My father said he survived WW2 because he carried his rosary either in his shirt or pants pocket in Germany. But do you really want to survive a post- Apocalyptic world? I don’t. More important to me is where I will survive eternity… and according to scripture there are only two options… eternally with God … or eternally separated from God.

But I would like to proffer that in addition to bearing collective witness to all the craziness that is out there, the generations alive today are capable of being the most caring and thoughtful version of our species that has ever existed.
Yes, Humanity has made countless mistakes, and yes, there are an untold number of problems that we must fix in order to live in balance with nature – and these are problems we must address quickly. But as James Redfield documented in the Celestine Prophecy, all that is needed to swing the pendulum towards Enlightenment is a Critical Mass of people who are willing to uphold ethical, Spiritual values, and this whole planet will change. When my father was diagnosed with aggressive Melanoma cancer. Our doctors gave us 6 months of life and told us that we don’t have any hope at all. Thanks for starting this page. I went to BioMedical – Hoxsey in 2000 and followed the diet and took the tonic for 5 years and have been cancer free. I think the diet and the tonic really work, but a key ingredient to survive cancer is to be at peace and happy. Sad, angry, fearful, troubled emotions create acidity and feed cancer. I think one of the key reasons it works for some and not others might be their state of mind. Being grateful for everything helps heal. Doing deep breaths inhaling lots of oxygen also is very healing. Going for walks in nature is very healing. Our body is amazing as to how it can heal itself, if we listen to it and give it a chance.

Thank you so much for your post. I am a breast cancer survivor and recently started the tonic to stay in remission. My Oncologist told me to get off of the tonic right away, because of the red clover. He was concerned about it causing estrogen-like effects. Do you know anything about this?

Red Clover on its own does increase estrogen but another ingredient in the formula does cancel that out, I can’t remember which ingredient it is. Regardless, it is always advised to utilize a hormone blocker with Estrogen driven breast cancer. Remember that stress increases Cortisol which increases Estrogen. Reducing your stress level is more important than worrying about the red clover in the Hoxsey Tonic.Hoxsey has been healing from breast cancer since the 1950’s. I met so many women that healed their breast cancer using Hoxsey Tonic back in the 90’s, 80’s and 70’s and back then they weren’t aware of ER+, PR+. HER2+ Triple Negative, etc. but they healed. I feel the over categorization of breast cancer is causing the very stress that is causing the issue. I feel that taking a hormone blocker will only help but they were healing the same cancers for decades without even knowing the hormone issue. Just my observation. She said the studies that looked at red clover’s effect on estrogen were using huge amounts of red clover. October 6, 2022 · Hello. I’ve just been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is supposed to be a rare and aggressive cancer. Has anyone had success using the Hoxsey or any other treatment?I have to get images done to see where I’m at, but they already said they will want to do radiation, surgery and chemo. From what I’ve researched on other groups, chemo/radiation seems like a quick fix, but seems to make it worse and it just comes back and makes you suffer. My instincts are really telling me that the poison is not the way. I’m even unsure about the surgery, though I’m more open to considering it. I’m currently fasting to shrink it, am following Jane Mclelland’s protocol of supplements to starve the cancers metabolism and have an appointment with Care Oncology to take their protocol which will take it further. I also plan to do mistletoe and high dose vitamin C IV.This cancer is so rare, I haven’t seen any success stories yet and not one person has tried the natural route. Part of me wonders if it’s the chemo that destroys the body and prevents real healing. I may consider it and fast first for a better outcome. But they said they want me to do high-dose chemo + 6 weeks of radiation and that does not sound like a good idea to me.I am determined to survive and would love to hear from Rhabdomyosarcoma or sarcoma survivors in general. Bus fare is $5.00 a day for anywhere u want to go. We crossed the Border into Mexico walking and got a $3.00 Uber to the Clinic. Super Easy. We did not bring my friend’s husband who had Cancer because he was too weak and too ill to travel.
