Third of April 2006

Being the rarity of sarcoma cancer and some physicians lack of experience    in dealing with this  type of cancer.  Most patients leave  God’s  Green  Earth feeling a victim of circumstance….  a human guinea pig with doubts in their mind when all said and done.    Q&A’s for cancer detailed???

April 4th, 1983  and  just  23  years  ago  Jim  Valvano  lead  his  underdog      N.C. State Wolfpack  to the promise land  by beating  the Clyde Drexler  and Hakeem Olajuwon  Houston team  whom  was  on  a  26 game win streak to a buzzer beater to win the N.C.A.A. National Championship.

It was hard to believe just ten years later when Adenocarcinoma proved to   be the toughest opponent he would face losing his battle. On and off the court Jimmy V was a true living legend and can be remembered by this article from this Sports Illustrated titled:    I’m Fighting To Live.

Prenatal Smoking

Certain criterion states that in cases where mothers who do not smoke  during pregnancy. In their children  1.4 per 1000 children   end up with cancer,  whereas,  the mothers  whom smoke  0.9 per 1000  of those    children  (can you believe  that smokers children  are less  likely to get cancer   versus non smokers children.)

An  The University of Louisville  studied  410 pregnant women  in 1996,   measuring levels  of three tobacco carcinogens  in the mothers  and  their newborns.    The  three carcinogens  measured where  benzo(a)pyrene    (which causes lung and skin cancer),  4-aminobiphenyl    (which causes bladder cancer) and acrylonitrile  (which causes liver cancer.)

This study found levels of these three chemicals were four to five times higher in the passive smokers newborns than in the non smokers infants,   they were 10 to 20 times higher in heavy cigarette smokers babies. In  the United States,  cancer  will be diagnosed each year in an estimated 8,000    children below the age of 15 years old; accounting for about 10 percent             all deaths in childhood.       Miracles for KIDS!!!

What we do know between 1975 and 2002, childhood cancer mortality      has decreased by more than 50%. However, what accounts for 20% of all   these  childhood cancer cases  are  soft cell sarcomas.    Sarcoma cancer           are found in soft tissues of all parts of the body.      http://www.nlmsf.org/

The  soft tissues  of the body including  the muscles,  connective tissues  (tendons), bone, vessels that carry blood or nymph, joints and in body fat.      A lump or swelling  in the part of the body may appear in the person that  does have a  soft tissue sarcoma  (this year alone about  5,000 people  will       be diagnosed with this type of malignancy.)     Helpful Organizations!!!!

This Ain’t No April Fools Joke

Don’t be foolishRadon Gas ain’t a joke and it is a by product of uranium and one should never be so totally convinced it doesn’t happen in their neighborhood. It’s not predominant as some would try and convince you otherwise,  however,  it still can be a silent killer. The amount of radon depends on soil chemistry which varies state to state and house to house.          Anti Cancer Medicine In Broccoli.

A few years ago…. while I was driving to work I listen to an interview on the radio station 700-WLW  The BIG ONE  out of Cincinnati.  They where talking  to Debra Rebensdorf  of   Winchester,   Ohio whom being in her 50s,   neither her or her husband ever smoked  and never dealt directly  with air pollution that was uncommon or worked in a factory setting.

A few years prior…. having built a new house that was tightly insulated like most are today that don’t give the house a chance to breathe. After contracting lung cancer her doctors ask that her house be tested for radon and sure enough the results cameback double digit diplomacy where types of cancer and lung cancer happens mostly.

Play it smartradon is a radioactive gas that comes from natural decay in uranium found in nearly all soils to different levels. It typically seeps into homes through cracks and other holes in the foundations and especially in through sump pumps of basements in both older and newer homes where most are vulnerable to the ignorance of taking it for granted.

Breast Cancer

Even in the holistic perspective on how the body works,  cancer is the ultimate loss of health,  well being and the end result of a long process of cellular and organ breakdown.   The basics of an anti-cancer regime are common to all forms of cancer, and may include  detoxification, intestinal,  nutritional strengthening and upbuilding the immune system.

Over  200,000  new cases  of  breast cancer  are diagnosed each year in women in the United States, while about 1% of that number are diagnosed in men. For the majority of women,  lifestyle changes,  a healthy diet,  cautious use of selected antioxidants, exercise and weight reduction can also  help reduce  the chances of  or preventing breast cancer.

Breast cancer cells,  like all cells,  that initally develope because of defects in the genetic material deooxyribonucleic acid (DNA) of a single cell.  Research  has  shown  5% to 10% of breast cancers are associated with mutations  (detected)  in two genes known as breast  cancer associated  (BRCA)  genes BRCA1 and BRCA2     (Synthetic Estrogen.)

