Here’s What The Vaccine “Spike Protein” Does To Your Body…
It’s Very, Very Bad by April Matthews

Board-certified pathologist, Dr. Ryan N. Cole MD spoke at the White Coat Summit about the catastrophic damage COVID vaccines are doing on humans and the toxic spike protein, potential long-term effects of vaccines. Dr. Ryan Cole has created a video that every single person in the world should see.

A PATHOLOGIST SUMMARY OF WHAT THESE JABS DO TO THE BRAIN AND OTHER ORGANS (rumble.com)

White Coat Summit Episode 1 – Peachland Advocate
“You want to give a 2, 5 or 12 year old a shot? And we see a 200% increase of myocarditis. That’s a good idea. Let’s give a kid a toxin that ruins his health for life. (…/…) We need to stop insanity immediately”

“This is not science. This is a poison attack on our population.”
“In the Pfizer paper works and applications, it clearly states that in the rats, there is a 16% decrease in fertility, one of the most fertile mammals on the planet. (…/…) So what are they doing to humanity? The answer is: We don’t know. Guess what? We don’t have long term safety data yet.

That’s the tragedy and the crime in all of this. It’s an experiment.
It’s an emergency authorization, not approved. Humanity is the phase 3 trial.”
“What is the risk for cancer after the shot? We don’t know. What is the risk of autoimmune disease after the shot? We don’t know.”

“What is the risk of impairing fertility for a lifetime? We don’t know.”
“So why in the world are we really pushing forward at the path rate we’re going without knowing these thing? Complete attack on science and a complete attack on us.”

“No more mandatory forcing of employees. (…/…) ‘How in the world these hospitals and these employers saying: ‘You can not work for me if you don’t sign up to be a subject for an experiment on humanity’ ”

“Where are the billions to do the autopsies?
Where are the billions to prove the science?”

Before getting to the sketchy part; first, let’s talk….
There has been a great deal of discussion about the vitriolic, almost rabid disposition of people who are pushing the vaccination.
This should not be a surprise, although it might be disconcerting to find formerly reasonable people in your network, perhaps even in your family,
now become seemingly unhinged if the subject arises.
It is demonstrably true, there has been a cleavage of our American population as the debate about the COVID vaccination rages on.  However, it is wise to consider the underlying psychology of a person who has been vaccinated, before engaging in an argument.  You may end up being entirely correct in
your position; however, an intense or combative argument?

At what cost?
A vaccinated person is, as a consequence of their decision, in an irreversible frame of mind.  Once the vaccination has been injected into a person’s body, there is no turning back; the Rubicon has been crossed, the event horizon closes, there is no retreat.  Any conversation or debate about vaccine efficacy or long-term consequences with a person who has accepted the vaccine must be weighed accordingly.

Genuine empathetic listening is needed on both sides.
The no-retreat baseline can, often does, form the origin of anger and vitriol, particularly in unstable leftists -who are, by nature of their ideology- professional blame-casters and prone to emotional responses as a matter of disposition.  Therefore, it is better to avoid the topic entirely (if possible)
and retain your peace of mind.

♦ Revelations over the past few years have led to the complete collapse of credibility for many institutions.  The healthcare field is the latest example of a politically controlled ideological industry that can no longer be trusted to make decisions based on a detachment from their political interests.
The healthcare industry has joined the education system, the justice system (DOJ), law enforcement (FBI), the intelligence system, arts and entertainment, as well as many organizations now controlled through the prism of politics.  Political ideology, as the determining factor of institutional behavior, has infected almost every facet of modern life; healthcare is no exception.
Given the nature of the metastatic corruption, very visible in multiple institutions, it is completely understandable that more people would not trust the National Institute of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulatory body or agency now vested in the COVID vaccine.
Factually, as previously stated, the FDA final approval of the vaccines is a moot point.  The FDA, just like a vaccinated person, is in a no retreat position.  There is no way the U.S. FDA cannot approve the vaccines that have been sold, forced and pushed upon the entire global population.  Can you even begin to imagine the ramifications of the FDA saying the vaccine was (a) unsafe; or (b) ineffective?    Think about it.  FDA approval is a foregone conclusion, regardless of safety or efficacy.
There is every reason not to trust the healthcare industry on the issue of vaccination(s).  Indeed, their obtuse behavior, logical disconnect, false assertions and gross hypocrisy is more than enough to create doubt about the vaccine.  Then overlay the lack of consequence for all known institutional corruption, and there’s even more reason to doubt them.

♦ Two key issues stick in my mind about the COVID vaccines that make me pretty firm in opposition:

(1) The fact that vaccine makers would abandon the clinical trial control group is a big red flag.  The fact that vaccine makers could not abandon the clinical trial control group without authorization from the FDA, CDC and NIH is an even bigger red flag.  {Go Deep}
The clinical trial was assembled to produce only one result.  THAT is not science.  THAT is sketchy and points to an ulterior motive.  That is not science, that’s political science.
(2) The fact that data shows the vaccine provides no benefit is another big red flag.  Specifically, the equal hospitalization rate of vaxxed and non-vaxxed patients.   Almost every study I can find with data on COVID hospitalized cases that includes the vaccination status (not many), shows an equal percentage of vaccinated/hospitalized people to the vaccinated population in general.
{Go Deep}
[ex. If 75% of the regional population is vaccinated, then 75% of the hospitalized COVID patients are vaccinated.]  This statistic demonstrates the vaccine doesn’t stop serious illness.
Put both of those issues together, and overlay the demonstrably collapsed institutional credibility, and I am not comfortable with this specific vaccine.
I am not anti-VAX, I am not comfortable with THIS specific vaccination.  And, again, once administered there is no retreat.

We should all cherish, respect and value the differences of opinion of this very personal issue.  Healthcare is a personal and private matter.  Other people have different factors, risk-factors and hundreds of considerations that guide or have guided their decision. We should all respect that; and we do not want to see ‘vaccination status‘ become a fragmentation problem for our CTH community.  We are all in the same foxhole.

ALL OF THAT said, Dr. Ryan Cole is a Mayo-trained physician who has seen over 350,000 patients in his career. He also serves as the CEO of Cole Diagnostics, which has processed over 100,000 Coronavirus tests.
Dr. Cole gave an alarming presentation that merits consideration:
In response to criticism for his position, Dr. Cole wrote:
“I am concerned about the lack of long term safety data, because this vaccine is simply too new. We have never tried an mRNA vaccine in humans before. I’m concerned about the implications of injection of foreign, synthetic mRNA and the antibody reaction which cannot be reversed. It concerns me that large numbers of individuals are being essentially enrolled in a long term phase III clinical trial for the vaccine without being fully informed of this, with no ability for recompense if injured or in case of death.
I am concerned by the number of adverse events and deaths that have
been reported in correlation with this vaccine administration.”  (link)

Rumble — There are extremely effective ways of treating and preventing Covid and big pharma and the government are doing everything they can to keep people from knowing it because they are making insane amounts of money selling you vaccines.

Rumors of a BLACKOUT: Thoughts?

WHO Think’s we’re following in Australia’s & Venezuela footsteps?
Nope. We are on the road to recovery with the 2nd Amendment in tack.

Covid-19 is being used to put fear into America to shut down our economy, pushing it into a collapse & government overspending. Both Democrats & Republicans are making money, while the little people are the victims.

The Delta variant is stoking our anger at the unvaccinated.
Don’t tell us to calm down. By Rebecca Ruiz

There’s an inflatable pinchable clown in my online shopping cart. It’s been there since mid-June, when my therapist recommended physically (but safely) channeling my newfound anger. She also suggested screaming into a pillow.
I ultimately decided the clown was one step too far, at least in terms of household clutter. I can appreciate a good scream, but enjoy it most at sporting events and concerts. I opted instead for a nightly meditation for coping with anger.

At the time, my irritability was an unexpected revelation of post-vaccine life.
After months of using emotional numbness as a defense against the unpredictability of a pandemic, it finally felt safe to feel again.

I was furious about losing time with loved ones and constantly having
to make risk assessments to protect my two young, unvaccinated children.
The meditation helped put my anger into perspective, and soon it faded.

Then the delta variant of the coronavirus began making urgent headlines.
I stayed mostly calm until the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced in late July that vaccinated people can infect others who’ve been immunized. The desperate rage came on quickly. Everything I thought was firmly in hand — unmasked visits from high-risk grandparents, relatively carefree hangouts with vaccinated friends, and a low-risk start to the school year — slipped from my grasp.

Now a new set of headlines proclaim that vaccinated people’s anger is unhelpful and will backfirePublic health experts recently told USA Today  “that anger is understandable, widespread and unproductive.” But if there’s one thing my meditation on the Ten Percent Happier app taught me, it’s that anger is a messenger. It can tell you when a loved one is in danger, when your boundaries have been violated, when your needs are unmet.
The trick is neither suppressing that frustration nor being carried away by it. Achieving this balance often requires exhausting mental and emotional work to recognize and check your worst impulses.
The notion that the vaccinated should remain silent or subdued to spare injury to someone else’s pride isn’t helpful either.
After 18 months of trying to follow the rules and stay positive, it’s no surprise that people who sacrificed as much as they could before vaccinations were available, then lined up for immunization, are now irate.
Close to 60% of Americans eligible for vaccination have gotten their shots. Too many have chosen a different path. Simply put, we’d be seeing fewer infections, hospitalizations, and deaths now if more people in the U.S. were vaccinated.

The argument against letting the vaccinated express their outrage seems to hinge on the possibility that doing so will alienate people who’ve refused so far to get jabbed. Indeed, unleashing anger in the form of blame and shame can destroy relationships, erode trust, and lead to painful regret. Yet, the notion that the vaccinated should remain silent or subdued to spare injury to someone else’s pride isn’t helpful either. Delta supercharged people’s anger. Instead of telling them to temper their feelings, we should take their rage seriously.
Public health experts inclined to lecture should reconsider given how much the most responsive and cooperative Americans have been asked to shoulder. Prior to widespread vaccination, many followed safety guidelines around masking and distancing. They helped flatten the curve. They educated their children at home or quit jobs that were unsafe for their families. People willing to act responsibly during the pandemic have exercised immense physical and psychological discipline while they watched others burn masks, throw parties, and circulate conspiracy theories. Now we’re being asked to dig deeper, bottle up our anger, and find graciousness where only exasperation and grief exist.

Healthcare workers, in particular, seem increasingly distraught and furious
They’re once again confronting full intensive care units, intubating otherwise healthy 20-somethings, and trying to notify a next of kin only to realize an entire household has been brought down by COVID-19.
As one ICU nurse told NPR, “I can’t explain the feeling of defeat when you pour everything into a patient and it’s not enough,” she said. “And then to know that they could’ve gotten vaccinated and it could’ve made a difference.” No burden could be greater in this fight than to watch people die avoidable deaths.
Acknowledging this reality isn’t meant to justify generalizations about who’s unvaccinated and why, lumping them all into a single maligned group. We can be angry and note that vaccine access is critical but not guaranteed for every community, that unvaccinated households are more likely to be food insecure and make less than $75,0000 a year, that historic and institutional medical racism has betrayed countless people who might otherwise leap at the chance for protection against COVID-19.

We can also say, definitely: It didn’t have to be like this. With more widespread vaccination, we might not be nervously sending our children to school with infection rates, in some places, as high or higher than during pre-vaccination peaks. People wouldn’t be anxiously weighing whether to hold a once-postponed wedding or go on that long-planned trip to visit relatives for the first time since 2020. We wouldn’t have to watch again as our fellow Americans fall ill and die.
The anger may be selfish at times, but it’s also a normal response to the circumstances.
When you snatch hope from someone and replace it with yet more grief and trauma, they will be angry. When an expert says this anger is unproductive, they’re not hearing its message. People are grieving for normalcy that was only an illusion.
They know their loved ones, and themselves, are less safe. They deserve to be heard.
Hearing them means alleviating the pressure on the vaccinated to hold this fragile country together.
Hearing them means alleviating the pressure on the vaccinated to hold this fragile country together. Delta’s contagiousness has ensured that the unvaccinated can no longer rely on the protection afforded to their communities by widespread immunization. Still, those who’ve avoided getting their shots must reckon with their role in slowing progress toward herd immunity. We need carefully instituted mask and vaccine mandates that push the hesitant or resistant to take meaningful responsibility for our collective health and well-being.

Recent vaccine mandates issued, planned, or recommended for U.S. military troopsfederal workershealthcare workersteachers, and college students are a good start. Data show that mandates are effective, whether they require proof of vaccination or regular testing for someone who is unvaccinated. Mandates for the vaccines may also be less controversial once the Food and Drug Administration fully approves them. Programs like the “Key to NYC Pass,” which will make access to indoor activities like gyms, restaurants, and performances contingent on vaccination, also puts appropriate pressure on the unvaccinated to reevaluate their choices. Similarly, we need more employers and brands, like the NFL and United Airlines, to set clear expectations for their employees: Get vaccinated or pay the price, either in financial penalties or your job.