Tammy Mac You will hear lots of suggestions…. choose what works best for you i.e.: convenience, walking, border crossing traffic. The first time I was taken to the Clinic by Lance Jordan. Quick ride there but a few hours in border traffic on the way back. This last time I rented a car at the Alamo airport, Alamo $23 a day. I Stayed at Best Western Seven Seas San Diego on a hotel circle, 5 minutes from the airport. It was $88 a night. I found the room perfectly clean and would stay there again. There are 20 or so hotels all next to each other so why pay double for the Marriott next door. They are all situated on the same road, same view. Drove to a parking lot in San Ysidro. $8 all day. Took less than 5 minutes to go through the border check and enter Mexico.

Past statements said the star was dealing with unexplained muscle spasms, and in a new emotional video, Dion gave her latest health update, revealing that those symptoms have led to a diagnosis: she has a rare neurological disorder called Stiff-Person Syndrome (SPS).

I miss seeing all of you, being on the stage—performing for you. I always give 100% when I do my shows, but my condition is not allowing me to give you that right now.”
According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, SPS has features of an autoimmune disease and is characterized by fluctuating muscle rigidity in the trunk and limbs, as well as a heightened sensitivity to stimuli such as noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can trigger muscle spasms. It’s often misdiagnosed as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or fibromyalgia. Researchers are still trying to understand the disorder, and currently there is no cure.
At the end of the video, Dion thanked fans for their patience, love, and support. “I love you guys so much,” she said. “I really hope I can see you again real soon.”

@gommteri I think they already are. I looked up IVIG on the internet, as I was scared out of my mind- thinking my insurance wasn’t going to help cover my treatment. I found a site where you could put your name and questions about treatment. Just prior to this, my neurologist’s nurse told me that my insurance would not cover treatment. I was devastated and thought I would die a painful death.
I found Optum Infusions. I filled out a questionnaire, they called me the next day and received the ok from my insurance in a week! I was shocked! I did have to pay $3,000, insurance is paying the rest. After 5 infusions, and Baclofen & Valium- I am seeing a big difference. I was diagnosed exactly one week before Celine made her announcement. Not sure if that made any difference or not, but I know it didn’t hurt. Many states are making SPS an automatic disability condition. That, in itself, will help many people. I am sorry that you are having such a hard time with this. I believe there are thousands of us who have been misdiagnosed or undiagnosed! Abstract What is known and objective: Stiff-person syndrome (SPS) is an uncommon and disabling disorder characterized by progressive rigidity and episodic painful spasms involving axial and limb musculature. SPS treatment is mostly based on benzodiazepines, baclofen, immunosuppressants and intravenous immunoglobulin. Cannabis derivatives [tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD)] are available as an oromucosal spray (Sativex(®)), indicated as add-on treatment, for symptom improvement in patients with moderate to severe spasticity because of multiple sclerosis (MS). Our objective is to report a case of seronegative SPS successfully treated with THC-CBD oromucosal spray.
Case summary: We report a case of a 40-year-old man presenting with progressive muscle stiffness and intermittent spasms for 6-years. The diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome was based on the clinical features and neuroelectro physiologic findings of continuous motor unit activity. Glutamic acid decarboxylase autoantibodies was absent in our patient, in both serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Cannabis derivatives oromucosal spray was introduced after a series of unsatisfactory traditional medical treatments. After 14 months treated with THC-CBD oromucosal spray, improvement was verified in the eight dimensions of the scale of SF-36 quality of life questionnaire.

It’s been 5.5 years since I was diagnosed with stage 3 estrogen positive breast cancer.

MIND MEDICINE While it is important to fill your body with healthy nutrients and medicine to heal cancer, maintaining an optimistic attitude is equally critical. It is challenging to have a serious cancer diagnosis, the mind can latch on and create drama! It is far easier to fall into a negative thought pattern than to rise to a positive frame of mind. My goal is to give voice to the fears and doubts that arise and then let release them!
