Communists hate the free market and Biden’s plan is to put us so far in debt we won’t be able to pay the interest. Then our money will be worthless and they will be able to usher it into socialism. Biden’s spending spree is killing the construction industry. Many in that field say when they get a quote from suppliers they are good for only 24 hours.

Think your body is your own to control and dispose of as you wish? Think again. The United States Patent Office has granted at least 40,000 patents on genes controlling the most basic processes of human life, and more are pending. If you undergo surgery in many hospitals you must sign away ownership rights to your excised tissues, even if they turn out to have medical and fiscal value. Life itself is rapidly becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of the medical- industrial complex.

Deadly Monopolies is a powerful, disturbing, and deeply researched book that illuminates this “life patent” gold rush and its harmful, and even lethal, consequences for public health. It examines the shaky legal, ethical, and social bases for Big Pharma’s argument that such patents are necessary to protect their investments in new drugs and treatments, arguing that they instead stifle the research, competition, and innovation that can drive down costs and save lives. In opposing the commodification of the body, Harriet Washington provides a crucial human dimension to an often all-too-abstract debate.

Like the bestseller The Immortal Life of Henrietta LacksDeadly Monopolies reveals in shocking detail just how far the profit motive has encroached in colonizing human life and compromising medical ethics.

Economics professor Dr. Asatar Bair – applauds the Soviet Union ruler Joseph Stalin’s discussion style and contributions to Marxism …. while others point out that Stalin’s regime killed millions of people.

The man was neither savior nor saint, but he was, at once, a very successful revolutionary, a contributor to Marxist theory, and said to be a great listener and collaborator during discussions.

Stalin intentionally starved millions of Ukrainian’s, killed millions and purged his own people and threatened the free world until 1953.
See You Again – Music Travel Love (Lyrics).

Tell us more about this ‘fair and balanced’ view you hold?
The fairness doctrine of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), introduced in 1949, was a policy that required the holders of broadcast licenses to both present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that was honest, equitable, and balanced.
The New York Times was a failing newspaper before changing its business model to muckraking on Trump. Fox News had to drop its “Fair and Balanced” motto because that’s false advertising. CNN should be renamed the “Know-Nothing Network.” Info Wars‘ listeners are freakin’ certifiable.

If you’ve spent any time on social media, or in the inescapable presence of extended family, you’ve heard someone slagging on the news sources they disagree with. Their main grievance is, of course, how biased and unfair those news sources are when compared to their reliable, fact-based preferences.

While a mere annoyance in that moment, such mindsets have become a widespread social ill. We as a society require a consensus of truth to make sound social decisions, and the news is one of the gatekeepers to the facts required to build those truths.

When news content begins to prioritize opinions and tribalistic tendencies over journalistic integrity, it clouds the entire media landscape with suspicion, deepens political polarization, and allows readers to sidestep unwelcome evidence with alternative narratives.

Such a state is pernicious at the best of times, but in dire times, such as the coronavirus pandemic, the spread of unreliable information can be of fatal concern. Stalin created the Gulag archipelago in Russia.

I believe the gulags were in operation under Lenin, but expanded under Stalin. Correct. For people who would like to read about that.

As a progressive music fan, the best insight into Stalin’s character for me came from (1) Dmitri Shoshtakovich’s memoir, Testimony – Bing video. Stalin was a sadist and DS spent the years after WW2 perpetually worried about a knock on the door for not orchestrating Georgian folk tunes. 2/ Even if he was forced to write a Stalin Prize-winning treacle like March of the Soviet Secret Police. Not the most important atrocity, but as a modernist to my toenails, I’ll never forgive how the attacks on “formalism” shut down the burgeoning post-revolutionary art scene.

3/ That DS managed to write such remarkable and original music up until his death while spitting out what was needed to placate the authorities is a Stalin testament (testimony) to the resilience of the human spirit. 4/ And the fact that he didn’t emigrate to where his most enthusiastic audiences were like Stravinsky and Prokofiev is a feature, not a bug for me.

Stalin testament (testimony) to the resilience of the human spirit.

He was a Russian patriot and honorable for that. Stalin was not perfect, but without him the USSR would not have been able to move from feudalism to a fully industrialized country. Holodomor genocide question – Wikipedia

Aside from me personally being a direct product of immigration due to this precise event, this post from an established university states the most realistic death toll was 3.9 million.

Under him 40 million perished so why it says 20 million is further proof that the historians are still split over the biggest blood curdling monster history has seen since the days of Genghis Khan . Soviet repressions of Polish citizens (1939–1946) – Wikipedia

Apparently it takes the genocide of about 7 to 10 million innocent lives to be deemed a “very successful revolutionary. Any credibility or “decent attributes” you have is kind of lost when that amount of blood is on your hands. The myth of it being an intentional act by Stalin was started by Ukrainian fascists during WWII (because Ukraine allied with the Nazis) To say that Stalin was a threat to “the free world” during this period of time is implied Holocaust revisionism. Who killed more people? Hitler Stalin Mao!!!

Josef Stalin: Positives and Negatives by Adam Baumgardner
Fun fact: Johnny Cash was one of the first Americans to know of Stalin’s death (since he was in the Air Force, he monitored radio traffic in Europe, where he was stationed), and was/is worth ten of Stalin.

Remember when Stalin wanted to kill all the intellectuals and then no doctors wanted to tell him that he was dying (the Doctors Plot) they made a movie out of it.

And as we all know, the US has never committed any war crimes or contributed to any genocides in any way whatsoever and has never deliberately acted to quell democratic movements in weaker countries to keep them unstable and exploitable by our capitalist interests. America intentionally killed millions of people in India with famine.
America also kills like 20 million people annually from preventing people from getting food, proper medication, housing, and other easily preventable causes. Stalin was notoriously silent at meetings. A monster. Mao was also. Power corrupted both. One of the problems Marxism has in implementation is the centralized power required for that level of control. So far that power has been abused, as all power like it is. Not to mention murdering all the Polish people in the Katyn massacre and blaming it on Hitler at the time.

His post says a great deal about Dr. Bair and his lack of objectivity and understanding of history. By that standard, Hitler was a great contributor to Fascist theory. Lmao you are the co-founder of an organization of conservatives, whose entire policy is built around starving, punishing, and being cruel to the poor and minorities and that’s before we get to how long your organization covered for one of your guys preying on teen boys.

Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot are all villains of history and mass murderers. Full stop. Totalitarianism is bad, Whether it’s fascism, communism, or some other kind. It’s all bad. A liberal constitutional republic with checks and balances. That is the way to go.

Before being CCCP dictator, Stalin fundraised for the Russian revolution.

He committed bank robberies, extortion and kidnappings. I’ve also read when Stalin was in his 30s he had sex with 14 year old Lidia Pereprygina. I’m sure you’re NOT a big fan of Churchill, who starved 3 million Indians. Stalin replaced Hitler in 1945 and subjected the co-tine to 8 more years of authoritarian barbarism. 1932-1953 living under 2 golems… Mao and Stalin. intentionally kill Churchill and others are just unfortunate with their famines. The Koch fortune was built in Russia under Stalin, coincidence?

Stalin was perhaps the most lethally effective anti-communist in history . . . . when it comes to incarcerating and killing Communist Party members. The best thing I can say about Stalin is, if I owned a business where he couldn’t murder anybody, I’d select him to manage it over Trump. This didn’t happen, for people interested in learning the actual truth read “Fraud Famine and Fascism” available here: Douglas Tottle – Fraud, Famine and Fascism_text.pdf

Racism to Marxism

We are experiencing a hostile takeover by domestic terrorists posing as government elected officials.

They’ve infiltrated and turned the Democrat party Marxist.

Biden signs executive order to boost diversity, equity within federal workforce.
People of all political persuasions all over the country are against this anti-American, pro-Marxist push for “equity”. This is designed to brainwash — Federal employees and ensure loyalty to this fascist totalitarian regime!

They can’t just come out clean and tell us they’re indoctrinating Marxism,
it’s always under the cloak of something we’ll allow…. huge crime wave in
the USA, the border crisis, inflation/stagflation, illegal aliens flooding
USA, and Biden is worried about Marxist indoctrination, that’s his priority.

Never mind who’s the most qualified!
This will certainly trigger people who hate working with Black and Brown People.
This clown is just hiring people to make a statement! Black, woman, or whatever else… he’s hiring people that aren’t qualified,

but making a statement is the right choice Face with rolling eyes.

1. Just look at that hyena as VP she’s NOT qualified or cares about the American people.

2. What makes you think there is a shortage of qualified black, women,
LGBTQ or other people?

image.png

Welcome to President Biden’s America. Mount Rush moron
Being a minority doesn’t make you unqualified.
Have you looked at the years of experience and qualifications of people
being hired? Republicans and Democrats approved of the majority easily. When you don’t see diversity in the workforce, do you think it is because
only 1 particular race of people is qualified to do the work? B/c, that is what your comment suggests… Not saying it doesn’t happen to people who are white. Biden is fueling the media’s agenda to promote a racial or LGBTQ. workforce and promoting chaos as a result.

When a minority doesn’t live to expectations, it is a big deal and so many people cry about it. Look around at your office and environment how many minorities are meeting expectations!!! I want people who are professional
and accountable…. Not some schmucks that Biden appointed to be fair for everyone. But what you are missing is this has been happening forever.
Plenty of people who don’t deserve jobs have gotten them. You just didn’t
care when it was white people. But when it’s POC, it’s upsetting.

If you think black people aren’t getting jobs because of their skin color you’ve missed the last 20 to 30 years. Since more than half the country wants to virtue signal and hire based on race and sexual preference we are tumbling backward. Explain how getting a job because the “President” says to hire you because of the color of your skin or who you sleep with is fair ? It’s just sad!

Because Biden thinks people of color need a damn work order to get a job. He thinks they’re not smart enough to get one otherwise. When will you all wake up and realize the Dems are insulting you and dragging you down? So I guess we don’t care about knowledge, skills and abilities? I would ask why in 8 years of Obama, he didn’t sign an executive order for the same? I guess everything was “equitable” back then. One need not tuned into Hannity nor Carlson to see how shallow and “PC” this order is.

It’s equality of outcome rather than equality of opportunity.
That’s why. It’s true. Welcome to Communism – they want an equal outcome for ALL. That’s what they say, but they know it never works. All part of their (Obama and the Dems) disgusting anti-America agenda. How many tens of millions will die in the future because of this?

People should be hired based on skills and work ethic, not color of their skin and especially not on a damn quota system. Non Merit- based hiring results in a worse workforce by definition. Qualified persons will resent missing out on jobs to Black, Indigenous, (and) People of Color if less qualified. Qualified (BIPOC) persons will suffer because they will be thought of as unqualified diversity hires rather than solid hires. Because equity is not equality, it’s government enforced outcomes like in communist countries.

So how many executive orders does a president get before it is excessive?

List of United States federal executive orders – Wikipedia
I thought he was going to govern by reaching across the aisle … All this man has done is sign EO! Trump signed quite a few but Biden is on pace to signed more. . . . so I assume it’s somewhere in between those two numbers. who cares literally everything he has done can be undone with EO’ from any president after him. across the aisle is filled with self-serving Morons who aren’t doing a thing to represent their voters.
Maybe showing color is not the deciding factor. We should be color blind
and give assistance as needed. However, note the tall guy isn’t deprived of the opportunity to see the game at the expense of helping the little guy. But you cannot help those who won’t stand on their own.
Of course @JoeBiden  is not committing to making the federal workforce more competent, effective or efficient. That might mean running the government like a real business…heaven forbid.

Why can’t we just hire the best person for the job regardless of their sex or color?
Affirmative action 2.0. It will not be based on job performance, so it will divide us more than anything. Good job. What this really means is overlooking someone’s qualifications and instead hiring and promoting based on the color of one’s skin. How about signing an executive order to boost the best qualified for the job directive!

That means qualifications and experience won’t matter anymore when applying for jobs.

Pouting face Looking at the existing numbers – 18% black, nearly half women.

The federal workforce seems to offer a reasonable approximation of our population. I’m not seeing the need for legislation. Holy shit! Now we’re gonna wait 60 minutes rather than the normal 30 minutes on the phone to verify something with a federal agency. Face with tears of joyFace with tears of joyFace with tears of joyFace with tears of joy

Demographics of Federal Workforce Summarized (fedweek.com)
,,,”As the nation’s largest employer, the federal government…”.
That’s the most disturbing aspect of this story. I’m not sure what this will really do, the federal workforce is certainly more diverse than most businesses. On the top end it’s a little light but those positions are limited in number and seldom open…That depends on if you think the best person is right for the job or if you think it should go to someone based on how they look. Where are meritocracy, ability, effort?. That’s discrimination.

Could it be a violation of the 14th amendment?

