NO PAIN ~ NO GAIN, “If You Never Bleed, You’re Never Gonna Grow.”

Two things happened to me in 2006.
I went to pray in Carey, Ohio and received the vision for this blog and lost my father on April 3rd to Leiomyosarcoma. “However, my story started back in October 1991 when my father was first diagnosed with bladder cancer and had it scoped and they took out a tumor which they told him at the time they had to leave just a stem, because they didn’t want to cut into the bladder wall for obvious reason.
After this surgery they gave him radium treatments which always made him feel bloated. So long story short he never really felt it necessary to change his lifestyle or diet.
But was fortunate to survive cancer two more times and the third being a tumor up by the breastbone which they decided to fry it with radiation. Then it was only a year later it came back. I remember to this day, that day being February 24, 2005, my mom and sister took him to Ohio State and found out it was terminal. They told him he had a year and that it was Leiomyosarcoma; it was a rare type; only 4 in a million get this type.

A Reason, a season and a lifetime!!!
So, it was nearly the end of the terminal dx — when I went to The Shrine in Carey, Ohio.
When I myself was going through severe depression and went there to pray for a peace of mind. Because it seemed about every time, I was about to dig myself out of the dark hole
I fell deeper back into it. So, on the way home from mass that day I was handed a vision for this blog. Which I thought was brilliant but at the time I didn’t know how to type let alone computers or the internet, but it didn’t stop me.
And boy, oh girl and boy after that date I learned that when the student is ready the teachers would appear. From Mant Prowg in Kettering at half price books to everyone
else I met along my healing path. Mant “That Chinamen” owning a business that came here and went through his own form of culture shock because of the American Diet provided me the basis for Solitarius.org.”

(Written in abstract) It is rarely talked about, but I want to talk about it. Whenever you will ask for advice, they will ask you to let it go as if it is so easy. I want to talk about the efforts it takes to let someone go.

It takes every bit of us to decide that we are going to give up on the person we love the most. I will not talk about the situations that lead a relationship to its end. It is scary to even imagine living a life that we have dreamed of living with someone. It is so difficult to imagine it without that person. These are the situations of a dilemma when you don’t see clearly what is right for you.

Sometimes, we don’t get the chance to choose. We are left with no choice. They leave us in the middle of nowhere. This is when we hear from everyone to stop worrying and just let it go. “Take a deep breath, and let it go.” As if we don’t know it already. But what about the heart that is bleeding? What about the memories that are haunting us every night? What about the broken dream?

It takes years of pain. Missing them becomes a part of our lives. It hurts. It is a gradual process. It is easier said than done. Forgiving is easy, forgetting isn’t. We can do everything that is in our hands. We can stop stalking them, we can stop looking at their pictures, we can delete the number and chats. But the heart wants what it wants. We cannot stop ourselves from missing them in the middle of the night. We cannot stop ourselves from dreaming about the time when everything was alright.

Only hope helps us at that time. Only the belief in ourselves. I agree that it is not easy, but it is not impossible. And just because it is tough, it doesn’t become a bad choice. You took the right steps. You can do it. You are not alone. I am always with you. My heart goes to you. Trust yourself.

Existential Crisis
I was also having a small (or not-so-small) existential crisis.
Turning 40 was uneventful but being 45 was another matter entirely.
2006 felt more significant somehow, and I was convinced that I was a selfish jerk.
My dad was dying, and I was freaking out about who I was as a person, what I had done, what I had left to do and who I wanted to be. There were accomplishments, successes even, behind me. But my present felt like one failure.

The future seemed hazy.
I lay awake at night convinced I wasn’t doing enough while knowing that I couldn’t do more. I was worn down, stifled by who I was turning out to be. Grief weighed me down, and work. I was managing everything while admitting that I didn’t know how to deal with anything—an insecure, anxiety-ridden mess trudging haltingly from one day to the next with no plan for the future.

Changes and Changing
I wasn’t changing until I had changed. Without realizing it, my priorities shifted.
I was growing little by little, becoming another version of me. What was happening to me happens to all of us. Our lives can change suddenly and unexpectedly or so slowly that we hardly notice. We have to figure out how to move forward—to continue—even in the most awful of situations.
That moving forward requires a refashioning of who you are. It feels like every time I’ve figured out who I am, life happens, and I’m left scrambling to figure it out again and again and again. It’s an endless process. I’m never as settled as I think I am. Neither are you. Cancer of a loved one, in the beginning, during and aftermath it changes you.

Our lives aren’t static.
They can’t be because our experiences, good or ill, change us.
Those experiences can define who we are. And we can’t move backward to a time before. It’s simply not possible. There’s a before and an after, and I, you, we, all live in the after.
And you never know what is going to come along and change your life.
Sometimes, it’s the birth of a child or the death of a loved one, a chronic illness, getting a job or losing one, starting a relationship or ending one, a big move or those terrible things that are hard to speak of. Sometimes, it’s small changes that gradually shift who you are before you even notice.
While some of us might seem to have a clear sense of who we are or that we know what
we are doing, we don’t. Because, as they say, shit happens. How we react and respond changes us. We are different on the other side. How could we not be?
Unending change is exhausting. I understand why some folks try to resist or persist as
if everything is still the way it was. But change changes us…whether we want it to or not.
We all have to figure out how to carry on and to be the new person we are now.

