Taking environmental at school and my teacher explained that “Acid Rain” is a term used to refer to when water/oceans are infected with industrial chemical waste, the sun evaporates that infected water, it builds up in the clouds but is unable to purify itself and eventually–falls back down to earth in the form of “Acid Rains”, now depending on how acidic the water was before evaporation depends, but it’s still extremely bad for plants, trees and other wildlife that needs NORMAL rainwater.