What are your risk factors,  how to prevent  breast cancer  from  ever  entering  into  your world in the first place,  if you’re one of the fortunate…. how to pick the right doctors from such websites as vitals.com  castle connolly.commaster hospital administration  and  the technique defined in this short blog post.        Dr. James Lavelle

Flor-Essence, Essiac Tea & Aloe Vera

The responses I have been receiving is to write magazine style articles, I’ll try, however, to keep it in style to what the majority wants from me.  A list of the items, I have received over time from research, and you can research yourself  (vitamin Cmedicinal mushroom, seleniumbeta – carotene,   calcium,    omega 3’s  to 6 & 9 ratio’s,   along side  Red Clover,   Milk ThistleAstragulus,  Pau d’ArcoBurdock Root  and  Aloe Vera may help reduce  your risk factor of contracting chronic disease.)

Why wait…. until you contract cancer or chronic disease…. why not have a herb recycle program through rountine  that plays a synergistic role  to your health  that impacts and reduces your chances of before it starts.  Flor-Essence  and  Essiac Tea  unlike Aloe Vera has Red Clover and Burdock Root already added….  that are  important blood cleanser’s and self importance given the poisons, toxins in today’s everyday world and the powerful blood purifying actions of both herbs.

We can’t help ourselves because we live in an industrialized nation, however we can help ourself…. long term.  Flor-Essence  does help those that receive the toxins and poisons of chemotherapy…. so why wouldn’t it help those who want to reduce their risk of receiving   toxic overload from eveyday life.  Just think of the benefits that would have on a country that’s cancer rate are skyrocketing out of control and a simple insurance policy of a gentle detox would have on your health.         Aurora Borealis

The American Spirit

I felt this really cool to add to a cancer website…. it’s different and I hope you like.

Thoughout Native America,  Early Discovery  from across the sea, Colonial America and also to the  Settlement of PlymouthSalem witch trials    (Lady Gaga being a bit ahead of her time in this one), Boston Tea Party and  Battle of Bunker Hill this country has endure.

Throughout our Founding Fathers ratification of the Declaration Of Independence and Constitution of these find states. Combined with Valley Forge, Lewis & Clark Expedition, Pony Express, Abe Lincoln envisioning slavery dividing this country at the Mason Dixon Line seperating family and causing the Civil War this country has endured.

Throughout that gap of regrowth which brought us the Wright Brothers (Daytonians)Alexander Graham Bell Thomas Edison,  and  Henry Ford  just before  World War I.    Will Rogersthe Great Depression, F.D.Rs. New Deal while carving Mount Rushmore, building the Alcan HighwayGolden Gate Bridge  and at a time nobody knew him….  a tryant in Germany would  soon invite us into World War II this country has endured.

Throughout the Fabulous FiftiesRoute 66 took us under the Gateway Arch to places  unknowst to anyone ever before us.  Elvis Presley took us through  a new age of Rock n’ Roll  driving muscle cars that’s cool down a New Super Highway, Eisenhower enthralled upon   us that helped us get through the 60’s radicality  of the Beatles RevolutionWith J.F.K. having kept his promise and while  Bob Hope  entertained  the troops in Vietnam this country has endured.

Throughout the 70’s Johnny Carson showed up on late night, Archie Bunker pranced prime time being as popular as S.N.L., with the Fonz and Marsha Brady in bell bottoms    helping get us through Watergate.  Billy Carter took center stage with the ever present Bicentennial Celebration in New York Harbor and with double digit unemployment and inflation rates. Disco being King this country has endured.

Throughout the 80’s Ronald Reagan prevailed with Reaganomics  and  brought the wall down around the Cold War and while his own predecessor liberated Kuwait. While we did managed to escape that Y2K bugged Millenium…. G.W. Bush helped us get past 9=11 and Iraq…. with now AfganistanHealth Care Reform  and high gas prices  this country has   endure the test of time.

Throughout that test of time…. we have always figured out  with American Ingenunity   away to resolve the problem.  Preventing cancer,  before it becomes a burden thus upon   our  health care  system  with the ever increasing  baby boom generation  while eating at   the very fabric of our next generation’s prosperity.  While meandering into something so spectular  causing all these events to vanish…. that this might be our future and I’m  sure this country will again endure the test of time.

There is Karma in the World

You reap what you sow and in the Hunza Valley home to some of the longest live  people on this planet,   and on the  high mountain valley …..  nothing could be further from the truth.  Where the Himalaya, Karakoram,  Pamir’s and  Hindukush all meet their literacy rate of 90%  and virtually every child studies up to at least high school level, while many pursue higher study (high altitude Maca, Quinoa, Coca, Grapes & Wine/Supplement.)