Growing and Growth
And here I am once again realizing that I am not who I used to be. My dad’s death, Life turns on us at 50, the pandemic, then turning 60 also made me realize Life is a Hologram, nothing is what it seems, and a host of other things made me someone new again. Some of the changes creeped up on me; others smacked me in the face (A death of a Godmother, or another favorite Aunt, a first cousin you were close to or that of best friend your life ends).
I soon realized that I can’t change back. I once again would have to figure out how to move forward with my grief about life’s exhaustion and also circling doubts about whether
who I am is who I need to be.

I’m changing. I’m growing. And It kind of sucks.
And yet, I can’t get a Taylor Swift lyric from her song, “the 1,” (Official Lyric Video) out of my head. It echoes in my mind. She sings, “If you never bleed, you’re never gonna grow.” There’s some truth in her lyrics. We can’t ignore the things that happened to us—those that make us bleed and those that don’t. I know I can’t. And I, like every other human being, have to figure out what comes next.

I have to figure out how to grow and then actually grow.
If I am ever going to become the person that I need to be at this very exact moment. Growth requires that we change to fit into the present and get ready for the future.
Our past defines us. It can lead to growth—if we don’t let it hold us back. Now, know,
growth is not easy, but it’s necessary to become the people we need to be now and later.
We can only grow if we let ourselves. Hopefully, we grow into better versions of ourselves.
We might even outgrow who we once were, shucking who we were to be who we are now.

That’s okay. Sometimes, it feels right. Sometimes, it hurts.
Realizing there are only really three types of people. Those that are Overbearing & Controlling, those that are Contrary & Selfish and those like me who are caring from the wisdom of time. and wanting it all to turn out alright. Like Midnight of Halloween Night tilts from summer to the winter sky. Growing and outgrowing time haunts us and is part
of being human. At least, that’s what I tell myself as I wait to see who I become next.

The Unfortunate Thing About Life IS THAT IT HAS AN ENDING. “BUCKET LIST?”

When you die, someone will place a sheet or a blanket over your head. An ambulance may take you to the hospital for an autopsy. The undertaker will be called, and arrangements will be made to place you in a grave. People will come to the funeral and shed tears over your lifeless body. They will look at your cold, blank face and mourn, but you will be gone. They will slowly drive to a cemetery with your body in a casket. At the cemetery, they will carry your casket to a hole in the ground and lower it down. People will cry. The men will cover your casket with dirt and a tombstone.

Your name, the date of your birth, and today’s date will be on the stone. the people will leave, recover, and perhaps someday, forget that your body is there. Your five minutes are almost gone, so I must get to the point. When your time is up and you have died, where are YOU going ? We have already decided where your body is going, but what about our soul ? Will you be in Heaven or a Devil’s Hell ? Oh, yes, you will be in one place or the other.
So, in these remaining minutes, I will tell you what to do to get to the place of your choice.

IF your choice is a Devil’s Hell, do nothing ! You have already done enough ! ”
For the wages of sin is death; . . .” (Romans 6:23a) ”
The wicked shall be turned into Hell . . .” (Psalm 9:17)

IF, however, you choose to go to Heaven, you must do several things…
First, you must believe you are a sinner.
“For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD;” (Romans 3:23)
Secondly, you must believe you deserve to go to a Devil’s Hell. “Wherefore, as by on man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon ALL men, for that ALL have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)

The third thing that you must do is to repent (turn to GOD from your sins) of your sins. “. . . As I live, saith the LORD GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live . . .” (Ezekiel 33:11)
You must also believe JESUS died to pay for your sins. “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:” (1st.Corinthians 15:3-4)
“But GOD commend Eth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
CHRIST died for us. ” (Romans 5:8)
Finally, you need to trust JESUS to be your personal LORD and SAVIOR.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Your time is so short in this world ! Your decisions were your own personal responsibility.
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27)

In the End: It’s Your Hide You Have to take to the Market…

So, I will tell you what you must do to go to Heaven.
Confess directly to GOD in prayer that you know JESUS died for you on the cross, was buried and resurrected, and now sits at the right hand of GOD the FATHER. Ask HIM to help you turn from your unbelief and to come into your heart and save you for JESUS’ sake. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised HIM from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Did you receive JESUS as your personal LORD and SAVIOR ? If you did, and your life ended right now, you would be in Heaven for all eternity. ” These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the SON of GOD; that ye may KNOW that ye HAVE eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the SON of GOD.” (1st.John 5:13)

The Great 2023 Depression

When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come!’ Then He will save the humble person. Job 22;29

We The People, have to unite & demand a proper investigation and remedy, or be divided.
You can either vote and be proactive in your community/state, or cry about it online.
Really the only two options. I vote and encourage my friends to vote.
I interact with my elected officials. I let my voice be heard.

Clearly we are a divided nation. The question is, will you give in, and surrender to Democrats? Be a slave to Democrat Masters, or will you be vocal, organized, push back on the Democrat Masters whom own their slaves for life? Will you vote for change? Will you denounce the lies and propaganda of the Democrats? Because either we take this country back for 2023, or we become slaves to the system.

