Controlling your breathing is an important part of yoga. Yoga teaches that controlling your breathing can help you control your body and quiet your mind.
- Meditation or relaxation. In yoga, you may incorporate meditation or relaxation. Meditation may help you learn to be more mindful and aware of the present moment without judgment.
The health benefits of yoga
- Stress reduction. A number of studies have shown that yoga may help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also enhance your mood and overall sense of well-being.
- Improved fitness. Practicing yoga may lead to improved balance, flexibility, range of motion and strength.
- Management of chronic conditions. Yoga can help reduce risk factors for chronic diseases, such as heart disease and high blood pressure. Yoga might also help alleviate chronic conditions, such as depression, pain, anxiety and insomnia.
Yoga precautions
See your health care provider before you begin yoga if you have any of the following conditions or situations:
- A herniated disk
- A risk of blood clots
- Eye conditions, including glaucoma
- Pregnancy — although yoga is generally safe for pregnant women, certain poses should be avoided
- Severe balance problems
- Severe osteoporosis
- Uncontrolled blood pressure
You may be able to practice yoga in these situations if you take certain precautions, such as avoiding certain poses or stretches. If you develop symptoms, such as pain, or have concerns, see your doctor to make sure you’re getting benefit and not harm from yoga.

Getting started
Although you can learn yoga from books and videos, beginners usually find it helpful to learn with an instructor. Classes also offer camaraderie and friendship, which are also important to overall well-being.
When you find a class that sounds interesting, talk with the instructor so that you know what to expect. Questions to ask include:
- What are the instructor’s qualifications? Where did he or she train and how long has he or she been teaching?
- Does the instructor have experience working with students with your needs or health concerns? If you have a sore knee or an aching shoulder, can the instructor help you find poses that won’t aggravate your condition?
- How demanding is the class? Is it suitable for beginners? Will it be easy enough to follow along if it’s your first time?
- What can you expect from the class? Is it aimed at your needs, such as stress management or relaxation, or is it geared toward people who want to reap other benefits?
Achieving the right balance
Every person has a different body with different abilities. You may also need to modify yoga postures based on your individual abilities. Your instructor may be able to suggest modified poses. Choosing an instructor who is experienced and who understands your needs is important to safely and effectively practice yoga.
Regardless of which type of yoga you practice, you don’t have to do every pose. If a pose is uncomfortable or you can’t hold it as long as the instructor requests, don’t do it. Good instructors will understand and encourage you to explore — but not exceed — your personal limits. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1r8NSzAf2w
Introduction to Nutrition !!!!
While battling cancer, along with lifestyle changes, certain changes need to be made when it comes to the intake of food. There are certain food items that trigger cancer and others that help to combat it. Avoid Sugar and Saturated Fat!!!
Healthy foods are not only high in nutritional value, but also help to prevent diseases and to cure them as well. Refined foods like white rice, white bread, cereals, crackers and baked goods like cookies, for example, have all been found to be directly connected to causes of cancer.
Foods which are treated and contain ingredients like hydrogenated oils, sodium nitrate, sodium benzoate, synthetic food colours, MSG along with other additives, preservatives and chemicals are known as cancer promoting foods. A person with cancer should avoid these at all costs.
What kind of diet is known as an anti-cancer diet? Clearly a diet containing food items which have strong ingredients for cancer prevention. In order to fight cancer, add as much as possible nutrition, minerals and vitamins to your diet. This is dependent on the foods you eat and also the drinks you choose.
Drinking eight glasses of filtered water is vital for any diet as it keeps the body hydrated and flushes out toxins. A high-fibre diet containing foods like legumes or something from the bean family or a leafy vegetable for instance are important ingredients that should be included in your cancer-fighting diet.
Foods that help to fight cancer include tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, berries, certain teas like green tea extract, foods with whole grains, the skin of red grapes and beans and the list goes on. Any foods which contain anti-oxidants will be very beneficial like beans, apricots and spinach to name a few.
Another important consideration in a cancer-fighting diet is to eat pure or organic foods. Organic foods are grown by farmers who do not use chemicals and pesticides that can trigger cancer in the long run.

What is Toxicology?
Toxicology is the scientific study of adverse effects that occur in living organisms due to chemicals. It involves observing and reporting symptoms, mechanisms, detection and treatments of toxic substances, in particular relation to the poisoning of humans.
It includes environmental agents and chemical compounds found in nature, as well as pharmaceutical compounds that are synthesized for medical use by humans. These substances may produce toxic effects in living organisms including disturbance in growth patterns, discomfort, disease and death.
Importance of Dose
The dose of the substance is an important factor in toxicology, as it has a significant relationship with the effects experienced by the individual. It is the primary means of classifying the toxicity of the chemical, as it measures the quantity of the chemical, or the exposure to the substance. All substances have the potential to be toxic if given to living organisms in the right conditions and dose.
LD50 is a common term used in toxicology, which refers to the dose of a substance that displays toxicity in that it kills 50% of a test population. In scientific research, rats or other surrogates are usually used to determine toxicity and the data are extrapolated to use by humans.
A conventional relationship between dose and toxicity has traditionally been accepted, in that greater exposure to a chemical leads to higher risk of toxicity. However, this concept has been challenged by a study of endocrine disruptors and may not be a straightforward relationship.
Safe eating during cancer treatment
When you have cancer, you need good nutrition to help keep your body strong. To do this you need to be aware of the foods you eat and how you prepare them.
Some raw foods can contain germs that can hurt you when cancer or treatment weakens your immune system. Ask your health care provider about how to eat well and safely.
Eggs can have a bacteria called Salmonella on their inside and outside. This is why eggs should be cooked completely before eating.
- Yolks and whites should be cooked solid. DO NOT eat runny eggs.
- DO NOT eat foods that may have raw eggs in them (such as certain Caesar salad dressings, cookie dough, cake batter, and hollandaise sauce).
Be careful when you have dairy products:
- All milk, yogurt, cheese, and other dairy should have the word pasteurized on their containers.
- DO NOT eat soft cheeses or cheeses with blue veins (such as Brie, Camembert, Roquefort, Stilton, Gorgonzola, and Bleu).
- DO NOT eat Mexican-style cheeses (such as queso blanco fresco and cotija).
Fruits and vegetables:
- Wash all raw fruits, vegetables, and fresh herbs with cold running water.
- DO NOT eat raw vegetable sprouts (such as alfalfa and mung bean).
- DO NOT use fresh salsa or salad dressings that are kept in the refrigerated cases of the grocery store.
- Drink only juice that says pasteurized on the container.
DO NOT eat raw honey. Eat only heat-treated honey. Avoid sweets that have creamy fillings.
Cook Foods Safely
When you cook, make sure you cook your food long enough.
DO NOT eat uncooked tofu. Cook tofu for at least 5 minutes.
When eating chicken and other poultry, cook to a temperature of 165°F (74°C). Use a food thermometer to measure the thickest part of the meat.
If you cook beef, lamb, pork, or venison:
- DO NOT eat raw meat, such as Japanese sashimi.
- Make sure meat is not red or pink before you eat it.
- Cook meat to 160°F (74°C).
When eating fish, oysters, and other shellfish:
- DO NOT eat raw fish (such as sushi), raw oysters, or any other raw shellfish.
- Make sure all fish and shellfish you eat is cooked thoroughly.
Heat all casseroles to 165°F (73.9°C). Warm hot dogs and lunch meats to steaming before you eat them.
Be Careful When You Eat Out
When you dine out, stay away from:
- Raw fruits and vegetables
- Salad bars, buffets, sidewalk vendors, potlucks, and delis
Ask if all fruit juices are pasteurized.
Use only salad dressings, sauces, and salsas from single-serving packages. Eat out at times when restaurants are less crowded. Always ask for your food to be prepared fresh, even at fast food restaurants.
Food has been the medicine of humanity since the dawn of time. Many herbs that we associate only with seasoning our food are, in fact, potent herbal medicines. http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/your-medicine-your-pantry#
Do you realize that one of the most powerful cures for cancer is streaming over our heads each and every day, free of charge? It’s sunlight, which is astounding in its ability to prevent and cure cancer. If it were a mainstream drug, it would probably make the cover of Time magazine and be heralded as the greatest medical breakthrough in the history of modern science. It’s that good.
Sunlight exposure reduces the risk of many cancers by more than 50 percent and even helps reverse certain types of cancers through the creation of vitamin D in the body. It’s a magnificent natural healing modality, and it’s been right in front of our eyes, every single day, since before Homo sapiens even evolved on this planet. Yet somehow, after spending billions of dollars on so-called medical research to find “cures” for various cancers, almost no one from the world of mainstream medicine has yet acknowledged the healing power of natural sunlight and vitamin D. http://in5d.com/sun-gazing-why-i-stare-at-the-sun/
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/01/08/feasting-on-sunshine.aspx
None of them have actually prescribed sunlight to patients, except for perhaps a handful of pioneering researchers like Dr. Michael Holick, who was also attacked for speaking out about the truth of sunlight and cancer. By and large, the medical community has not only ignored this truly miraculous cure for many types of cancer; it has worked hard to discredit it.

