Breast, Brain, Bone & Bladder Cancer

Breast Cancer: estrogen tell cells to grow – grow while progestrone, on     the other hand, counteracts the estrogen stimulation;  while  encouraging  the cell to mature and die on time.  Damaged  breast  tissue  that  receives   this message  from estrogen without progesterone’s ‘balancing influence‘    is the perfect setup  for the many reproductive cancers.  The Story of  Nine!!!  http://envirocancer.cornell.edu/factsheet/general/fs10.estrogen.cfm

What the F@#- is Cancer and Why Does Everybody have It?                                             Allison W. Gryphon  ~  Breast Cancer Survivor Battle

In less than  5%  of  all breast cancer cases  genetics plays a significant        role,  while those carrying the BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene mutations. These mutations  account  for  up to 90%  of   total genetic influence  with a risk     of  breast cancer of  60 – 80% in those affected.  While being a long – term smoker increases  the  risk  35 – 50%,  with  the role diet playing includes          a  high  fat  diet,  heavy alcohol intake  with  a dietary iodine deficiency       and  obese  nature being a perfect breeding ground.

Also in 2001,  Suzanne Somers  was  diagnosed  with  breast cancer      while having a lumpectomy  and radiation she declined chemotherapy.    Than  again …November 2008,  she was supposedly misdiagnosed with  inoperable  cancer  by  six  doctors.   It  was  during  this  time  that  she interviewed  doctors  about cancer treatments  and  it  became the basis          of  her book; “KNOCKOUT.”   The American Cancer Society is concerned    that  her  tendency  to  over  simplify  medical  message  maybe  deadly?   However,   until  this  day  she  is  still  on  her  crusade  advocating  for  Alternative Medicine with regular guest shots on popular television!!!!

A  study  at  the  Humanitas Cancer Center in Milan, Italy   followed          749 women  at  11  centers  in  Italy;  after surgery alone  or  surgery plus radiation.  The women between  the ages of  55  and  75 years had tumors     2.5 cm  or  less that had not spread.  This study had  found no significant difference in the return rate of  cancer among women in the two groups.

While another 2012 study at the University 0f  Michigan  found 1,446  treated there,  about  70 percent  had  both  their breast removed  after a breast  after  a breast cancer diagnosis. Did  so  despite  a  very  low risk           of  getting cancer in the healthy breast and the researchers said in most cases the decision was driven by  fear of  recurrence.

Through their own  fear of recurrence Susan Gonzalez (Savvy Sister) (Simple   Changes  Through  Healthy  Living),  met  Florence Strang  and wrote the book  “100 Perks of  Having Cancer,”   Florence also put a blog    on  the  internet.  Like “soul sisters”  whom  think  a like…. they both  feel  with small simple changes in your lifestyle you can have a healthy life.

Some  of  the  other nuggets  of  the  truth  they  preach:  are through      power of  positive thinking…. you don’t have to be a victim when breast cancer or any type of  cancer arises.  Through your attitude can dictate          a  “Happy Chemo Smackdown,”   and  realize “if ”  you  don’t  feel  sorry        for  yourself….  through  mindset,   meditation   and   spiritual  exercise  (power of  prayer) can determine your outcome.  Florence and Susan        also co- founded  Cancer Plan 4 Life!!!   Marika Hamilton made a very conscious choice  About Dealing with Healing

Bone Cancer: are rare  forms of  cancer…. about  2,000 cases  per  year       that affects  any bone in the body.  Two common types of  bone cancer are multiple myeloma and bone sarcoma.  Bone cancer can also happen when tumors  starting  in  other  organs,  such  as  the  breast,  kidney,  lung and prostate  metastasize (spread)  to  the  skeletory  system  (which may best   be  tried  to  prevent than treated.)

Multiple myeloma is the most common  type  of  bone cancer.  The  two  most  common  bone sarcomas  are osteosarcoma,  which  developes  in  new tissue  in  growing bones  and  chondrosarcoma  that  developes in cartilage.     Bladder Cancer: tobacco  smoking  is  the  main  contributor  to  urinary bladder cancer,  smoking is associated with over half  of the bladder cancer cases in men  and  one – third  of cases  amongst  women. Thirty  percent  of  bladder tumors  probably result from work place exposures to carcinogens such as benzidine and 2 -Naphthylamine which is found in cigarette smoke.

Also some of the at high risk occupations are bus drivers, truck drivers,   rubber workers,  motor mechanics,  leather workers, blacksmith,  machine setters  and  hair dressers because  of  their frequent exposure  to  hair dyes. The World Health Organization and Advanced Natural Medicine concludes  that  for  a  reduced  risk  of  bladder  cancer,  citrus  fruit,  cruciferous  and  yellow – orange vegetables  particularly carrots  with  their  beta-carotene and  selenium  contented  food  should be a part of  everybody’s diet  for it’s protectant effect   (while supplementing could be detrimental.)