The probability for President Trump to come back in 24 is very, very small. Remember what they’ve done to keep him away. The only chance for him to come back would be to fix the 2020 election, that’s what I believe and moving forward with midterms without fixing the last election is very naive. President Trump has given us many clues but most people are focusing on the midterm “election” . Seriously I believe our last election was 2020 and even if we win this “midterm election”, we’re not going to make it until January.

Biden signed an executive order 14067 for digital currency that may go into effect on

12/13 and we may lose our freedom that day I don’t understand, why we have to wait for the midterm and not fix 2020 election when there’s plenty of proof of voting fraud.

How many registered voters in us 2020.
There were just 133 million registered voters in the United States for the November 2020 presidential election. Despite COVID-19 concerns, 155 million people turned out for the 2020 presidential election. However, 4% (552,500) of registered nonvoters reported not voting due to their concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.

We did vote but remember they still have the dominion machines still and EO title 14067 on 12/13, also executive order 14019, and mail in ballots and mules, open borders and everything else. The thing I worry about, is Biden and Democrats are selling a lot of our weapons and equipment, to other countries, to enrich their donors, while leaving us with less stuff to fight with. Democrats are getting rich, and America is getting weak.

Additionally, people pulling their homes off the market or refusing low-ball offers could also explain the drop. This could very well be a supply correction to the reduced demand as well. What Needs to happen. The money from the Fed has been too easy for too long.

The price of homes are way over the income of the buyers who are intended to live in them. When people talk of a “correction”, what exactly is the market correcting? There wasn’t any market fraud like there was in 2008 with subprime loans and we’re not seeing a massive wave of foreclosures. Let us analyze the following two liver cancer cases.

Story 1: Gan was a 62-year-old male.
He had fevers with vomiting and diarrhoea for about two weeks. He was admitted to a private hospital. A CT scan done showed a 9 x 10.5 x 9 cm mass in segments 4 and 8 of the liver. The mass was seen to extend towards the porta hepatis. The intrahepatic ducts were not dilated.
The doctor said Gan had hepatocellular carcinoma. Subsequently, he was referred to a university hospital for further treatment but he did not follow up with that. He came to see us on 6 August 2000 and opted for herbs instead. His condition was then fairly alright. He did not have any discomforts except that he had mild midnight fevers. Gan was started on our liver herbs.
Gan responded well to the herbs. After a week, his appetite increased. He slept well throughout the night while previously he had disturbed sleep and woke up every hour of the night. He felt more alert. His facial expression showed that he looked much better than before. The midnight fevers had also disappeared.
On 10 September 2000, Gan told us that he had more energy and was able to go jogging. On 21 September 2001, i.e., after one year and two months on the herbs, I met up with Gan again. He told me that he was not going to do any more blood tests since the alpha fetoprotein levels had increased from 179 in August 2000 (before taking the herbs) to 88,917 in June 2001 (after taking the herbs). He did not see any point knowing about it anymore. However, he was doing fine and had gone back to work as a mechanic.

He had no symptoms or discomforts.
Gan obtained amazing relief from all his symptoms after taking the herbs for about only one week. He was able to sleep, eat and work. After three months on the herbs, the results of his liver function went back to normal. However, the rising AFP level pointed to the fact that something was not right with him. Story 2: Danny was a 55-year-old man.
In September 2001, he had a sudden abdominal pain. Investigations done in a hospital showed multiple liver masses with ascites. He was then referred to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur. A CT scan of the abdomen indicated “multiple enhancing nodules throughout the liver. The largest of these measure 12 cm across and lies in Segment 5. This particular nodule shows a mixed density with areas of reduced density in its centre. It hangs down to below the inferior border of the liver and appears to be surrounded by fairly dense fluid. Dense fluid is also seen surrounding the liver. Appearances are probably due to a multicentric hepatoma with bleeding from the largest tumour. Multiple secondaries is another consideration.”

A tru-cut biopsy confirmed a well-differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma. The chest X-ray indicated the heart appears enlarged. The right hemidiaphragm was elevated and mild left pleural effusion was noted. Surgery was not indicated in this case. Subsequently, Danny underwent transarterial chemoembolization. After this treatment the blood test results were not encouraging. The doctor told the family members that Danny had only three to twelve months to live.
Danny and his family came to see us on 30 September 2001. He was not in pain but was unable to sleep. He had been on tranquillisers for the previous three or four nights. He was unable to sleep. He had dry coughs and was a bit breathless. Every day starting from 4 or 5 p.m. he had fevers. We prescribed our liver herbs.

After one week on the herbs, Danny reported that he had mild pains. He was able to sleep without having to take the tranquilliser anymore. He lost his appetite. But his breathing was better. The evening fevers had lessened. Before taking the herbs the evening fevers usually lasted for three to four hours and his temperature was around 39 degrees C. After taking the herbs, the fevers lasted for one or two hours only and the temperature was around 37.5 degrees C.
After two weeks on the herbs, Danny reported further improvements. He had no more pain. His breathing had improved, and he also slept well. He felt more alert. On some evenings, he either had no fever or when he had them, his temperature was only about
37 degrees C. (Fahrenheit is: [°F] = 37 × 9⁄5 + 32 = 98.6°F.).