Joe Biden’s Criminal Justice Policy | Joe Biden
When will it just be about qualified people earning the jobs? That’s it. . . .
When you don’t have a clue as to what to do, just sign an executive order,
there now it’s fixed. Great. More taxpayers dollars for more fed workers.
White people better start learning a trade, college grad jobs will be going to minorities… https://joebiden.com/justice/

Just as he has continued to boost diversity in prisons and at the border.
Dictators write forced law…. Just opening the doors to have more jobs taken by immigrants. This dude is just coloring by numbers waiting on these criminal justice reforms including decriminalizing marijuana and releasing prisoners, granting clemency, all of these reforms.

Affirmative action has been around for 40 yrs…

Here’s one tactic they use: TINA – there is no alternative. That’s a lie. In America, there always are new and creative alternatives – such as clean coal (which we have now). Don’t accept TINA. Huge TINA tactic Dems & GOP have used – only open borders or closed borders.

Solution: Increase immigration employees to vet people faster, let in who qualifies by our rules, keep out people who don’t. We decide, but it’s ridiculous it takes 5-10 years to be let in. TINA. Exactly … This isn’t right what they’re doing & it has nothing to do with the virus. Heart suit

Jesse Lee Peterson. Do you know him?

The Marxists in the last century first introduced critical theory, based on class division;
in the 21st Century, it’s being repackaged as critical “race” theory, to divide the races.
Same diabolical, Marxist theory, different name. Same old shit, from Marxists.

Barack Obama led America down a path of hatred and division.
He could have been a shining example of what’s possible in America, but he chose a darker direction. Now he’s back as O’biden and once again, we’re worse off.
That is not something to brag about. Most races of the world are tribalist and prefer their own race and cultures over others. Whites are the least like this and allow the whole third world to flood their countries.

Frank Gaffney: 2022 Beijing Olympics Is Like 1936 Berlin Olympics (breitbart.com)!!! Frank Gaffney, vice-chair of the Committee on the Present Danger and host of Secure Freedom Radio, likened the 2022 Winter Olympics scheduled to be held    in Beijing, China, to the 1936 Summer Olympics that took place in Berlin, Germany, during the dictatorship of Adolf Hitler. “This is 1936 all over again,” Gaffney said on Friday’s … edition of SiriusXM’s – Breibart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

“The international community went to Berlin, Germany, and held Olympic games that Adolf Hitler and his Third Reich turned into not only a monster propaganda coup, but a validation, and it emboldened them to believe that they could do whatever they wanted.”

He added, “The international community would be accommodating, or worse, pulling in behind them. This will be true in spades if Xi Jinping, in the wake of all of the horrors that he has unleashed on the world — not least of which with Tony Fauci’s help, unfortunately — is a murderous pandemic, for gosh sakes.” Marlow stated, “[There is] absolutely no excuse for a single American to participate in the Olympics in Beijing, and I don’t see any logic on why we would legitimize them that way.”

Gaffney helped launch Stop the Genocide Games, a petition calling for a relocation of the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Gaffney remarked, “The only other reason for allowing these games either not to be — moved which is preferable, honestly – or to be boycotted is that the athletes want to go. They want to go and they want to compete. They’ve been training so hard and all that.”

Gaffney said the Chinese Communist Party intends to acquire DNA samples from Olympic athletes for bioengineering purposes.

“But what the athletes need to know, [and] I have not heard very much discussion about this at all, is that without their permission — absolutely, positively, certainly —  their DNA will be expropriated by the Chinese Communist Party and turned into part of their superhuman bioengineering operation,” Gaffney warned.

He continued, “And it won’t just be to make sure that Chinese athletes always win Olympic games in the future. It will be to build — as they are now talking about doing — armies of super warriors whose purpose will be … to destroy the rest of us, or certainly, at least to conquer and dominate us.”

He added, “These are the sorts of things that I think all have to be on the table — and should be urgently used to impress upon both the Olympic Committees — international and American — and the athletes, and the sponsors, and our politicians, because we don’t want any part of these games… We should make sure that nobody participates in them as long as the regime in Beijing is run by the Chinese Communist Party,” he concluded.

There will probably not come a day again in my lifetime where this country is able to unite regardless of our political views. That ship has sailed…far far far away. Turn me loose, set me free, somewhere in the middle of Free America. Just draw the boundaries, and tell me which side is free, and which side is woke. Build a wall because CRT has been in EVERYTHING to divide & brainwash our young people for DECADES!!

Just tell it like it is.

THAT is totally & completely Strategically designed by this Marxist Democrat party.

They do not want peace and America first.

You would have to do away with both party affiliations — and unite for the greater good — of the Country. It’s Only POWER for them. Almost impossible to believe how wide that divide has gotten. Especially as we come up on the 20 year anniversary of 9/11, an event that brought us closer than ever.

That day is called the coming of Christ!

Until Obama, Biden et. al-at the helm. Such a ship of fools never returns.

I will never unite with America hating liberals..

How can I possibly unite with people who hate our country?

Can’t they see Joe Biden suffers from dementia?

It’s undeniably true that FakePresident Joe Biden exhibits symptoms of someone with a deteriorating brain disease. The guy is a sexual predator also, so maybe he has syphilis of the brain too.
Matt Gaetz, Rudy Giuliani, and President Trump are getting framed for the crimes that the Biden family committed. The new Manhattan DA is being told to do anything necessary to put @realDonaldTrump in jail for life! Whereas President Biden@POTUS 12.1 Million Followers…. will scare you to death or thy should?

Face screaming in fear

There’s a book written about this strategy …

Trump had four years to stop what he knew was a commie takeover but he let the Dems control the narrative every day of his Presidency. Never went on offense, just defense. Obama didn’t take it far enough so Biden and friends now saying FU we aren’t even hiding it. Too late…What now? I have been busy. What did Trump supposedly do now?

He was busy getting things done…. Stopping it probably required more people with integrity than exists in our government.

Or They were outnumbered by Bill Barr. As The Swamp was thicker than anticipated! Durham is our last hope to clean the swamp. Durham filed his petition on Nov 13 and it was docketed on Dec 8th. Initial document hearing on Dec 23rd, the day Barr resigned. Some decisions in the lower court may take precedent before the Supreme Court decision.

Just like the first impeachment when Trump was framed for what Biden did…And no one can do anything about it but whine. I’m pretty much fed up with one bad thing after another happening to America 1st Patriots while we’re being told this or that is GOING to happen and nothing ever happens. Good guys are pretty pathetic when it comes to fighting evil. Arrests or it’s time for We The People to fire these criminals. When is enough actually enough, when China invades or Civil War breaks out? They work for the U.S.
Dr. Fauci NIH Ebola Research Funding – Ebola United States It is time for us to rally and take control of their criminal acts! Enough..Dr. Fauci Ebola research gets millions of dollars of NIH funding… Ebola research exploring how Ebola spreads in people with implication for targeted Ebola treatments.

Next week will be terrible. All predictable. Won’t leave the guy alone!

The Founding Fathers were the original farmers.

Dems are the new framers.. Squinting face with tongueSquinting face with tongueSquinting face with tongue
Yup those people are sick and we all need to rally about this crap they are pulling!

It is up to us to stop it!!! @TheJusticeDept@FBI Par for the course.

When will something be done about the corrupt, evil Dems ??

Yup, straight from the liberal, socialist, communist playbook!

Who brought critical race theory to America:

Politicians want you to believe 80% of white people don’t want to acknowledge they’re racist or at least are complicit in racist institutions. Sounds about right!!! And every joint and drug any man has enjoyed has helped fuel the drug wars and cartels which affects Hispanics and indigenous people feel every day. Every time you enjoy chicken you’re helping the chicken farming industry ruthlessly farm hens. Comfort is oppressive.
An easier way to say this is that 58% of Americans hold an unfavorable view of Black people. No, let me help you. 58% of Americans don’t want their children brainwashed into being taught racist white hating ideologies. Real question. May I ask if you believe that in the past 500 years. Have white people not harmed other races at a disproportionate rate compared to other races? And if so, do you believe that there isn’t justification for the consequences of those past actions?

We don’t need CRT to understand white rage and why white people behave like animals toward their own kind and other races. So now we have black people committing a disproportionate amount of the violent crime in the US. Or just like wouldn’t we hold you responsible for the own actions insta of your (grand)father. Should you be held responsible for that?
While 58% of Americans don’t know what CRT is & don’t have the intellectual curiosity to find out AND that it’s way too advanced for children to comprehend. But, it’s the new Liberal “Willie Horton ” boogeyman intended to rile things up to turn out the black vote in 2022. Sad.
Which is the reason the left pushes it. Except real soon it will be federally mandated. We will see 3 flags on the pole. Guess which ones ?Breaking 911 baits its republican lunatic followers into believing the legitimacy of a poll when the sample size is incredibly small. but that won’t stop them from believing only what they want to believe… Clown face

Ah yes the next chapter in the culture war brought to us by DEMOCRATS. Critical race theory ( CRT) is a framework in jurisprudence that examines society and culture as they relate to categorizations of race, law, and power in the United States of America. It began as a movement in American law schools in the mid- to late 1980s as a reworking of critical legal theory on race issues.
In state houses across the country, Republican lawmakers are pushing to restrict how race is taught in classrooms. At least 22 states have proposed such bills, and they’ve already passed in five. Politicians now often call this type of legislation a ban on, quote, “critical race theory,” which has actual scholars of critical race theory frustrated.

Do you guys realize that CRT is only taught in high level college law classes? This is manufactured outrage trying to convince you guys that kids are being taught to hate America and you’re eating it up s.m.h. You know you’ve got a bad argument when 58% of Americans oppose your ideology. you’re doubling down Face with tears of joy stop just claiming nobody knows what it is, people know racism when they hear it.
Maybe Americans just don’t want their children brainwashed into prejudice and hating one another. #walkinlove

A Grateful Heart is a Happy Heart but this is the rule that really matters in life, the 95/5 rule.

I know, you think I’m bad at math and got the Pareto Principle (80/20 rule) wrong,

It’s the People, Not the System

by Pawel Brodzinski

When I first learned about D. Edwards Deming’s idea that 95% of performance should be addressed to the system and only 5% to the people it seemed totally counter-intuitive to me. Not even the idea itself, but its consequences. I mean a simple thought that you can basically stop working individually with the people on their performance as it just doesn’t make any sense. The impact of suboptimal system improvements should be tenfold or better than the best possible people-related changes.

Then, after researching the subject a bit, I swayed to the other side. The examples shared by Deming or Eli Goldratt are undeniable. I can also find a lot of examples from my own experience how the system was impacting performance heavily. Not that I had the numbers, but it resonated well with me.

Now, finally, you know what I think? Both approaches are crap.

Yeah, I’ve just tried to piss off both: guys who strongly believe in Deming’s work and those who totally disagree with him with a single attempt.

What Deming Really Said

I guess this story started when I was looking for Deming’s quote on one occasion. It seems that the meaning people attach to his words wasn’t there initially. The original 95/5 thingy was not about performance literally but about variability in performance.

Let me use a sports analogy to explain that. Let’s take a basketball player. If he scores anything between 5 and 30 points a game, and neither extreme is an extraordinarily good or an extraordinarily bad game for him (meaning: it happens on occasions) , variability of his performance is high. As a comparison we can have another guy, a second-tier player, who regularly scores anything between 0 and 5 points. Variability of his performance is significantly lower, even though his average performance is significantly worse.

Now, it’s not a surprise that the system governs variability. I mean, the more repeatable the situation the less variability you can expect. If the team plays are consequently set to create situations for one player his performances will be sort of repeatable. He won’t be suddenly disappearing from the game. At the same the system also governs variability of performances of a role-player who joins the game only under special circumstances, e.g. when the team needs more three-pointers or maybe when one of important players is injured. Variability of performances of such a player will be significantly bigger.

Of course, to some point, the system also governs performance itself. Think what happens when the star sits on the bench throughout the whole game or when a guy who is typically a sub plays the whole game. It doesn’t mean, however, that you tell a third-tier player to substitute a team leader and expect them to score 30 points a game. It’s not going to happen in a consistent manner. (For basketball fans: yes, I know Jeremy Lin’s story, but that’s an exception.)

What Deming was talking about was basically that the system governance is responsible for creating a stable and repetitive environment so people’s performances are controllable. Again, it’s not about how exactly people perform, but how their performance varies from day to day.

In fact, the above statement is mostly an interpretation too. Deming was talking about the system being, or not being, in statistical control which isn’t exactly performance variability, but for the sake of this argument let’s leave it as it is and not complicate things even further.

Anyway, Deming Is Still Wrong

So far I made an attempt to convince you that: first, Deming was basically talking about performance variability and second, the impact of the system on performance itself, while existent, isn’t anywhere close to 95%.