Cancer IS… A Myth
Cancer has been a very personal story for me.
by Gabe Hoffman 🙂
When I was 17, I had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease — a liquid cancer, liquid tumor, whatever you’re calling it and up until I was 24, between myself and my father, my family had been intimately involved with cancer care, conventional, moving towards holistic towards the end for about seven years.
So it is personal but really, who is it not personal for these days? I would say everybody in the audience, every person watching this around the country, if you’re in other countries, this is no longer something that happens to some random person that we we feel bad for and hopefully it doesn’t happen to us.
This is a part of 21st century living and I feel that how we are looking at cancer could take a large shift. So, the name of this talk, which is also dramatic, is “Cancer is a Myth”.
In our society, very often we use the word myth to mean false and so, do I mean, cancer is false? Well, cancer has been pretty real for me. In fact, it’s one of the real-est things that’s ever happened. One of the most life changing events that’s happened to me, that’s happened to my family and the people I’ve been around — but when I use the word myth, I’m talking about a story, I’m talking about mythology.
I believe cancer is a part of the modern mythology of today’s world. It’s a story more than anything else. Specifically, it’s what we could call the hero’s journey.
Quoting Joseph Campbell, “We must let go of the life we have planned so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.”
There is no clear example, greater of a force that will come into your life and change and stop you in your tracks than cancer right now — and how we look at that can be very different.
Different people are going to receive this information and it’s going to… some people aren’t feeling like that. They don’t feel like they’re on a hero’s journey but this is a hero’s journey. There is an arc in the storyline of your life. If this happens to you, this is an opportunity to change the way you see where you’re headed and I feel that if we look at cancer especially, just with how it’s growing, as a group of cells that have to be attacked, we’re missing out on a lot.
We’re missing some of the most powerful aspects. I mean cancer slows down and changes the way we’re experiencing our day to day world. It also changes the relationship with our family. It changes the relationship with the people close to us. I mean, most of the most beautiful experiences in my life came directly as a result of this. I think all of us have seen that. If we look at what is happening in a hero’s journey and what is happening in a cancer patient’s journey… it’s a story about love, it’s a story about compassion, it’s a story about fear, it’s about confronting death, it’s about change, it’s about shifting in values you know, what epic drama in the world?
What period of time have we not had a story like this and this is part of what’s going on today and this is the story that’s helping bring people together more than it’s taking us away from each other. There’s so much beauty wrapped up in the story and of course it’s very personal. For me, I certainly was not on what I would think of as a hero’s journey and I was only 17.
The video goes into detail on a number of questions, but if you are in fact the hero of your own personal journey, I would take a minute and ask ourselves this question collectively as a planet, as a community and as an individual, “ALSO If you were the hero of your own journey and no matter what’s going on, whatever the crisis is, if it’s physical health, if it’s money, if it’s relationship, you’re the hero, this is your storyline, what would the hero do now?”
That’s the question. What would they do now? If every day we wake up asking that question, I think we can go to sleep well and I’m looking forward to that attitude carrying us forward in today’s world.