Of course, mandates should be implemented alongside reasonable and legal exceptions and effective programs that increase access to vaccines and provide people with social and economic support. That can include setting up clinics in community and neighborhood settings, providing paid time off and childcare for workers and parents worried about severe side effects, and culturally responsive approaches to skeptics who cite medical racism as their reason for avoiding the vaccine. What’s no longer possible is expecting the vaccinated, many of whom have already given up a lot while others flouted the rules, to coddle the unvaccinated. Asking the vaccinated to patiently watch as public health officials, employers, and companies tiptoe around the unvaccinated is no longer acceptable.
While the vaccinated are probably unlikely to withhold future cooperation as punishment for being scolded or silenced, they’ll still feel resentment that could continue dividing us all. If public health officials and experts want the vaccinated to surrender their anger and keep marching forward, they need to stop expecting them to sacrifice with a smile on their face and instead start asking more of the unvaccinated.

That said, rumors are just that.

I’ll believe it when it happens.
Prepping for blackouts during storms, etc. is a gimme.
But blackouts from your own gov’t, that’s tyranny. Would like to think that’d never happen, but they lie incessantly, and power is a very destructive force!
So many so-called Q revelations (watch for it!, this is it!, it’s coming!) failed to materialize. I try not to pay attention to the “This is the smoking gun” crowd.
If something happens I’ll find out. Until then, spare me.

China has purchased enough property in strategic US locations and will be tying into the power grid with wind farms, solar. So if it isn’t going to happen from ds, it will be happening soon enough after China gets its claws firmly entrenched.

They can’t stop the spread of information and they are rapidly losing control of the narrative. The deep state is in full panic mode and the world is watching the house of cards come down. Something is definitely coming. A national blackout , esp in the summer months, would create civil unrest on levels we have never seen before. It’s possible. They’re screwing everything else up, may as well trash the power grid and send us into total chaos and anarchy.
Nothing can stop what’s coming.

Who believes OUR nation is experiencing a “spiritual crisis.”
Because our homes and churches are experiencing a “spiritual crisis”?!!!
We don’t need churches. People just need to get their shit together and get right with Source. We need a reset to correct the misinterpretations, get everyone on the same page, and then everyone can worship PRIVATELY, the way it’s supposed to be. It’s a PERSONAL relationship.
I believe it. Our views as Christians are so off, we want so badly to live these comfortable lives that we are not standing on the truth anymore. It’s so clear the churches are not transforming people!!! All we have to do is look at the mess we are in!!!

Are you scared of Covid?

Scared of the Australian Government & the destruction &

harms its doing in the name of health more than CMicrobeVSyringeD.

I am 100 times more scared of our current government than Covid. I am concerned about the free-pass Covid has given to malpractice and…

mail-in ballots. Not as scared as I am of the death Direct hit dart !!

I’m much more afraid of this administration. I am afraid of Big Government, Big Medicine and Big Pharma. I’m far more afraid of losing the country to Marxism.

Quaking in my hazmat suit!!Rolling on the floor laughing

BUT Why worry about something you don’t really have control over?

“The only thing we have to fear is….. fear itself “ JFK

Dr. Mike Yeadon, Former Pfizer VP latest message – Everyone must listen (bitchute.com)

Nope. God will decide when and what takes me. You are not going To live 1 second longer Than you are supposed to. Enjoy life and this World we inhabit. It’s fun.. I’m more scared of our over the top response – it’s not going away. Actually I’m more scared of getting cancer or motor neuron disease or having a stroke or any other debilitating illness or of wasting my life waiting for

common sense to return to our politicians Face with medical maskRam

I see it’s destiny & complete history and scope is enormous.
It is important to shed the negative aspects of oneself, the pettiness, hatred, fear, & alter one’s thinking. If this does not happen, whether you are Maxined or not the immune system will be at risk. Regardless of all the mis-info coming from the agencies/institutes & the counter information which is both correct at times, it needs to be understood that these ARE the plagues of the Reveal, the potential of what is going on should not be underestimated or dismissed as trivial!!!
My Wife has it and is recovering fine, and I kiss and hug her every day, just as I would any other time she had gotten a flu. I do not wear a mask, nor will I make her wear one. I do not have Covid, nor do I believe I ever will.

I refuse to run around with my hair on fire.
Never scared of it. Then I had it. I have issues that could have made it worse – high blood pressure, overweight, previous chemo screwing up my system. It was not fun, but I’ve been through worse. I will always live my life as I want to. Never in fear. Having a good routine for physical health and well being and especially time to either pray according to one’s personal preference or plunge into the Silence of contemplation at this point is critical.

No it’s just a Political BS as they call everything Covid no true numbers as flu, pneumonia, common cold etc. are all classified under Covid so no one is ever going to know the true numbers. More people were killed or injured in a car accident in 2017 LA county then died of Covid in the entire state of California so the answer would be no. People should not live their lives in constant trepidation. I personally know 6 people who contracted COVID, all were mild cases. I don’t discount the seriousness, but the media as usual plays on fear.

To me, it’s like the ocean. You must respect that it can ravage you at any time. Mostly it does not. Take care of yourself; take D3, magnesium, C, and exercise, go get some sun, and try not to obsess about it. Hell no. I know it’s bad from friends and coworkers infections but I also know that none of them took any of the available and stockpiled HCQ/Azithromyocin/Zinc or Ivermectin.

A new mRNA “vaccine” has less efficacy Axe and safety than the other two treatments.

Never have been, never will be.
At this point I’m just scared of the Dems pushing our country closer to socialism. I was hospitalized for 5 days with double COVID pneumonia. First time I ever wondered if I was gonna make it. However most people such as my wife and child had mild symptoms. Look at the number of deaths involving COVID-19 last week- 753. Does that look like a surge to you? #CDC #WHO #Covid-19

Most Googled Coronavirus Question: Is coronavirus worse than the flu?

Had it. It wasn’t fun. But neither is a stomach flu or any other nasty flu. I took over the counter sleep pills , nighttime cold and flu syrup to knock me out and it was over by day 3.
I am aware that it can be dangerous, even deadly, for a small percentage of people. But 1000s of things in life are as well. Perspective matters, but we’ve lost ours. So I’m more afraid of these dunderheaded mitigation efforts and the ppl who support them than I am of the virus.
I’ve already had the virus, recovered, and got vaccinated. I’m not the least bit worried for myself but I am concerned for those that are immunocompromised or unvaccinated (more the former). Today’s stats….98% recovery rate. The vulnerable should take precautions, and everyone else should be free to get on with their lives.

30-Year-Old With COVID Gives Birth, Holds Baby Girl Just Once, Dies Days Later

4 Powerful Ways to Improve Your Health and Longevity with Epigenetics. Your Beliefs Are Stronger Than Your Genes

Christiane Northrup, M.D.

Christiane Northrup, M.D., is a visionary pioneer and a leading authority in the field of women’s health and wellness. Recognizing the unity of body, mind, and spirit, she empowers women to trust their inner wisdom, their connection with Source, and their ability to truly flourish.
Scientists have long been fascinated with our DNA. The 20th century brought huge advances in the study of human genetics; we finally witnessed the complete mapping of the Human Genome. And once it was complete, many experts realized what I have been saying all along: Your genes are not necessarily your destiny. In fact, your genes cause less than 10 percent of all diseases!

The science of genetics imparts that you are destined to get the diseases that run in your family. This is known as genetic determinism. If you go to your doctor for genetic tests, you will get information on the gene expressions you carry along with scary statistics stating that you have a certain percentage of a chance for developing any number of serious diseases. But, the same doctors who provide you with those statistics will be the first to admit that even with this detailed genetic information, most of them don’t change their prevention or treatment plans. That’s because your genes don’t determine anything all by themselves.

If Your Genes Aren’t Driving Disease, What is?
I am here to tell you that Epigenetics – the study of how our environment affects our genes – is far more accurate when it comes to determining your health. For example, we know that eating nutritious foods, engaging in physical activity you love, and making other healthy lifestyle choices can actually improve your health. Well, guess what? Your beliefs are your environment. Your beliefs, along with your relationships, the food you eat, the air you breathe, the way you handle stress, and many other internal and external factors, are what trigger how your genes get expressed.

A recent study conducted by Richard J. Davidson, Founder of the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds and The William James and Vilas Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, shows that changes in gene expression happen very quickly when intensive mindfulness is used. Specifically, the study found that, after eight hours of meditation, people had reduced levels of pro-inflammatory genes and recovered more quickly from stressful situations.

Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., Best-selling author of The Biology of Belief: Unleashing The Power of Consciousness, Matter and Miracles, says that our genes are just blueprints with no more power than a paper blueprint. We give them power to turn on and off with our beliefs. He also states that most health problems occur because of “misperceptions” we have learned or acquired. And, since perceptions can be changed, so can our health.

So you see, changing your beliefs is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself. If you truly believe in your unconscious mind that you are young and vibrant no matter your age, your belief triggers a switch to turn on your longevity genes.

Also, you may not be the only one who benefits. Just as you may have received your grandmother’s gene for some trait, there is always the potential for passing your created good health along to future generations. That means, if you are considering having children, changing your beliefs about your health destiny may be the best way to ensure your children’s health too.

Your Beliefs Are Stronger Than Your Genes

It’s not too late to change your beliefs and change your health for the better. Here are my tips for empowering yourself toward vibrant health despite your genes:

Tip 1. Take notice of how you talk about your health. Your words become your destiny. The words you speak go into your own ears. They literally land in your body, and your cells respond. Instead of speaking about any dis-ease or dis-ability, speak positively about what you are capable of doing and how you are supporting yourself, and you will become as healthy as your words.

Tip 2. Acknowledge what diseases run in your family. It’s important to be able to fill out your family history for your medical provider. But, don’t allow this information to take up too much space in your brain. And, don’t speak as though it is inevitable that you will end up like a family member who has a particular disease.

Tip 3. Use your inner wisdom to elevate your health legacy to a vibrant level. As you know, my book Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom, is all about cultivating your inner wisdom to create health. There are many ways to access your inner wisdom. One way is to pay attention to your dreams. Other ways include tuning into your emotions, your menstrual cycle or even your energy levels at different times.

Tip 4. Listen to what your dis-ease is telling you. Listening to your body is the easiest way to create health daily. Ideally you will listen to your body before dis-ease sets in. If you are already experiencing symptoms, pay attention to what they are telling you. Acknowledge that you may need to make some changes. Allow space for your emotions to surface and be released. How have you changed your beliefs and your health?

DISCOVERY AT A TEXAS WHATABURGER REVEALS THE HORROR OF BIDEN’S “IMMIGRATION POLICY.”

The problem at the Southern border is still spiraling out of control as the Biden regime sits back and laughs. People from countries all over South and Central America are making their way to the U.S./Mexico border to try and sneak in to take advantage of the opportunity that the Democrats have created.

They face little resistance from the agents with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, who are overwhelmed and overworked. Even when CBP agents capture a percentage of the thousands of illegal immigrants entering this country, they release them into the country due to the Biden administration’s current immigration policy.

The problem is many illegal immigrants who are released from custody are testing positive for COVID-19. The Biden regime and various state and local governments look to mandate American citizens to wear masks and get vaccinated. Yet, illegal immigrants are not required to follow these mandates.

A group of illegal immigrants was recently eating at a Whataburger restaurant in Texas with COVID-like symptoms. They admitted to being undocumented migrants and that they tested positive for COVID-19. They were living in a nearby hotel full of illegal migrants, and everyone tested positive for COVID-19.

The La Joya Police Department said a patrol officer was waved down Monday by someone concerned about a group that appeared to be sick at a Whataburger fast food restaurant. The officer found a family inside who were coughing and sneezing and not adhering to health guidelines, including the wearing of masks, authorities said during a news conference.
A manager told the officer they wanted the people to leave the establishment because they were making everyone inside “uneasy.” When the officer approached the migrants, they said they had tested positive for the coronavirus and had been apprehended by Border Patrol agents several days prior before being released.

As natural-born citizens, we are being subjected to all forms of tyranny including but not limited to forced wearing of masks, forced vaccinations for some individuals, prohibition from certain activities unless you’re vaccinated.

But then when it comes to immigrants coming here illegally, they are shipped off to other states, given free hotel rooms and who knows what else. I tell you what they’re not being given…court dates.
Many have COVID and just freely spread it.

That’s why we’re still having a massive problem with the virus. When you bring in nearly 200,000 immigrants, most of them having COVID, and then turning them loose, what else do you expect to happen?

Anyways Welcome to the Herd

The Government should be run more like a business and the mandate should be to find revenue sources other than taxpayer revenue.

And, Congress should have incentives to cut the budget, not raise it.
Lower our tax rate to a flat 10% with no ability to get deductions.
Also…abolish the FBI and the Department of Education.
Then disband the IRS. The government does have revenue that is not taxpayer revenue but it pads their individual pockets & doesn’t help ours!!

Wish it could happen but your dream to rob from the poor to give to the rich…is in other words F-CK ing THE POOR & MIDDLE CLASS.