However, we shouldn’t forget Deming’s background, which is a factory floor. In other words it’s a place where workers are supposed to produce the same things in a repeatable manner. I could exploit the basketball analogy further by pointing that every game, heck, every play is different, but I guess in software development we simply don’t need that analogy anymore. It’s enough to ask: how many times have you built exactly the same feature?

And for all three of you who accidentally had this chance: how many times have you built the feature a second time in exactly the same way you did the first?

I bring this argument to show that in knowledge work, or sports, we naturally have significantly higher variability to deal with. And, unlike on a shop floor, that is good. What’s more, there is a different value attached to every single thing we develop. In fact, it’s even worse than that. Very often we don’t know exactly what value is attached to a work item we’re going to build.

This means that in such a situation we should use a very different statistical mechanism than Deming based on. We need to take into account both expected cost and expected payoff. The latter, naturally, isn’t taken into consideration on a shop floor as in this situation payoff for each part is well known. In knowledge work, on the other hand, payoff function is extremely important and never flat.

Coming back to the basketball analogy: if you wanted to bet which player is going to score 30+ points during the next game would you rather choose this reliable guy who averages 15.0 and who always scores double-figure but rarely, if ever, exceeds 20.0 or rather that crazy shooter who (surprise, surprise) averages 15.0 as well but, depending on a day, can score either nothing or 40+ points? Bravo! You’ve just chosen higher variability, which is totally against what Deming taught us.

This is because you’ve taken the payoff into account. In the former case any payoff is almost impossible as, because of low variability, it’s highly unlikely that the guy is going to score 30+ points. The other case is a different story though.

Now, especially when we think about product development we are in a betting business. We bet that this or that feature will bring a ton of new users or a truckload of money. We can’t ignore the payoff function. We can’t assume the payoff function is flat. In either case we’d be throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Besides, Who Does Create the System?

I’m not done yet. I don’t challenge the idea that the system affects performance. I simply challenge the so-called 95/5 rule or, to be more precise, I challenge the way some people interpret the so-called 95/5 rule.

The question we should be asking is who (co-)creates the system. If we start with Deming he points to shaping the system as a management responsibility. This is probably very true on a factory floor. We are not at the factory floor though.

Let’s stay for a moment within the software development perspective and think what exactly an equivalent of a production line is.

Obviously, one part would be organizational culture. What are general ways things are done in the organization? Does the org use a lean / agile or rather a heavy-weight, formalized approach? How do your clients act? These general rules will be difficult to change.

However, when we consider a lower level it’s a different game. Let’s try to translate low-level manufacturing processes to software development. Production line would likely be a sort of a process: analysis, coding, testing, deployment, etc. What’s interesting though is what is happening on each of these stations. How exactly is the work done? Who makes decisions on how the work is done?

Take coding for example. Who decides whether unit tests are there or not? How many of them? What kind of tests? Who decides on a specific coding style? A manager? Um, no, not really. Most, or even every, of those decisions are made by a coder – a worker.

Now, the important question: do such decisions define the system which a developer operates in? Obviously! Just think what is going to be the outcome of the work of a cowboy coder and what happens when a worker is an eXtreme Programming fan. These are different systems indeed.

The conclusion of this story is that in our world workers can influence the system heavily, thus completely changing Deming’s equation.

One might point out that leaving people free and empowering them is still the part of the system design which is still the management job. I’d disagree. One thing is that adopting a technique or a practice isn’t comparable to moving the machines on a factory floor. I can perfectly start writing unit tests and it doesn’t instantly require everyone else to change the way they work.

Another thing is that it’s way easier to be a Grace Hopper follower in our industry. We can easily change the part of the system that goes through our desks, no matter whether we are empowered to do so or not. Eventually, if anyone notices (which isn’t that obvious by the way) we should have enough information to have meaningful discussion about the impact of how we’ve done our work.

All in all, in knowledge work there’s no clear line that separates the system from the people, thus the whole notion of addressing a specific part of influence to one or the other is flawed.

It’s the People, Stupid!

The last piece of this puzzle is a story. Not that long ago I joined the organization that is exceptional when compared to its surroundings. I’m far from saying that it is a perfect system already, but it’s definitely the most mature company that I’ve ever been working with.

In fact, it’s not only the maturity of the software development process we have but also this touchy-feely stuff we call the atmosphere. Not a dream job (yet) but pretty damn close to it when compared to everything else I’ve had a chance to experience.

Let’s try to translate this to a system definition then. It would be pretty effective. It would be delivering high-quality stuff. It would be a great environment to work at. It would help everyone to grow. How could one possibly not like it?

The only problem is that I’ve lost one third of technical stuff over the course of a few months. The system? No, the people! Their individual needs, frustrations and dreams. Their unique contributions to what the system is, or has been.

Because at the end of the day, in our world, the system is not machinery with replaceable humanoid parts; it is inseparably connected with the people who operate within the system. Change a single person and the whole system is different. Suddenly the rules of the game have changed and everyone else operates in a very different system. And the only thing that has changed is a single person has left.

Summary:

My message in all that is that we should first understand our work, how it gets done and what kind of system we operate in. Because when we think about that it becomes obvious that there’s no simple way of separating the people from the system in the knowledge work domain, especially when we’re talking about a small scale, e.g. dozens of people, not thousands of them.

At the same time I’m challenging the common notion of Deming’s rule because it’s nothing close to what Deming really said and it is simply flawed in our domain anyway.

At the end of the day you should understand the system (obviously!) but focus on the people too if you want a significant change.

Of course one must focus on people, because the “system” in this context is a “social system” and a “cultural system” more than a “system of (manufacturing) processes” — even though some still like to see and present it as such, for various reasons.

A Euphemism for Life?

Use the 95:5 Rule To Forever Ignore All Further Healthy Living Advice  🙂

You’ve heard of the 80:20 rule. 80% of the time focus on your strict diet and exercise routine and 20% of the time, don’t worry about it. And the 80%, it’s usually filled with lots of difficult to follow and remember rules, and generally includes a fair bit of sacrifice and restriction.

Well I’ve got a different ratio to sell you on today. It’s the 95:5 ratio, and if you follow it, you can ignore every new fad diet, every well-intentioned friendly lifestyle zealot, and every supplement huckster out there.

Here goes:

Focus 95% of your healthy living energies on:
– Cooking your meals from fresh whole ingredients while minimizing restaurant meals and ultra-processed foods (and remember too “minimize
is a relative term and one that you can continually improve upon but need
not start at awesome), and then eating those meals free from distractions and ideally with friends or family.
– Exercising as often and as much as you can enjoy, and ideally more days of the week than not, while still remembering if all you can find are short bursts, they’re good too.
– Not smoking
– Cultivating good night sleeps (dark, cool and quiet rooms, no screens right before bed, set sleep times, no caffeine past noon, rare alcohol within 3 hours of bed time would be a good start)
– When indulging, asking first if it’s worth it, and second what’s the smallest amount you need to be happy?
– Drinking alcohol only in moderation (1 daily for women, 2 for men)

Nurturing your friendships and relationships.
As to what makes up the remaining 5%? Well it’s everything else. It’s stuff like “best” diets, “right” exercises, organic fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meats, ancient grains, supplements, cleanses, and all that other minutiae that people spend so much time agonizing over despite the very real likelihood that even were all those things scientifically, demonstrably, useful (most aren’t), in a best case scenario, when compared with the impact of the 95%, that 5% might increase a person’s quantity of life by a few days or weeks, while agonizing over that 5% would definitely suck away a whole pile of quality.

Life’s too short to worry about the minutiae of healthful living and if you’re looking for the best bang for your healthful living buck, look to the unsexy,
but incredibly beneficial, 95%.

I SEE IT KILL DEALS ALL THE TIME.
A Euphemism for your awful life?  – Bing video
It is human nature, nothing magical about it, just something we all do in life. We do it with our jobs, our family, our intimate relationships, we just can’t seem to help ourselves. Finding fault is not a virtue, it is a deal killer. Making people do something or into someone they are NOT. “I WOULD hate sitting in so many meetings, I don’t like writing status reports, I miss my friends BUT NOT MY OLD BOSS back at such and such company” and on and on.
Right now we are doing less and less of this at work ‘TALKING’ if we are
lucky enough to still have a job, so there is a silver lining in all this economic devastation. SO NOW We are finally focusing on what is right about our job or our company or our colleagues because we are so thankful to have them. The 95/5 rule is adjacent to any state, county or group of people and in people themselves. Los Angeles County has the same proportional problems as most smaller counties.
It’s just that their proportional amount of bad people are on a grander scale than a smaller county (we have the same problems as they have.) Five percent of a smaller county isn’t as many. Then when you look at people nobody is perfect and 95% of the time they are good people with that other 5% of the time not so perfect (we all make mistakes.) Relationships are an even juicier outlet for the 95/5 rule. In the beginning our future soulmate is everything we ever dreamed of and more.

And the reason this happens is that we have no idea who they are, so they can be whatever we want them to be. We project all of our dreams and fantasies into the knowledge void we have about who this person really is. But then over time the void starts being populated with facts and experiences that are attributed to the real person and we start to pick them apart, finding all of the things about them that are wrong. But the problem with this approach is that we completely miss the 95% of the person and relationship that is absolutely right.
Now of course no one is going to be 100% our dream but in reality,
I’m not that great at dreaming and usually the person I’m with turns out to be better than my wildest dreams, which is the case with my wife Toni. For me to find relationship joy I need to be open to asking for what I want in life and adding at the end of my endless list of demands the statement, “this or something better.” Because the person we are in a relationship with may not match up exactly to our expectations causing us to become fixated on all of the ways they aren’t our perfect match, totally missing how they may in fact be better than we imagined.

I find that this fixation on the 5% starts to consume us, to get on our last nerve as the focus magnifies the differences and makes them take on a life of their own. All of the endearing qualities that our soul mate had in the first months of the relationship now drive us crazy with frustration, but how could they have changed so much?
Well the truth is, they didn’t. It is just that we know them better now and they aren’t the person in our dreams, they are a real person in flesh and blood. And given the chance to interact with my dreams and a real person, the real person wins hands down (no pun intended).

So if your goal is a lasting and beautiful relationship that is better than anything you could have imagined, my advice to you is to mindfully turn your focus each and every time one of those 5% issues rears its ugly head, to one of the many things about the person you love, to the 95% that is right.
And before you know it, that 5% will lose its grip on your attention and most likely you will grow out of your need to have everything in life delivered exactly to your specifications. Relationships that last tend to grow deeper into wonderful things that we can hardly imagine but changing our focus is the only way to get to this deeper place.

The 95/5 Rule: Most Change Looks Evolutionary.
The reason the evolutionist, chaos, and random accident perspectives have been so dominant in society for so long, in my estimation, is because of a fundamental property of evo-devo systems that we will now consider. Nearly all, or roughly 95%, to a first approximation, of the pathways, decisions or events that occur in complex systems in our environment are bottom-up, evolutionary processes that, though they may probabilistically predictable with respect to the next path, decision, or event, are so contingent and creative that they rapidly become unpredictable in the medium and longer term. Only a critical subset, 5% or less, are top-down, hierarchical, developmental processes. These processes, by contrast, are convergent and conservative, and intrinsically future predictable, even over the long term. We can call this a 95/5 (or 97/3, 99/1, or other similar) rule, for different processes. We will stick with the name 95/5 rule for now, until evo devo processes have been much better measured and quantified in a variety of complex systems.

The “Foresight Iceberg”

(The 95/5 Rule)
Why the 95/5 rule exists is obvious, if you think about how evolution and development work as we have defined them. Evolutionary processes constantly branch, or fan out, in a “bottom-up” way, as each species/system tries to adapt by trying lots of local creative experiments, which are often generated based on their local contexts.
Think of all the things you do in a typical day that happen only because of the environment you find yourself in, or the information you’ve just seen or heard. Only a few of these evolutionary experiments are destined to fall into funnels, special configurations that will predictably reach higher levels of complexity.
These special branches are guided “top-down” to these higher levels due to the special initial conditions and laws of the universal environment, and the way those conditions and laws have been tuned for future-specific form and function via many previous cycling of the system (in living systems and the universe as a system).
A good way to remember this rule is the Foresight Iceberg schematic, pictured at right.
In evo devo systems, only a small percent of change can be long-term “visible” to foresight professionals, in that it is intrinsically predictable, convergent, and constrained or driven top-down by a few fundamental rules and actors.
The vast majority of change is submerged, and significantly harder to predict, except in the short term, or in broad statistical ways, because it happens bottom-up and collectively via the creative action of a vast number of local actors, in interacting in contingent and increasingly divergent ways.

We can see this 95/5 rule operating in complex systems of all types.