The Fabric 0f Mind
Extraversion boosts immune system
— Ends —
In the 1980s, my father, Richard Bergland, collaborated with Norman Cousins. In his book The Fabric of Mind (the link is external) my father wrote,
Therefore it is astonishing to note that they herald a new champion: Norman Cousins, a writer who preaches that ‘hormones of happiness‘ may be released by pleasure, joy, humour, and satisfaction. The rejuvenating power of belly laughter, which Cousins found, when he first described in America’s top medical journal, The New England Journal of Medicine, and later in his book The Anatomy of an Illness.
As a child, Norman Cousins suffered from poor health and was misdiagnosed with tuberculosis and placed in a sanatorium. Being surrounded by illness, trapped indoors, and detached from the vitality of the outside world shaped Cousins’ lifelong approach to sickness and health.
Cousins said that as a youngster he “set out to discover exuberance.” As a teenager, he dedicated himself to athletics and used baseball as a way to fortify his resilience.
As an adult—when Cousins was diagnosed with a terminal illness—he decided a hospital environment wasn’t the best place for his body to get well. Against his doctors advice he developed a personalized recovery program based on a positive attitude, love, faith, hope, and laughter.
Cousins said, “I made the joyous discovery that ten minutes of genuine belly laughter had an anesthetic effect and would give me at least two hours of pain-free sleep.” He reported, “When the pain-killing effect of the laughter wore off, we would switch on the motion picture projector again and not infrequently, it would lead to another pain-free interval.”
Recently, other researchers have found evidence that explains how some aspects of our personality may affect our health and well-being. These new findings support long-observed associations between personality traits, physical health, and longevity.
In December 2014, a team of health psychologists at The University of Nottingham and the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) released a study which examined the relationship between certain personality traits and the expression of genes that can affect someone’s health by impacting his or her immune system.
Their study (link is external) used highly sensitive microarray technology to examine relationships between the five major human personality traits and two groups of genes active in human white blood cells (leukocytes): one involving inflammation, and another involving antiviral responses and antibodies.
The participants completed a personality test which measures the classic five major dimensions of personality—extraversion, neuroticism, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness.
Blood samples were collected from each volunteer for gene expression analysis and their typical smoking, drinking and exercise behaviors were also recorded for control purposes. The analysis of gene expressions was performed at the Social Genomics Core Laboratory at UCLA.
The findings indicated that ‘extraversion’ was significantly associated with an increased expression of pro-inflammatory genes. This implies that extroverts—who would tend to be exposed to more infections as a result of their socially orientated disposition—appeared to have immune system responses that paralleled the increased risk of exposure to germs and allowed them to deal more effectively with infection.
So Human an Animal
In the early 1960s, before I was born, my mother worked with René Dubos at the Rockefeller Institute. René Dubos was a microbiologist and humanitarian credited with discoveries which led to the first antibiotics that were ever manufactured commercially. Prophetically, after his discovery Dubos warned of potential microbial resistance to antibiotics (superbugs) and the importance of humans being exposed to some germs.
My mom took this advice seriously, and encouraged me to be outgoing and curious when I was growing up in Manhattan. She also considered a part of my childhood development the“enriched environment” of culture, diversity, and ideas that New York City had to offer—but viewed the international germs that my sisters and I were exposed to everyday as an imp
In 1969, René Dubos won The Pulitzer Prize for So Human, An Animal: How We Are Shaped by Surroundings and Events (link is external) which is one of my all-time favorite books and has influenced me and my family tremendously. René Dubos was such a mentor to my parents … that they promised to name their first born child after him, hence my older sister’s name, Renée Bergland.
In the 1960s, antibiotics were generally being over-prescribed. Because of the knowledge my parents gained from Dubos, they only allowed me and my siblings to take an antibiotic if it was clearly a non-viral infection that our own immune system couldn’t overcome without drugs. I believe that this has kept my immune system stronger throughout my lifespan.
My mom also strongly encouraged me and my siblings to be adventurous and open to new experience knowing this exposure would strengthen our immune systems by exposing us to a wide range of microbes.
Thankfully, being sequestered in a sterilized plastic bubble was never an option when I was growing up. In my imagination, I have childhood memories of my mom almost encouraging me to lick the subway poles to boost my immune response when I was a toddler, although I’m sure she never took it that far.
Neuroplasticity and Free-Will Make Some Personality Traits Malleable
The recent University of Nottingham study begs the age old nature-nurture question of whether biology determines a psychological disposition o r if psychology determines our biology. Our personality traits and genetic resilience are probably always going to be a mix of both nature and nuture.
I am of a strong belief that mindset and personality are never static or fixed. Yes, each of us is born with unique dispositions but neuroplasticity and our free-will gives every person the ability to fine-tune his or her explanatory style and attitude towards life to some degree. Many of your Big-5 personality traits that you might want to amplify or diminish are in the locus of your control.
I also believe strongly that there is a time and place for all five personality traits to take center stage. Just like the spokes on the wheel of a bicycle, each trait has an important role in our individual and collective survival. For example, introversion and introspection throughout the day may be just as important as extraversion, or even more important on certain days. That said, I believe there is very little room for chronic neuroticism in any of our lives. ortant part of building our resilience.
In The Athlete’s Way I have a section based on the Five-Factor Personality Model that discusses the role that balancing these five traits played in our evolutionary progress and homeostasis from a neurobiological perspective.
I describe the role of each trait saying, “We developed a sensitivity to stress (Neuroticism), the need for company, protection and mating (Extroversion), the ability to problem solve (Openness to experience), the aptitude to cooperate and work collectively (Agreeableness) and an obligation to meet social and moral needs of your community (Conscitentoiusness).”
Clearly, my father’s work with Norman Cousins and dinner conversations about the ‘hormones of happiness’ influenced the lens through which I look at the Big-5 personality traits and led me to expand on my dad’s neurobiological connections.
On page 274 (link is external) of The Athlete’s Way: Sweat and the Biology of Bliss I describe the hormones and neurochemicals linked to personality traits and the detriments of neuroticism saying:
Neuroticism should never be a part of your game or a part of your life. Strive to eliminate it, because it is the key trait associated with rejection sensitivity and a fear of failure. It raises cortisol and lowers serotonin, which is the most lethal combination to have pumping through your system. Strengthening the other four cardinal traits will boost serotonin (confidence), dopamine (achievement), anandamide (the bliss molecule), and vasopressin/oxytocin (connectedness), while lowering MAOs (serotonin eating Pac-Men) and lowering cortisol (the stress hormone).
Neuroticism Is the Antithesis of Extraversion
My bias against neuroticism was probably subconsciously influenced by Woody Allen’s charactertures of a neurotic, hypochondriac New Yorker in 1970s movies like Annie Hall and Manhattan.
I didn’t want to be a typical high-strung New Yorker, so I consciously practiced being more laid-back and easygoing every day despite the potential pressure-cooker aspects of living in New York City. This attitude helped me have grace under pressure as an athlete, and kept my mind and body healthy. Research shows that the same is true for people of all ages and walks of life.
A 2012 study (link is external) from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, “Positive Attitude Towards Life and Emotional Expression as Personality Phenotypes for Centenarians,” found that ‘personality genes’ may help account for some people living past one hundred years of age.
The researchers assessed the personalities of 243 centenarians and found that there was a common thread of having a positive attitude towards life across the board. Most were also outgoing, optimistic and easygoing. They also considered laughter an important part of life and had a large social network.
Centerarians tended to express their emotions freely rather than keeping them bottled up. Interestingly, the centenarians also had much lower scores for displaying neuroticism and much higher scores for being conscientious compared with a representative sample of the U.S. population.
Conclusion: A Positive Attitude Is Not a Panacea for Many Illnesses, Viruses, and Diseases
As with any plague or pandemic like Ebola or HIV/AIDS we need the most advanced pharmaceuticals and healthcare protocols to save lives and to help people live longer. One important caveat about the ‘power of positive thinking’ and staying healthy is the unintended subtext that imples that if you get and stay sick that it’s somehow your fault. This is wrong.
At the end of the day, staying healthy and fighting illness is always going to be about taking the best medicine available when necessary, pragmatic optimism, and maintaining a fierce fighting spirit. The mindset of optimal health is often a tightrope walk between 2 extremes of being a delusionally positive Pollyanna or a cynical and neurotic hypochondriac.
Luckily, with some practice each of us can identify our individual personality predispositions and practice making appropriate adjustments to find a sweet spot that marries all of your personality traits into a blend that keeps you alive and kicking for a long, long time.

Confident and at Ease
I have been watching the Olympics and when I watch such athletes as Katie Ladecky or Michael Phelps. I always Marvel at those whom have such confidence and ease within perform best. Same might be said of cancer survivors those that know themselves might perform best on their road to recovery.
If you’re worried about your health, stop. You’re only making it worse. Chronic Stress takes its toll on your body, and new research reveals it is even more dangerous than thought. Overcoming your fear when you are on the run !!!!
Stress causes deterioration in everything from your gums to also your heart and can make you more susceptible to illnesses ranging from the common cold to cancer, according to a review essay in the December 2007 issue of the Association for Psychological Science’s magazine Observer. Thanks to new research that’s crossing the disciplines of psychology, medicine, neuroscience and genetics, the mechanisms underlying the connection are rapidly becoming understood.
When an animal perceives danger, a system kicks into gear: A chain reaction of signals releases various hormones — most notably epinephrine (“adrenaline”), norepinephrine and cortisol — from the adrenal glands above each kidney. Norepinephrine has been shown to strengthen neuron connections in a way that seals in memories of emotionally-charged events, perhaps encouraging us to dwell, and stress, over traumatic incidents.
These hormones boost heart rate, increase respiration and increase the availability of glucose (cellular fuel) in the blood, thereby enabling the well-known “fight or flight” reaction.
Because these responses take a lot of energy, stress simultaneously tells other costly physical processes — including digestion, reproduction, physical growth and some aspects of the immune system — to shut or slow down.
When occasions to fight or flee are infrequent and threats pass quickly, the body’s stress thermostat adjusts accordingly: The intestines resume digesting food, the sex organs kick back into gear and the immune system resumes fighting infections.
Growing evidence shows that our sensitivity to stress as adults is already “tuned,” so to speak, in infancy, according to the review article. Specifically, the amount of stress encountered in early life sensitizes an organism to a certain level of adversity; high levels of early life stress ….may result …. into hypersensitivity to stress later, as – well – as to adult depression. This is likely because animals raised in chronically adverse conditions (e.g., high conflict, material deprivation) may expect more of the same in the near future, and their bodies must quickly adjust.
Some people, and animals, are more prone to stress, research shows. A 2007 study found that mice who tended to stress out produced too much of a certain protein, which apparently caused them to overreact.
Besides heart disease, post traumatic stress disorder and depression, chronic stress has been linked to ailments as diverse as intestinal problems, gum disease, erectile dysfunction, growth problems and even cancer. One study found that people whom experience high amounts of stress at work are more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes. Recent research showed that a stress hormone could cause skin disorders like psoriasis and eczema. Chronic rises in stress hormones have been shown to accelerate the growth of precancerous cells and tumors; they also lower the body’s resistance to HIV and other cancer-causing viruses like human papilloma virus (the precursor to cervical cancer in women).
According to Stanford neuroendocrinologist Robert Sapolsky, who has studied stress in baboon troops, it is the relative safety from predators and high amounts of leisure time enjoyed by some primates — including humans — that has transformed these useful biological coping mechanisms into a source of pointless suffering and illness.
Dr Bruce Lipton PhD – cell biologist, former medical lecturer, and world-acclaimed author of three books on the New Biology – talks to David Holden on the truth about Cancer. He explains how cancer genes can predispose a person towards cancer, but don’t mean a person WILL get cancer.
In this conversation at his New Zealand home, Bruce explains the role of Epigenetics in determining health, and how gene expression depends on:
– nutrition;
– pollution, EMFs and toxins
– our emotional states
– what we perceive and how we see the world.
What happens during stress, and how does it affect your immune system? The difference between old physics and new physics — and therefore old biology and new biology. Why energy is significant in shaping matter. Why conventional oncology is missing the point, missing a piece of the puzzle. Why nocebo (the opposite of placebo) can cause cancer and death.
Bruce talks about this, and much more, in this video; and in his presentation at the Holistic Cancer Congress in Auckland, New Zealand this March 16th and 17th. https://www.youtube.com/watch?