These are the key mental patterns I keep focused on:
Attitude of gratitude: Being grateful Deep faith that this adversity is present for my growth and ultimately to help others. Visualizations & affirmations: Seeing myself healthy, for example, “I am healthy, I am healing.” Reducing stress: I have a choice in every moment how to orient my mind. Having loving people around you that you can lean on is crucial for healing. Support: Asking for help. Yes, it is difficult to ask for help!
We are not meant to be alone. I truly believe that SELF LOVE/ALOHA MA is the key to healing! I talk about the concept of self-love & Aloha Mā in my book. When I stumble onto challenging moments, I get therapeutic & emotional support. It is essentially important to release emotions for the cycle of healing to continue! I have a team of healers I reach out to. Most notably, I would like to mention my dear friend and thriver sister Bethany Webb, who wrote the book ‘My Guru Cancer’. This is a step towards us being able to screen people who are at greatest risk – for example, people over 50 or those who have high blood pressure or do not do exercise – and intervene at an earlier stage to help them reduce their risk.”
For the study, researchers analysed data from the UK Biobank database pinpointed problem solving and number recall as two of the early signs patients could develop dementia. Senior author Dr Tim Rittman, also from the University of Cambridge, said: “People should not be unduly worried if, for example, they are not good at recalling numbers. “Even some healthy individuals will naturally score better or worse than their peers.
But we would encourage anyone who has any concerns or notices that their memory or recall is getting worse to speak to their GP.” People from the UK Biobank data who went on to develop Alzheimer’s scored more poorly compared with healthy individuals when it came to problem solving tasks, reaction times, remembering lists of numbers, prospective memory (our ability to remember to do something later on) and pair matching.
This was also the case for people who developed a rarer form of dementia known as frontotemporal dementia, the researchers found. According to the study, people who on to develop Alzheimer’s were more likely than healthy adults to have had a fall in the previous 12 months.
David Thomas, head of policy at Alzheimer’s Research UK, said: “It is increasingly clear that the best chance to affect the course of the diseases which cause dementia lies in intervening at their earliest stages. “Health services don’t routinely offer the tests needed to detect changes in brain function that happen before symptoms are noticeable, like those alluded to in this study.
“In fact, the NHS is currently unable to guarantee early and accurate diagnosis for people living with dementia – more than a third of people over 65 living with dementia go undiagnosed. He added: “It’s now more important than ever that NHS services reflect our growing understanding of the importance of detection and early diagnosis.
“We must ensure that people with dementia don’t fall through the cracks at a time when treatment or risk-reduction interventions are most likely to be effective.” How to spot the first early signs of dementia and what you can do about the symptoms. It’s well known that memory loss and confusion are a sign of dementia. But scientists are discovering that other subtle – and perhaps surprising – signs can herald the onset of the disease.
These smaller and quieter signs occur in our daily lives, making them fairly easy to identify – if you know what to look out for. With our senses being linked to the brain, it’s not surprising that occurrences, such as those relating to our eyesight or hearing, could be signs of early dementia. However, it is also key to understand that some of these changes, such as mood or occasional moments of forgetfulness, can simply be signs of old age – which are not as concerning. Read below for the quiet, early signs of dementia – and some advice on how to prevent their progression.
What signs and symptoms of dementia should you look out for?
Eye conditions and hearing loss People who develop certain eye conditions are at increased risk of dementia, according to research from 2021. A UK Biobank study of 12,000 midlifers found those with age-related macular degeneration were 25 per cent more likely to develop dementia. Those with cataracts had an 11 per cent increased risk of dementia, and those with diabetes-related eye disease had a 61 per cent per cent heightened risk of dementia. The study follows research from 2021 by the University of Oxford that suggested people who go out for a meal at a noisy restaurant but are unable to hear what their friends are saying may be at an increased risk of developing dementia. The data from the study suggests that age-related hearing loss might be related to the onset of Alzheimer’s and other conditions. “While preliminary, these results suggest speech-in-noise hearing impairment could represent a promising target for dementia prevention,” says Thomas Littlejohns of the Nuffield Department of Population Health at Oxford and a lead author of the study. Katie Puckering is information services manager for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
“There are two reasons for this potential link,” she says.