A few examples:
Almost all the genes in an organism are evolutionary.
They recombine unpredictably in offspring to make new variety (phenotypes). But approximately, 3-5% of the genes are instead developmental (the developmental-genetic toolkit). They funnel the organism to one predictable phenotype. To be more precise, roughly 50% of human genes are expressed at some point during complex activities like organogenesis (Yi et al. 2010). But less than 10% of our genome is highly regulated during organogenesis, and only 5% of our DNA is ‘ultra-conserved’ across complex species (eg. human, mouse, rat) (Wagman and Stephens 2004). Preliminary work has shown that this ultra-conserved DNA can no longer undergo change without terminating or seriously damaging developmental processes. It is the core set of “top down” instructions for creating the organism. I would also bet that of the 10% of our genome that is highly regulated during organogenesis, more than half of these genes are evolutionary (still capable of creative, bottom-up change without deleterious effects to the organism). The rest are part of the core “developmental toolkit”. They conserve and funnel biological events into critical and predictable top-down choices and processes in the emergence of modularity, hierarchy, and life cycle for the organism.

Almost all of the cells in organisms are guided via bottom-up, contingent,
local interactions, to form stochastic structure and function. Their positions and fates aren’t predictable in advance, as they differentiate from totipotency based on contingent local cues. A small subset are fated to spatiotemporally predictable structural and functional outcomes, once they emerge. They form a top-down “environment” and “scaffolds” which constrain the way the other cells emerge. Example: Radial glial cells, which generate and direct the formation of neural architecture.
Almost all species on Earth evolve “randomly,” with some increasing in complexity-intelligence, and some decreasing (parasites, cul-de-sacs, etc.)
as they adapt. Only a small fraction of species (~1%?), those with social brains, language, and the ability to use tools to create niches, are caught in the “funneling” path to greater world- and self-modeling, environmental control, and intelligence development as they adapt. For more, see Conway Morris, Life’s Solution (2003).

Almost all the thoughts in a mind are unconscious, guiding the organism bottom-up, in contingent, unpredictable ways. A small fraction (1-5%?) are conscious, guiding the animal top-down as planned, convergent, optimization-seeking behavior. See Mlodinow, Subliminal (2013).

Almost all actions in an organization happen by workers acting in bottom-up, contingent, local, unpredictable ways. Management sets top-down policies, plans, and objectives for action, but management’s actions (1-5% of org. action?) create only the critical framework, or envelope, of acceptable behavior. For more, see Kelly, Out of Control (1995).

Almost all change in society is driven bottom-up by individuals acting in divergent, contingent, local, experimental ways (markets, democratic politics, other bottom-up behavior). A critical subset (1-5%?) Social change is a top-down, planned, optimization-seeking policy set by societal leaders (govt, institutions, corps, church, etc.). Whenever societies get too centrally planned, autocratic, or plutocratic, they lose power, productivity, and collective intelligence to more bottom-up ones. Whenever societies have insufficient top-down rules, planning, and institutions, they become chaotic and unstable (think of the historical transitions to anarchy), and again lose power, productivity, and intelligence to ones with stabler environments and smarter rulesets and institutions that allow for both individual initiative and large scale, coordinated collective action. Bottom-up and top-down societal management always seems to be in a rough 95/5 balance. See Acemoglu, Why Nations Fail (2012).

The generic value of a 95/5 rule in building and maintaining intelligent systems, if one exists, would explain why the vast majority of universal change appears to be bottom-up driven, evolutionary and unpredictable in complex systems, what systems theorist Kevin Kelly  described as “out of control” in his prescient work Out of Control (1994). Yet a critical subset of events and processes in all these systems also appears to be top-down/systemically directed, developmental, and intrinsically predictable, if you have the right theory, computational resources, and data. Discovering that developmental subset, and differentiating it from the much larger evolutionary subset, will make our world vastly more understandable, and show how it is constrained to certain future destinies, even as creativity and experimentation keep growing within all the evolutionary domains.
Fortunately, as our science and computing abilities advance, theories of universal evolution and development will be deeply tested, and proven or falsified, by simulation. For now, you must use your own knowledge and intuition to ask whether the hypothesis makes sense. Science is a long way from being able to verify or refute it, or any alternative.

Mysterious disease killing birds in Ohio, public asked to remove feeders here in Ohio Thursday, June 24th 2021, 10:47 AM EDT
By Madison Tromler WFMJ

What is the birds and the bees about.

A mysterious disease in birds wildlife experts said they have not seen before, is here in Ohio. The illness is killing birds within a day and officials ask people to take caution.

The unknown disease is causing death in birds in mostly Central Ohio and some other surrounding states, but the Ohio Wildlife Center said they have seen a small number of birds with the disease in Northeast Ohio, too.

Wildlife experts said they’re seeing the disease in mostly songbirds, such as blue jays and robins among others. “The presenter is usually finding them on the ground… their eyes are crusty or like caked together,” Ohio Wildlife Center Interim Executive Director Stormy Gibson said, “Sometimes their eyes look clear and they have neurological symptoms which means they might have a head tilt.” The disease is also causing blindness in birds. The Ohio Wildlife Center and Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife is asking the public to take down their outdoor bird feeders for the next week or two.
“The reason that is is number one, we want to try to stop birds from congregating together, whether we know that works or not… we don’t know,” Gibson said, “But we’re trying to help save our population of birds.” Gibson also said people should clean out their bird feeders and baths as well, properly dispose of a bird if someone finds one and report the finding online at WildOhio.gov.

“If the animal is already deceased, the Division of Wildlife is recommending to double bag it, wear gloves and a form of protection, and put it in the trash,” Gibson said. ODNR Division of Wildlife Communications Specialist Jamey Emmert said they’re conducting tests on the birds and working with wildlife experts on a national level, but right now there are more questions than answers.
The Ohio Wildlife Center said they believe the disease will likely continue to spread in birds throughout the state. “Birdwatchers are seeing this, local backyard folks are seeing it, and we’re seeing it in both urban areas and suburban areas and even our rural areas,” Gibson said, “they’re unsure whether the disease could harm humans or pets, so they suggest keeping pets away and not touching a bird without proper protective gear.
If you find a bird with this disease that may be alive, you’re asked to contact a local wildlife rehabilitator at OWRA.org. The Ohio Wildlife Center said they suspect more information on the disease will come next week.

Coastal cities face their mortality on the climate frontline – video  – images

Domination of the seas allowed many coastal cities to become trading powerhouses and cultural melting pots. But now that strength is becoming a liability as climate change swells the oceans, redrawing the map and putting hundreds of millions at risk. That’s the warning of an unpublished draft report by the UN’s climate science advisory panel, seen exclusively by AFP, which outlines the vast and urgent climate threats facing the planet.

From the air, you can see the problem.

In city upon city, office towers, warehouses and homes crowd the water’s edge as if they are jostling to take a dip, major roads hug the shore, landing strips jut dauntlessly into the frothing waves. These cities are on the “frontline”, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report says. “Difficult choices will need to be made as sea level continues to rise, floods and storm surges become more frequent and intense, warming increases ocean acidity and intensifies heatwaves,” it adds.

Rising seas will likely spark mass migration and eventually force whole cities to be abandoned to the flood. But profound consequences for megacities, small islands, arctic communities and deltas will come long before that – well within the lifetimes of most alive today.

Vast floods in Thailand in 2011 inundated manufacturing centres,

In some places, people already know all too well the destructive power of water. “I once was a bride of an affluent family,” Yasmin Begum tells AFP in the bare corrugated metal hut she now shares with her relatives in the Bangladesh capital Dhaka.

“My in-laws and parents, they had everything – cattle, nice house, farmland. But the river took it all away.”

The family had lived a relatively prosperous life in the southern island district of Bhola, an exposed tendril of land at the outer limits of one of the world’s most populated deltas. Then one night 12 years ago, the raging Meghna river devoured everything they had.

Begum, now 30 and a mother of three, scratches a living as a Dhaka housekeeper, while her husband drives a cycle rickshaw through the city’s steamy streets. They escaped one flood only to be at risk of another: Their new home, in one of the narrow-alley slums clustered precariously close to a flood barrier, is just metres from the riverbank.

‘Mortal’ cities

Roughly a tenth of the world’s population and assets are based less than 10 metres above sea level. “Structurally, a lot of cities are set up in almost the exact wrong place for a world with rising seas,” says Ben Strauss, CEO and chief scientist at Climate Central. Ports and airports are built on the very flattest, lowest land possible.

“Sea level used to be stable,” Strauss explains. “Not anymore.”

Land currently home to 300 million people will be vulnerable to annual flooding by 2050, according to his research. Those least able to afford to protect themselves will likely be hit hardest.

All urban areas are increasingly stifled by air pollution and extreme heat, but those at the coasts are also deluged by flooding intensified by the rising water level and lashed by storms whipped into greater fury by warmer seas.

Saltwater washes across agricultural fields and rice paddies, while ecosystems – crucial for economies, cultures and climate protection – are gravely degraded by human activities. Cities like Venice and Jakarta are also sinking, while low-lying island nations, particularly in the Pacific, are at risk of disappearing under the waves.

The report says slashing emissions now can reduce the risks.

image.png

“But the sea-level rise is accelerating and will continue for millennia,” it says.

Greenhouse gas emissions are locking in global heating that is melting ice sheets and glaciers and expanding oceans. The greenhouse gases already in the air have essentially baked in the amount that waters will rise until around 2050. By 2100, the IPCC has predicted water levels could be 60 centimetres (24 inches) higher, even if global warming is limited to well below two degrees Celsius — the cornerstone target of the 2015 Paris Agreement.

Longer term, it says, the prospects for many coastal cities are “dismal” without deep cuts to emissions. Meanwhile, humanity continues to pump pollution into the atmosphere, locking in global heating that is melting ice sheets and glaciers and expanding oceans. In just a few decades we may have emitted enough to eventually drown some of the world’s great cities, Strauss says.

By 2050, an at-risk region like South Florida might have developed a multi-decade plan to “empty out”, he says.

“We live our lives knowing we’re going to die, but I don’t think we often think of our cities in those terms,” he tells AFP.

“Most of our coastal cities are mortal. A lot of them will end in flood in the long run.”

image.png

Dhaka faces ‘severe escalating risk’ from climate change, the IPCC report says.

Cascading risk

Costs are already rising.

In October 2012, Hurricane Sandy slammed into the coast around New York and New Jersey, killing scores of people and causing tens of billions of dollars in damages. The storm caused “cascading” impacts, the IPCC says, triggering massive power outages and disrupting water and communication links for hundreds of thousands of people.

Disasters like this in globalised coastal cities pose “risks for societies and the global economy in general”, the report says. A worst-case scenario projection for the world’s 136 largest coastal cities calculated expected damages by mid-century of between US$1.6 to US$3.2 trillion from sea-level rise without adaptation.

There were wide variations between cities, partly because of where assets and people are concentrated, study co-author Elisa Sainz de Murieta of the Basque Centre for Climate Change said. Guangzhou was top of the list, with damages calculated at around $330 billion by 2050 under a pessimistic emissions scenario without adaptation, and nearly US$1.4 trillion in 2100.

In second place was Mumbai, which the IPCC report describes as a “non-adapter” – with little done to prepare people and property for disaster – despite predictions that swathes of built-up area could be flood-prone by 2100. And cities continue to expand, putting millions more in harm’s way, particularly in Asia and Africa.image.png

The costs of climate and weather disasters are already rising steeply.

Lessons from the ‘bathtub’

How can cities protect themselves?

Options include engineered protections like dykes and seawalls, which could cut flood risk for up to a few metres of sea rise but can damage environmental systems.

Rehabilitating coastal ecosystems also offers broad benefits.

Storm surges kill fewer people and cause less damage when a coastal city is sheltered behind a wide buffer of mangroves or marshes.

Seagrass meadows, mangrove forests, coral reefs and tidal marshes also support marine life and related economic sectors like fisheries and tourism. There is “no silver bullet”, the IPCC draft says, but the choices will only get tougher as the impacts stack up. “We have to act now, because we are already too late,” says Johan Verlinde, programme manager for Rotterdam’s Climate Adaptation Plan.

More than half of the Netherlands is vulnerable to large-scale coastal and river flooding and over a quarter is below sea level. After deadly inundations in 1953 the country set about building a network of high-tech defences. The Netherlands currently allocates €1 billion (RM5 billion) a year for its “living with water” adaptation plan.