Psychological stress describes what people feel when they are under mental, physical, or emotional pressure. Although it is normal to experience some psychological stress from time to time. People whom experience high levels of psychological stress or who experience it repeatedly over a long period of time may develop health problems (mental and/or physical). Stress can be caused both by daily responsibilities and routine events, as well as by more unusual events, such as a trauma or illness in oneself or a close family member. When people feel that they are unable to manage or control changes caused by cancer or normal life activities, they are in distress. Distress becomes increasingly recognized as a factor that can reduce the quality of life of cancer patients. There is even some evidence that extreme distress is associated with poorer clinical outcomes. Clinical guidelines are available to help doctors and nurses assess levels of distress and help patients manage it. This fact sheet provides a general introduction to the stress that people may experience as they cope with cancer. More detailed information about specific psychological conditions related to stress can be found in the Related Resources and Selected References at the end of this fact sheet. The body responds to physical, mental, or emotional pressure by releasing stress hormones (such as epinephrine and norepinephrine) that increase blood pressure, speed heart rate, and raise blood sugar levels. These changes help a person act with greater strength and speed to escape a perceived threat. Research has shown that people who experience intense and long-term (i.e., chronic) stress can have digestive problems, fertility problems, urinary problems, and a weakened immune system. People who experience chronic stress are also more prone to viral infections such as the flu or common cold and to have headaches, sleep trouble, depression, and anxiety. Although stress can cause a number of physical health problems, the evidence that it can cause cancer is weak. Some studies indicated a link between various psychological factors and an increased risk of developing cancer, but others have not. Apparent links between psychological stress and cancer could arise in several ways. For example, people under stress may develop certain behaviors, such as smoking, overeating, or drinking alcohol, which increase a person’s risk for cancer. Or also someone who has a relative with cancer may have a higher risk for cancer because of a shared inherited risk factor, not because of the stress induced by the family member’s diagnosis. People who have cancer may find the physical, emotional, and social effects of the disease to be stressful. Those who attempt …to manage… their stress with risky behaviors such as smoking or drinking alcohol or who become more sedentary may have a poorer quality of life after cancer treatment. In contrast, people who are able to use effective coping strategies to deal with stress, such as relaxation and stress management techniques, have also been shown to have lower levels of depression, anxiety, and symptoms related to the cancer and its treatment. However, there is no evidence that successful management of psychological stress improves cancer survival. Evidence from experimental studies does suggest that psychological stress can affect a tumor’s ability to grow and spread. For example, some studies have shown that when mice bearing human tumors were kept confined or isolated from other mice—conditions that increase stress — their tumors were more likely to grow and spread (metastasize). In one set of experiments, tumors that were transplanted into the mammary fat pads of mice having much higher rates of spread to the lungs and lymph nodes if the mice were chronically stressed …. than if the mice were not stressed. Studies in mice and in human cancer cells grown in the laboratory have found that the stress hormone norepinephrine, part of the body’s fight – or – flight response system, may promote angiogenesis and metastasis. In another study, women with triple-negative breast cancer who had been treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy were asked about their use of beta blockers, which are medications interfere with certain stress hormones, before hand and during chemotherapy. Women who reported using beta – blockers had a better chance of surviving their cancer treatment without a relapse than women who did not report beta blocker use. There was no difference between the groups, however, in terms of overall survival. Although there is still no strong evidence stress directly affects cancer outcomes, some data suggest that patients can develop a sense of helplessness or hopelessness when stress becomes overwhelming. This response is associated with higher rates of death, although the mechanism for this outcome is unclear. It may be that people who feel helpless or hopeless do not seek treatment when they become ill, give up prematurely on or fail to adhere to potentially helpful therapy, and also engage in risky behaviors such as drug use, or do not maintain a healthy lifestyle, resulting in premature death. Emotional and social support can help patients learn to cope with psychological stress. Such support can reduce levels of depression, anxiety, and disease- and treatment-related symptoms among patients. Approaches can also include the following:

They start to feel psychological stress, do not seek treatment, fail to take helpful therapy engage in risky behaviors such as drug use, or do not maintain a healthy lifestyle, resulting in premature death.
People have to admit that they are the center of things that behave around themselves. So if you are diagnosed with any cancer type, you have to believe in yourself that you can do it. NEVER GIVE UP! Your thoughts are your destiny.
Emotional and social support can help patients learn to cope with psychological stress. Such support can reduce levels of depression, anxiety, and disease- and treatment-related symptoms among patients. Start by doing what is necessary, then do what is possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. Start to know yourself. ALSO Laugh more often, love more, appreciate little things in life, so big things will come to you.

It’s very important to find yourself. Spend time with yourself.
Try to explore things, because everything has beauty but not everyone can see it!
Evidence from experimental studies does suggest that psychological stress can affect a tumor’s ability to grow and spread. So you can manage it, make those uncontrollable cells controllable.
Save yourself.

CANCER – There is no universal cure or treatment.
Everything happens for a reason: https://www.youtube.com/
In the Prison of Life you grow very close to your good friends. You know them inside and out. You talk about everything from your past, present, and future. You grow so close because you are around them all the time; you can’t go anywhere and neither can they. They can tell when something is bothering you nor you are lying or anything else like that. Each person becomes transparent before the other person.
This can be a great thing, but it can also be bad because far too often we …try to impress people and be something that we are not. Then we just end up looking like liars anyway and make a fool of ourselves. This is how it works a lot of times in our churches today. We just time to pretend that everything is going great in life and that we have the perfect little family.
We just put on a mask and pretend to be something that we are not just to impress everyone else. We are afraid to get close to anyone because we are afraid that they might find out our families dirty little secrets. So that hinders our personal walk with the Lord and it hinders us from being the living, breathing, organism called the body of Christ.
God has called each and every believer to be a part of His body and to be transparent before Him and each other, so that we might bare one another’s burdens. This was how it was in prison and how it should be in our everyday life. So I wrote this song about becoming transparent and being Renewed in the Spirit of Your Mind putting on the new man who Christ has made you to be. The Scriptures that inspired this song are — Ephesians 2:10, 4:23-24, and John 6:68. ~Brian Allen~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?
I write this just because of simple reason: Everywhere in the world there are so called miracle cures for cancer (these vary from legal ones to illegal and so on). These kinds of solution are said to cure cancer during a single day.
This kind of advertising helps the makers of such „solutions“ earn a lot of money but it does not help the patient in any way, shape or form.
Science should be trusted . Of course there are still some questions science can’t answer but one thing is sure: THERE ARE DIFFERENT FORMS OF CANCER AND THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL CURE.
HOW DOES CANCER APPEAR
Cancer appears when genes that control the life cycle of a cell change(mutate). Every cell has it’s own life cycle. After it has been born it can do certain functions before eventually dying. It can also divide itself to form new cell and so on. This is a very controlled process. Genes are meant to control this process. When some of this genes change cancer is formed.
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THESE GENES
There are many of them and all of these genes have different functions:
-control of intercellular communication
-transfer of information
-some of them are structural
-some of them are ment to fix broken parts of DNA(damage control)
-some of them tell the cell when to divide
DIFFERENT GENES, DIFFERENY FORMS OF CANCER- THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL CURE OR SOLUTION. EVERY CASE OF CANCER IS UNIQUE
Dr. Sebi Nutritional Guide – Mucus Reducing Alkaline Diet
The herbalist Dr Sebi inspired this mucus reducing alkaline diet, which is made up of non-hybrid alkalizing plant foods.
These foods control the acid level in the body, which protects against harmful mucus buildup that compromises organs and leads to the development of disease.