The Hunzan people  longest lifespan  in the world may be trace to the fact that they are highly educated,   their simple  healthy organic diet,  and drinking  from glacial  streams pouring down from the Himalaya’s.  Some Hunzan people live into their 120 to 140 year age bracket virtually in good health and no cancer, degenerative disease, dental caries or bone decay  (maybe the secret is in the mushroom)?????       wikipedia reference.

One never  really knows  for sure when it  comes to people,  however,  the town folk of Vilcabama, Ecuador.   Those Ecuadorians that live in the  High Andes of Ecuador ,  and  some are reported to  live upwards of 140 years ?  (out of a population of  819  the town boasted  that seven men  and two women  where older then 100 years old. Let’s put it in perspective that means there rate of 1,100 centenarians per 1oo,ooo population is quite interesting.

By contrast here in America our three centenarians per 1oo,ooo back in 1970 this pales in comparsion  (we had 7,ooo back then  and our present day rate of 5o,ooo and 315 million)   still doesn’t even come close to that   miraculous ratio.    To meet there rate…. in America our rate would have to be 2,500,000 centenarians.  Even more astonishing is the fact that 11.4% of  Vilcabamians  were over 60 years of age and compares with a rate of only 4.5% elsewhere in rural Ecuador.

If you think that you have to live in the  High Andes of Ecuador   or Himalaya’s  remotely herding goats and growing organic. The Seventh Day Adventist of Loma Linda, California may prove to you  it’s a small world after all.   The Adventist    also enjoy low degenerative disease rates and high life expectancy  (some defy the  United States norms  and live well into their 9o’s and 1oo’s.       Loma Linda University Medical Center

Around 9,ooo Adventist, that live in Loma Linda in San Bernadino County of California; despite the fact that it’s modern,   it’s in the   United States   and it’s even  quite polluted. Being downwind of Los Angeles when 34,000 Adventist enrolled in this 12 year study on diet,  lifestyle and whether it can prevent  illness…. the results released in 1985 created a longevity hot spot ( Secrets of Success ).

It was found that the adventist men could expect to live 7.3 years longer  than the other California men.    Whilst Adventist vegetarian men could expect to live  to 83.3  which is  9.5 years longer.  Adventist women, on the other hand, were more likely to live 4.4 years longer than other  California women  and  Adventist vegetarian women  6.1 years longer     (and with the likelihood of reaching the  Elder Statemen  ripe ole’ age of 85.7 years.)

American Amish versus Native American

This blog about two distinct groups, not only, living amongst us in the Good Ole’ U.S.       of  A.,   but also,   in there own distinct  right.  The first group are the  American Amish     of  Holmes county, in Ohio, and for religious reason   live sectular  within  horse drawn lifestyle.  While living also much  cleaner lifestyle  (  0ne twothree  and  four  )  then most  Americans encounter today and their alternatives  ( one  and  two )?

An  Ohio State University Cancer Study, found  this lifestyle made it more conducive         to half again less ~ chance of obtaining cancer as away of life.   And that ‘s….. NOT BAD,  considering  that their way of  life ~ contains their own  religious belief  that modern day medicine  is an unnessary evil   (put your Faith in God’s Hands) with  home remedy  and  folk medicine   ( one,    two,   threefour  and  five )  and with those  Amish Healers  like   Solomon Wickey  (  onetwothree  and  four ).  < Try Bioinnovations First >#####

Our second secular group hails from Upper Midwest, within one of the poorest sections    of the  United States  at the   Pine Ridge  Indian Reservation  in  Shannon countySouth Dakota.  When I came about case studying this group of people….   I was simply amazed with the disparity of Indian Tribes in America today  (  onetwothreefour  and  five  )   then you start realizing that Native American Cancer Rate   ( onetwothree  and  four )   does run rampart today.      Courage  Ride     (  one  &   two  ).

Realizing  lifestyle choices  play enormous risk factors in contracting the disease,  even though, they practice the Art of Medicine with many similarities of the Amish and with  distinct disparities with the out ~ come of both groups.  With  some  of the Alternative Medicine ( one, two, three four and five ) bloodroot black salve (one,  two  and  three)   they practice being old~remedy  ( one, two three four  and  five ) and hydrotherapy.        The  University of Minnesota captured vast disparity with that of modern day America,  and USA Today found there own renown Native American Doctor that’s eqiulavent to Solomon Wickey  (that’s weird?)