“The first is that hearing loss might be linked with cellular changes in the brain. But the second is that social isolation has long been known as a risk of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.” Something as simple as having your hearing checked out – and having a hearing aid fitted, if needed, so you can hear the conversations around you – could lower your risk of dementia. This is known as a modifiable risk – that is, one that you can change or control.
In 2017, the Lancet Commission on Dementia found that 12 modifiable risks – one being hearing loss – could lower the number of dementia cases by 40 percent. U.C. BERKELEY —We spend one-third of our lives sleeping, and yet it is only in the last decade or so that scientists have begun to really understand why. Among other things, UC Berkeley sleep researcher Matthew Walker has linked sleep deprivation to psychiatric disorders, obesity, risky behavior, post-traumatic stress disorder, learning and memory loss in old age.
It’s common in midlife to have periods of low motivation, or feeling less sociable than usual,” says Puckering.
“But if you find yourself consistently becoming more confrontational than usual, or regularly snapping at your family, you may want to see a doctor to rule out other conditions including menopause, a mood disorder such as depression, and a thyroid condition or even a vitamin deficiency.” Others in the family may notice these changes before the person themselves.
Not understanding sarcasm or sense of humor “Early signs of dementia include changes to language, behaviors and responses to social cues,” says Hannah Churchill, research communications manager at the Alzheimer’s Society. According to a 2017 report in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, individuals with early dementia laughed less both at their own jokes and other people’s funny comments than those who did not. This followed a 2009 report that, following MRI scans, those with neurodegenerative disease images were less able to recognize sarcasm. “If you find your sense of humor has changed significantly, it might be worth getting some medical advice,” says Puckering.
Forgetting what things are called or what they are for Regularly not being able to remember your own phone number, and finding it hard to organise your own thoughts: both of these may be warning signs. “Much is made of keeping your brain active, doing puzzles and so on,” says Puckering. “But in fact, physical fitness is more important. What’s good for the heart is also good for the brain: 80 percent of our brain is oxygen, and if you starve the brain of oxygen, it won’t do well.” Experts suggest 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise a week, a healthy diet, and keeping conditions such as type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure under control.

Gum disease “The evidence linking oral health or gum disease and an increased risk of cognitive decline or dementia is mixed,” says Churchill. It could simply be that people who have received better dental care during their lifetime may have enjoyed a healthier lifestyle, which tends to be associated with reduced dementia risk. But a growing body of research, including a 2019 study in the Journal of Periodontology, has shown that periodontal (gum) disease and poorly fitting dentures can be a risk factor for dementia. Ensure you stick to basic oral hygiene, brushing your teeth twice a day, with a fluoride-containing toothpaste, see your dentist every six months, and don’t be put off dental procedures.
Change in mood Research from 2011 in the Archives of General Psychiatry showed that symptoms of clinical depression doubled the risk of cognitive impairment in older women and quadrupled it in men – and could even be a precursor to Alzheimer’s. “Scientists have long known that depression and dementia go hand in hand,” says Dr. Cornelia Cremens, assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. “If somebody appears to have the beginnings of dementia and they are depressed, it’s very important to treat their depression, and to treat it as aggressively as possible.” Ask your GP about a referral for talking therapy such as CBT, or, if appropriate, antidepressant medication. Puckering says: “Your GP may tell you you ‘only’ have depression, but it’s important to find a treatment for your distress, whether it’s a mood disorder, or an early sign of dementia.”

Nevertheless, the vital issues of the day pull us together. Conservatives share a common vision for maximizing human freedom and opportunity. They are primed to unite and fight. What’s more, many Americans who do not identify as conservatives share these goals. Any national leader who champions this unifying vision will win the support of a vast swath of centrist America, and will energize conservatives in the process. Soon the only discrimination in our country will be toward the single straight white male.
Here are 12 issues that conservatives have answers for. Together, they make up a platform that a majority of Americans can rally around.