THE ROOT CAUSE OF CANCER – Noble prize Winner Dr. Otto H Warburg . Dr. Warburg has devoted his life to study the causes of cancer. Warburg was awarded the 1931 prize, not for the cancer work, but for his work on cell respiration.
“All normal cells …. have an absolute requirement for oxygen, but cancer cells can live without oxygen – a rule without exception. “Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it may become cancerous.” Dr. Warburg also has made it clear that the root cause of cancer is oxygen deficiency, which creates an acidic state in the human body. Dr. Warburg also discovered that cancer cells are anaerobic (do not breathe oxygen) and cannot survive in the presence of high levels of oxygen, as found in an alkaline state.
Biochemist Otto Heinrich Warburg, one of the twentieth century’s leading cell biologists, discovered that the root cause of cancer is too much acidity in the body, meaning that the pH, potential hydrogen, in the body is below the normal level of 7.365, which constitutes an “acidic” state. Warburg investigated the metabolism of tumours and the respiration of cells and discovered that cancer cells maintain and thrive in a lower pH, as low as 6.0, due to lactic acid production and elevated CO2. He firmly believed that there was a direct relationship between pH and oxygen. Higher pH, which is Alkaline, means higher concentration of oxygen molecules, while lower pH, which is acidic, means lower concentrations of oxygen …. the same oxygen that is needed to maintain healthy cells.
In 1931 he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for this important discovery. Doctor Warburg was director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute (now Max Planck Institute) for cell physiology at Berlin. He investigated the metabolism of tumours and the respiration of cells, particularly cancer cells. Below are some direct quotes by Dr. Warburg during medical lectures where he was the keynote speaker:
“Cancerous tissues are acidic, whereas healthy tissues are alkaline. Water splits into H+ and OH- ions, if there is an excess of H+, it is acidic; if there is an excess of OH- ions, then it is alkaline.”
In his work The Metabolism of Tumours Warburg demonstrated that all forms of cancer are characterized by two basic conditions: acidosis and hypoxia (lack of oxygen). Lack of oxygen and acidosis are two sides of the same coin: where you have one, you have the other.” “All normal cells have an absolute requirement for oxygen, cancer cells can live without oxygen – a rule without exception. Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it may become cancerous.”
Dr. Warburg has made it clear that the root cause of cancer is oxygen deficiency, which creates an acidic state in the human body. Dr. Warburg also discovered that cancer cells are anaerobic (do not breathe oxygen) and cannot survive in the presence of high levels of oxygen, as found in an alkaline state.

The Only Way to Defeat Cancer?
The solution is very simple to understand. High school education is enough to understand. You just need common sense and logical think to understand that this is the only way we can beat cancer and save life.
All cells of our body need energy to survive. There are two major energy processes, respiration and fermentation. Most cells in our body also have the abilities of both fermentation and respiration. Glucose is major universal fuel of our body. In respiration, with oxygen participation, glucose is converted to carbon dioxide and water. In fermentation, without oxygen participation, glucose is converted to lactate.
What is the difference between normal cell and cancer cell? (Heiden, et al. Understanding the Warburg Effect: The Metabolic Requirements of Cell Proliferation. Science 324, 1029 (2009))
Since 1920’s, eighty years ago, people have known that normal cells (differentiated cells) mainly depend on respiration, while cancer cells mainly depend on fermentation. Not all cells mainly depending on fermentation divide. But all cells mainly depending on respiration do not divide.
There are many and various reasons of cancer, genes, pathways, etc. The most profound, obvious, and significant difference is that differentiated cells (normal cells) mainly depend on respiration; while cancer cells mainly depend on fermentation. Dr. Otto Warburg first reported this in 1920’s. Not all cells, mainly powered by fermentation, divide. All cells are, mainly powered by respiration, do not divide. Increasing cancer cell respiration will stop cancer cell dividing.
How to increase cell respiration?
Increasing mitochondria respiration. In human cell, respiration is in mitochondria. Mitochondria respiration is suppressed when cells divide (cancer cell and other dividing cells). Cell division could be the reason of mitochondria suppression. Cells have adapt this since the beginning of the cell.
Increasing non-mitochondria respiration. Aerobic bacteria without mitochondria have non-mitochondria respiration ability. Cancer cell has high oxidative stress, which has advantage to use non-mitochondrial respiration. Giving proper substances of respiration to cancer cell, cancer cell will be destroyed.
What does cancer like? Because cancer mainly depends on fermentation, cancer cells take more sugar than normal cell. Cancer likes sugar. PET Scan is based on this. What will happen if we give cancer a sugar, cancer has to use it for respiration? The sugar is erythrose. Erythrose beats cancer.
Cell Culture with Erythrose
Cancer cell lines (lung, brain, breast, etc.) die with ~4mM (500mg/L) erythrose in 24 hrs.
For normal cell lines viability, up to 30mM erythrose, it has similar result as glucose. Human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) and Human Dermal Fibroblasts (HDF) have been tested.
Erythrose is very similar to glucose for our cells, but kills cancer. Energy is essential for all cells in our body. Technology can deliver the 4mM erythrose to anywhere in our body. Cancer will be destroyed. The side effects could be as short-term diabetes, manageable and reversible.
Cancer cells die with enough erythrose, the concentration is well below similar small molecules our body can tolerate. Using Erythrose treat cancer is doable, and will be workable.
Cancer, undifferentiated dividing cells, lack of respiration by complex genetic and biochemical reasons. Cancer cells have to use Erythrose for respiration to differentiate, and die. Erythrose beats cancer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?
Cortisol was demonstrated to be a muscle-catabolic factor inducing rapid release of amino acids from muscle. Glucocorticoids stimulate overall lipolysis at the whole-body level, however, glucocorticoids may specifically inhibit abdominal lipolysis because chronic hypercortisolemia secondary to Cushing’s syndrome is characterized by distinct abdominal obesity. Recent data point toward cortisol-induced increase of visceral fat on the basis of visceral 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydro … genase type 1 availability. Thereby, cortisol would support lipolysis and re-allocation of lipids to visceral stores elsewhere.
Cortisol is an important stimulator of glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis in the liver. Cortisol inhibits bone formation by blocking osteoblasts , decreasing osteocalcin levels, and interfering with several other pathways. Cortisol supports insulin resistance so that energy-rich substrates cannot be taken up into muscle, liver, and fat tissue.
In conclusion, cortisol via many independent pathways belongs to the network of energy-expenditure hormones, an increase of which leads to rapid allocation of energy-rich fuels to the immune system. However, a program with long-term elevation of cortisol is not positively selected, because of the danger of immunosuppression. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pm
Stress produces a variety of cellular changes, including the production of the “shock proteins.” These proteins can make up 20% of the cell’s total protein content. In themselves, the shock proteins are immunosuppressive. They can be recognized by the immune system as antigens, and so are a factor in the appearance of “autoimmune” antibodies.
The auto-antibodies themselves are often blamed for the diseases they are sometimes associated with, however, since they can be present (for example, following removal of the spleen) in people who have no symptoms, their function is probably to facilitate the removal of tissues which are defective for some other reason. The shock proteins could be one of the signals that activate the immune system to remove damaged tissue, and they might be involved in the removal of senescent cells, though …. I don’t think any experiments have been done to test this idea.
Besides activating the cells to produce massive amounts of the shock proteins, stress can also activate the so-called hormone receptors, such as estrogen receptors, even in the absence of the hormones. Stress also activates the endonucleases, which cut sections out of the DNA molecules, activates mobile genetic elements, producing geneticin stability. Like cortisol and estrogen, stress itself activates integrated retroviruses. The “endogenous retroviruses” make up nearly 10% of the human genome, and many of them locate themselves in regulatory sites in the chromosomes.
Since stress lowers the discriminatory ability of the immune system, and stimulates the expression of retroviruses, also the antibodies sometimes seen in association with immunodeficiency may be similar to the various autoantibodies that are also produced by stress.