Rotterdam’s assortment of floating infrastructure includes a cattle farm. With 85% below sea level, Verlinde says the city is “really a bathtub”. “Every drop of water that falls on our city, we need to pump it up. We really need to be innovative to keep our feet dry,” he says. Dutch engineers travel the world sharing their flood resilience expertise, although many poorer countries and communities cannot afford the most effective big infrastructure defences.

image.png

The reasons why some are protected & others do not go far beyond national budgets

‘Sink or swim’

Cape Town is an “extensive adapter”, according to the IPCC, with flood protection infrastructure, as well as early warning systems in place. But almost 100,000 households are exposed to flooding in a city riven by deep poverty and the legacy of apartheid. Toward the coast, the serene Lake Michelle is a high-end housing complex enfolded within a secure perimeter fence.

Outside a scrubby strip of land separates it from Masiphumelele, where ramshackle informal homes blanket the waterlogged ground. The contrast is an example of the stark inequalities that make finding consensus on a response to climate change much more difficult, says Anton Cartwright of the African Centre for Cities.

“Ultimately we’re all going to have to sink or swim – literally in this instance – together,” he says.

Saint Mark’s square in Venice is waterlogged ~

Die by drowning’

In the end, even the most innovative, big-spending adapters may not be able to avoid the ultimate solution: retreat.

Indonesia has already put together plans to shift its capital to Borneo from subsidence-wracked Jakarta.

In Bangladesh, climate-related migration has already started. But this is just the beginning.

Studies predict sea-level rise could displace nearly a million people in the country by 2050, and more than two million by the end of the century.

Dhaka will likely be a destination for those driven from their homes in other low-lying coastal areas. But the delta city, where almost 40% of people live in vulnerable informal settlements, is itself expected to face increasing inundations. As simple as their rented house is, Begum says they cannot afford to lose it – her family has nowhere to retreat to. “Then probably we’ll have to die by drowning,” she tells AFP. “We have no other option.”

Like Begum, some communities will be unable or unwilling to move even if their homes are at risk.

And some places are irreplaceable.

Flooding threatens key infrastructure like this airport in bangkok, deluged in 2011

‘Queen of the Seas’

Unesco describes Venice as an “extraordinary architectural masterpiece” where even the smallest buildings contain works by some of the world’s great artists, such as Titian and Tintoretto. The city was founded in the 5th century, although it was not until the 10th century that the “Queen of the Seas” became a major maritime power.

Today, Venice is the most threatened world heritage site in the Mediterranean. Over 90% of the city is vulnerable to flooding.

Venice has installed mobile barriers to close lagoon inlets during storm surges. But if sea levels rise 30cm, floodwaters could slosh around the palazzi for several weeks. At 75cm, they could linger for six months. The IPCC’s most pessimistic prediction for 2100 is 1.1 metres. Oceanographer Georg Umgiesser says because of the effects of subsidence, even half a metre would be “catastrophic” for the city.

St Mark’s Square would never be dry.

And Venice is not alone – up to 140 world heritage sites are at risk of coastal flooding even at two degrees Celsius of global warming, mostly in the Mediterranean.

What we’ve lost

Humans have told stories about cities and civilisations swallowed by the sea for centuries. In the past, there was no evidence linking behaviour to the deluge, but now our choices are creating real Atlantises of the future, says Strauss. “Our efforts to stop climate change are to protect the lives that we have today, but also they are going to shape the stories that our descendants tell about us,” Strauss says.

“And I think there will be a lot of stories about what we’ve lost, about the things we failed to protect.” – AFP, June 24, 2021

Why is “liberal” media pushing an “America Last” message and
a new Cold War?

U.S. president Joe Biden (L) and Russian President Vladimir Putin meet during the U.S.-Russia summit at Villa La Grange on June 16, 2021 in Geneva, Switzerland. Biden is meeting his Russian counterpart, Putin, for
the first time as president in Geneva, Switzerland. If you get your foreign policy news today from CNN, MSNBC or NPR or similar outlets.
Then you’re bombarded hour after hour with the idea the United States has the absolute right to impose sanctions on country after country overseas if they violate human rights or are not democratic.
To give just one example: On Sunday, CNN anchor Dana Bash grilled Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, on why the White House is not imposing yet more sanctions on Russia (and China) and why Team Biden was “giving in to Russia” on the gas pipeline to Western Europe. Sullivan was emphatic in insisting that sanctions had been imposed and more were on the way, boasting that Biden had grabbed even more presidential power to sanction Russia through an executive order. I’m old enough to remember the superiority complex behind the liberal media propaganda during the Cold War with the Soviet Union. Russian General Defends Right to Use Nuclear Weapons if Existence of State Is Threatened.

While U.S. foreign policy, in the name of democracy, massacred millions of people of color, mostly civilians, across the globe from Asia to Southern Africa to Latin America.  In the middle of the Cold War, when Martin Luther King Jr. denounced the U.S. government as “the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today” and criticized U.S. hubris fueling the Cold War, liberal outlets like the New York Times and the Washington Post furiously condemned King — in essence, telling him to leave foreign policy to “us white guys.”
When it came to relations between nations: King criticized the “arrogance” of our country and the West in “feeling that it has everything to teach others and nothing to learn from them.” Jump to the present, and you see the same arrogance in liberal U.S. media:
We have everything to teach others — whether Russia or China or Iran or Venezuela or any of the dozens of countries the U.S. is imposing sanctions on, sometimes deadly sanctions.
Let’s do today what MLK urged us to do back then: Look at ourselves in the mirror. There is no more precious human right than the right to be free from jail or prison. So it’s a human rights violation of epic proportions that the United States has more than 2 million people incarcerated, way more than any other country, including China with its much higher population. Our people behind bars are  disproportionately Black or brown people. Liberal media have recently learned how to throw around the term “systemic racism,” but when lecturing other countries they deftly forget that mass incarceration is an affront to notions of “democracy” and “human rights.”

It’s a human right to be able to live without the fear of violence. Yet no other major country has so much gun violence, with hundreds shot every day — one of many problems that U.S. “democracy” can’t even address, let alone solve. One might have hoped that recent U.S. history would have humbled liberal media pundits about their cherished belief in the U.S. as a “beacon of democracy” to the world — and therefore, our sacred right to punish other countries that don’t measure up.
After four years of Trump and a Trump movement that has captured almost half the electorate, after our corporatized media system lavished massive amounts of free airtime on candidate Trump in 2015 (CNN, CBS, ABC, etc.) because it was good for network profits, after years of a dysfunctional political system in Washington that serves the rich and giant corporations when not in total gridlock, after the Supreme Court was packed with right-wing judges through legislative double-dealing, after ever-increasing voter suppression targeting people of color and young voters, one would hope for some humility about “U.S. democracy.”
Yet liberal media pundits keep propagandizing the public about the USA’s right to lecture foreign countries over their political systems, and to severely punish them (leaving aside allies like Colombia, Saudi Arabia and Israel, of course). Never mind the horrific consequences to civilians overseas when deprived of life-sustaining imports. These liberal news outlets may despise Trump, but they sure put “America first” when it comes to policing the rest of the world. And they seem intent on instigating new cold wars with Russia and China.

It’s indefensible that Putin has imprisoned and nearly killed opposition
figure Alexei Navalny, and it’s important for the U.S. government to publicly and privately speak out against such behavior. The same goes for China’s terrible  mistreatment of Uyghur Muslims. But while speaking out with self-awareness and humility about human rights, the U.S. also needs to work collaboratively with Russia on cyber-peace and disarmament (the two nations have 90 percent of the world’s nuclear weapons) and with China on climate change. Without collaboration, the world is doomed.
The liberal view on the original Cold War with the Soviet Union is that
“we won.” The progressive view is that everybody lost, especially Global South countries like Vietnam, Iran, Indonesia, Guatemala and El Salvador that were victimized by U.S. invasions, coups and proxy wars supported by both Democrats and Republicans. I have a bold idea you won’t hear on CNN or MSNBC: Instead of lecturing and sanctioning the rest of the world, let’s get our own house in order. Let’s lead by example. On democracy, instead of sanctioning other countries, Team Biden should rally Democrats to sanction the U.S. Senate by establishing majority rule through an end to that Jim Crow legacy, the filibuster. Biden should address the right-wing-packed Supreme Court.

On human rights, let’s cut the U.S. military budget in half, and provide
things that other advanced countries already have: universal health care and free or near-free higher education. Let’s invest billions of dollars in poor and working-class communities, and end the horrors of mass incarceration.
Let’s cancel student debt that burdens 45 million people and, at long last, seriously tax U.S. oligarchs and corporations to pay for these investments (and perhaps worry less about sanctioning Russian oligarchs).
Joe Biden likes to think of himself as a foreign policy specialist. If he listens to the laptop warriors in the media who want him to “pivot” belligerently toward China and Russia, an adventurous foreign policy will undermine the Democrats’ domestic agenda and doom his administration quicker than you can say “LBJ.” And Republicans will retake Congress.  Biden can succeed only if he ignores the media hawks and focuses laser-like on domestic policy — galvanizing his party toward a serious FDR-like effort to address human rights and climate change with major federal programs uplifting working-class people of all colors.

Iran’s incoming president shoots down Biden plan to expand nuclear deal to missile program. by Joel Gehrke.

Iran President-elect Ebrahim Raisi says U.S. sanctions must be lifted, won’t meet President Joe Biden – UPI.com

Iranian officials will not agree to curb their missile program even if the Islamic republic returns to the 2015 nuclear deal with the United States and other Western countries, the hard-liner regime’s hand-picked president-elect said. “All sanctions must be lifted, and their removal must be verified. America must abide by its commitments under the nuclear agreement,” Ebrahim Raisi, who was elected over the weekend amid questions about the regime’s involvement in the race, said Monday, according to state media.

Raisi Era Will Move Iran Closer to Russia and China – LewRockwell

“The Iranian missile program is not subject for negotiations.”
Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s team hopes to curb Iran’s expanding nuclear program by orchestrating a joint return to the 2015 pact, which then-President Donald Trump exited in 2018. U.S. officials maintain that such an agreement would set the stage for a broader dialogue about threats emanating from Tehran. Raisi’s statement could aggravate the bipartisan misgiving that the current round of talks could lead to the loss of leverage needed to secure any other concessions from Tehran.
“This is just the Iranians putting their foot down … which both politically and from a policy perspective puts the Biden administration in a bind,” the
Foundation for Defense of Democracies Behnam Ben Taleblu said. “If there is no potential for ‘longer and stronger,’ then all it looks like the Biden team
[is doing] is clawing back a fatally flawed and fast-expiring nuclear deal.”

TOP SENATE DEMOCRAT: BIDEN’S IRAN DEAL STRATEGY FREES TEHRAN’S TERRORIST SUPPORT

Blinken has faced skepticism not only from Republicans but from some congressional Democrats who worry that the administration’s stated plan to return to compliance with the 2015 pact and then begin talks over Iran’s ballistic missile program and support for terrorism will fail after the first step.
State Department spokesman Ned Price declined to give a direct answer when asked what the U.S. would do if Iran refuses to commit to negotiating over the broader range of security threats.
“We are confident that if we are able to return to JCPOA compliance, from there, we will have the tools, additional tools we need to address issues
outside of the nuclear deal,” Price told reporters Monday. “And in fact, we’ll be better positioned than we are right now.” Raisi staked out that position in his first press appearance since Iranian officials announced that he would be the next president, following an election marked by historically low turnout and apparent efforts to ensure that a hard-liner replaced outgoing Iranian president Hassan Rouhani.

Raisi, an ally of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who now runs Iran’s judiciary, has been reviled by human rights groups for his role
on a so-called “death committee” that reportedly ordered the execution of thousands of political dissidents in 1988.
“Iranian authorities paved the way for Ebrahim Raisi to become president through repression and an unfair election,” Human Rights Watch Deputy Middle East director Michael Page said. “As head of Iran’s repressive judiciary, Raisi oversaw some of the most heinous crimes in Iran’s recent history, which deserve investigation and accountability rather than election to high office.”
Western officials and observers are not sure whether his current rhetoric is a clear portent of future policies in Tehran. His emergence as a power player on the international stage coincides with the conclusion of a sixth round of “indirect” talks between U.S. and Iranian officials in Vienna, which so far have not produced an agreement.

“The United States has to come to the recognition that it was the United States that left the deal with an objective, and that objective was not achieved,” Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said Saturday. “Now it is coming back to the deal, so it cannot dictate the objectives that it couldn’t achieve through economic war on the negotiating table. I think that’s a cognitive transformation that the U.S. administration needs to make. And I think we are getting there, but not there yet.”
The timing of Raisi’s emergence as president-elect and the latest break in the talks —
the negotiators are returning to their capitals for new consultations — has raised the possibility that Iranian officials will return to Vienna with new demands, but it remains to be seen how they will approach a seventh round.
“It could be that the Rouhani and Raisi teams are actually playing good-cop/bad-cop,”
Ben Taleblu said. “Ultimately, the foreign and security policy is going to
be devised elsewhere. The president is going to be implementing the policy,
but with the amount of latitude granted to him by the Supreme Leader.
So, time will tell.”