1. Protect Our Vote. Biden slandered voter integrity laws by labeling them “Jim Crow.” Practically his first act of governance was to propose that the federal government take over the conduct of national elections. America deserves better. Close elections are nothing new in America, and as the Supreme Court recognized, fraud has altered the outcome in numerous past elections. Every fraudulent vote cast invalidates the vote of an eligible voter. This imperils democracy. Americans deserve an electoral process they can trust. Reforms intended to ensure election integrity do not disenfranchise voters and, in fact, protect the right to vote and confidence in the fairness and integrity of elections. We know without question that the many vulnerabilities in our current system make election fraud relatively easy to commit and difficult to detect after the fact. It is important to take reasonable, commonsense steps to make it hard to cheat, while making it easy for legitimate voters to vote.
2. Secure Our Border. Biden is an “open borders” president—period. It is not possible to have a nation without secure borders and a lawful and orderly immigration system. Americans are dismayed by the current chaotic conditions created by the rapid implementation of policies that actually encourage illegal immigration rather than preventing it.
Our country is famously “a nation of immigrants.” Americans want new citizens to become part of an American community. They also want safe neighborhoods, to stop the opioid epidemic, and not bankrupt communities with the costs of illegal immigration, all policies under assault by unsecured borders. Americans want strong borders, and also, immigration laws to be enforced like any other law, and to prioritize Americans’ interests above those of illegal aliens.
3. Stop Adding Debt. Biden’s budget and economic policies promise sluggish economic growth and the threat of more inflation. The federal budget is growing far faster than American paychecks and the debt has hit astronomical levels. In the last year alone, every household’s share of the national debt increased by more than $36,000 to nearly a quarter of a million dollars. This madness must stop.
Overspending impedes economic growth. When the government grows too big, and taxes and spends too much, it infringes on liberty and makes it more difficult for families and communities to live the American dream. Rather than wasteful spending, the better plan is to get the economy open and get people back to work.
4. Stand Up to China. Biden is weak on China. That’s a problem. No free nation wants to be a suburb of Beijing. Ultimately, the China challenge is about what kind of world we want to live in. We cherish human rights, a free economy, and freely elected governments. China doesn’t believe in any of those. In fact, it sees freedom as the biggest obstacle to the world it wants. If we don’t defend these equities, it will destroy them.
Holding China accountable for its misdeeds and human rights violations is always the best policy. Otherwise, Beijing will regard America as nothing more than a speed bump to its global ambitions. The most significant and important way to punish the regime for its many misdeeds is to stand up for our own vital interests—pushing back will inflict real damage, humiliation, and punishment on the Chinese Communist Party. That will get its attention.
As an example, to let China go unpunished for its intentional and negligent actions in releasing a pandemic on the world ought to be unthinkable.
5. Don’t Raise Taxes. Stop The Massive Spending Overseas.. Biden has proposed near unprecedented tax hikes. We all know Americans are better off when they can keep more of their own money. Following the historic 2017 tax cuts, Americans experienced increased take-home pay, more job opportunities, and faster wage growth. Unfortunately, these cuts were not permanent.
Taxes will automatically increase on almost all Americans in just a few short years. Biden’s tax increases would just make it worse. America’s tax policy ought to focus on keeping business taxes low and further reducing taxes on Americans’ savings, while also reducing government spending. 6. Stop the Woke. Nothing could be more jarring than Biden endorsing critical race theory, an inherently racist doctrine destructive to our families and communities. And that’s not all. A tidal wave of identity politics has swept America toward resegregation, to politicized curricula that rewrite our history, and to laws that dictate biological males must be allowed to play on women’s sports teams. This tide threatens to entrench division and enforce a new political orthodoxy rather than build unity within our communities.
This is harmful to all Americans. Indeed, our everyday experiences show what really makes us stronger. As Americans have confronted the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic, we have turned to the source of strength that has sustained us through other challenges: our families & communities. These “little platoons” in our communities form the foundation for our self-governance and an antidote to an over-reliance on government intervention.