After about one month on the herbs, Danny told us that he has declined to go for further chemoembolization because his condition had improved tremendously. He had no more pains, could sleep, was more alert and his breathing was normal. His appetite had improved. He had fevers only on two evenings and his temperature was around 37.5 degrees C. He told us that his blood pressure was a bit low, at — 100/70.
In November 2001, Danny came and told us that he had no more fevers in the evenings. That was after he had taken the herbs for about six weeks. In late November 2001, Danny reported that his blood pressure had gone back to normal, 110/80. He looked radiant and healthy!
It was indeed most amazing to see Danny doing so well. We had a VCD recording all Danny’s visits. On his first visit, he was wearing a jacket. He looked sick. His movements were stiff, slow and lifeless. He was breathless when he talked. One week afterwards, Danny was different. He had more energy. He walked with much energy.
Again, we would like to pose some questions: This is a man who suffered bleeding due to a ruptured tumour in the liver. He stopped taking chemoembolization after only one treatment and opted for the herbs instead. Why was he getting better? Why were there no more fevers? Why did his blood pressure return to normal? In this case, no drugs or medical procedures were involved. In fact he suffered bad side effects when he was on medical treatment! This is indeed a miraculous healing.

On 20 January 2002, Danny and his family came to see us.
He was in perfect health. Then, barely a month later, Danny came again and was feeling rather down. He had spent time surfing the Internet and learnt that his cancer was a fatal disease. He was depressed and this new information made him feel dejected the whole week. To understand why this is happening, let us go back a little more at the time before Danny came to see us. Danny’s doctor wrote on 17 September 2001: “the prognosis is guarded and his family has been informed.” And according to the family, Danny was given only three to twelve months to live!
We could predict that the outcome of Danny’s and Gan’s healing would be different, although they suffered similar incurable liver cancers. As William Oslo said, survival largely depends on what is going on in the head. I suspected that Danny is under a voodoo curse. He knew that his cancer was serious and he only had three to twelve months to live. Though he benefited from the consumption of the herbs, he still felt hopeless and unsure of the outcome.
He once told me: “I am alright and feel great on the outside, but I don’t know what is happening inside me.” His family members also told me that Danny worried too much. In spite of all the improvements he experienced from taking the herbs, his daughter told me that Danny was just hoping that he could live for another two months, by which time his son would have finished college. He looked forward to his successful graduation and then he was ready to die. No matter how much I assured him that he was going to be alright, he still remained skeptical.
On the other hand, Gan was not under a voodoo curse. His doctor did not have a chance to tell him how long he could live. He opted for herbs and declined further medical attention. What’s really frustrating and pisses me off is that none of you Patriots as you call yourselves. Why aren’t we taking arms as our country is amidst foreign and domestic takeover?
We the people have Got to wake up, hello? What does it take to be nuked and dead and brought back to life again and hold the line? I’m being sarcastic but I’m being serious too. You could see my frustration if you only could hear me how fucking pissed that I am.

I myself won’t live in no fucking Nazi controlled country. Or as Donald Trump said “we will end up being Venezuela on steroids and kissing the nutsacks of Nazis and communist for the rest of our fucking life. I refuse to give in to these bastards and something’s got to give. We have to fight now or die on our knees later. Our children’s minds/attention, the most valuable part of their being, is being held captive with blinking, bonking, colorful trivial & brainwashing techniques.

Children should not have smartphones or computers. They need to play outdoors with their contemporaries. Our Mum used to sit with us, cuddle us, read books to us and encourage us to read the words. They hardly play with each other – which is vital for their brain’s proper development.

Parents are allowing it because their attention is hijacked as well!

That’s because a lot of parents use tech devices as babysitters.

Parents would rather their children have their heads in devices rather than spend time with them. And as long as it keeps those pesky kids out of the parents’ way of their “me time” they are just fine with it. More electronic devices for Christmas as long as you don’t bother me kids.

Even if you’re not one of the 53% of 11-year-olds with a smartphone (19% of 8-year-olds also have them), a child is deluged with marketing from companies like Amazon, Google and Disney at school thanks to “ed tech” games and apps. Researchers at the University of Michigan found that 95% of the 135 most downloaded apps — even the apps marked “educational” in the Google Play store for children under five — contained ads.
Meanwhile the market is exploding. The K-12 ed tech market is expected to double to a $42.5 billion market in 2025. Nine out of 10 kids from third to twelfth grade already use ed tech products at least a few days a week.
While adults have the maturity and experience to handle technology, kids are far more vulnerable.

The research is stark on this, too — computers in the classroom do not improve outcomes. Schools that rely heavily on computers “do a lot worse in most learning outcomes, even after accounting for social background and student demographics,” writes Linn.
In some cases, those that use tables in “all or most” of their classes have reading scores a full grade lower than those who don’t. There are ways to fight back from the big creep of Big Tech. Children should not have smartphones or computers. They need to play outdoors with their contemporaries. Our Mum used to sit with us, cuddle us, read books to us and encourage us to read the words. They hardly play with each other – which is vital for their brain’s proper development.