Why Iran’s New President Ebrahim Raisi Isn’t Who You Think He Is

What is eternal life? Eternal life traditionally refers to continued life after death, as outlined in Christian eschatology. The Apostles’ Creed testifies:
“I believe… the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.” In this view, eternal life commences after the second coming of Jesus and the resurrection of the dead, although in the New Testament’s Johannine literature there are references to eternal life commencing in the earthly life of the believer, possibly indicating an inaugurated eschatology.
He gift of eternal life comes to those who believe in Jesus Christ, who is Himself “the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25). The fact that this life is “eternal” indicates that it is perpetual life—it goes on and on and on, with
no end. It is a mistake, however, to view eternal life as simply an unending progression of years. Eternal life is not simply life that never ends, but a fullness of life that is unending. In fact, in many ways, eternal life really has nothing to do with time as it can be experienced apart from time as well as within time. The Bible tells us that everyone will exist eternally!!!  Peace & Love – YouTube

Yeah I just argued with someone about this. Of course they twisted the intent behind HIPAA and made it sound like it is completely okay.
However it is most certainly not. Never has applied. You thought you were free and your information was “private”. HIPAA only applies now when it has to do with Biden, Pelosi, Schumer and most other Democrats. It is alive and well.

Kamala Harris Has Been Set Up to Fail: Joe Biden set Kamala Harris up
for failure before he even chose her as his running mate. In March 2020, in
a presidential debate with Bernie Sanders-then his last opponent standing—Biden promised to name a woman as his vice president. (Sanders replied that “in all likelihood,” he’d do the same.) It was a tactless, tokenizing way to make Democratic voters, the vast majority of whom are not white men, feel less icky that their choices had come down to two white men after the most diverse presidential primary in history.

How much longer can our nation withstand Biden’s insanity?

Trump tried to defeat Rothshilds Central Bank in our Government,

Discernment is a critical thinking skill.
This happened quietly… without any media coverage
by Michael Tellinger

Watching the USA from the outside is like watching a great tragedy taking place – with the villains running freely causing more and more destruction – shifting the blame onto those who want to uphold peace and harmony and to simply live a beautiful life. For all my friends in the USA – please be aware that your country is under full blown attack by the same Rothschild funded Bolshevik insurgent agents that caused most of the destruction and chaos in the world over the past 250 years.
This is the most dangerous organized crime syndicate on Earth. They have killed presidents, started wars, overturned governments, abducted, tortured, extorted, bribed and murdered millions of people to retain their control over most of the world’s governments to date. Among their more famous victims have been: Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Archduke Franz Ferdinand 1914; Tsar Nikolai Romanov 1918, JFK in 1963, Hendrik Verwoerd South African Prime minister 1966, and many world leaders who defied their
banking system – including Muammar Gaddafi of Libya.

Donald Trump is the first leader to have broken that control and removed them from power in the USA by taking control of the FED. This is why the attacks on him are so vicious and relentless, and they come from all sides. Since the USA was always the Rothschild’s strongest territory – to control the rest of the world, with its powerful army, these global criminals have pulled out all the stops to overturn a duly elected president.

Image

They have activated and unleashed all their assets to achieve this.

Stillness in the Storm
How the Rothschild family rule the United States Of America – Since Trump controlled the Army and FED, their main tool is the mainstream media, with its repeating lies and propaganda 24/7 to poison the minds of the people. They are fighting for their survival. They will lie to your face, use human tragedy and emotion in their favor against you, destroy the economy, destroy cities and monuments, bring down an entire country, kill and deceive everyone – just to achieve victory.
Please be aware of this. If they cannot destroy Trump – they will be finally destroyed after 250 years of global control. If you live in the USA, it is very difficult to get a clear view of the situation, because most of the US media is part of the Cabal and toxic with anti-Trump propaganda. Trump’s victory will liberate all other countries from the Rothschild control of all central banks and bring freedom to people everywhere.

How does a central bank get rich during times of war.
Whether you like Trump or not, is not the issue – he is the only world leader who has defeated the Rothschild’s by hijacking their central bank in the USA Government. This happened quietly during March 2020, and without any media coverage, because the media is owned by the same Rothschild banking empire. TRUMP’s success against the deep state and their Communist, Bolshevik agents, is not about the USA surviving – it is liberating the WHOLE WORLD from their bloodthirsty control. Inform yourself – be smart – be aware.
The freedom of the world depends on your next move and what happens in the USA .
The United States fought the American Revolution primarily over King George III’s Currency act, which forced the colonists to conduct their business only using printed bank notes borrowed from the Bank of England at interest. After the revolution, the new United States adopted a radically different economic system in which the government issued its own value-based money, so that private banks like the Bank of England were not siphoning off the wealth of the people through interest-bearing bank notes.
But bankers are nothing if not dedicated to their schemes to acquire your wealth, and know full well how easy it is to corrupt a nation’s leaders. Just one year after Mayer Amschel Rothschild had uttered his infamous “Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who makes the laws”, the bankers succeeded in setting up a new Private Central Bank called the First Bank of the United States, largely through the efforts of the Rothschild’s chief US supporter, Alexander Hamilton.    The Federal Reserve Cartel – Eight Families own the USA #BIS, IMF, World Bank – The Herland Report (hannenabintuherland.com)

Maybe we need another million man March, but this time to Gettysburg, Monticello, Philadelphia….a gathering of the people …THE MAGA PEACE MARCH! We are the non violent, peaceful, silent majority….it is time for us to take our country back!
Also, there are those on the left who think he’s completely justified for saying this. How did our country become so hateful?

When the leftist mob disrupted the Kavanaugh hearings; cornered Senator Flake in an elevator; *blocked hallways and took over* (*CNN: “gathered in”) Sen. Collins’ office, there was no solitary confinement of these trespassing insurrectionists!

I think that they are hearing the rumblings of many patriots who are fed up with what the left has done. Now Dementia Joe is talking the Military, how many bullets they can fire, F-15’s flying over & nuclear weapons.

They know what is coming. Why do you think they’re trying to take firearms?
The only reason why the government would want to disarm you after 243 years is because they intend to do something that you would shoot them for. Hillary Clinton made odd statements. She said “If I go down, I’m not going alone” and “If they catch us they will hang us?

Because Trump said this week if the audits prove him to be the winner then it will be up to the public to reinstate him and the Dems will not let go of power without violence. So they can use our own military against us and are willing to do so. They are determined to make all Americans slaves.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Chatty Gemini also loves to be in environments that are invigorating to
her vivacious spirit, but that doesn’t necessarily mean roaring parties and rambunctious crowds. Occasionally they’ll let loose at a concert, but these renowned dual personalities flourish more in spaces where they can moderate intellectual conversations. Geminis are content in the comfort of their own homes, enjoying their own company. If they should throw a shindig, it’s likely to be something small.
You can find Geminis hosting a small book club in the backyard with
fancy hors d’oeuvres, followed by a deep discussion about a new novel.
You might also catch them at a small networking event, brushing up on their personal branding skills. And you can expect them to host an intimate watch party for the latest environmental documentary that just came out on Netflix, right in their living room. Basically, these social creatures don’t get on the VIP list, they create it.

“Does the president believe that a 15-week-old, unborn baby is a human being?”
A reporter asked Jen Psaki during the daily White House press briefing.
“Are you asking me if the president supports a woman’s right to choose?” replied Psaki, dodging the question. “He does.”
Biden’s support for abortion in all stages, despite claiming to be a devout and faithful Catholic, has recently resurfaced in the news after the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) voted to clarify the guidelines for
pro-abortion politicians receiving communion.
“Joe Biden is a strong man of faith and as he noted just a couple of days ago, it’s personal,” Psaki said, adding that the president did not “see it through a political prism.”
“That’s how many Americans feel as well,” she added.
Psaki also ignored follow-up questions about Biden’s struggle with the USCCB over the issue of abortion. “I think we’re going to move on to the next question, because I’ve just answered that, and it’s personal,” she said. On Friday, Biden challenged the bishops on the issue.
“I don’t think that’s going to happen,” he said to reporters at the White House.

Humanity is Waiting in line to file for unemployment benefits in Fort Smith, Ark., last April!!!

The Pandemic Stimulus Was Front-Loaded. That Could Mean a Bumpy Year.
The U.S. economy is about to face a new challenge that has its roots in the arithmetic of growth: That which fiscal stimulus giveth, fiscal stimulus taketh away.

The $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan enacted in March, as well as a $900 billion pandemic aid package passed in December, are heavily front-loaded. They were set up to get money out the door fast. But one consequence of that strategy is that fiscal policy in the quarters ahead will subtract from economic growth.

Economists mostly project that the economy, with strong momentum in the labor market and huge pools of pent-up savings by households, will be strong enough to keep growing despite the fading of the fiscal boost. To avoid an economic downturn, a huge handoff must occur from government-driven demand to the private sector. The mainstream view is that this will be successful.
But there are aspects of this unusual economic moment that could make the road ahead bumpy. There is no modern precedent for such huge swings in sums the government is pumping into the economy. And there is a risk — recently acknowledged by a top Federal Reserve official — that if pandemic-era savings are disproportionately held by the affluent, they will sit on that cash rather than spend it. “We’re definitely going to see a huge drop-off in fiscal stimulus,” said  Nancy Vanden Houten, lead economist at Oxford Economics.

“The question then is how well positioned is the economy to deal with that,
and we don’t really know for sure, which applies to so much about this period we’re going through.” Most Americans who were to receive stimulus checks of a combined $2,000 per person have already gotten them. The Treasury Department said this month that $395 billion of that cash is now shipped, which is slightly more than the payments in the American Rescue Plan were projected to cost when it was passed.
While unemployment insurance payments remain elevated, that spending is also tapering as people return to work — and supplements to those payments are scheduled to expire in September. Much of the other spending was either near-term, focused on things like vaccine rollout, or will be spent very gradually, such as on an expanded child tax credit and grants to state and local governments.
Overall, government spending added 8.5 percentage points to the economic growth rate in the first quarter, according to calculations by the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy at the Brookings Institution. But that so-called fiscal impact is forecast to turn slightly negative in the second and third quarters — and then act as a meaningful drag on growth in the fourth quarter of 2021 and in 2022.

By the second quarter of 2022, fiscal policy is on track to subtract 3.3 percentage points from the growth rate, considerably more than the 2.2-percentage-point subtraction in the third quarter of 2011, which was the most extreme quarter in the last post-stimulus hangover of the previous recession. That could change depending on where negotiations on infrastructure and family support policies lead, but those policies would be expected to influence fiscal policy over many years — they are back loaded rather than front-loaded — so they shouldn’t radically change the near-term future.
The case for staying calm even as federal spending plummets rests on the rapid growth of the private sector in recent months. Employers are adding to their payrolls at a breakneck pace, so rising compensation ought to prop up consumer spending even as government support goes away. Businesses report being in an expansionary mood, which bodes well for investment spending. And overseas economies should start to surge ahead as other countries achieve more widespread vaccination, which would be good news for American exports.
“I think the basic story is that the economy is reopening, so it can take the fact that this stimulus is coming off,” said Louise Sheiner, a senior fellow at Brookings.

Moreover, Americans are sitting on a vast pool of savings from money they didn’t spend on things like travel and restaurants during the pandemic. Households have saved an average of $282 billion per month since March 2020, compared with $103 billion a month in 2019.
So a big question for the economy in the second half of 2021 and 2022 is what happens to that cumulative additional savings of $2.5 trillion. Will it prop up near-term spending enough to keep growth on a strong track, or will Americans instead prefer the comfort of having a beefed-up balance sheet?
That’s where the distributional concern arises. To the degree that money is held by people who are financially well-off, they may be less likely to spend it and   help propel the economy.  “Today’s fiscal tailwinds are projected to shift to headwinds next year,” said Lael Brainard, a Fed governor, in a speech this month.   “So an important question is how much household spending will continue to support growth into next year, as opposed to settling back to pre pandemic trends.”

On the other hand, the rapidly shrinking fiscal surge could help moderate the inflation pressures that have been building in the economy. Whatever you think of the decision to send $2,000 to people, there won’t be any more checks that might push demand even higher and risk fueling a cycle of inflation. Ultimately, this is another example of the ways the pandemic-driven economy is an unusual one.
The only real historical comparisons to the kinds of surges in government spending of the last five quarters involve the beginnings and ends of wars, which have their own economic dynamics. Which means it’s worth watching exactly what happens as the federal government pulls back, and whether American consumers and businesses and importers from around the world step up the way forecasters expect.  100 Most Dangerous Cities – 2021

From what I saw in the bible,

Kushner Unveils $50 Billion ‘Peace to Prosperity’ Plan for Mideast | Voice of America – English (voanews.com)

I believed that Trump would announce an Israeli peace agreement in June of 2019. https://www.voanews.com/usa/us-politics/kushner-unveils-50-billion-peace-prosperity-plan-mideast

Remember, Trump would not be elected for another 9 months…
How did I know that 3.5 years before it happened?