Had Fauci listened to people with AIDS and the clinicians treating them, and responded accordingly, he would have saved thousands of lives. In the two years between 1987, when Callen met with Fauci and 1989, when the guidelines were ultimately issued, nearly 17,000 people with AIDS suffocated from PCP. Most of these people might have lived had Fauci responded appropriately.

Just had a quick conversation about Ivermectin with a high level person in
the healthcare world… This individual told me they had recently attended an emergency Delta variant meeting with leaders in healthcare at a state level. Ivermectin was briefly discussed at the meeting by the state level head medical bureaucrat…. Who informed everyone that IVM as a cure is misinformation and is the result of fraudulent data that should be pulled.

I’m trying to be vague about this anecdote!
I’m sharing, but my contact is someone who I know through professional channels and I had to pretend to be much more pro-establishment than I really am, so I was just listening to them tell me this info. I’m the one who brought up IVM and then they explained to me that they had “insider” info that it doesn’t work.

My contact appeared to be 100% trusting of whatever was shared by the head medical bureaucrat at the state level. So basically as soon as IVM was said to
be ineffective at the meeting, it was 100% true in my contact’s head, and they interpreted anything I had to say about IVM as self-evident that I was one of the misinformed members of the public who got confused by articles shared
on Facebook.

My contact also appeared completely unaware of the concept of “non-sterilizing” vaccines. They were involved at public policy level discussions about vaccination that were based on the idea that the vaccine completely prevented the risk of infection and transmission. They seemed to think the
only flow of virus that was possible was from unvaccinated to vaccinated
but nowhere else.

Based on the information I heard, it was as if nothing could deter this group
of people from their aggressive “get everyone vaccinated” push, because they truly believe the vaccines will stop infection and transmission. Any information that would lead to a different public policy decision is treated as fundamental “misinformation” that is filed away in their heads as untrue and not worth consideration.

Noromectin (Ivermectin) Injection is an injectable parasiticide for cattle and swine. Ivermectin is derived from the avermectins, a family of potent, broad-spectrum antiparasitic agents isolated from fermentation of Streptomyces avermitilis. Noromectin Injection is a clear, ready-to-use, sterile solution containing 1% ivermectin, … Injectable parasiticide for the treatment
and control of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, sucking lice and mites in cattle and swineNoromectin provides protection against cattle grubs.
Contains 10 mg ivermectin per ml.
Dosage: Cattle – 1 ml subcutaneously per 110 lbs. body weight;
Swine – 1 ml subcutaneously per 75 lbs. body weight.

For me what is disturbing is not just the way ivermectin is viewed, but the organizational structure and how knowledge is disseminated. No one thinks
for themselves but instead just receives the info from the authority and then proceeds as if it’s 100% true no matter what. This problem transcends ivermectin and will have severe consequences in every aspect of life.

Pharmaceutical Co. Beware.. your gaslighting in the efficacy of Ivermectin is getting the attention of the meme apes. Made me ask myself — has the world always been like this, or is today worse than ever before?

Dosage was 0.6 mg/kg for 5 days – wow, an actual antiviral dose.
They compared 2 groups – 3269 patients who received IVM and 18,149 patients who did not during the same period. Great results, again will be met with silence. Great that no safety issues were reported with this high dose.

Google Translate of the key part …
will be interesting to see the study
come out with more data:

“The primary objective in the community of the two populations was to evaluate mortality related to Covid-19,” he said. In this context, they studied 3,269 patients older than 18 years of the Ivermectin Group, and in the same period they compared it with a group of 18,149 patients not participating in the program. “In the results of the mortality analysis in the Ivermectin Group, we found that it was 27.4% lower compared to the group of patients who did not use the drug.
When we evaluate the population over 40 years of age, the cut-off point that
we established, the decrease was 33.4%. This means that, if confirmed by a randomized clinical trial, 1 in 3 deaths would be prevented. It’s a very strong piece of information, “said Kohan. The minister added that, in the program, a dose of 0.6 milligrams per kilo of weight was used, in a period of 5 days. “The previous work carried out gave the clue that this was the correct dose in the first 5 days of transit of the disease with mild symptoms” added Kohan.

Ivermectin is a Nobel prize winning generic drug on the WHO’s Essential Drugs list. Endorsed by FLCCC.net (authors of MATH+ protocol) for prophylaxis, mild, moderate, severe (ICU) COVID-19. And anecdotally for a subset of long haulers. Originally used as anti-parasitic (worms, river blindness), now recognized as broad antiviral, anti-bacterial, with potential as chemotherapy adjuvant for cancer. Used over 40 years (3.7B doses), and considered for mass administration for malaria by the WHO. My team deals with sick Covid patients all day in FL. We are not vaxxed. We need to raise the alarm bell.
Vaccine immunity is waning and there are going to be a lot of cases come winter. Ivermectin needs to be part of standard care now because if we wait until winter there won’t be enough supply. I don’t know what else to say,
I think we are in a very serious situation here where an effective treatment is sitting on the sidelines in the majority of hospitals and we are going to need it more than ever come winter. Lives are on the line here.

What do we do? How do we make this happen?
What are the best ways to get the word out?

I had it(self-diagnosed)at the height of the plandemic. Heavy lungs, dry cough and fatigue. Lost sense of smell and taste. That was the WORST. Killed my appetite. Used OTC cold/flu meds. I got it wearing the mandatory mask. I was sick with a fever for about a week. Get the vitamins from the Zelenko protocol – lots of Vit C, D, & Zinc…get hydroxychloroquine if you can, or ivermectin!!

Google Monoclonal antibody infusion in your area.
Needs to be administered within the first 7-10 days.

Your symptoms can get increasingly worse in the second week,
so don’t assume you have a mild case.

Why did you get tested? Did you sneeze once? The tests are useless. I have never been tested but have had a chest infection and colds, just like before the New Normal, and I recovered. Propaganda driven fear is the problem. If you have mild symptoms, don’t worry. Take vitamin D 2000iu, Zinc 50mg ,vitamin C 500mg and one 325mg aspirin a day. It will help your immune system. I had it in January and never got sick…just a little tired.

I took Emergen-C mixed into an 8 oz. bottle of orange mango juice every day when I got it last November. Worst thing was the exorbitant amount of gunk my face made for 5 days. Lost my sense of smell for about 4 hours. This is a real symptom. Can you smell things?

Ivermectin. You can get it on Amazon (Noromectin). Get a large gauge needle, though (feed store)! Pull out 1cc per hundred pounds of weight and squirt it in some orange juice and drink it. We do this once a week. Well, since the tests don’t work, don’t sweat it. https://cdc.gov/csels/dls/locs /2021/07-21-2021-lab-alert-Changes_CDC_RT-PCR_SARS-CoV-2_Testing_1.html

I had it too. You’ll be good. Get some zinc. Vitamin c. Quercetin.
Vitamin d. Start immediately. Maximum dosage a day allowed.

And drank some vodka tonics too. Rolling on the floor laughing
Yes the tonic is very important has Quinine in it Thumbs up

I got $20 that your doctor doesn’t know and you’ll just sit at home for 10 days taking DayQuil
or
1) Mucinex 1200 mg (max strength) 2x a day. 2) Tylenol (5 pills before sleep)
3) Keep hydrated 4) if Diarrhea: Imodium AD 5) Zinc 6) HCQ 7) Vitamin D Don’t skip on whatever meds you already take.

Do you have symptoms? We followed the Zelenko Protocol

The Ocean is About to Flip

The ocean is about to flip a switch that could permanently disrupt life on Earth. Matthew Rozsa  1 day ago

2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season Fast Facts (msn.com)

Climate Impact Research 6th Aug 2021 Collapse of the Atlantic circulation weakening

A massive Atlantic Ocean current system, which affects climate, sea levels
and weather systems around the world, may be about to be fatally disrupted.
new report in the journal Nature Climate Change describes how a series of Atlantic Ocean currents have reached “an almost complete loss of stability over the last century” as the planet continues to warm.
The report, authored by Dr. Niklas Boers, specifically analyzes data on ocean temperature and salinity to demonstrate that their circulation has weakened over the past few decades. If current trends continue unabated, they may slow to a dangerous level or even shut down entirely.  Potsdam Institute Predicts Imminent Gulf Stream Collapse, Widespread Cooling – Watts Up With That?
The series of currents in question is known as the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, or AMOC for short. The current system is sometimes likened to a series of conveyor belts: one “belt” flows north with warm water that, upon reaching the northern Atlantic, cools and evaporates, in the process increasing the salinity of water in that region. The saltier water becomes colder and heavier, sinking and flowing south to create a second “belt.”
Those two currents are in turn connected by other oceanic features in the Southern Ocean, the Labrador Sea and the Nordic Sea.
Ocean current system seems to be approaching a tipping point (phys.org)

The study reinforces earlier scientific studies which found the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation system to be at its weakest in 1,600 years.
Gulf Stream is at its weakest for over 1,000 YEARS due to climate change – BloomNews

This so-called conveyor belt system has been in place for thousands of years or more, and ocean life is adapted to its rhythms. Indeed, AMOC, which scientists believe can slow down or turn off abruptly when temperatures increase, is also vital to maintaining humanity’s way of life. If it shuts down, temperature will plummet in Europe while the number of storms increases; changing weather conditions will lead to food shortages in South America, India and Western Africa.
Rising sea levels along the North American eastern seaboard will force millions to flee their homes. Considering that AMOC is already starting to decline, this is a serious threat that could radically alter our planet in a matter of mere decades. “This decline may be associated with an almost complete loss of stability over the course of the last century, and the AMOC could be close to a critical transition to its weak circulation mode,” the analysis explains.

This is not the first troubling news which has emerged about AMOC.
In February another study disclosed that AMOC could be weakened by
34% to 45% by the end of the century as Arctic ice and the Greenland Ice Sheet continue to melt. The new report, however, increases the growing sense of scientific alarm about AMOC’s integrity.
“This work provides provides additional support for our earlier work in the same journal Nature Climate Change suggesting that a climate change-induced slowdown of the ocean ‘conveyor belt’ circulation already underway, decades ahead of schedule, yet another reminder that uncertainty is not our friend,”

Dr. Michael E. Mann, at Penn State University, wrote to Salon.
“There are surprises in store, and they are likely to be unpleasant ones,
when it comes to the climate crisis.”
Cristian Proistosescu, an assistant professor at the University of Illinois–Urbana-Champaign who studies climate dynamics and global warming consequences, was more measured in his assessment. “If the worst-case scenario comes to pass — and that’s a big if — we can certainly expect to see dramatic changes in climate in the far north of Europe,” Proistosescu told Salon by email. He described a world in which Scandinavian winters are no longer mild, where precipitation patterns shift as far south as central Africa and in which other meteorological patterns alter radically.
The worst case scenarios may be “somewhat unlikely,” he added, noting that the majority of updated climate models predict a gradual deterioration over the 21st century rather than an abrupt showdown. “The data we have is too short to say with any real confidence whether the collapse of the North Atlantic Overturning Circulation is truly imminent,” Proistosescu concluded.
“The question for me is how risk-averse we should be in the face of uncertainty, and how much do we want to avoid a high cost–low probability worst-case scenario? Given how high the costs would be, we should be fairly risk averse.”

Not every climate expert is impressed with the new study’s conclusions.
Kevin Trenberth,  part of the Climate Analysis Section at the US National Center for Atmospheric Research, told Salon by email that the new report is
“a bunch of total BS. They do not refer to any of our publications about the Atlantic and what is going on there and they get it all wrong.” He added that based on “the best and longer[st] record than they have, the N[orth] Atlantic
is dominated by natural variability and they can not say anything about the longer term changes.”
American atmospheric scientist Ken Caldeira also warned against overstating the situation with AMOC. He wrote to Salon that “it should also be noted that paleo-climate data indicates that a shut-down of the North Atlantic circulation may have more widespread consequences than is predicted by the climate models.” The problem is that even our most sophisticated climate models do not contain enough details to be able to anticipate with certainty what is going to happen in our climate system.

Like Proistosescu, Caldeira urged erring on the side of being safe.
“In this case, uncertainty means risk, and, because effects of our CO2 emissions  are effectively irreversible, this risk should motivate a high
degree of caution,” he concluded.

Scientists say limiting methane could seal our fate on climate change.

By Rachel Ramirez, CNN

Slashing carbon dioxide emissions is critical to ending the climate crisis.
But, for the first time, the UN climate change report emphasized the need to control a more insidious culprit: methane, an invisible, odorless gas with more than 80 times more warming power in the near-term than carbon dioxide.

According to the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the concentration of methane in the atmosphere is higher now than any time in at least 800,000 years. With Earth rapidly approaching the 1.5-degree-Celsius threshold above pre industrial levels, scientists say methane emissions need to be reduced fast. Charles Koven, a lead author of the IPCC report, said this is due to methane’s incredible warming power.
“The fastest way that we might mitigate some of the climate change that we’re seeing already in the short term is by reducing methane,” Koven told CNN.
“If we were to reduce methane emissions, it would act to offset one of these sources of warming.” If the world stopped emitting carbon dioxide tomorrow, Koven said, global temperatures wouldn’t begin to cool for many years because of how long the gas stays in the atmosphere. Reducing methane is the easiest knob to turn to change the path of global temperature in the next 10 years, he said.