They represent the kind of America that Americans want. We should be focusing on building families & communities, not on making the nation wards of the government and having Washington dictate how we live our lives.
7. Cut Red Tape. In Biden’s America every facet of American life will be controlled by the government’s massive compendium of do’s and don’ts. While a burden for all, overregulation harms low-income families and fixed-income seniors the most. And already, this ever present administration has displayed an appetite for more, seeking new regulatory controls over energy, transportation, and labor sectors. Using the president’s regulatory power to kill the Keystone XL is just one example. With one pen stroke, Biden destroyed jobs, undermined America’s energy independence, made a decision that is bad for the environment, and pushed fuel prices higher. Unless stopped, the nation’s regulatory burden will crush the freedoms of everyday Americans. Many of the nation’s foundational regulatory statutes were enacted a half-century ago. Thousands of obsolete and redundant rules should be repealed. Regulations that are necessary should be authorized by law, not presidential fiat. They should be efficient. Policymakers should be accountable for how they impact us.
8. Help Us Sleep Safe at Night. Biden could not be more indifferent to America’s security nor more aggressive in using security policy instead to advance progressive pet projects. His first budget shows defense ranks dead last in the president’s priorities. America is not the world’s policeman nor its babysitter. But, America is a nation with global interests. And We must have the capacity to protect them.
That’s what “peace through strength” is all about, a strong military and a government wise enough to avoid reckless military adventures. America can well afford to defend itself. The costs of not providing for the common defense would be far greater. To preserve the peace rather than promote war, America must ensure its military forces are of sufficient size, capability, and readiness to persuade any potential adversary that taking on the United States in an unthinkable idea.
9. Stop Big Tech. Biden sees Big Tech as a tool to control Americans, not businesses to provide goods and services. Big Tech is not inherently bad because it’s big. Americans are justifiably proud our nation remains a competitive, technological superpower, enabling every American to benefit that technology can provide in a free society. Citizens and consumers want and deserve an internet that is an engine of economic growth, one that is safe from malicious criminal activity and serves to enable the free exchange of ideas. Americans expect their constitutional rights of privacy and free speech to be respected.
They also want American technology companies to continue to lead in delivering technological innovation and economic growth. Many Americans, however, are concerned they no longer have control over the information they receive—not when Big Tech platforms use algorithms to screen, prioritize, label, and remove content that is political or policy-related. Americans also want policies and companies that give them reason to trust that tech platforms will stop trying to dictate or limit discourse based on users’ political views and instead allow for substantive, healthy debate.
10. Deliver School Choice. Biden is a vocal opponent of school choice. Nearly 90% of American students attend public schools—and 70% of them were assigned to them. The number of families who can opt out of the neighborhood assignment system is miniscule. The extent to which most American families can select their schools is largely determined by their ability to afford to live within a certain neighborhood.
Many families face the harsh reality that they have no alternative but to send their children to a failing school. The lack of options forces them to compromise on the quality and also safety of their children’s education, with a lifetime of opportunity costs. Also an education system that denies students access to schools that would better serve them and give them the opportunities they deserve is unjust.
Education excellence requires rethinking how public education is structured. School choice options allow students to attend schools that can meet their learning needs, allowing them to develop better both academically and as citizens. Dollars should fund students, rather than systems, following students to schools and learning options that are the right fit for them.
11. Empower Patients, Not Government. Decades of ever-increasing government mandates and bureaucratization have led to rising costs and fewer choices in health care. Biden wants more government health care, no matter how bad and costly it is. The solution is not to outlaw every American’s existing plan and force us all into the same government-run plan against our will.
Government should not get between Americans and their doctors. Instead, Americans should be empowered to get the personalized care they need from the doctors they trust. Americans must be free to control our own health care decisions and dollars, and innovators must be free to deliver care and coverage that meet the diverse needs of individuals and their families, without federal mandates that undermine the doctor-patient relationship.