Big Tech knows that screens and social media are making our kids sick, so why aren’t companies doing something about it? There’s a scourge on our children and it’s called “kid tech.” These two words describe how companies freely market directly to young ones in our homes and schools with addictive games and videos designed to keep kids hooked.
The numbers are staggering Children ages 5 to 8 spent an average of three hours a day in front of digital devices, while teenagers logged nearly a third of their day in front of screens. This was before the pandemic upped these numbers.
In the past two years, anxiety and depression have skyrocketed. Measures of self-confidence are in the toilet.
A new paper presented at European Society for Pediatric Endocrinology meeting last month suggests that excessive blue light from our devices may be contributing to early onset of puberty in girls. As The Post’s Karol Markowicz writes, “They’re on a drug, and everyone seems OK with it.”

Was The Serpent 100% Evil, Or Covert Christ?

Most people have heard some version of the story with the serpent in the Garden of Eden described in Genesis 3, in which God commands Adam and Eve not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but the snake talks Eve (and, indirectly, Adam) into doing so. The story, as well as many other stories in Genesis, have inspired countless people throughout the ages– both those who take it literally and those who take it figuratively. For those who take it literally, however, there are some pretty challenging problems.

The depiction of God can be cruel (for example, turning Lot’s wife into salt), genocidal (with the Flood), and even… perhaps factually wrong. It’s this last one that helped inspire early Christian thinkers, like the author of the Testimony of Truth, to think differently about the story. In the Testimony of Truth, not only is the God depicted in the garden of Eden malicious, but the snake is not the devil– it’s Christ!

God Was… Not So Great?

The Testimony of Truth points out some really problematic behavior from God in Genesis 3. First off– God was either wrong, or lying. God commanded, “you shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, nor shall you touch it, or you shall die”, but did that occur? It seems like an empty threat– neither Adam or Eve actually died upon touching or eating the fruit!
Another thing the text points out is that God’s motivations here seem really problematic. In Genesis 22, God says, “See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”. God’s motivation is that he doesn’t want man to have eternal life, and to be like him! That’s pretty concerning, right? Wasn’t Christ’s whole message that we should be like him and have eternal life?

The writer of the Testimony of Truth concluded that this being which Genesis calls “God” must not, in reality, be the true God– certainly not the god and father of Christ. His solution is to consider the god of Genesis (and, indeed, the Old Testament in general) to not really be the true God, but a demiurge, a lower deity. The Testimony of Truth certainly doesn’t shy away from the asking what we should make of this deity, The text argues:
What kind of a god is this?
First, he begrudged Adam’s eating from the tree of knowledge.
Second, he said, “Adam, where are you?” God does not have foreknowledge; otherwise, wouldn’t he have known from the beginning?
He has certainly shown himself to be a malicious grudger. And what kind of a god is this?
This is clearly not a positive perspective on the god of the Old Testament!
If God Was A Demiurge… Who Was The Serpent?
According to The Testimony of Truth, it’s not God who told the truth in Genesis 3;
it’s the serpent! Genesis 3 tells us that, “the serpent said to the woman, “You will not die; for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

On a surface level, this seems to be true.

When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, they did not die. Their eyes were opened, causing them to realize that they were naked. Finally, they were ashamed, indicating that they knew good and evil.
To take it another level, though, the text points out that what the snake was advocating for… actually sounds pretty good, right? Christ didn’t want us to die, right? Wasn’t a consistent activity in his miracles that he was opening eyes, restoring sight to the blind?

Finally, wouldn’t God want us to know good from evil?
The Testimony of Truth points out that serpents show up in other places in Genesis. For example: In Exodus 7, Moses and Aaron must perform a miracle before Pharaoh. Aaron throws down his staff, which becomes a snake. Pharaoh’s magicians do the same, but Aaron’s serpent is more powerful and consumes the serpents of the Pharaoh.
A much more powerful and relevant example for the author of the Testimony of Truth, however, comes from Numbers 21, in which, after the Israelites have been bitten by poisonous serpents:
And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous serpent, and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten shall look at it and live.” So Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it upon a pole; and whenever a serpent bit someone, that person would look at the serpent of bronze and live.

The Testimony of Truth proudly proclaims about this:
For this is Christ; [those who have] believed in him have [received life]. Those who did not believe [will die].
Indeed, the story found in Number 21 shows a metaphor that seems profoundly similar to the story of Christ’s crucifixion. Those who look to the crucified serpent survive, while those without the eyes to see perish. It’s a gripping image, isn’t it?
The Testimony of Truth argues that it’s revealing Christ as the serpent found in the story of Genesis. The image of the serpent is not diabolical, but rather the one of the power and truth of God. It consumes the false magic of Pharaoh’s magicians, and it brings salvation and life to those who are condemned but look upon it.