Here’s our list of the Greatest ways to decrease stress right now.
1. Try progressive relaxation. All the way from fingers to toes—tense and then release each muscle group in the body (lower arm, upper arm, chest, back and abdominals, etc.). Once the body is relaxed, the mind will be soon to follow.
2. Try some light yoga. The combination of deep breathing techniques and poses makes this activity work to reduce stress.
3. Meditate. The “mental silence” that goes along with meditation may have positive effects on stress (especially work-related stress)
4. Breathe deep. Taking a deep breath has been shown to lower cortisol levels, which can help reduce stress and anxiety . Studies suggest deep breathing can also cause a temporary drop in blood pressure
5. Spark some scents. Studies suggest aromatherapy can be a good way to relieve stress. Certain aromas (like lavender) have been consistently shown to reduce stress levels .
6. Listen to music. Research points to multiple ways in which music can help relieve stress, from triggering biochemical stress reducers to assisting in treating stress associated with medical procedures.
7. Laugh it off. Laughter can reduce the physical effects of stress (like fatigue) on the body .
8. Drink tea. One study found that drinking black tea leads to lower post-stress cortisol levels and greater feelings of relaxation .
9. Exercise. That post-exercise endorphin rush is one way to sharply cut stress.
10. Try guided visualization. Visualizing a calm or peaceful scene may help reduce stress and ease anxiety .
11. Join a religious community. Surveys have shown a major underlying reason people practice religion is for stress relief. One study even found that college students who practiced a religion were less stressed than their non-religious counterparts. And other research suggests religious people are less likely to experience stress-related mental illness.
12. Chew gum. Studies suggest the act of chewing gum can reduce cortisol levels, helping to alleviate stress .
13. Get a massage. Getting a good ol’ rub down may do more than alleviate physical pain. Studies suggest massage may also be beneficial for fighting stress. It may also help improve body image .
14. Try self-hypnosis. Research suggests hypnosis can help reduce anxiety. Plus, it’s a great self-mediated technique for stress-relief. 15. Talk About sex, Baby. Studies have shown sex can actually decrease the physical symptoms of stress, like lowering blood pressure.
16. Take a nap. Napping has been shown to reduce cortisol levels, which aids in stress relief .
17. Hug it out. Hugging may actually reduce blood pressure and stress levels in adults.
18. Hang with your pet. Or, as we’ve put it before, just get a dog. Dog owners have been shown to be less stressed out—most likely thanks to having a buddy to cuddle .
19. Do an art project. Art therapy can potentially reduce stress-related behavior and symptoms .
20. Write it out. Keeping a journal may be one way to effectively relieve stress-related symptoms due to its meditative and reflective effects. A gratitude journal can really help us put things in perspective, so pick a time every day to write down a few things that make you happy.
21. Take a walk. A quiet, meditative stroll can do wonders for stress relief, especially when we step outdoors. Try not to rush, and take whatever pace feels most natural.
22. Kiss someone! Research suggests kissing releases chemicals that ease hormones associated with stress, like cortisol. Forming positive relationships is also a key way to help reduce stress and anxiety.
23. Don’t write a list of the top 23 ways to reduce stress!
The thyroid gland plays an important part in the endocrine system. The thyroid gland provides the body with a way of regulating its internal “furnace,” as well as ways of speeding up or slowing down basic metabolism. In our practice, we do not stop after getting proper blood tests for thyroid hormones. We also test other organs, glands, and hormones that affect the thyroid. This is important for many of my patients who complain about a wide variety of problems such as thinn…ing hair, constipation, cold hands, cold feet, irritability, anxiety or depression, fatigue, infertility, exhaustion, moodiness, brain fog, weight loss or weight gain, and infertility or who have an autoimmune condition.
The scope of the thyroid’s importance in the body is huge. By doing proper blood testing on the thyroid gland and other body system relating to thyroid system, you will get to the actual cause of your condition. We don’t just guess about our clients’ health. We take a comprehensive history, perform a physical exam, and run the necessary diagnostic testing in order to determine the client’s individual chemistry and the impact of their chemistry on their thyroid condition. Only then can we direct them to the proper healthy lifestyle changes, dietary changes, nutritional support, and herbal support that will help balance their thyroid chemistry and make them feel better.
We want you to think about about your own situation, about the times the doctor told you your lab results were not “bad enough to treat” or your TSH was normal even when your thyroid symptoms made you feel bad. We want to give you an alternative to the “watch-and-wait” approach conventional medicine often uses. We believe our “information-rich” approach could send you on an incredible journey to health.

Emerging evidence indicates that cancer is primarily a metabolic disease involving disturbances in energy production through respiration and fermentation. Cancer is suppressed following transfer of the nucleus from the tumor cell to cytoplasm of normal cells containing normal mitochondria.
These findings indicate that nuclear genetic abnormalities cannot be responsible for cancer despite commonly held beliefs in the cancer field. The genomic instability observed in tumor cel…ls and all other recognized hallmarks of cancer are considered downstream epiphenomena of the initial disturbance of cellular energy metabolism.
The disturbances in tumor cell energy metabolism can be linked to abnormalities in the structure and function of the mitochondria. Cancer growth and progression can be managed following a whole – body transition from fermentable metabolites, primarily glucose and glutamine, to respiratory metabolites, primarily ketone bodies.
This transition will reduce tumor vascularity and inflammation while enhancing tumor cell death. A novel “press-pulse” therapeutic strategy is in development for the non-toxic metabolic management of cancer. Malignant brain cancer in preclinical models and humans will be used to illustrate general concepts.
As each individual is a unique metabolic entity, personalization of metabolic therapy as a broadbased cancer treatment strategy will require fine-tuning to match the therapy to an individual’s unique physiology. https://www.youtube.com/watch?