12. Make Our Streets Safe Again. Biden is using the public safety issue as a tool to hound his political opponents. He has done nothing to stem the persistent organized political violence by Black Lives Matter and Antifa that has been ravaging our inner cities. Rioting and looting have become regular responses to police incidents or, in the case of Portland, for no apparent reason at all. Calls to defund the police remain all too common. Violent crime in many of America’s most “liberal” cities is skyrocketing.
That cannot become the “new normal.” Law and order benefit all parts of society. It is time to stand up to the leftist mob, return to supporting law enforcement, publicly condemn all violence, and demand prosecutors punish violent actors no matter who the perpetrator happens to be. We Deserve to be The United States in Unity. Biden is constantly telling us we are divided—and that he will unite us. The reality is his policies divide us. What unites us are the foundational principles of liberty, justice, and equality—and policies rooted in that heritage that would make America a “more perfect union.” It is already clear that this is what everyday Americans want. It’s time for our leaders to commit to this, too.

As world leaders meet in Davos, Switzerland, social media users have attempted to create a familial link between the conference’s founder, Klaus Schwab, and Adolf Hitler. Schwab, who was born in Ravensburg, Germany, in 1938 during the Nazi era, has been the target of multiple conspiracy theorists, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To that end, Twitter and Reddit users have shared claims that Schwab’s father, Eugen Schwab, was an “intimate confidant” of Germany’s infamous W.W. II leader. Klaus Schwab Founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab delivers a speech at the Congress center during the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos on May 23, 2022.
The posts shared online in May 2022, claim Klaus Schwab’s father, Eugen Schwab, was a close ally of Hitler, and include a photo of the World Economic Forum leader alongside a man in Nazi uniform. The posts have received thousands of likes and engagements on both Reddit and Twitter. Klaus Schwab has been a frequent target of conspiracy theorists, who have invented claims that he was related to the Rothschilds and that he wrote that four billion people would die through planned epidemics.
The theory that his father was a close confidant of Hitler appears to be part of the same misinformation narratives. To start, the photo shared online is not of Eugen Schwab, but of Nazi general Walter Dybilasz. The photo used in the post appears to be the same used in blogs cataloging details of Third Reich officers. It has been published multiple times including by someone who claims to have an original photo.
Of what little information is available online, Dybilasz is said to have been born in 1892 and died in 1950, possibly in Soviet captivity. Some sources claim he was awarded the German Cross and obtained the rank of General-major. Other spellings of his forename include Watther and Walther. Klaus Schwab’s father, on the other hand, was the managing director of a subsidiary of Zurich-based engineering firm Escher Wyss.
The history of Eugen’s relationship with Nazism in general is complex, but there is no substantive evidence of ties to high-ranking German leadership, particularly Hitler. A fact check published by accredited German journalists dpa used Denazification records to uncover that Eugen Schwab was a member of some National Socialist organizations, but that alone does not prove any relationship to German high command or a belief in Nazi ideology.
While the Escher Wyss branch in Ravensburg, Germany, (which Eugen managed) used prisoners of war and forced laborers, it is not clear whether the company was forced to do so by the Nazis or because of a lack of workers. Similarly, while Escher Wyss made a turbine for a Norwegian hydro-electric power station used in the construction of an experimental reactor for military-use plutonium, whether the Ravensburg branch did so as well is not clear.
At the end of the Second World War, as Germany attempted to remove Nazis and Nazism from public life, Schwab was acquitted before a committee investigating prominent public figures. A translation of dpa’s work states: “…it also seems unlikely that Schwab could have successfully denied that he would have been a member of the N.S.D.A.P. (the National Socialist German Workers’ Party) if he were a prominent Nazi.”
Crucially, there appears to be no evidence to suggest that Eugen Schwab was a confidant of Hitler, as the social media posts state. Newsweek has contacted the World Economic Forum for comment.
The Ruling – is False, The photo shared on social media is thought to be of German general Walter Dybilasz, not WEF chief Klaus Schwab’s father. While Eugen Schwab was a member of some National Socialist organizations and managed a factory that used prisoners of war, this does not demonstrate any direct ties to the Nazi regime. There is no evidence he was linked to German high command, including Hitler.