Concluding Thoughts
I find it an interesting puzzle. I do think it can be problematic to take a text like this literally– but, even if we take it figuratively, we’re still stuck with selecting what messages to take away. I certainly don’t see God as being described in many of the Genesis texts as being the kind of God that Christ seems to have worshiped and identified as his father.
On the other hand, I want to be very careful about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Taking too hard of a demiurgical approach can verge on anti-Semitic, depending on how you approach it. Jewish thinkers have been pondering these problems for centuries– longer than Christians have, certainly– and have found other ways to approach the problem.
The demiurgic strategy is interesting, and I think there’s value there for a modern context. I also think one needs to be very careful and intentional about how one presents the narrative, and one must take responsibility for the implications of that narrative and the effect it has on others.

The Serpent Story God Is The Serpent – Search (Bing.Com)
Was The Serpent 100% Evil, Or Covert Christ?

Most people have heard some version of the story with the serpent in the Garden of Eden described in Genesis 3, in which God commands Adam and Eve not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but the snake talks Eve (and, indirectly, Adam) into doing so. The story, as well as many other stories in Genesis, have inspired countless people throughout the ages– both those who take it literally and those who take it figuratively. For those who take it literally, however, there are some pretty challenging problems.

The depiction of God can be cruel (for example, turning Lot’s wife into salt), genocidal (with the Flood), and even… perhaps factually wrong. It’s this last one that helped inspire early Christian thinkers, like the author of the Testimony of Truth, to think differently about the story. In the Testimony of Truth, not only is the God depicted in the garden of Eden malicious, but the snake is not the devil– it’s Christ!

God Was… Not So Great?

The Testimony of Truth points out some really problematic behavior from God in Genesis 3. First off– God was either wrong, or lying. God commanded, “you shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, nor shall you touch it, or you shall die”, but did that occur? It seems like an empty threat– neither Adam or Eve actually died upon touching or eating the fruit!
Another thing the text points out is that God’s motivations here seem really problematic. In Genesis 22, God says, “See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”. God’s motivation is that he doesn’t want man to have eternal life, and to be like him! That’s pretty concerning, right? Wasn’t Christ’s whole message that we should be like him and have eternal life?

The writer of the Testimony of Truth concluded that this being which Genesis calls “God” must not, in reality, be the true God– certainly not the god and father of Christ. His solution is to consider the god of Genesis (and, indeed, the Old Testament in general) to not really be the true God, but a demiurge, a lower deity. The Testimony of Truth certainly doesn’t shy away from the asking what we should make of this deity, The text argues:
What kind of a god is this?
First, he begrudged Adam’s eating from the tree of knowledge.
Second, he said, “Adam, where are you?” God does not have foreknowledge; otherwise, wouldn’t he have known from the beginning?
He has certainly shown himself to be a malicious grudger. And what kind of a god is this?
This is clearly not a positive perspective on the god of the Old Testament!
If God Was A Demiurge… Who Was The Serpent?
According to The Testimony of Truth, it’s not God who told the truth in Genesis 3;
it’s the serpent! Genesis 3 tells us that, “the serpent said to the woman, “You will not die; for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

On a surface level, this seems to be true.

When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, they did not die. Their eyes were opened, causing them to realize that they were naked. Finally, they were ashamed, indicating that they knew good and evil.
To take it another level, though, the text points out that what the snake was advocating for… actually sounds pretty good, right? Christ didn’t want us to die, right? Wasn’t a consistent activity in his miracles that he was opening eyes, restoring sight to the blind?

Finally, wouldn’t God want us to know good from evil?
The Testimony of Truth points out that serpents show up in other places in Genesis. For example: In Exodus 7, Moses and Aaron must perform a miracle before Pharaoh. Aaron throws down his staff, which becomes a snake. Pharaoh’s magicians do the same, but Aaron’s serpent is more powerful and consumes the serpents of the Pharaoh.
A much more powerful and relevant example for the author of the Testimony of Truth, however, comes from Numbers 21, in which, after the Israelites have been bitten by poisonous serpents:
And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous serpent, and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten shall look at it and live.” So Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it upon a pole; and whenever a serpent bit someone, that person would look at the serpent of bronze and live.

The Testimony of Truth proudly proclaims about this:
For this is Christ; [those who have] believed in him have [received life]. Those who did not believe [will die].
Indeed, the story found in Number 21 shows a metaphor that seems profoundly similar to the story of Christ’s crucifixion. Those who look to the crucified serpent survive, while those without the eyes to see perish. It’s a gripping image, isn’t it?
The Testimony of Truth argues that it’s revealing Christ as the serpent found in the story of Genesis. The image of the serpent is not diabolical, but rather the one of the power and truth of God. It consumes the false magic of Pharaoh’s magicians, and it brings salvation and life to those who are condemned but look upon it.

Concluding Thoughts
I find it an interesting puzzle. I do think it can be problematic to take a text like this literally– but, even if we take it figuratively, we’re still stuck with selecting what messages to take away. I certainly don’t see God as being described in many of the Genesis texts as being the kind of God that Christ seems to have worshiped and identified as his father.
On the other hand, I want to be very careful about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Taking too hard of a demiurgical approach can verge on anti-Semitic, depending on how you approach it. Jewish thinkers have been pondering these problems for centuries– longer than Christians have, certainly– and have found other ways to approach the problem.
The demiurgic strategy is interesting, and I think there’s value there for a modern context. I also think one needs to be very careful and intentional about how one presents the narrative, and one must take responsibility for the implications of that narrative and the effect it has on others.