Methane, the main component of the natural gas we use to fuel our stoves
and heat our homes, can be produced in nature by belching volcanoes and decomposing plant matter. But it is also pumped into the atmosphere in much larger amounts by landfills, livestock and the oil and gas industry. Natural gas has been hailed as a “bridge fuel” that would transition the US to renewable energy because it is more efficient than coal and emits less carbon dioxide when burned. Importantly for industry, natural gas is in abundant supply around the world and is less costly to extract from the ground.
But proponents for this new “cleaner” gas missed a dangerous threat: that it could leak, unburned, into the atmosphere and cause significant warming.
Methane can leak from oil and natural gas wells, natural gas pipelines and the processing equipment itself. According to data from the US Energy Information Administration, the US has thousands of active wells for natural gas, millions of abandoned oil and gas wells, about two million miles of natural gas pipelines, and several refineries that process the gas.

One in three Americans lives in a county with oil and gas operations, posing climate and public health risks, according to a report by the Environmental Defense Fund. Until recently, tracking the location and magnitude of methane leaks was difficult. Now, infrared cameras and advanced satellites can estimate methane emissions around the globe, giving scientists and regulators insight into what’s being released from facilities.
Climatologists at NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration previously told CNN that pernicious changes in the climate system will only intensify unless people stop using fuels that burn and leak greenhouse gases like methane. “For carbon dioxide, we’ve always known about power plants and smokestacks and things like that; but with methane, until recent years, we didn’t understand how much of an influence a small number of large sources have really had,” Robert Jackson, professor of environmental science at Stanford University, told CNN.

Robert Jackson | Environmental Forum – May 10, 2012

“We didn’t understand how long the tail was and how important the super-emitters were for reducing emissions.” The latest IPCC assessment highlights that scientists now have a better understanding of how much methane is being released by human activity like agriculture and the fossil fuel industry, and how much it contributes to the climate crisis.
Around the world, fossil fuels, agriculture and coal mining are skyrocketing methane emissions. Nonetheless, the production and sources vary by region.
In North America, a majority — 14% of total methane emissions — come from oil and gas production followed by livestock at 10%. In China, coal mining is the biggest methane driver, contributing 24% to total emissions.
Though agriculture is a major source of methane, Jackson said the emissions from farming and food production would be harder to tackle. “There are only certain things we can do with cattle,” Jackson said. “We can either ask people to stop eating beef or we can try and give cattle feed additives to change the microbes in the chemistry of their guts. But that’s not easy to do for billions of cattle around the world.”

The International Energy Agency estimates that the oil and gas industry around the world can reduce methane by 75% using the technology already available. It also estimates that 40% of the emissions could be reduced without extra costs, since the natural gas captured could then be sold.
Climate activists like Lisa DeVille, a member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation, are urging policymakers to make stringent methane reductions. The Bakken oil field in North Dakota surrounds the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation, where DeVille lives, with nearly 1,000 oil and gas wells that scientists found in 2016 was leaking 275,000 tons of methane per year.

“This means the land is part of my identity as an Indigenous woman has
been turned into a pollution-filled industrial zone,” DeVille said. “This is unacceptable.” As the co-founder of the grassroots group Fort Berthold Protectors of Water and Earth Rights, DeVille is tackling environmental regulations head-on. In 2018, the organization successfully sued the Trump administration’s Bureau of Land Management for rolling back a critical methane waste prevention rule.
Global temperatures are now at 1.1 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, according to the report, and the planet is already seeing the impact in the form of extreme fire behavior, severe flooding, relentless drought and deadly heat waves. The IPCC report makes clear that stopping methane emissions is key to slowing the planet from reaching 1.5 degrees. Scientists say world leaders need to act immediately in tackling all greenhouse gas emissions, and not just carbon dioxide.

Democrats could REPLACE Joe Biden with John Kerry as presidential candidate,  claims former White House official (the-sun.com)

Rick Duke, senior director and White House liaison for John Kerry.
President Biden’s special climate envoy, told CNN in a press call that reducing methane, and methane leaks, is a top priority for the Biden administration.
“There’s been an incredible largely behind-the-scenes effort already to prepare to move faster and more comprehensively to cut methane domestically, at the same time that we’re addressing this as a diplomatic imperative,” Duke said.

Already, pressure is mounting.
In June, DeVille discussed tribal issues, particularly slashing methane emissions and transitioning to clean energy quickly and equitably, with Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan.
“What we do in the next few years will determine what kind of world we have, what kind of world we leave for our children,” said DeVille, who is now seeking to meet with Interior Secretary Deb Haaland to discuss similar issues.
“We must rapidly switch to clean energy, stop fossil fuel carbon pollution,
and then methane leaks.”

August 2020 will be remembered for its extreme heat and violent weather:
The U.S. endured heat waves, hurricanes, a devastating derecho and raging wildfires out West. Meteorological summer — June through August’s end — was a standout: It ranked 4th hottest and in the driest one-third of all summers in the historical record.
Here are more highlights from NOAA’s latest monthly U.S. climate report:
Climate by the numbers.

August 2020
The average temperature for August across the contiguous U.S. was 74.7 degrees F (2.6 degrees above the 20th-century average) and ranked third-hottest August on record.
Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah each had their warmest August on record. In particular, Phoenix, Arizona, had its hottest month ever recorded, with an average temperature of 99.1 degrees F.
Also on August 16, Death Valley in California reported a high temperature of 130 degrees F. If verified, this temperature would be the hottest August temperature on record for the U.S.
The average August precipitation for the contiguous U.S. was 2.35 inches (0.27 of an inch below average), which put the month in the driest third of the 126-year record.
Arizona, Nebraska and Utah ranked driest on record for August, while New Mexico and Iowa ranked second and third driest on record, respectively.

Year to date & meteorological summer.
The average U.S. temperature for the year to date (YTD, January through August) was 56.3 degrees F, 2.4 degrees above the 20th-century average. It ended as the 7th-warmest in the YTD record.
The contiguous U.S. has seen 21.64 inches of precipitation for the YTD (0.93 of an inch above the long-term average), placing it in the wettest third of record.
For meteorological summer (June through August), the average temperature for the contiguous U.S. was 73.6 degrees F — 2.2 degrees above the average. Summer 2020 ended with the ranking of 4th-hottest summer on record.
The precipitation total for summer was 7.99 inches (0.33 of an inch below average), which ranked in the driest third of the record.

More notable climate and extreme events!!

Two Atlantic hurricanes made landfall.
Hurricane Isaias struck North Carolina on August 4 and quickly accelerated up the East Coast, bringing widespread damage and power outages across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Hurricane Laura made landfall on August 27 in southwest Louisiana with 150-mph winds. Laura tied the 1856 Louisiana hurricane for having the strongest land-falling winds on record for the state.
Wildfires blazed. Numerous wildfires burned hundreds of thousands of acres across the West. Lightning from unusual summer thunderstorms sparked the second-,third-, and fourth-largest fires on record in California, while the Pine Gulch Fire, near Grand Junction, Colorado, became the state’s largest wildfire in state history.
A devastating derecho swept through. On August 10, a line of severe thunderstorms with widespread winds of more than 100 mph, known as a derecho, raced 700 miles across the central U.S. from Iowa to Ohio and brought significant damage to crops and infrastructure.

The number is actually, 98.2% recovery rate, bro. The 99.7% is only in the youth age group up to 17 years old and; Unfortunately, when we are dealing with as many people getting infected as has/is happening, that accounts for
a lot of lives lost.

I had it for 55 days, I had a good recovery. And I was almost dead. After six months I’m back to work, walking and breathing much better. Never got sick never got anyone sick and I’m still fine! And I won’t be getting the jab —
I got a medical waiver.

I recovered from Covid Pneumonia! Took 8 days in ICU and 4 months to do it. The three others I know that all were hospitalized with Covid last year say they still have difficulty breathing or they can’t run anymore… People get sick even though they wear masks and follow instructions. I know a few people who got severe pneumonia because of Covid and didn’t fully recover because their lungs are now damaged. At least one young colleague is now sick again three months after recovery.

My son had Covid just over a month ago.. He started taking D3 and zinc..

Just like with the flu, which Covid has essentially replaced. They’re propaganda machines for the deep state. The deep state wants to keep the populace divided and afraid. This is what the Nazis did during the Holocaust. Use the media to control information, dehumanize the group they don’t like, make the rest of the population fear them.

Would be nice if Dr. Fraudci shifted the focus for the sheep that still listen to him to mental and physical health as well as a healthy diet. Fighting Liver Cancer from Within

Alfred Cheng’s epigenetic treatment defeats liver cancer’s specialized defenses. By Alex Frew McMillan

Enhancing the immune system.
Liver cancer is a calculating killer. Its tumors have their own defenses that prevent a cancer victim’s body from defeating the disease. But thanks to the investigative epigenetics of Prof. Alfred Cheng Sze-lok, that may be about to change.
The leading form of liver cancer is hepatocellular carcinoma, the third-largest cause of cancer deaths worldwide. The cancer’s prevalence is highest in East Asia, partly as a result of hepatitis B infections, but is increasingly common in Western nations as well due to the rising level of diabetes and obesity.
The existing treatment for that form of liver cancer involves immunotherapy. The drugs contain immune-checkpoint inhibitors, which activate cancer-killing T cells. The cancer suppresses those T cells, so stimulating them can shrink tumors and increase survival rates.
However, only around 15% of patients respond to immunotherapy.
One problem is that liver cancer is a ‘cold’ cancer that walls itself off and prevents T-cells from entering the tumor.

The cancer also co-opts host cells to suppress T cells.
Professor Cheng has striven to find out how those defenses work, therefore, how they can be overcome.
His investigation led to the discovery of an epigenetic regulator, an enzyme known as histone deacetylase 8, or HDAC8. To protect the cancer, HDAC8 prevents the production of chemokines, a molecular signal that encourages
T-cells to come to the body’s assistance.
When mice are treated with a drug that inhibits HDAC8, chemokines are expressed in the normal way, and T cells finally start being able to infiltrate
the tumor. Professor Cheng likens it to police finally being able to break into Kowloon Walled City, a former citadel within Hong Kong that for decades functioned as a law unto itself.
According to lab results shown in the graph above, mice that are implanted with a liver tumor all die within 30 days without treatment. When treated with immunotherapy on its own, the animals survive longer, but all die within 180 days. Likewise, they live longer with epigenetic treatment on its own, but all the animals die within 180 days. When mice are treated with both immunotherapy and epigenetic treatment, all the animals survive longer than 360 days.
‘I was quite surprised, but we re-tested it,’ Professor Cheng says. ‘The duration of the effect is very long.’
Dissection (pictured above) reveals that when mice are given one form of treatment, the cancer shrinks but remains present on the liver. When mice are given both immunotherapy and epigenetic treatment, the cancer is eradicated, leaving only a perfectly healthy liver, which can recover. The findings were recently published in the journal Science Translational Medicine.
Professor Cheng discovered the importance of HDAC8 by investigating which epigenetic genes are active in two animal models: mice that are genetically bred to become obese and develop liver cancer; and mice that develop liver cancer because they are fed with a high-fat, high-carb diet, the equivalent of Coca-Cola and hamburgers.
The team started out with a list of 115 genes to investigate. The HDAC8 gene was the only one ‘upregulated’ in both experiments. ‘We found that it has indeed very prominent tumor-promoting abilities,’ Professor Cheng explains.

The epigenetic work takes the study of cancer beyond what’s going on inside the tumor cell to look at the broader immune microenvironment. Unlike our genetics, which are fixed and determine issues such as our eye color, the field of epigenetics studies genes that are expressed given the influences exerted on them.
‘Epigenetics is a totally different ballgame,’ Professor Cheng says. Gene expression often ‘can be reversed, and the damage is not permanent.

That’s why I wanted to study epigenetics.’
It’s likely that the same treatment would work for other ‘cold’ or immune-excluded cancers, a category that includes ovarian and pancreatic cancers.
‘They also have a high expression of HDAC8 contributing to the coldness of
the tumor,’ Professor Cheng notes. ‘Targeted epigenetic treatment may also be effective.’
The studies in mice have yet to be followed up with human clinical trials. Professor Cheng is collaborating with a drug-development team in Germany, who have produced a series of drugs that can deliver the treatment. Professor Cheng and colleagues from CUHK’s School of Pharmacy will now test which of the German-developed drugs is most effective in mice.

The profile of the drug, if it works, will then need to be adapted for human use. Professor Cheng, who is the chief of cancer biology and experimental therapeutics in CUHK’s School of Biomedical Sciences, is applying for funding to work on that formulation, which may take around a year.