Nobody else was predicting that.
Ain’t many that would agree with me but I believe we’re now down
to around 5 1/2 years. Show me a 7 year tribulation in the bible…
It’s not there, there are (2×3.5 year periods.) with the first 3.5 being when they “ask you to join” and the second 3.5 being the TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS where you’ll suffer greatly if you don’t join…I believe we’re in the first 3.5 year period where they are establishing/ consolidating power.  Trying any way they can to entice people to join them.

Right around mid 2023:
I believe the asking phase is gonna be over.
By that time, they will have clearly delineated who’s on what side.
You’ll either have done what they told you to (Join them) or you won’t
utilize their Banking, Utilities, Grocery stores, or Medical facilities.
This is about them building a Worldwide Army to fight Jesus Christ
when he returns to earth.

The Satanists know the full implications of Rev 16:16 and they know
the 7 year countdown began when the Israeli Knesset accepted that peace agreement  (Notice the complete global chaos began within several weeks of the Knesset’s decision.)

The Satanists actually believe they can defeat the Creator of the cosmos.
Just as Jesus said, 99% of average Christians will be too busy with helicopter parenting their kids, or worrying about a non deadly virus or some other insignificant issue to notice his imminent return.  This is just my opinion though…

Death Sentence | JTLP American Patriot (gab.com)
@40AcresandaPrayer I’ve been thinking along these lines too….
like everything else in the Bible, we have overanalyzed Revelation.

Christians don’t see the big picture because they are wrapped around some timing detail, and are like the old story about the man on the roof in the flood who keeps turning down rescuers, saying “God will rescue me…” and when God yanks him off the roof — he says to God “what took you so long?” God says, “who did you think was in the boat, and the helicopter, and the raft….”

@CJLowcountryPatriot @40AcresandaPrayer Let us look at Revelation for a minute, we know that Revelation takes place around Israel. Israel was not a nation again until 1948 when Psalms 48 mentions a birth in one day, that was Israel. Most people did not associate Israel with Revelation so nothing could happen until Israel became a nation again. So now let us look at Psalms 90 verse 10, generation is 70 years, with strength 80 years, but when strength, labour, and sorrow fails we fly away. Israel is 73 this year. Now let’s look at what Jesus stated, this generation shall not pass until all prophecies are fulfilled. Since the generation ends at 80 there are only 7 years left.

So let us look further into the bible, Song of Solomon 2 shows the bridegroom comes after winter in the spring when the fig tree branch is tender. We also see the mention of over the mountain the bridegroom comes, Behold, in Psalms 121 the mountain is mentioned as well as we shall no longer be smitted by the sun and moon, in seal 6 of Revelation we have the mention of the untimely figs from the fig tree, Matthew 24:32 the green branches and summer is nigh, as well as after we are taken to heaven then the sun will not touch us nor the heat and we shall be with the Lord and He takes us to God to have our tears wiped away.
So to see exactly where we are right now, Solomon, Psalms, Gospels for the fig tree, and seal 6 all say the same thing for the rapture.

Then we look further into Psalms and Revelation then we see that from
Psalms 121-128 matches seal 6 to chapter 19 for the 7 years and in Psalms that match with Revelation 20 Israel survived its youth. So we are indeed further along than what people want to believe. For soon the rapture of the church shall be here. Check it out for yourselves. For when sorrow-kingdom against kingdom and nation against nation fails, labour- the workforce is declining and fewer people are wanting to work, and strength- the time between 70 and 80 years when people shall be worn out. fails we fly away, Psalms 90 verse 10.

Nearly 4,000 fully vaccinated people in Massachusetts have tested positive for coronavirus. The easiest way to present the main reason why I don’t trust any of the rapture doctrine today is because some years ago when I was researching Marxism, I discovered that Rothschild had his hands in so many things that took root in the year 1844 and Darby with his dispensationalism and rapture were one of them. So I will start with Darby the man, funded by the house of Rothschild to bring confusion to your church and why it didn’t bother him to do so at all. Hold on rapture lovers this is going to take your breath away.

John Nelson Darby was a Satanist, Freemason and agent of the Rothschild-owned British East India Company, which  was a powerful multinational corporation that supplied trade world-wide for the Crown.
And we now know after the Revolutionary war, via the Paris Treaty, the East India Company in the colonies ceased and Payseur became a debt collector for the Crown in its place in Virginia.  We now know this later changed in 1871 to THE UNITED STATES INC. when congress sold the land to pay off its’ civil war debt via entering into a tri-corporate agreement between the Vatican and London Bank, via using Vatican’s gold to pay off the Crown.

Darby’s family owned Leap Castle, which was famous for being the most sinister and occult castle in Ireland’s history.  But, he soon became more famous for being the leader of a Christian sect called the Plymouth Brethren (named for Plymouth, England, where its most popular gatherings were held). He is generally credited with originating the “Secret Rapture” doctrine and made several trips to America to spread his ideas.
The Rothschild’s committed their fortune to the Zionist movement, beginning around but no later than 1829.  Now this was a shared effort with the Oligarchy/Cabal and concealed from the public. A secret society movement to help achieve its global policies through international organizations that later grew into Bilderbergers, Trilateral Commission, and an upper level of Freemasonry. With its highest identifiable source as the Rothschild banking dynasty. Their shared goal is to bring Lucifer out into the light and to do away with the Christians, or at least move them into confusion in order to direct them into a one world religion. Which today is the sustainable development goals for the 21st century that are the big push of the United Nations.

Which is controlled by Babylon the Great.
Now one of the other things that happened in 1844 was the World Zionist Movement officially organized in New York City. Also brought to you by Rothschild’s and the Secret Societies who sought to rule the world.  At the same time in 1844, Darwin’s Theory on Evolution and Marxism reached a popularity and these pet projects were now recognized and pushed as truths even though all were theories.
All of these theories were funded and or encouraged by the secret cabal to serve their bidding. I have done a lot of research on the year 1844 and was wanting to do a book on it titled, “1844” With a subtitle, “The Year Satan Pulled Out All His Guns”.
For all the seeds planted in 1844 grew into monsters of acceptable practice of today. Even cyber warfare was born in 1844 with the telegraph and the first overseas communication. The message sent was, “What hath God wrought?”
I always thought the Prince of the Power of the air was mocking God…as it should have stated, “What hath Satan Wrought?”
Today it has grown into the World Wide Web and Cyber Warfare.

Everything from 1844 has grown into a monster used by the Satanic Cabal to control the masses today. From the work of James Perloff, he has documented a very thorough history of Darby and all the Cabal/Illuminati movements generated by the same. Here are some of the excerpts to his link on the subject:
“Darby used many terms in common with occult Theosophists—he referred to Jesus as “the coming one” (same term New Agers use for the Antichrist); referred to God as the “architect” (same phrase employed by Freemasons, meaning “God” for the uninitiated, “Lucifer” to true adepts); and many other occult phrases, as summarized in this article.

“Darby even penned his own satanic version of the Bible.
The Illuminati have always known they could not perform a wholesale transformation of the Bible, because it would be recognized as such and rejected. Therefore the approach through the centuries has been to whittle it away: a word here, a phrase there—the universal strategy of boiling the frog.
“Darby slyly introduced satanic wording into the Biblical text. For example, in the King James rendering of John 6:69, Peter told Jesus: “And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.” Darby rendered this: “And we have believed and known that thou art the holy one of God.” “Holy one of God” is a title used for Jesus only by demons in King James. For a comprehensive review of Darby’s satanic mistranslations, see the article John Nelson Darby Version: Doctrinal Changes to the Holy Bible.
No one wants to hear that the beliefs and interpretations to the Bible they have memorized and believed, and shared with others to bring to the Lord are a tool of the illuminati and the same Cabal that stole the election and is pushing vaccines and wants to rule the world in a tyranny after it is depopulated. No Christian wants to know they were duped by Satan himself into believing a lie. No one wants to hear that.

But it has to be heard. If not now…when? It will be too late to come out of her my people. So anyone wanting to argue over scriptures…we can. But before we put energy batting words back and forth. Look and see whose message you are spreading. For it is not of the Lord, it is of the very thing you hate. It is the same Cabal that little by little stole your Constitutional Freedoms and God given rights. These same ones are behind stealing your Jesus and making his message twisted into something that is not true.
Dispensations take the entire Bible and censors things saying they no longer apply and fits things where they don’t belong. It leaves room to twist and reinterpret and destroy the true meaning of what God’s Word said. It is literally an abomination to the meaning of the Word of God. All to dumb you down –
it is the fake news of the Bible!

FAKE with a little truth here and there.
Please read the motivations as to why the Cabal had Darby teach it and
how the Cabal has modified it all along the way.

More excerpts:
Unfortunately, as we will now see, Fundamentalism was itself infiltrated and hijacked, consistent with the Rothschild strategy of funding both sides of wars. Fundamentalist churches were targeted to enlist their support for the Zionist agenda. The two principal agents in this scheme were

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) and Cyrus Scofield (1843-1921)
What Darby planted, Scofield watered and disseminated. The theology they developed served the agenda by making several claims:

• God wanted the Jews to return to, and take over, Palestine.
• God has two plans of salvation—one through the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
the other a guarantee reserved for Jews, his “Chosen People.”
• Christians should not involve themselves in politics, education, business or the arts, as these are “worldly” matters that should be left in the hands of “worldly” people. (The consequences of this doctrine are very visible in American culture today.)
• God deals with mankind differently during different historical time frames or “dispensations,” of which there are seven. The current one, “Grace” under Jesus Christ, is merely the sixth of the seven dispensations.
• The Christian Church is doomed to inevitable failure, which will bring the Dispensation of Grace to a close.
• The end of this dispensational age will be marked by the Tribulation—worldwide persecution under the Antichrist for a period of seven years; however, Christians need not concern themselves with this, since Jesus will “Rapture” believers off the Earth and they won’t be around to experience it.
• Earth will then experience a Jewish era; Jewish ritualistic animal sacrifices will be reinstituted; Jesus will reign for a thousand years from Solomon’s rebuilt temple in Jerusalem.

These doctrines, whose main outcome was “Christian Zionism,”
might seem boring to atheists and agnostics, but they are nonetheless exceedingly relevant to the state of the world. They are espoused by celebrity-status theologians like Hal Lindsey, Pat Robertson and John Hagee, in the best-selling Left Behind book series, and are prevailing views in many conservative evangelical churches. Without these ideas?

Survival of the Fittest

Life After College And A Championship Win 🙂
Survival of the Fittest
Survival of the fittest term made famous in
the fifth edition of On the Origin of Species
by Charles Darwin.

Which suggested that organisms best adjusted to their environment are the most successful in succeeding. “Survival of the fittest” is a phrase that originated from Darwinian evolutionary theory as a way of describing the mechanism of natural selection. The biological concept of fitness is defined as reproductive success. In Darwinian terms the phrase is best understood as “Survival of the form that will leave the most copies of itself in successive generations.” The continued existence of organisms which are best adapted to their environment, with the extinction of others, as a concept in the Darwinian theory of evolution.

Compare with natural selection.

The belief that only the people with a strong desire to succeed and the ability to change as conditions change will achieve success: Lodewicus Theodorus “Louis” Oosthuizen is a South African professional golfer who won the 2010 Open Championship. He also holds the distinction of having finished runner-up in all four major championships: the 2012 Masters Tournament, the 2015 and 2021 U.S. Open, the 2015 Open Championship, and the PGA Championship in 2017 and 2021. He is one of eight golfers to accomplish this feat, joining Craig Wood, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Greg Norman, Phil Mickelson, and Dustin Johnson. His highest placing on the Official World Golf Ranking is fourth, which he reached in January 2013.

I love Louie’s demeanor on the course. He’s so calm and polite.

He would be a good guy to pair with. I also Love his swing and he’s a consistent putter too.
Louie has a perfect swing and still hits shitty shots. He has perfect rhythm, not a perfect swing. There’s no hope for the rest of us… 3 times in contention on the final day this year and falls apart .
Louie has been in contention on the final day 3 times this year. He is the only player in the top 8 that hasn’t shot under par today, otherwise he would have won or had a play-off . He’s a bag of nerves and a bottle job !! They don’t paint pictures on score cards. It’s not how it’s how many. Nicklaus said Tom Weiskopf  had the perfect swing.

The Golden Bear won more majors. You know that this game is won between the ears too. The top 8 all shot under par on the final day . Not concerned about day 3 . My point is, he’s been a wuss on day 4 . Top 8 entering Sunday and they shot final round Henley 73 …Hughes…77……Bryson…..77…..McIlroy ….73..….. Scheffler….73…….Wollf ….74 !!!