After forty-three years of university teaching, I retired in 2007. For the first time since
I had begun writing, I found myself with as much time as I needed. I could write about whatever struck my fancy or my sense of service. So it was that in the fall of 2008, at the age of 68 (but two years younger than the age of my brother when I passed), I began to think about death.

Like any human being, I had reflected many times before on my mortality and what
the afterlife experience might be. And as a confirmed Bahá’í, I had long since acquired a fair degree of certitude that the conditions of that experience as portrayed in the Bahá’í writings were accurate and reliable.
Furthermore, I fully expected—and do still—that I will during the course of my life review be made keenly aware of the times when I knowingly and willfully did things I should not have, even as—I dearly hope—I shall also become apprised of some little acts of kindness and of love I performed without the least concern about winning points for my afterlife evaluations score.
Unlike anything I had ever written before—other than a few poems—this work flowed
from my imagination through my fingers onto the keyboard scarcely without thought or revision. I certainly do not mean to imply this was some divine inspiration.
Rather it was if long pent-up thoughts and observations had suddenly been unleashed upon me, like a flood of emotionally charged and quasi rational reflections on my own
life experience as it relates to my ultimate outcome in this life and in my transition to the next.

It is a light-hearted work, and thus begins with a humorous bit of fiction, as I imagined how triplets in the womb—were they cognitively aware of their condition and also able to communicate—might observe their progress through the nine months of rapid change.
The climax of this narrative naturally occurs as they sequentially experience what they are certain is the end of their existence as one-by-one each exits the warmth and security of the uterine world and is suddenly thrust out into the realm of noise, lights, voices.
Needless to say, this quirky story is intended as a parable, an allegory, about our fear
of death which, the Writings assure us, would be immediately changed into joy beyond measure were we to understand the reality that awaits us.
The theme of the work beyond that initial foray into the realm of fiction dwells on something I began to observe shortly after my accession to the position of a tenure-track professorial rank at the University of South Florida—that somehow I was living out a life that I had not really chosen, so much as I had followed, or had allowed myself to be coerced along, a path prescribed by society at large, but as reinforced by family, friends, and popular culture.

Employing a useful metaphor, I describe this path as boarding a train along with
everyone else I knew, and not getting off until I had become aware that it was not
going anywhere that in my heart of hearts I really wanted to go.
The work proceeds to weave together bits of autobiographical example with
axiomatic philosophical observations derived therefrom, but all the while focusing on the endgame that all our lives must ultimately play with death. And yet, unlike the chess match with Death in Bergman’s 1957 film The Seventh Seal, this game we’re in as Bahá’ís is ours to lose, if we but follow the alternate path, the path “less traveled by” that Bahá’u’lláh has plainly laid out for us and which the plans of the Universal House of Justice have made even more explicit.

Collectively, we humans have never lived this long.
The average lifespan in the year 1900 was forty-seven—today it is seventy-five. Consequently, problems resulting from the physiological deterioration of the aging brain are only recently becoming intensely studied. Compared to other amazing advancements in scientific exploration of reality, understanding of the human brain is the very earliest stage of exploration and development. Of course, aging and the field of gerontology are, generally speaking, newly emerged concerns for our modern age.
But as I discussed at some length in my book Close Connections, the more science examines this most complex creation in all of physical reality—the human brain—
the more speculation shifts from modular theory to holonomic theory, and, even more recently, to what I call the “transceiver” theory, where we understand the source of consciousness as non-physical.

The Baha’i teachings have long held that exact same understanding—that the seat of human consciousness is the soul and not the brain, the spiritual and not the physical:
Thou hast asked Me whether man, as apart from the Prophets of God and His chosen ones, will retain, after his physical death, the self-same individuality, personality, consciousness, and understanding that characterize his life in this world. If this should be the case, how is it, thou hast observed, that whereas such slight injuries to his mental faculties as fainting and severe illness deprive him of his understanding and consciousness, his death, which must involve the decomposition of his body and the dissolution of its elements, is powerless to destroy that understanding and extinguish that consciousness? How can any one imagine that man’s consciousness and personality will be maintained, when the very instruments necessary to their existence and function will have completely disintegrated?

In short, science is discovering that the essential self is non-local—not resident in or dependent on a physical organ. Your brain, in other words, is not you. Over time, and not all that much time at that, the study of the interplay between physics and metaphysics will doubtless vindicate completely this understanding of the human reality.
For now, we can accept it or not based on our individual study and experience.
My own experience is that “I write, therefore I get published,” an axiom that is decent enough for me to accept the knowledge that I am thinking. Furthermore, I refuse to give credit for my thinking to the random firing of a bunch of neurons I’ve never met that reside in some specialized lobes of my brain, though I may take my royalties and buy
some brain food (smoked salmon is good) as a token of appreciation to my lobes.