Professor Cheng estimates that, if all goes well with the safety profile and delivery of the drug, a human trial could begin within three years. If that in turn goes well, work could begin for a drug for clinical use.
Around 70% of liver-cancer patients produce high levels of HDAC8. ‘It can be quite beneficial to a substantial portion of patients,’ Professor Cheng says.
Such drugs would be part of the progression towards precision medicine, in which patients are treated differently depending on their genetic makeup and disease profile. Every person has their own different tumor. This way, they would not have to fight the disease alone.
Why men contract liver cancer far more often than women?

Unlocking the difference between the sexes in liver cancer.

image.png

Prof. Alfred Cheng, School of Biomedical Sciences.

The difference between the sexes in contracting various diseases is what fascinates Prof. Alfred Cheng Sze-lok. After first studying estrogen and its impact on breast cancer, he has shifted focus to analyze how the male sex hormone connects to a high incidence of liver cancer.

In men, liver cancer is the second-most common cause of cancer deaths worldwide. It also has a poor range of treatments. The disease is far more prevalent among men than it is with women. The ratio of incidence ranges from 2:1 to as much as 5:1 in some nations.
‘Why are men at a loss?’ Professor Cheng has puzzled over what he calls a ‘remarkable phenomenon.’
The first response is to blame the ‘bad habits’ that men tend to pursue more than women: drinking and smoking. Obesity and hepatitis viruses also play a part. But experiments in animals have shown those extrinsic factors are not enough to explain the gender gap. When exposed to the same ‘insult,’ such as a hepatitis virus, male mice still have a much-higher likelihood of contracting liver cancer than female ones.
Androgen is the male sex hormone that governs the appearance, muscle tone and strength of males. If it is overstimulated—perhaps by the Hepatitis B virus that is most common in China, or the Hepatitis C found very often in Japan—it can lead to the development of cancer. Being overweight can also release the same effect.
Why are men at a loss? Professor Cheng’s research team unveiled a male sex hormone-deregulated pathway that might contribute to liver cancer induced by either hepatitis virus or obesity
Why are men at a loss? Professor Cheng’s research team unveiled a male sex hormone-deregulated pathway that might contribute to liver cancer induced by either hepatitis virus or obesity
His research has honed in on the molecular activity promoted by the male sex hormone in androgen-receptor pathways. If the receptor is overstimulated, it interacts with DNA to activate a cancer-promoting gene, cell-cycle-related kinase (CCRK), that is a potential carcinogen. Professor Cheng has found that CCRK is silent in a normal liver. But in a diseased liver, it can produce abnormal cells, and ultimately tumors.

No one had identified CCRK before, and it’s exacting work to pinpoint such
a gene among the estimated 25,000 in the human body. Of the 200 human samples examined together with clinicians, two-thirds had an over-activated CCRK pathway.
‘The more we study this gene the more different functions we find,’ Professor Cheng notes. No one is yet sure what function if any it serves in a healthy liver. But highly expressed CCRK in a diseased liver modifies proteins that stimulate key ‘signaling cascades,’ ultimately leading to liver cancer.
Even worse, it appears to suppress the immune system of cancer patients, according to the latest findings from Professor Cheng’s team. ‘CCRK can alter or affect the phenotypes of one type of immune cells, and change them from helping the body to being harmful to the body,’ he explains.
So CCRK poses two threats to men.

CCRK structure overlay with small molecule in kinase pocket. Professor Cheng is working closely with experts in chemistry and computer engineering to discover CCRK-targeted drugs
CCRK structure overlay with small molecules in kinase pocket.

Professor Cheng is working closely with experts in chemistry and computer engineering to discover CCRK-targeted drugs. Combating the disease is vital. Most liver-cancer patients remain asymptomatic and undiagnosed until they have an advanced stage of the disease. At that point, it resists most conventional chemotherapy treatments. The survival rate beyond five years is only 18%. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved only one drug, sorafenib, for late-stage liver cancer. It normally only extends life by a couple of months.
Professor Cheng, who holds a post in CUHK’s School of Biomedical Sciences, came to his key findings via a genome-wide analysis of more than 17,000 genes. He found that around 250 genes bind with the androgen receptor. Computational software drawing on the known functions of those genes then identified around 20 that are particularly influential in cell growth. He then pinpointed CCRK as the likeliest to study in cancer formation because this gene binds the most actively with the androgen receptor.

Cross-studies in cellular and animal models validated the approach. CCRK acts as an important ‘signalling hub’ within a gene network. His team also found that CCRK may be induced by obesity and diabetes, twin epidemics worldwide. These findings recently lured sizable funding from the Hong Kong government to conduct a more-detailed investigation.
‘As the research goes on, we’re finding more and more interesting things,’ Professor Cheng says. ‘Kinase is a very promising target for cancer treatment, and it’s important to focus as a researcher or scientist.’
Ultimately this should lead to implications for clinical medicine, including the production of novel molecular therapeutics to reduce liver-cancer risk. Professor Cheng has been working with drug-discovery experts at the University of Sussex to develop small molecules that inhibit CCRK. He also stays in touch with clinical doctors at the Prince of Wales Hospital to keep tabs on what they are seeing first-hand.

‘This complimentary strength and mutual interest is very important,’
Professor Cheng notes. Although he is now a molecular biologist,
he draws on his background in clinical work during his doctorate.

Professor Cheng: 'I really hope that CCRK targeted therapy can be actuated, but for the drug development, we still have a long way to go.'Professor Cheng: ‘I really hope that CCRK targeted therapy can be actuated, but for the drug development, we still have a long way to go.’

Estrogen balancing diet – Bing video
Professor Cheng originally studied how estrogen regulates breast cancer
while pursuing that at Ohio State University. At CUHK, he was encouraged by Vice-Chancellor Joseph Sung to look at liver cancer in males, since it is prevalent in Hong Kong.
The drug-discovery process now involves chemists, computer engineers and oncologists around the world. Professor Cheng would like to work with even more collaborators, to form a network that can work towards generating a
drug for clinical use. His findings have appeared in noteworthy articles in publications such as the Journal of Hepatology and the Journal of Clinical Investigation.

Iodine (I) is essential, which clearly means we need it. Just as we need zinc
or magnesium, we need I. The common iodine deficiency disorders include goiter, hypothyroidism, mental retardation, reproductive impairment, and decreased child survival; however that short group is only the beginning of health problems with a lack of iodine.
Iodine is a powerful antibiotic which destroys viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. For Cancer prevention – Iodine is an important factor in cell apoptosis – the programmed death of unhealthy cells — which results in a reduced risk of sick cells turning malignant.

While he calls that cross-disciplinary approach exciting, its equally challenging. The drug-discovery process requires a cross-border effort that may well take years to bear fruit. At this stage, it is not yet clear that it will, although chances look promising.
Even if the work succeeds, drug approval takes virtually a decade to secure.
‘I really hope that CCRK targeted therapy can be actuated,’ Professor Cheng says. ‘But for drug development, we still have a long way to go.’

Geographers map out the seven deadly sins.

Kansas State University geographers researched and mapped out where the seven deadly sins are most prevalent in the United States. memolition.com

Looking for where the seven deadly sins are most common in America?

There’s a map for that.
Actually, there’s a couple of maps. These maps — originally published in 2009, when Kansas State University geographers researched and mapped out where the seven deadly sins are most prevalent in the United States — recently  resurfaced on Memolition, an online news site, and are gaining attention —  Yahoo News reported.
Each map shows a mostly pale yellow United States with splotches of blue and red splattered throughout. Red regions show where that specific deadly sin is more prevalent, whereas blotches of blue show where it is seen less, according to Yahoo.
“The seven deadly sins … are, in no particular order: wrath, envy, greed, gluttony, sloth, lust and pride,” wrote Mike Krumboltz for Yahoo, adding that the geographers “did some research using data on things such as number of fast food restaurants per capita (gluttony), number of thefts and robberies (envy) and average incomes compared with the number of inhabitants living beneath the poverty line (greed).”

The maps show high amounts of envy, lust, pride and wrath in the southern United States and low amounts of those sins in the Midwest. Gluttony and sloth are barely seen throughout the United States, according to the maps, with only Texas and some Atlantic coast states having high indicators of gluttony and fractions of the country committing sloth. Greed is high in the Northeast, Northwest and Pacific coast of the United States, whereas middle America and parts of the south show low levels of the deadly sin.
This isn’t the first map in recent weeks to show the differences between pockets of the United States. The Washington Post recently published a map that showed different dialects from across the country. Though the map was put together more than 10 years ago, The Washington Post offered a rundown of the findings that separate the different cultures of the country.

“Do you pahk the cah in Hahvahd yahd?”
(Do you refer to multiple people as “dey”?) wrote Reid Wilson. “Do you refer to multiple people as ‘dey’? Is a jelly doughnut called a ‘bismark,’ or is everything that comes out of a soda fountain called a coke, even if it’s really 7-Up?
OR Do you root for Da Bears?”
Business Insider also recently published a map that showed where America’s wealth is seen. Most of the country’s wealth, according to the map, is in the Northeast. “At the county level,” wrote Emily Badger for the Business Insider.

“America is a tremendously unequal place,”

Definition of Sin
Sin is defined as “an offense against the religious or moral law” and a “transgression of the law of God.” The biblical terminology of sin suggests
that sin has three aspects: disobedience to or breach of the law, violation of relationships with people, and rebellion against God, which is the most basic concept.

The seven deadly sins, as identified by Pope Gregory 1 in the late sixth century, are considered categories of sin: pride, envy, wrath, gluttony, lust, sloth, and greed.

Many think the deadly seven are recorded in the Bible. Surprisingly, even though each of the seven is a sin, this list is not contained in Scripture. The history of this sin categorization began in the year 400.
Evagrius Ponticus, a fourth-century monk, described eight evils to resist.
Two centuries later Pope Gregory 1, refined the inventory to seven. Almost every sin can be placed in one of these seven categories. Isaiah 14:13-14 tells
us pride and selfishness are related to each of the seven and are viewed as
the root causes of all sin.

The Seven Deadly Sins in the Bible
Throughout the sweep of the Scripture, these seven specific sins are addressed. Perhaps Exodus, Deuteronomy, Proverbs, and Galatians are some places where the deadly sins were identified.

The 10 Commandments (Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5)
1. You shall have no other Gods before me. 2. Don’t make an idol. 3. Don’t take the Lord’s name in vain. 4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
5. Honor your parents. 6. Don’t murder. 7. Don’t commit adultery.
8. Don’t steal. 9. Don’t lie. 10. Don’t covet.

Proverbs 6:16-19
“There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him,  haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,  a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,  a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” (ESV)

Galatians 5:19-21
This passage adds a few more sins to be aware of: “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (ESV) Sin is a serious, deadly business.

Seven Deadly Sins – Cleansing and Healing Prayer –
Pride, Greed, Lust, Anger, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth!!!

Can Deadly Sins be Forgiven?
Yes, God can forgive all sins. No sin is greater or more deadly than another (Romans 6:23). There are some sins that bear more earthly consequences
than others.
For instance, murder has larger consequences than sinful anger.
No matter the sin, the eternal consequences are the same — separation from a holy God. But no sin too big or too bad that God cannot forgive.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” ~ 1 John 1:9
“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” ~ Mark 11:25

7 Deadly Sins: Their Meanings and What the Bible Says.
By living out godly characteristics and growing in the fruit of the Spirit, Christians can combat the seven deadly sins in their lives.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23).

1. Pride. Definition: the quality or state of being proud:
such as inordinate self-esteem, conceit
Counterpart: Humility, meekness, love God, love others, appropriate self-worth.
2. Envy. Definition: painful or resentful awareness of an advantage
enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage
Counterpart: love, joy, thankfulness, compassion, satisfaction.
3. Wrath. Definition: strong vengeful anger or indignation
Counterpart: peace, gentleness, self-control.
4. Gluttony. Definition: excessive indulgence (typically food or drink)
Counterpart: self-control, contentment, patience, discernment.
5. Lust. Definition: intense or unbridled (sexual) desire, lasciviousness
Counterpart: love, unselfishness.
6. Sloth. Definition: disinclination to action or labor, spiritual apathy,
and inactivity
Counterpart: perseverance, diligence, servanthood.
7. Greed. Definition:  a selfish and excessive desire for more of something (such as money) than is needed (material goods).

How to Deal with Guilt of Sin
In reading over the sin descriptions, we realize we are guilty of committing all of these at one time or another. All sin, according to Romans 6:23, results in death. Paul perfectly captures the human condition in Romans 7:21-25 (NIV):
“So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?

Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!”

Jesus shows, tells, and empowers us to raise our standards from fleshly to spiritual.  He commands us to love others as we love ourselves and love God with our heart, mind, body, and soul (Leviticus 19:18Matthew 22:37-39
Mark 12: 30-31, Luke 10:27Romans 13:9).
When we fix our eyes on Jesus and choose to look more like him, we will
be more aware of our own areas of weakness. We can choose to adjust our thinking and actions by replacing our thoughts with things that are good
and honorable with prayer while looking to Jesus as our teacher and savior.
The Lord accepts us as we are, yet he doesn’t leave us there. He wants us to resemble Him, our Heavenly Father. To combat our sinful nature, prayer is
our weapon. We can pray what I call a replacement prayer.