Disease is any failure of normal physiological function that leads to various negative symptoms in the body. While disease is all to often a result of infection or injury, most diseases involve the disruption of normal homeostasis. Positive and negative feedback are important for normal physiological function, and anything that prevents feedback from working could lead to disease and if the mechanisms of disruption become strong enough.
Aging is a general example of disease as a result homeostatic imbalance. As an organism ages, problems with homeostasis gradually results in an unstable internal environment that increases the risk for illness and is responsible for the physical changes associated with aging. Besides illness, aging can cause death.
The human body is a finely tuned mechanism that relies on chemical components to maintain a constant state of balance. This state of being in balance is called homeostasis. If one or more of these chemicals fall out of balance from either an increase or a decrease in their levels, this may cause the systems of the body to work less efficiently. Chemical imbalances can occur for a number of reasons and may affect the body in a variety of ways.
Serotonin
Insulin
Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas that opens up microscopic pathways and allows glucose to enter the cells. At normal levels, enough insulin is produced and used by the body to allow adequate glucose to be absorbed by the cells for energy. If levels begin to drop, diabetes may be the result.
Type 1 diabetes occurs when the body’s immune system backfires and destroys cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. According to the Mayo Clinic, this can result in little or no insulin, allowing glucose to build up in the bloodstream.
Type 2 diabetes is the result of cells resisting the insulin that is produced. The cells do not allow insulin to open the pathways to let glucose in. The pancreas produces more insulin due to the rising levels of glucose in the blood, but the cells are not receptive and glucose levels continue to rise.
Pituitary Hormone Imbalances
The pituitary gland is a small gland located at the base of the brain. It produces hormones that regulate blood pressure, growth and some aspects of the reproductive system. In rare cases, hypopituitarism occurs, which is the result of decreased levels of pituitary hormones. This can cause disruptions in normal body function like blood pressure and heart rate.
According to the Mayo Clinic, the over-production of pituitary hormones results in a disorder known as acromegaly. This can result in production of abnormal amounts of growth hormone. Acromegaly is characterized by certain areas of the body becoming larger than normal and out of proportion with the rest of the body. This excess growth usually appears in the hands, feet and face. Acromegaly usually occurs in middle age after most growth has normally stopped. If an abundance of growth hormone is present during adolescence, gigantism may result.
Metabolic Imbalances
A person’s metabolism sets the stage for his weight, appetite and energy levels. An underactive thyroid that produces little thyroid hormone can cause heart disease, fatigue and obesity, according to the Mayo Clinic. A thyroid that produces too much hormone can make it difficult for a person to maintain a healthy weight.
Disorders that cause the adrenal glands to produce too much cortisol can cause a person to gain weight in the abdominal area of the body. This is called Cushing’s syndrome. Other disorders cause the body to produce lower than normal levels of cortisol. Cortisol helps to maintain blood pressure, blood glucose levels and energy levels.
Reproductive System Imbalances
Chemical imbalances in the reproductive system can cause infertility and low sex drive in both men and women. Low levels of estrogen and testosterone can affect sexual performance and cause fertility to be questioned.
High levels of testosterone in men can cause aggression and an overabundance of muscle mass. In women, high levels of testosterone can cause male pattern baldness and excessive hair growth on the face and chest. It can also cause the voice to deepen and become more masculine.
Low levels of estrogen in women can affect menstrual periods as well as the woman’s ability to get pregnant and carry the child to term. Excessive amounts of estrogen are thought to cause breast and other types of cancer in women, according to Merck.
Prevention and treatment of cancers like breast and prostate can be done with minerals such as iodine, selenium, magnesium, zinc and maganese. Alternative treatment is what is best and what actually works in the cancer game. Chemotherapy and radiation break the body down and what is needed to relieve ourselves from cancer is having a strong body. Strong bodies and minds are the foundation of good health. All traditional treatments from the medical community cause a worse physical stat…e in the body and are not productive at providing a healthy mind. A good emotional state is important to really stopping cancer.
Prayer, regular and consistent are vitally important as well. Simple prayers like, God please help me to do this thing, can give the person that extra kick that sends them into real healing. Minerals will also help the body to fend off other illness and disease. I would not believe any source that tells us that vitamins or minerals increase the risk of cancer. This is propaganda which is used to frighten us. If we believe it we are the ‘blind following the blind”. The authorities and specialists do not have the first idea of what it takes to naturally rid the body of excess cancer cells.
One needs to remember that the body can handle a certain amount of cancer cells. It is the overload that is the problem. It is the imbalance that will occur if the body is deficent in minerals that the problem will begin. The body always defends itself against cancer cells if it has the minerals which are the ‘immune system’. Minerals plus people = no cancer. This is an equation that always works. It can not help but work.
As an example I use the mineral iodine from a regular drug store source, but I use it most regularly. And magnesium from Epsom Salts. That is something I use every day, only missing a day here or there. If calcium is used it must be a reputable source and someone better know what they are talking about if one uses calcium. I don’t touch it. ~~~ Nancy Gurish ~
When a cancer patient does chemotherapy it brings on…
The Tumor lysis syndrome: When cancer cells are killed by therapy, they may spill their inner (intracellular) contents, which accumulate in the body faster than can be eliminated. These excess intracellular contents cause the metabolic and electrolyte disturbances that result in tumor lysis syndrome (TLS). TLS can result in life-threatening complications if not managed appropriately. If TLS is untreated, its progression may cause acute kidney failure, cardiac arrhythmias, seizure…s, loss of muscle control or death.
Some patients with TLS may have initial symptoms including:
◾Nausea and vomiting
◾Joint discomfort
◾Shortness of breath
◾Irregular heartbeat
◾Lethargy
◾Cloudy urine
When one does natural protocols and a detox it’s the Herxheimer reaction. It is always about the balance 🏻
🏻
🏻
🏻
The Herxheimer Reaction … What is it?
This reaction occurs when the body tries to eliminate toxins at a faster rate than they can be properly disposed of. The more toxic one’s bodily systems are, the more severe the detoxification, or healing crisis. It is characterized by a temporary increase in symptoms during the cleansing or detox process which may be mild or severe. You may feel worse and therefore conclude that the treatment is not working. But these reactions are instead signs that the treatment is working and that your body is going through the process of cleaning itself of impurities, toxins and imbalances.
Such reactions are temporary and can occur immediately — or within several days, or even several weeks, of a detox. Symptoms usually pass within 1-3 days, however, on rare occasions can last several weeks. If you are suffering from a major illness, the symptoms you experience during the healing crisis may be identical to the disease itself. Sometimes discomfort during the healing crisis is of greater intensity than when you were developing the chronic disease.
This may explain why there may be a brief flare-up in one’s condition. Often the crisis will come after you feel your very best. Also Most people feel somewhat ill during the first few days of a cleanse. Because it is at this point …. that your body dumps toxins into the blood stream for elimination. With a more serious condition there may be many small crises to go through before the final one is possible. In any case, a cleansing & purifying process is underway, and stored wastes are in a free-flowing state.
Cause:
The healing crisis is the result of every body-system, in concert, working to eliminate waste products through all elimination channels and set the stage for regeneration. The end result: old tissues are replaced with new. When any treatment or cleansing program causes a large scale die-off of bacteria, a significant amount of endotoxins (toxins within the bacteria itself) are released into the body.
The more bacteria present, and the stronger their endotoxins, the stronger the cleansing reaction. When any treatment or detox causes the organs of the body (particularly the liver, which is a storehouse of drug and poison residues) to release their stored poisons and toxins, a cleansing reaction may occur. Any program, such as fasting, which causes a rapid breakdown of the fat cells (which are a storehouse for toxins), can cause a healing crisis as toxins previously lodged in the fat cells are released into the blood stream.
Symptoms:
The healing crisis will usually bring about past conditions in whatever order the body is capable of handling at that time. People often forget the diseases or injuries they have had in the past, but are usually reminded during the crisis. There are a wide variety of reactions that may manifest during a healing crisis, the most common are:
Increased joint or muscle pain
Diarrhea
Extreme fatigue and/or its opposite, restlessness
Cramps
Headache (believed to be caused by buildup of toxins in the blood)
Aches, Pains
Arthritic flair up
Insomnia
Nausea
Sinus congestion
Fever (usually low grade) and/or chills
Frequent urination and/or urinary tract discharges
Drop in blood pressure
Skin eruptions, including: boils, hives, and rashes.
Cold or flu-like symptoms
Strong emotions: anger, despair, sadness, fear, etc.
Suppressed memories arise
Anxiety
Mood swings
New phobias develop
Easing Your Way Through the Healing Crisis:
Drink plenty of fresh water (especially water), also juices, and herbal teas to flush the body of toxins. Some professionals recommend distilled water as the best. And drink from 2 to 4 quarts (liters) per day. This will help flush the toxins out of your system and speed along the detoxification.
If you are feeling fatigued, or sleepy, your body is talking to you, and telling you to rest. Be kind to yourself, and get the rest that you need.
Symptoms frequently disappear immediately after a good bowel movement, use an enema to provide relief.
For other symptoms, meditation, EFT, acupuncture or a good massage might be helpful to speed up the healing process, and reduce the discomfort.
And, on rare occasions, a reduction of the dosage or temporary cessation may be required.
Important: Always ensure your health by having a thorough medical check up: don’t assume that if you have any of the above symptoms that you are in a healing crisis: you may not be in a healing process, you may have a medical health problem.