The relationship of this paradigm to the Baha’i concept of human purpose—
of our spiritual preparation for a non-physical birth into a metaphysical environment—
is extremely enlightening as regards our creation, particularly as regards the notion of our being made in the image of our Creator.
In this Baha’i view of our human reality, the essential self begins gradually to escape
the bonds of physiological constraints and, ultimately, at the moment of death, to escape physiological association altogether.
Or, started from the Creator’s perspective, also our relationship to physical reality is specifically designed to gradually extricate and detach us by degrees from attachment

Collectively, we humans have never lived this long.
The average lifespan in the year 1900 was forty-seven—today it is seventy-five. Consequently, problems resulting from the physiological deterioration of the aging brain are only recently becoming intensely studied. Compared to other amazing advancements in scientific exploration of reality, understanding of the human brain is the very earliest stage of exploration and development. Of course, aging and the field of gerontology are, generally speaking, newly emerged concerns for our modern age.
But as I discussed at some length in my book Close Connections, the more science examines this most complex creation in all of physical reality—the human brain—
the more speculation shifts from modular theory to holonomic theory, and, even more recently, to what I call the “transceiver” theory, where we understand the source of consciousness as non-physical.

In short, increasingly exploration of the relationship between “self” or “consciousness”
and the brain indicates that the source of “self” is metaphysical and not biological, even
though it communicates back and forth through the intermediary of the brain so long as this relationship endures.
The growing popularity of this theory has even gained acceptance among major scientists in the field of neurology, because too much new information indicates capacities of will and consciousness defy any present physiological model, even explanations postulated through quantum physics. Some scientists have concluded that there is no possibility of any future physiological model being capable of accounting for human personality, human consciousness, and human will as being the random product of neurological activity.

The Baha’i teachings have long held that exact same understanding—that the seat of human consciousness is the soul and not the brain, the spiritual and not the physical:
Thou hast asked Me whether man, as apart from the Prophets of God and His chosen ones, will retain, after his physical death, the self-same individuality, personality, consciousness, and understanding that characterize his life in this world. If this should be the case, how is it, thou hast observed, that whereas such slight injuries to his mental faculties as fainting and severe illness deprive him of his understanding and consciousness, his death, which must involve the decomposition of his body and the dissolution of its elements, is powerless to destroy that understanding and extinguish that consciousness? How can any one imagine that man’s consciousness and personality will be maintained, when the very instruments necessary to their existence and function will have completely disintegrated?

In short, science is discovering that the essential self is non-local—not resident in or dependent on a physical organ. Your brain, in other words, is not you. Over time, and not all that much time at that, the study of the interplay between physics and metaphysics will doubtless vindicate completely this understanding of the human reality.
For now, we can accept it or not based on our individual study and experience.
My own experience is that “I write, therefore I get published,” an axiom that is decent enough for me to accept the knowledge that I am thinking. Furthermore, I refuse to give credit for my thinking to the random firing of a bunch of neurons I’ve never met that reside in some specialized lobes of my brain, though I may take my royalties and buy
some brain food (smoked salmon is good) as a token of appreciation to my lobes.

The relationship of this paradigm to the Baha’i concept of human purpose—
of our spiritual preparation for a non-physical birth into a metaphysical environment—
is extremely enlightening as regards our creation, particularly as regards the notion of our being made in the image of our Creator.
In this Baha’i view of our human reality, the essential self begins gradually to escape
the bonds of physiological constraints and, ultimately, at the moment of death, to escape physiological association altogether.
Or, started from the Creator’s perspective, also our relationship to physical reality is specifically designed to gradually extricate and detach us by degrees from attachment

Agreed. The only CGMs that I can find are part of a costly monthly membership program. I cannot find any companies that just sell them to individuals without making them join their monthly membership. If these companies really wanted to help people, they would give them the option of having the CGM with the app to track our own data and not have to pay them a monthly service fee to do something we can do all on our own.

It’s only been 2 months and I’ve learned a lot, but it’s also messed with my head quite a bit. I’m struggling with understanding why my body reacts to the same exact foods in such drastic ways on different days. It’s making it hard to choose the right foods to remain stable. My nutrition is pretty darn clean. I rarely eat anything processed.
I sleep well and exercise daily.
I make all my own salad dressings in order to avoid sugar.
Yet a large salad can still cause a spike on certain days. If someone can help@me understand why that might be, I’d greatly appreciate it. Lastly, Dr. Casey, could you maybe do some articles/podcasts on how genetic variants can/may cause glucose issues in our bodies and what we may do to hack ourselves?

Earlier this year, former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick removed her breast implants which she got done in 2014. Patrick faced symptoms like loss of hair, weight gain, and face swelling. Fortunately, she is in a better place now and has improved her overall health. Since then, she has been vocal about the effects she faced because of the implant and how it deteriorated her health over the years.

The most successful woman in the history of NASCAR and the inspiration to many
female drivers in the sport had a conversation with the American celebrity doctor and
a five-time winner of the New York Times best-selling author, Daniel Amen.
In a recent Instagram post by the renowned doctor, Daniel thanked Danica for opening her vulnerable side to the world and the struggles she faced while having the implants.

The excuse “it’s so we can prepare for future pandemics” is moot when there would not
be this type of pandemic if the “too high of a risk” experiments were not conducted in the