Replacement Prayer
Lord, replace my pride, envy, wrath, gluttony, lust, sloth, and greed with love for others and love for you. Give me eyes to see others as you see them. Help me view myself in the proper perspective. Change my heart of stone to reflect your heart so I am content and satisfied with the skills, talents, and gifts you have given to me. When I feel hurt, offended, or angry show me how to positively deal with my pain in a way that glorifies you and honors others.
I want to look more like you, Lord, and less like me. Amen
Sin isn’t just bad or immoral behavior. It is an issue of the heart. We all sin, and that sin separates us from the Lord and others. But praise God for the great good news that while we were still sinners, Jesus died for us (Romans 5:8). Salvation cannot be earned. It is God’s gift of grace so no one can boast.  We can be forgiven of all sin, even the big seven, by His grace through faith in Christ (Acts 10:23).
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice
these things, and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:8-9).

WHY DIDN”T OBAMA TAKE AN IQ TEST
The brains of a president

Just how smart do you have to be to lead an entire nation?

Dean Simonton, a researcher and psychologist from UC Davis, sought to quantify the intelligence of U.S. presidents by estimating their IQ levels. Using factors such as intellectual brilliance and openness, Simonton was able to get a picture of how smart our leaders were.

All of the data below is from Simonton’s corrected estimates of the presidents’ IQs after age 18. For context, every IQ test differs, but an average IQ generally hovers around 100.

Humor is a sign of intelligence, too—here are the:

American Marxism

“No matter how dark the night, morning always comes, and our journey begins anew.” They are Soulless creatures who don’t believe in God.

In 2009, Mark R. Levin galvanized conservatives with his unforgettable Manifesto of the Communist Party (marxists.org)

Liberty and Tyranny, by providing a philosophical, historical, and practical framework for halting the liberal assault on Constitution-based values. That book was about standing at the precipice of progressivism’s threat to our freedom and now, over a decade later, we’re fully over that precipice and paying the price.

In American Marxism, Levin explains how the core elements of Marxist ideology are now pervasive in American society and culture—from our schools, the press, and corporations, to Hollywood, the Democratic Party, and the Biden presidency—and how it is often cloaked in deceptive labels like “progressivism,” “democratic socialism,” “social activism,” and more. With his characteristic trenchant analysis, Levin digs into the psychology and tactics of these movements, the widespread brainwashing of students, the anti-American purposes of Critical Race Theory and the Green New Deal, and the escalation of repression and censorship to silence opposing voices and enforce conformity. Levin exposes many of the institutions, intellectuals, scholars, and activists who are leading this revolution, and provides us with some answers and ideas on how to confront them.
As Levin writes: “The counter-revolution to the American Revolution is in full force. And it can no longer be dismissed or ignored for it is devouring our society and culture, swirling around our everyday lives, and ubiquitous in our politics, schools, media, and entertainment.” And, like before, Levin seeks to rally the American people to defend their liberty.

Biden To Be Sworn In On Copy Of The Communist Manifesto.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Joe Biden has announced his plan to be sworn in on his favorite text: a copy of The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.

“I will do my duty to this country and swear on this book that represents the guiding principles of my party,” Biden said in a speech, every word coming out with the utmost effort and with the help of a powerful concoction of drugs.

“For as long as I am your president, whether that is 8 years, 4 years, or less than 24 hours, I will uphold my oath made on this sacred text.” Not every president has been sworn in on the Bible, with Barack Obama being sworn in on a copy of one of his memoirs and George W. Bush being sworn in on a VHS copy of Delta Force. Still, some are criticizing the choice, calling it “anti-American” and “a clear sign of his support for socialism.” These people have had their Twitter accounts deleted for being crazy conspiracy theorists.

Kamala Harris has said she still plans to be sworn in on a Bible, but during rehearsal they were having trouble getting her to touch one without hissing and vomiting with her head spinning around like a lawn sprinkler.

How do you like free speech in communist America?
American Marxism, the forthcoming book by conservative radio host and litigator Mark Levin, hit #2 on Amazon.com among all books on Wednesday — even though the book will only be published in mid-July. The book, which Levin has described as the most important he has ever written, takes on the radical left-wing ideology fueling President Joe Biden’s administration, and explains its various manifestations — from Critical Race Theory in the schools to critical migration theory at the nation’s border.

“And what happened with this book is I was watching and writing and thinking and researching,” Levin explained. “I didn’t come up with the title until about 3 months before I turned it in, because I’m writing about Marxism. I’m writing about where Critical Race Theory comes from? Where’s this … phony climate change movement coming from? Why’s the border open? What is this weird, transgender movement in our classrooms? Where’s that coming from? What’s that all about? And so I figured out what it’s all about, where it all comes from. I provide the scholars and the writings and I comment on who’s doing it and so forth, because I don’t think we can beat it and claw our way back unless we know exactly who the enemy is.”

“The simple title of the book, American Marxism,
will of course offend the left,” Levin said on his radio show Monday.
“The fundamentals of Marxism are what we’re faced with today. It’s that simple. … These are the bastard children of Marx. … And it has spawned numerous movements in this country … These are not democratic socialists in this country, as I’ve said many times. They’re not populists, they’re not ‘progressives,’ they’re not what they choose to call themselves to confound and confuse our fellow citizens,” Levin continued.
“At their core, they are Marxists, whether they work for media organizations, or they’re tenured professors, or they’re playing basketball, whether they’re in Congress. Whether they’re building down buildings, and looting, in our streets, or they’re attacking cops. This is why they cannot tolerate constitutionalism or capitalism.”
“They even use the language of the Marxists,” he added, noting that “moderate” President Biden had adopted the rhetoric of the radical left.
Levin’s book landed as #1 on the list in non-fiction hardcover books and ebooks after selling 330,000 hardcover copies alone in the first week, along with 70,000 copies in other forms, crushing competitors. This comes despite the Times’ history of suppressing conservative books.

In his latest work, Levin explains how the dangers previewed in his Obama-era book Liberty and Tyranny are coming to fruition, detailing the way Marxist ideology has infiltrated key aspects of society, from academia — a breeding place for the toxic ideology —  to the White House as radical leftists hide their efforts under the guise of “democratic socialism” and feel-good terms such as “progressive.”
“I call it American Marxism because it’s the Americanization of Marxism,” Levin said during a July 23 appearance on Breitbart News Daily. “Now you don’t see Joe Biden nationalizing buildings, walking around like Hugo Chávez did and say, ‘See that building. That’s now ours.’ That sort of thing. This is the Americanization of Marxism and the fundamentals, and I explain this in the first chapter. The oppressed and the oppressor. Class warfare. You hear it come from Biden and the Democrats all the time. The rich and the poor like the proletariat and the bourgeoisie.”

“And these are not adversaries. These are not opponents.
They’re the enemy,” he added.
The book comes at a time of conservatives fighting back in the Biden era, as most prominently seen in school board meetings over the left’s efforts to make Critical Race Theory a mainstay in classrooms.
“The counterrevolution to the American Revolution is in full force,”
Levin writes, identifying Marxism as that counterrevolution, as Breitbart News previewed:
It is Marxism and its various guises — socialism, “democratic socialism,” radical environmentalism, and so on — that destroy liberty, prosperity, and ultimately humanity.
American Marxism walks through various left-wing social movements and shows how each of them — Critical Race Theory; the movement for “amnesty” for illegal aliens; the push by environmentalists for “degrowth” — all have their roots in classical Marxism.
The most radical environmentalists, Levin notes, say that Marxism does not go far enough, because Marx still presumes economic growth. But all are hostile to America as it was founded, and as we know it today.

“Far more Americans love this country than hate it. And they’re not going
to roll over. Not now. Not ever,” Levin told Breitbart News in an exclusive statement. “There’s a big and growing movement that will surprise the hate-America crowd.”
Levin is not the only one who has recognized this emerging theme of Marxism taking root in America. During an exclusive 65-minute sit-down On The Hill interview with Breitbart News this month, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) framed the culture war as a battle between Marxist ideology and Judeo-Christian values.
“The way I look at this culture war is you’ve got the left and those that are pushing towards Marxism,” Blackburn told Breitbart News Washington Political Editor Matthew Boyle. “They are lined up on one side. You have those that are more constitutionalists and traditionalists who want to preserve our American values of faith, family, freedom—preserve free markets—they are on the other side.”
Rev. Franklin Graham agreed, applauding the senator and recognizing the ever-emerging dynamic as “a war between Judeo-Christian values and Marxism, which the Democratic party is pushing.”

Democrats, meanwhile, have continued to push their radical ideology by
way of their incestuous relationship with the corporate media — a major theme thoroughly detailed in Alex Marlow’s New York Times bestseller Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption.
Notably, President Biden’s scandal-plagued son Hunter released a memoir this year, which landed as No. 12 on the Publishers Weekly hardcover nonfiction chart after selling just 10,638 copies. Levin currently holds the No. 1 spot on the list, topping Jesse Watters’ How I Saved the World and Michael Wolff’s Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency.

990 – Was Jesus a Catholic? Thoughtful Theology with Michael Knowles
On an exciting Sunday interview edition of The Charlie Kirk Show, Charlie sits down with author of the new book ‘Speechless,’ Michael Knowles for an in-depth, expansive, and thoroughly exciting conversation on liberty, “Libertarians,” and the necessity of authority and order before transitioning into a lively back and forth on Catholicism. Coming from an evangelical, protestant tradition, Charlie presses Michael on whether or not Jesus was the “first Catholic,” the virginity of Mary, siblings of the Savior, the Pope, the printing press, intercession and veneration—and much, much more, believe it or not. All of that packed into one action-packed and extremely thoughtful episode with a longtime friend of the show, Michael Knowles.

Yet, for the inhumane leftwing activists at the Washington Post, it’s an opportunity to attack Governor Ron DeSantis with the hope that they can tie this to him somehow. Then, Olympian Gwen Berry was prepared with her “Activist Athlete” t-shirt this weekend to take a stand against the very country she was competing for. President Biden contributes to this destructive ideology with his hateful rhetoric which is echoed by Jen Psaki. Those who hate America will always focus on how to cast America in a negative light.
Later, political indoctrination like Lat-Crit or critical Latino theory developed by white liberals suggests that white Protestant colonists are the illegal aliens, not the indigenous people and Hispanics that originally inhabited the land. Moreover, critical gender theory professes that binary sexes have been replaced by 58 different gender types. This ideological oligopoly is supported by the media, academia, and big tech and will destroy history in the process. Then, do propagandists dressed up as tenured professors care about humanity and the crime wave that is sweeping the nation?

The democrat party has unleashed an inhumane crime wave.
The Marxist left displays a strikingly high degree of inhumanity primarily from cities run by Democrats with largely minority populations suffering at the hands of other minorities from the Democrat Party. Finally, the climate change movement is just another of the Marxist Democrat’s ways of controlling us and taking away our rights. This is an ideology that is dressed up in polar bears and melting ice caps in order to hide the iron fist. It is a grave threat to our existence, and the Biden administration has embraced a vast part of it.

BOTTOMLINE: THEY’RE ALL NUT JOBS!!!

I don’t care if you’re black or white, Christian or Muslim.

It matters nothing to me if you’re Republican or Democrat, if you’re gay or straight. You can be rich or you can be poor, I don’t care. Man or woman, to me it’s all the same. I care about people & the lives of people. They stopped teaching history in schools so they could brainwash us to repeat it.
They don’t want to teach our children civics anymore… They don’t want them to know their rights.… It’s easier to take their rights away if they don’t know what they’re fighting for. “Don’t know much about history . . .,” goes the famous song. It’s an apt motto for the Common Core’s elementary school curriculum. And it’s becoming a serious problem.

KIDS DON’T KNOW THEIR HISTORY [History teacher shocked at lack of knowledge]

Why schools have stopped teaching American history (nypost.com)
A 2014 report by the National Assessment of Educational Progress showed that an abysmal 18 percent of American high school kids were proficient in US history. When colleges such as Stanford decline to require Western Civilization classes or high schools propose changing their curriculum so that history is taught only from 1877 onward (this happened in North Carolina), it’s merely a blip in our news cycle.

A 2012 story in Perspectives on History magazine by University of North Carolina professor Bruce VanSledright found that 88 percent of elementary school teachers considered teaching history a low priority. The reasons are varied. VanSledright found that teachers didn’t focus on history because students aren’t tested on it at the state level.

Why teach something you can’t test?

A teacher I spoke with in Brooklyn confirmed this.
She said, “All the pressure in lower grades is in math and English Language Arts because of the state tests and the weight that they carry.” She teaches fourth grade and says that age is the first time students are taught about explorers, American settlers, the American Revolution and so on. But why so late?
VanSledright also found that teachers just didn’t know enough history to teach it. He wrote there was some “holiday curriculum as history instruction,” but that was it. Arthur, a father in Brooklyn whose kids are in first and second grade at what’s considered an excellent public school, says that’s the only kind of history lesson he’s seen. And even that’s been thin. His second-grade daughter knows George Washington was the first president but not why Abraham Lincoln is famous.