Juggling LIFE
Life’s Imbalances
Be cautious, and be alert concerning your excessive desires; see – to – it that they are proper and in balance if you hope to be happy and prosperous in the Lord. Excessive and careless desires can create an imbalance in life that will short-circuit the connection with the power that stabilizes our life in harmony with our inner spirit and outward environment.
Excessive desires burden the spirit with empty substitutes that will not enrich your life—substitutes that sap your love-energy by enslaving you with nonessential expense and time consuming burdens that do not add substantially to your happiness.
Spending too much energy on the nonessentials will consume prayer time, time for benevolence, and time to give our fair share of support to our society and environment. Our lives can become so cluttered with nonessentials that the energy producing essentials vanish unaware.
Prayer time is energy-receiving time; this time can be fulfilled in various ways: mediation, worship, communication with Yahweh, praise (in music, songs or otherwise), or in Bible study. If all these circuits are shut off, the body’s only recourse is to depend on earthly power.
In Ephesians 2:1-7, Paul encourages the believers, saying, “And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath (desire), even as others.
“Yahweh, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ (by grace ye are saved;), And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Yasha: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Yasha.”
If we return to the beggary elements of the world after we have become connected with the Life-force, the body becomes totally out of balance.
Excessive noise around us can also short-circuit our spirit connection to Life-energy by cluttering and confusing the brain nerves with negative vibrations. This soon starves the soul of vital energy. Our life gradually becomes stressful and chaotic; excess clutter will have created a destructive imbalance in our spirit-energy.
People who short-circuit their Life-energy wreck their lives without knowing they are responsible. The unhappier they become, the more they grasp for material things, new human relationships, and the worldly entertainment to fill the vacuum created by their spirit’s imbalance. This is comparable to an alcoholic seeking liquor to stop himself from staggering and falling. If people, who have experienced a spiritual awakening, allow their spirit to starve, that is, if they do not awaken to the real problem, and the body becomes afflicted—they grow old too quickly and die prematurely.
We must create order in our lives; each of us must bear this responsibility. Consider every time – consuming or money – consuming thing in your life. Remember that you or another individual has invested life – hours into making the money you are spending. Are your investments worthwhile investments? Are they worth the price you pay and the time you give to them? You cannot cheat on balance. You will either balance your life or you will suffer from the imbalance.
We are living in an age of imbalance. Parents create imbalances in the home that are nonproductive of Life-vibrations. In desperation, the children create misery for themselves, for their parents, and for society in their search for Life – giving Spirit vibrations. Their life-starved spirits send them searching for soul food. But they have no idea where to look or what they are hungering for; they have been sent out into the world empty.
Children that are deprived of soul food …. while growing up often wind up in rebellion against their parents and society, and many of them in their confusion and resentment turn to liquor, drugs, and/or perversion. Too many Christians send an unspoken message to their children that soul food is only for the adult world. This is so sad because children need to learn early in life how to replenish their spirit’s supply.
Excessive desires are foreign to the individual who understands his spirit relationship to his Body and to the energy that sustains his Body, which is expressed to us by the word “love.” Divine Love (unadulterated Spirit-love) is the only energy that supports and sustains the Body properly.
Nonessentials come through many avenues. For example, in families with low-income, material excesses, such as expensive cars, demands higher taxes, higher insurance, higher monthly payments, and upkeep, which can easily create a stressful imbalance. We must have transportation, but choosing a mode of transportation that is not compatible with our budget can add unnecessary stress and worry. If the payments are out of balance with our budget, our whole life can become chaotic and almost unbearable. It can sap our time by demanding stressful hours of laboring overtime.
Working overtime or trying to hold down two jobs will replace our prayer time, family time, and the time we need to rest and relax. It leaves us no time for community projects, social involvement, or an act of benevolence. When excessive desires create an imbalance in our lives, it often leads to confusion, infidelity, divorce, drug abuse, disease, or even suicide.
An excessive desire for elaborate housing can place the same stressful demand on our bodies. When we cannot stretch the dollar to cover our excess spending, the first things that are sacrificed is our church support, alms deeds, and family time, which are all essential to balance.
Any desire that saps the time we have to rejuvenate our temple is categorized as excess. This can include our fascination for social events, for entertaining those people, especially children, excessive desire to be entertained, slothfulness, excess travel, excessive appetite, excessive drinking, reading, computer, computer games, and especially television, and sports.
A word of warning, you may spend only thirty minutes on world news, which seems insignificant, but if in that half hour, you have received information that troubles your mind with negative vibrations for the rest of the day; you have robbed your spirit of its positive energy. This same stress … that can be produced through a negative telephone conversation, a movie that is geared to touch your emotions, or a visit from a negative friend. Learn how to detect the negative inputs and work on methods of coping with them, or if possible, avoid them altogether.
Another pit we can fall into is trying to help a rebellious and confused person who drags us down into their confusion. If we cannot maintain our integrity and keep our peace, we will be sapped by our benevolent endeavor and our work will be fruitless.
If we cannot maintain a balance in our own life, we need to back off and remove the clutter so that we may become fruitful in our labors. Stressful labor does not produce a work of faith. Positive faith produces sufficient energy to protect us against the stress of a Spirit initiated project.
Anything that is not of faith is sin even though we sacrifice greatly in our effort to do flesh works. If we feel we are doing what the Lord wants us to do, we will be at peace. When we began to be uptight and start to fret, our flesh has taken over and we have lost touch with our Spiritual Guide or we have become rebellious—we are no longer working by faith.
Each person is unique; therefore, do not assume your balance is the perfect pattern for the lives of others. And do not attempt to fit your life pattern into the mold of another individual; though their order of balance may work well for them, it could be chaotic for you.
Some folks replenish their spiritual strength by a continuous communication with the Lord on the job; others may require a quite place to communicate. It does not matter how we keep the balance as long as we – do – not create a stressful atmosphere that deprives others and ourselves of precious Life-energy.
If you have never been aware of your spirit’s need for a strong energy flow, you will surly be pleasantly surprised when you bring your spiritual needs into balance.
When we deprive our spirit of its food supply, we will immediately become aware of the void in our lives. We may become restless, distressed, and sometimes overwhelmed with anxiety and worry.
We must learn to connect our inability to cope with life’s problems with our spirit’s lack of fuel, and then do something about it before our spirit escapes by going into hibernation.

Seven years to say goodbye
Seven years to become a butterfly
The wind your wings left in your wake
The love we shared was not a fake
The tender smiles when spirits were low
Limitless love you would always show
When I was frightened in the night
You made everything alright
Your lungs were damaged from the fray
But it was you who took my breath away
Time we should’ve had was cut in half
I will always remember your belly laugh
As I stand below and watch you fly
Deep in my heart I know this is
not goodbye 6/17/2018 RiP