Cal Thomas: Socialism never? – Baltimore Sun

As the parent of a first-grader, I’ve also seen even the “holiday curriculum” in short supply. First grade might seem young, but it’s my daughter’s third year in the New York City public school system after pre-K and kindergarten. She goes to one of the finest public schools in the city, yet knows about George Washington exclusively from the soundtrack of the Broadway show “Hamilton.” She wouldn’t be able to tell you who discovered America.

Which leaves . . . Martin Luther King.
So far, she has encountered no mention of any historical figure except for Martin Luther King Jr. This isn’t a knock on King, obviously. He’s a hero in our house. But he can’t be the sum total of historical figures our kids learn about in even early elementary school. For one thing, how do we tell King’s story without telling the story of the Founding Fathers, the Constitution or of Abraham Lincoln?

King’s protests were effective because they were grounded in the idea that America was supposed to be something specific, that the Constitution said so — and that we weren’t living up to those ideals. The Brooklyn teacher I spoke with says instructors balk when it comes to history: They don’t want to offend anyone. “The more vocal and involved the parents are, the more likely the teacher will feel uncomfortable to teach certain things or say something that might create a problem.”

She cited issues around Thanksgiving, like teaching the story of pilgrims and the Native Americans breaking bread together as one that teachers might sideline for fear of parents complaining. Instead of addressing sticky subjects, we skip them altogether. As colleges around the country see protests to remove Thomas Jefferson’s statues from their campuses, it’s becoming the norm to erase the parts of history that we find uncomfortable. It’s not difficult to teach children that the pilgrims or Thomas Jefferson were imperfect yet still responsible for so much that is good in America.

Jay Leno used to do a segment on his show called “Jay-Walking,” where he’d come up to people on the street and ask them what should’ve been easy historical questions. That their responses were funny and cringe worthy enough to get them on the show tells you how well it went. Leno never asked the year the Magna Carta was published or when North Dakota became a state.

He would ask what country we fought in the Revolutionary War, to name the current vice president or how many stars are on the American flag. And yet adults had no idea. We talk often about how fractured our country has become. That our division increases while school kids are taught less and less about our shared history should come as no surprise.

WTH is constitutional mustard 😂 doesn’t pass constitutional muster?

Short answer: Does the problem meet the constitutional requirements?
Long answer: Muster refers to a collection or assemblage. For this purpose, the term is being used to refer to the collection of all legal/constitutional issues of interest. The term muster is used not only for constitutional issues but has a broader definition as well. Understanding that may help in understanding the other.
If you’ve served in the military then you have probably participated in muster.
The task is often undertaken for the purpose of assembling the troops for inspection or preparation for battle. Not altogether different for a court’s purpose in bringing together all of the issues for review. The term “constitutional muster” is then used to refer to the review process as to the constitutionality of a particular law.

When constitutionality is called into question, a case will be made that the law has caused damage to a person or entity. If the likelihood of damage can be shown, the person or entity is said to have standing to sue in order to attempt to have the law struck down as being unconstitutional.
Any law or statute may be deemed unconstitutional as applied, which means as applied to the specific case, although it may retain its constitutionality in other situations. On the other hand, there are times when only certain sections of a statute are ruled unconstitutional and the remainder is allowed to stand. A law may also be ruled unconstitutional on its face, or fatally flawed, which means it is unconstitutional in its entirety.

Ultimately, the question of constitutional muster is one of standards of review. To review constitutionality the Supreme Court — or lower court in some cases — will apply one of the standards for reviewability. These are commonly referred to as “scrutiny,” meaning the level to which a law must rise in order to be considered constitutional.
At the heart of this scrutiny is an initial position that any law created by Congress, or those by the individual states when being measured under the question of constitutionality, is by its nature constitutional. The presumption is that the legislative body has good cause for the law; however, depending on the type of law it may fall within one of three major forms of scrutiny.

Almost two years have passed since the “deep state” became a part of the American lexicon. It was in early February 2017, just weeks after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, that news reports first mentioned  the term’s increased use within the president’s inner circle.
Over the following months the president and supporters of his administration publicly embellished upon the deep state’s meaning and significance, making it into a catchphrase for perceived internal adversaries within Washington.
News analysis of the phenomenon has done much to shed light on how the worldview of right-wing activists such as Steve Bannon and Alex Jones helped introduce administration allies to the concept of the “deep state.”  Though the term has been cause for much circumspection within political media, it is now clear that the notion of the deep state has assumed some importance for the American public.

According to a Monmouth poll from the spring of 2018, a total of 37 percent of respondents had heard of a thing called the deep state. When asked if they believed there was “a group of unelected government and military officials who secretly manipulate or direct national policy,” almost three-quarters of respondents agreed such a “deep state” existed.
The concept of the deep state has been a subject of interest for me for some time now. As a historian of the Republic of Turkey, I was first exposed to the term almost 20 years ago as a graduate student. When I began to first visit Turkey in the early 2000s, anyone who spoke of the deep state did not do so facetiously or critically. Serious people not only accepted the existence of a Turkish deep state, but they tended to believe it comprised an important element that defined Turkey’s past.

For more than a decade much of my research has been dedicated to understanding many of the individuals, institutions and events associated with the Turkish deep state. Among the works that inspired me to look more closely at Turkey’s deep state phenomenon were books and articles written by a Canadian diplomat-turned-professor named Peter Dale Scott. His 1993 book published by University of California Press, Deep Politics and the Death of JFK, caught my attention as one of the few academic studies to frame American history in a light similar to Turkish discussions of the deep state.
In 2007, I had a chance to interview Scott on a (thankfully) short-lived podcast I had published while a professor at Long Island University. Our discussion occurred within weeks of the publication of his newest work, The Road to 9/11, in which he used the term the “deep state” for the first time. It was as a result of this book, and the exposure he received thereafter from Alex Jones and others, that many Americans first entertained the notion that a deep state lorded over the United States.

What follows is not so much a quest to debate or define the deep state’s existence but to trace the history of how and why the phrase entered American parlance. It is a story that begins first in Turkey, where the term was first conceived, and stretches into how scholars and commentators have applied it elsewhere. How Peter Dale Scott learned of the concept and came to relate it to the United States is instructive as to the insights and pitfalls that have long marked the evolution of the concept.
Conspiracies inside of government, or the appearance of conspiracy, can be found within the annals of most countries, including the United States. Revelations concerning these plots have often led observers to conclude that secret cabals are intrinsic to a nation’s politics, forming institutions unto itself. Aspects of Turkish history, as well as cases elsewhere, suggest that such a phenomenon is not completely the product of fantasy. Yet defining what exactly constitutes a deep state, let alone documenting its existence, is another matter. The story of how the deep state entered American consciousness underscores the inexact science and fancifulness that hampers any discussion of secret states and shadow governments.

Turkey: The Ur Deep State?
It is not possible to talk about the development of modern Turkey without considering its history of governmental conspiracies. Conspiratorial parties and events lie at the heart of several important events that have defined the country’s modern history. It is abundantly clear, for example, that the Republic of Turkey was established by individuals who had helped form a veritable “state within a state” during the later years of the Ottoman Empire. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the country’s founder, was counted among the seminal members of the Committee of Union and Progress (CUP), the political party that ruled the empire during its final decade. While the CUP upheld the façade of being an open party committed to parliamentary government and the rule of law, its members maintained a secret parallel system of control over the country.
As the empire entered the final throes of its collapse, the CUP relied upon its clandestine arms to maintain power and eliminate perceived threats to the state. Among the chief acts associated with this concealed power structure was the Armenian genocide, which was in part executed with the aid of paramilitaries and civilian loyalists linked to the CUP. While Atatürk may have stayed aloof of the government’s anti-Armenian policies, secretive CUP operatives proved instrumental in supporting his rise in the lead-up to the republic’s establishment in 1923.

For some scholars, the CUP era led to the development of a culture of conspiracy and subversion within the ranks of the Turkish state. The repeated military coups that wracked Turkey during the 20th century are often depicted as a legacy of the CUP’s dependency upon cabals within the Ottoman army to maintain its grip over the empire. Of all the events that have come to epitomize the role of secret factions within Turkish history, the so-called Susurluk Incident of 1996 stands as the clearest and most visceral case pointing to the enduring power of clandestine actors. The case, which exposed the government’s recruitment of gangsters as hitmen to prosecute its dirty war against the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK), appeared to point to a broader pattern of malfeasance and violence among members of Turkey’s political establishment.

Susurluk seemed to suggest that the elected government was merely a shell that masked the identity of the country’s true rulers, a list which included elements of the military, the intelligence service, the mafia, and the business elite. The goal of this alliance, it was generally assumed, was simple: kill or discredit anyone who they believed threatened the integrity of the Turkish state and nation. The secretive, extralegal nature of this presumed establishment was essential to what most citizens came to believe was Turkey’s deep state.
The Susurluk incident helped popularize the notion of the “deep state,” but it did not necessarily spawn its conception. To this day, it is not entirely clear who coined the phrase or when it was first used. Although some have posited that it was first used by leftist commentators before 1996, one journalist has suggested that the expression first came from the lips of the government minister who helped recruit the Susurluk assassins. Regardless of its precise point of origin, the concept became an essential part of the Turkish vocabulary by the start of the new century.

Even though there was little agreement as to exactly who or what constituted the Turkish deep state, popular anxiety over the existence of a parallel system of government authority was among the most important factors to lead to the election of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s Justice and Development Party (AKP) in 2002. As prime minister, Erdogan pledged a “clean hands” approach to government and vowed to root out the deep state, which he contended had existed since the last days of the Ottomans.
In 2008, it appeared that he had begun to deliver upon this promise. Over the next several years, prosecutors alleged that a single secret organization, calling itself Ergenekon, had been behind a string of conspiracies aimed at undermining and controlling the Turkish state. The roots of this cabal, which purportedly comprised senior military officers, officials, politicians, gangsters, and journalists, were depicted as decades old, dating back to events even before the Susurluk scandal.

Convictions in the Ergenekon trial were widely heralded as a sign that the deep state had finally met its match (a conclusion Erdogan himself promoted). Yet even at the time, critics raised doubts about the validity of the government’s case, casting it as an attempt to weaken opponents to the AKP government. Ahmet Şık, a prominent investigative journalist, was among the first to claim that the Ergenekon investigation was an enterprise directed by police and state attorneys loyal to a religious movement headed by Fethullah Gülen, a U.S.-based cleric then allied with Erdogan’s government.
The eventual split between Erdogan and Gülen, which may have prompted the attempted coup of July 2016, has done much to cloud what the Turkish deep state ever meant. According to state prosecutors and many pro-Erdogan commentators today, Turkey’s deep state was in fact long controlled by Gülen and his followers (a charge, partisans argue, substantiated by the 2016 coup as well as the roles Gülenists played in prosecuting the Ergenekon trials). Ahmet Şık, who is now a member of parliament, has countered that the AKP had ultimately bested Gülen in a struggle for control over the deep state, leading to the creation of “a mafia sultanate” run by Erdogan himself.

The present-day debate over Turkey’s deep state reflects long-simmering tensions as to how the concept is understood. Since 1996, scholars or commentators have wrangled over the true definition of the deep state, as well as the particulars that marked its development during the republic’s history. There is a strong consensus, for example, that the Turkish deep state was heavily influenced by the creation of a secret NATO-led unit called Operation Gladio. As a clandestine force within the ranks of the Turkish state, Gladio was suspected of being an independently operated “stay-behind force” meant to combat accused communists and other supposed subversives in the case of a war with the Soviet Union.

How instrumental this unit was in forming Turkey’s deep state, let alone how it evolved over time, has long remained somewhat elusive for researchers. Aggravating the debate over its significance is the virtual absence of verifiable government files pointing to the group’s existence or activities.
In lieu of hard evidence, press interviews with supposed witnesses and participants of this “counter-guerrilla” unit have supplied the bulk of the details. Testimony drawn from hearsay and dubious sources similarly bedeviled state-run investigations into the Susurluk and Ergenekon cases.
It is now abundantly clear that prosecutors in the Ergenekon investigation fabricated evidence and relied heavily on the accounts of secret or questionable witnesses. Official government agencies in Turkey have provided no help in attempting to settle questions regarding the country’s deep state past. No formal declassification system exists in Turkey with respect to state records. Save for the archives run by the office of the prime minister, none of the country’s principal ministries allow for easy public access to their records.

Turkey’s internal deliberations over its supposed deep state at first inspired only a small handful of researchers to look for deep states in other countries. Scholars have used the concept as a jumping-off point for inquiries into a select number of cases, such as the imposition of military rule in Cold War Greece and the enduring influence of the army and bureaucracy over the Thai government. The protests that erupted in Cairo’s Tahrir Square in 2011, followed by the overthrow of the Muslim Brotherhood government of Mohammed Morsi, inspired several comparisons between Egypt’s deep state and that of Turkey
Osama bin Laden’s discovery in May 2011 led others to apply the deep state moniker to Pakistan’s intelligence apparatus, the ISI, due to the influence it exercises in Karachi. The first scholarly effort to internationalize the concept of the deep state came in an essay published in 2009 by Norwegian scholar Ola Tunander. In his reading of a wave of terrorist attacks staged by members of the Italian clandestine service during the height of the Cold War, Tunander argued that the deep state (regardless of where one might find it) is in fact one function of what Hans Morgenthau had earlier called the modern “dual state.”

As an entity separate from the transparent, officially recognized “democratic” state, the deep state historically represented coalitions within the government that worked to “veto” or “fine tune” policies related to national security. When elected governments threaten the deep state’s domestic or international interests, actors aligned with this coalition (which Tunander associates with the military, the clandestine service, the mafia, and far-right political activists) employ any means to reverse the state’s political course.

Tunander presented this view of the deep state before a conference held in Melbourne in 2006. The event, which was dedicated to the study of “parapolitics and shadow governance,” featured several well-regarded scholars of organized crime and various regional fields. With the exception of Tunander, none who participated utilized the term “deep state” within the context of their presentations. Some scholars favored similar conceptual terms, such as “parapolitics,” a more general term used to describe the institutional relationships between state actors and nefarious groups.
Attending the conference was the scholar perhaps best known for popularizing the concept of “parapolitics,” Peter Dale Scott. Up until that point, Scott later explained, he had never heard of the deep state but was taken by Tunander’s analysis of Italy and its applicability elsewhere. “I was very gratified,” he told me in 2007, to realize “how closely, how very closely, my analysis of America fit Ola Tunander’s [thinking] of both America and other states.”

Through the Looking Glass: The Deep State Comes to America
As a literature professor at the University of California at Berkeley, Peter Dale Scott’s involvement in anti-war politics provided the first spark for his scholarship. His activism culminated in 1972 with the publication of his first book, The War Conspiracy, in which he argued that the U.S. intelligence community had helped drive Washington into intervening in Vietnam. His continued interest in the war’s origins soon spawned greater interest in the Kennedy assassination, a moment many activists pointed to as a turning point in America’s involvement in Southeast Asia.
Amid his research on Kennedy, Scott continued to publish, releasing an edited volume on Iran-Contra and the role cocaine traffickers played in the scandal. By the time University of California Press released Deep Politics and the Death of JFK, Oliver Stone’s cinematic treatment of the assassination had come and gone in theaters, stirring a groundswell of interest. Yet unlike most works on the controversy, Deep Politics expends little energy contesting what is revealed in the Zapruder film or debating the merits of the “magic bullet theory.”

The assassination, as Scott would have it, opened windows into a variety of issues often kept hidden from the public’s view. The Warren Commission, as well as Congress’s re-examination of the investigation in 1976, revealed a treasure trove of insights into the CIA’s relationship with organized crime and its surveillance activities inside the United States. In probing the biographies and events associated with the killing, Scott points to a multitude of forces that sought to reverse Kennedy’s policies, deepen the Cold War, and further right-wing causes. While highlighting the importance of the clandestine forces that potentially benefited from the assassination, at no point does Deep Politics offer a concrete alternative version to what happened in Dealey Plaza. “You can’t solve the case,” Scott suggested to me in 2007, “but we can learn a lot more about America by studying the case.”
In lieu of discarding Oswald and unmasking JFK’s true killers, Deep Politics draws a much broader historical lesson from the assassination. Kennedy’s death, in Scott’s view, was not a random, external plot that hit the United States.

 (1) Was JFK Shot From a Sewer?   (2) JFK was shot from the sewer!!!
It was more likely that it represented a “systemic adjustment” meant to override Kennedy’s impulses toward liberal reform at home and military de-escalation abroad. While putting no names to the conspiracy, Scott hypothesizes that a grand coalition of forces found within “public government, organized crime and private wealth” engineered and profited from the president’s death.

Deep Politics muses that JFK’s killing was just one episode within a string of cases that resulted in the continuation of the Cold War and the defense of illiberal practices at home (cases which may have included Watergate and Iran-Contra). Yet for whatever “parapolitics” or “deep politics” that resided behind the Kennedy assassination and other controversial events, Scott offers no definitive ruling as to what to name this parallel source of authority.
His participation in the 2006 conference in Melbourne ultimately provided him with a more fitting diction for what he attempted to describe in Deep Politics. Though he had attended the event to discuss his work on drug trafficking and politics in Mexico, he found in Ola Tunander’s paper a novel framework that could be applied to a new research project he had begun. In The Road to 9/11: Wealth, Empire and the Future of America, Scott describes the American deep state as the potentially unwitting author and direct beneficiary of the 2001 attack.

As in Deep Politics, he does not offer an alternative narrative for what happened on 9/11 (although he does countenance the work of David Ray Griffin and others who contend that the attacks were the product of a conspiracy beyond al-Qaeda). He instead spends much of the book charting the history of covert U.S. intervention abroad and how these policies helped give rise to Osama bin Laden. For Scott, the clandestine actors who helped lay the foundations of al-Qaeda were the same as those who helped drive and engineer U.S. foreign policy since the Cold War (specifically, elements of the U.S. intelligence community, the oil industry and organized crime).
Washington’s reaction to 9/11 was similarly the product of the deep state’s historical development. In explaining the origins of the Patriot Act and Guantanamo, Scott argues that members of the Bush administration (principally Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld) had favored similar policies dating back to the 1970s. Among the more jolting claims of The Road to 9/11 is the supposition that Cheney and Rumsfeld had helped craft “a continuity of government” plan under Reagan which called for the suspension of the Constitution and the opening of FEMA-run internment camps in the event of a national crisis. Elements of this plan, Scott hypothesizes, were instituted on or after 9/11.

Like Deep PoliticsThe Road to 9/11 was published as a peer-reviewed monograph by University of California Press. Both works are heavily footnoted. Although some government records provide the basis of his evidence, Scott largely relies upon the work of investigative journalists and other press sources as the main foundation of his analysis. To date, very few academic journals have published reviews of the book (of the few that exist, Ola Tunander offered the most glowing appraisal of the work). Academia’s ambivalent reception of the book did little to undermine the book’s exposure elsewhere.
In February 2008, Scott made his first appearance on Alex Jones’s radio show, Infowars. By then, Alex Jones was just beginning to become a national phenomenon. Jones’s contention that the 9/11 attacks were an “inside job” had already given rise to a “truther” movement aimed at exposing the role of the CIA, the Mossad and international industrialists (principally those associated with the Bilderberg Group) in the attack. Scott’s findings connected immediately with this line of thinking. Thereafter he made further live appearances on Infowars and published articles on the show’s website.

Other contributors to Alex Jones’s brand soon began to integrate the deep state into their own analysis of the Obama administration and the U.S. government at large. By 2016, Infowars prophesied that Donald Trump was the man most likely to defeat the deep state, which one commentator likened to a “satanic alliance” made up of bankers, “corporatists” and members of America’s military-industrial complex. The deep state did not become a fixture of Steve Bannon’s news site, Breitbart, until a month after election day.
In a lengthy survey outlining what the author suggested would be a forthcoming struggle between “The Deep State vs. Donald Trump,” an anonymous contributor, Virgil (who some commentators assume to be Bannon), depicted the American deep state as a massive informal government comprising untold thousands of “bureaucrats, technocrats and plutocrats” committed to driving President-elect Trump from power. “It stretches across the whole of the federal government – indeed the entire country,” Virgil warned. “And it includes not only bureaucrats, but also a galaxy of contractors, profiteers, and others in the nominal private sector.”

It should be said that scholars other than Peter Dale Scott had toyed with ideas similar to the deep state within the American context. Tufts University Professor Michael Glennon proffered the term “double government” as early as 2014 in analyzing the lingering national security institutions that spanned the Bush and Obama administrations. The continuities between Bush and Obama, he argued, demonstrated the country had “moved beyond a mere imperial presidency to a bifurcated system – a structure of double government – in which even the President now exercises little substantive control over the overall direction of U.S. national security policy.”
Like Scott, Glennon traces the history of double government to the earliest stages of the Cold War and associates it with the expanded authority exercised by the military and the intelligence community during this era. Yet at no point does he paint America’s double government as wedded to the mafia or global corporations. Nor does he seize upon events such as the JFK assassination as evidence of the double government’s existence.

At this point, it is not likely that “double government” will evoke the same power and significance as the deep state. Since the spring of 2017, the deep state has become firmly entrenched within America’s political diction as the principal expression associated with parallel sources of power or clandestine politics. Efforts to define its substance have since varied from sincerely earnest endeavors to acts of pure ridicule.
In the last year, the term has assumed an especially partisan connotation within the United States. At least four of President Trump’s most noted supporters  have published book-length accounts of the deep state’s campaign to undermine his administration. Scott, meanwhile, has continued to write and give interviews on the subject, stating recently that he hopes both “Trump and the deep state will bring the other to behave more moderately”.

Looking Back to Look Forward
If the debates since February 2017 have achieved anything, it is to underscore the tensions that have long beset the deep state’s rhetorical history. Since it was first coined over 20 years ago, no precise definition for what it means has fully taken hold. Use of the phrase generally denotes belief in an informal or parallel government that exists to countermand legitimate, usually more democratic, institutions. Who constitutes this shadow government depends widely on whom you ask and where or when the discussion takes place. While the term originated with reference to the hold security institutions have over state and society (such as in Turkey), the list of deep state actors can include social groups accused of exploiting everyday citizens, like the mafia, “big business” or ideological extremists.
Up until February 2017, extreme political events were usually the catalysts for those who found the term fitting or helpful. In other words, “it’s the deep state” has served as a concise answer for those who question the true origins of any number of extraordinary, usually violent, episodes: Susurluk, the JFK assassination, 9/11, and so on. What is remarkable about the deep state’s arrival to America is that it has been used so preemptively.

For pundits who now use the term  seriously,  the American deep state matters because it is capable of or intent upon unseating President Donald Trump and not necessarily because of what it has done before. Whether scholars will continue to engage in debate around the deep state remains to be seen. Given the partisan political radioactivity that has enveloped the concept, it is likely that most credible academics will think twice before trying to distill or prove the existence of a deep state.
What the term’s historical evolution also seems to suggest is the degree to which the hunt for shadow governments has always been elusive.
There are certainly many historical cases that seem to point to secret plots and hidden Cabals within governments. Efforts to document and contextualize such conspiracies are not always driven by wild-eyed paranoia or political agendas. In the case of the United States, charges of conspiracy within the government have prompted important public revelations. Popular skepticism regarding the JFK assassination, e.g., did also induce Congress to initiate a new investigation, leading to shocking official admissions regarding the CIA’s domestic surveillance efforts and its attempts to recruit elements of the American mafia.

Whether such disclosures constitute evidence of sustained political cabals or shadow governments is often where discussions of the deep state become problematic.
Proposing that an institutional deep state exists assumes that a variety of individuals and groups coordinate with one another (harmoniously or otherwise) in spite of the passage of years and changes to personnel and regimes. Making such a claim becomes even more fraught as one expands the list of deep state actors to include blanket categories such as the media, organized crime or “big oil.”
It is one thing to argue that bureaucracies can resist change or believe that private citizens or groups can quietly influence policymakers. It is yet another to assume that such interests form distinct collectives that can transcend decades or generations without evolving or breaking down. To suppose that a deep state constitutes a permanent fixture within states can lead one to construe it as an actual organization with a consistent cast of individuals who meet and plot over long periods of time. The prospects for proving the existence of such a parallel state, in the form of government documents or independent testimony, is dubious at best. More often than not, the search for a deep state provides license for those seeking to conflate and marginalize political dissidents and opponents.

One lesson to be gleaned from the conceptual development of the deep state concerns the issue of transparency. At the heart of the deep state’s rhetorical appeal lies a distrust in government, especially governments (or parts thereof) that are believed to be less than forthcoming. The secretive or closed nature of many institutions regularly associated with the concept, such as militaries and intelligence services, readily amplifies fears of deeper conspiracies. One way to remedy the cause for such suspicions is to ensure that state archives are open to the public and are administered in predictable and transparent ways.
In the case of the United States, mandating the release of all state documents after standard periods of time is one possible solution (as seen in Britain’s “twenty-year rule”). Such a system would eliminate much of the paperwork, expense and confusion that plague researchers and archivists who utilize the National Archive in College Park, Maryland. However, the likelihood that policymakers in Washington would be comfortable with allowing greater public access to state records is undoubtedly slim. Despite improvements under the Obama administration, the declassification of contemporary and historical documents  remains  uneven.

In addition to official apprehensions about the release of previously held secrets, Congress has consistently slashed the budget of the National Archive (operating expenditures of the archive dropped 8% between 2008 and 2018). Any amelioration of the archive’s budget, not to mention improving public access, would be a subtle, but important step in restoring public confidence in state institutions and help combat the distrust that undergirds belief in the deep state.