Rahm’s putting on the last two holes was incredible. That put the pressure on Louie….. Top Golfers All time:  I’m tired of hearing how great his swing is. It’s got great tempo and balance, but it’s not a perfect swing. He struggles with his hips moving into the ball just like the rest of us. I guess you never heard the old saying about the golf pro with the million dollar swing and 10 cent head. I’ve seen a million of them everywhere. At the end of the day all we can do is shoot our shot.. That’s the beauty of the swing; its two parts-technique and tempo. 2nd one is sooo hard to keep when shoulders get tight and we try to steer it.

Dr Bob Rotella said it best…golf is not a game of perfection.

He has to be extremely wealthy at this point, and his tips have helped my golf swing tremendously. As we golfers know, it’s not really about the great shots you hit …it’s the number of average ones you get away with that makes the most difference. Speak for yourself. I have an awful swing and still hit a few decent shots. There’s hope for us all. Perfect swing if he finishes his backswing. Got too quick and pulled it like his coach says.
It’s a toss up between best looking swings Louis Oosthuizen golf swing – Bing video and Tom Lewis golf swing – Bing video

However, TL hasn’t had even near the success of LOUIE. Rory has The smoothest swing on tour…. That swing is butter!!! I was there Thursday. It was humbling to watch how good those swings are and still yell fore and hit trees. Shit it is not easy! You still have to aim them correctly.

I’m not sure his target off the tee on 17, but I bet it was too far left.

The decade line in golf swing – was at the right bunkers.

Thought this exact thing when he hit it in the barranca. Also I fucking love your attitude. You take sooo much Shit IN STRIDE. Plus you can shoot in the 60s at Torrey. Matt Wolf golf swing video and Louis prove that any swing can lose… Then there are those with * jIM Furyk golf swing – video laughs * imperfect swing OR (1) Nick Price ARC swing slow motion  versus (1) Fred Couples Lever golf swing who hit good shots. Weird game 80% between the ears…. The most important shots in golf require little “swing” in th3 short game.
Picking on one of the most beloved players on tour ain’t cool. He is human like the rest of us, as is Bryson, Phil, JT, Jordan, Rory,.. We all suck sometimes, at golf that is. He’s a great example of being disappointed as a competitor but not mentally tortured…he may have a few more chances to hit some shitty shots… You know I think we can call this Meltdown Sunday. It wasn’t just Louie …Bryson.

He’s too nice. I know that sounds stupid but he doesn’t have that killer instinct and it showed up big time today. But it could have been my fault. I put a bet on him after the 13th hole and I am good at picking losers. Trust the swing, just release the club head & see what happens. Do it again and again, that’s golf. Between the ears is where the perfect golf swing lives to get the job done if your shitty shots are away from the trouble, you’ve got a chance. Paige Spiranac (@PaigeSpiranac) / Twitter

Paige Spiranac’s Fresh Perspective On Golf Has Earned Her Lots Of Fans.

Paige Renee Spiranac – Wikipedia (born March 26, 1993) is an American social media personality and former professional golfer. She played college golf at both the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, winning All-Mountain West Conference honors during the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons, and leading the Aztecs to their first Mountain West Conference Championship in 2015.[1]

Spiranac – Wikipedia first played professionally in December 2015, joined the developmental Cactus Tour in May 2016, earning her first and only win in June when she defeated an amateur golfer at Scottsdale’s Orange Tree Country Club.[2] In August, Spiranac failed in her attempt to qualify for a card to play on the professional LPGA circuit, and she retired from professional golf in December 2016.  Paige Spiranac – Wikipedia

After initially creating her social media accounts to post trick-shot videos,[2] Spiranac had more than 2 million followers on Instagram by 2018.[3]
(1) Paige Spiranac’s Fresh Perspective On Golf has been playing the game since childhood, but only recently has she been getting a lot of attention. After an article was written about her, Paige’s social media following went from a few thousand to a few hundred thousand, virtually overnight. That’s a lot of new golf fans! Keep reading to learn more about this athlete’s story and how she’s attracting people to the world of golf.
Paige Spiranac Has Been Playing Golf All Her Life.

Like many kids, Paige Spiranac played a few different sports as a young girl, including golf. The game became such an infatuation for the athlete that her friends and family weren’t surprised when she went on to play at the collegiate level.
She competed on the women’s golf team at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University. While playing in college, Paige did exceptionally well, winning various championships and titles.
(1) Paige didn’t grow up wanting to play golf.
She was interested in another sport altogether. Keep reading to find out which!
Paige Spiranac: Winning at the collegiate level. From the 2012 through the 2014 seasons, Paige brought home the All-Mountain West Conference title for San Diego State University. She also went on to help the Aztecs women’s golf team win their first-ever Mountain West Conference title. Even so, the women’s golf community is small. She didn’t necessarily get a lot of attention. That is until she started doing something very specific on social media. Then, Paige was getting a boatload of attention!
She learned the power of social media early on in her career.
Social Media And (1) Paige Spiranac doingTrick Shots. While in school, Paige began to use her social media accounts, specifically Instagram, to post videos of her performing various trick shots. The short clips gained her a huge audience, something she wasn’t expecting at all! Her following is so large, over two million, that she is technically considered a social media personality. That’s not too bad at all for an athlete who posted some videos just for fun.

What was next for Paige?
Life After College And A Championship Win

Of course, her time in college had to come to an end. In July of 2015, people finally saw Paige away from the Aztecs and on her own, playing in the Colorado Women’s Golf Association Match Play Championship. After her 35-hole title match against Brittany Fan of the University of Colorado Boulder, Paige was able to snag the win with nine holes under par. This is the same year, Paige began to get quite the following.

Next: why she gave up her first sport of choice.

She Grew Up A Gymnast

Golf sensation Paige Spiranac’s worst injuries ever – including vile detached nail

When she was growing up, Paige had huge dreams of becoming an Olympic gymnast.

At a young age, she was even invited to train at the Karolyi Ranch. However, the universe had other plans for the young girl… big plans.

Paige Spiranac broke her kneecap not once, but twice during training.

Sadly, Paige was also bullied by peers for her Olympic dreams.

Both events had her quitting before she made it to the podium.image.png

Starting Off Her Career With Five Titles – Bing video

Paige Starting Off Her Career With Five Titles  It’s safe to say it didn’t take long for Paige to become a master of the sport. Just starting off, the young girl won five titles in the Colorado junior golf circuit. Then, in 2010, she went on to win the Connecticut Women’s Golf Association Junior Stroke Playback. This was just the beginning of Paige’s long and successful golfing career, though. Next, the young player was headed off to college, where she was going to make waves!

Next: find out how much her first professional prize was worth.

2016: The Year She Turned Pro

While Paige was gaining a huge following as an amateur golfer, 2016 brought a whole different can of worms. It was the year Paige could finally call herself a professional golfer, after coming in 9th at the CoBank Colorado Women’s Open. Along with being able to leave the course calling herself a pro, Paige also walked away with a prize of $1,750! It’s not nearly as much as seasoned professionals make at the end of a win, but it’s a start.

Next: Paige attended two different colleges… Do you know which ones?

Heading To College

Considering all of the titles and championships she won as a junior player, it’s not hard to imagine all of the schools wanting to recruit Paige. One of these schools was the University of Arizona, where she earned a scholarship. Although she didn’t stay with the Arizona Wildcats for the duration of her college career, Paige sure did make it known that she was a contender on the course, even as a freshman.

Unfortunately, the University of Arizona wasn’t a fit for Paige, so she transferred to another school.

image.png

That’s coming up next. She Shot A Personal Best of 73

While Paige played as a freshman for the Arizona Wildcats during the 2011-2012 season, she shot a personal best of 73, twice! More remarkably, she was able to shoot that score twice when she only played in three events. But the school wasn’t a good fit. And after her first year, Paige decided she wanted a change of scenery. So, she uprooted herself from Arizona and moved to southern California and San Diego State University.

How’d she do in San Diego? You’re about to find out.image.png

San Diego State University Proved To Be The Right Move For Paige.

As it so happens, the transfer was the right move for the student-athlete. During the 2012-2013 season, Paige obtained sixth-place Mountain West Championship honors, the 19th finish during the NCAA Central Regional Championships, First-Team All-Mountain West honors, and fifth-place Cal Classic honors. Not too bad for her first year on the women’s team at San Diego State! And that was only her second year in college. This golfer was just starting to show what she was made of. Paige Was Second-Team All-Mountain West Honors

After a stellar 2012-2013 season, people were excited to see what Paige was going to bring to the team as a junior during the 2013-2014 season. As it turned out, she didn’t disappoint. As an upperclassman, Paige went on to achieve Second-Team All-Mountain West Honors as well as a top ten finish at the Mountain West Championship. It’s safe to say Paige had a very bright golf career ahead of her after college.

Next: one of the happiest moments of Paige’s life.

Of course, after three amazing years playing at the collegiate level, it only makes sense that Paige’s college golfing career went out with a bang. According to Paige, winning the title was “one of the absolute happiest moments of my life.” Ironically, the title was just the start of Paige’s career.

Of course, Paige’s fanbase was growing with each of her achievements.

In 2015, Paige began to see a huge uptick in her social media followers.

Who does she have to thank for the exposure, you might ask?

The follower explosion is all in thanks to a Total Frat Move article that encouraged people to check out the golfer. In just two days, the number of followers on Paige’s Instagram account went from being under 10,000 to 100,000.

That’s a crazy uptick in the world of Social Media Platforms

How Paige Spiranac became golf’s sex symbol — and pissed off the pros (nypost.com)

While the golfer has only one win under her belt as a pro, she is still a huge social media personality and one of the main faces for women’s golf.

Aside from Paige Spiranac  (@paigespiranac_) Instagram, people also follow Paige Spiranac (@PaigeSpiranac) / Twitter. The athlete actually uses the platform       to help promote some of her other business ventures, including her podcast. One of her tweets said, “Idk if you heard, but I have a podcast. Playing A Round With Paige Renee on Apple Podcasts …

A golf podcast… So yeah, please listen. I’d very much appreciate that!”       Paige Spiranac’s career – Bing

You might not believe this next fact about Paige.

Ironically, She’s Camera Shy

While she is very active on social media, promoting the sport, her podcast, and teaching various tips and tricks of golf, Paige is ironically very camera shy. To get over her fear, Paige actually went as far as launching her own YouTube channel. She wanted to get over the fear of sharing her thoughts with strangers over the internet. And considering she very much enjoys talking about golf and helping people with their game, it was definitely something she had to get over!

CyberSmile And Anti-Bullying

It’s a good thing Paige was able to get over her camera fright since she uses her social media platform for more than posting selfies. Instead, Paige uses her platforms to help the greater good, such as being involved with groups like CyberSmile. This anti-bullying group is something near and dear to Paige’s heart, as she was a victim of bullying during her youth. In the group, she opens up about her experiences with bullies and low self-esteem, hoping to help someone dealing with the same thing.

image.png
Like many female athletes, Paige appeared on the cover of a famous magazine.

Paige Has More Than One Sponsor

In fact, CyberSmile is one of the many groups sponsoring the young professional Athlete. Paige is also sponsored by Philip Stein Watches, Mizzen + Main, Parsons Xtreme Golf, and 18Birdies. She is also under contract with Golf Digest, modeling clothing for their website. And, to answer your question, yes, the partnership and her “non-tradition golf attire” brought in a solid amount of traffic to the Golf Digest website. It might have been what put her on Sports Illustrated‘s radar!

The only thing is, she did something no other female athlete has done before. What was it?

She Was On The Cover Of Sports Illustrated!!!

While Paige has more than one sponsorship, a contract with Golf Digest, and multiple titles under her belt, one of her crowning moments was when she modeled for the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine. In 2018, Paige graced Golf Digest cover of the magazine holding her sport’s equipment, something other female athletes’ haven’t done in the past. And that’s not the only big moment that happened to Paige that year.

Paige Writes A Column For Golf Magazine

The year 2018 brought more to it than the cover of Sports Illustrated. It also brought a writing job for Paige. Yup, when she isn’t managing her multiple social media accounts or hitting balls on the course, Paige is writing a monthly column for Golf Magazine, something she personally started for the company. Of course, she is more focused on the sport and less on writing about it, but it’s nice to know she’s very much invested in her fans!

We need to fully defund this sick organization. Not one taxpayer dollar should go to them. If enemies are among us, why aren’t they getting arrested and charged for treason?
Well, I have a window that looks directly at the World Trade Center and I saw this huge explosion. I was with a group of people and I really couldn’t believe it and even though I thought it was worse than that for years, I looked right directly at the building. I see the Empire State Building in the foreground and the World Trade Center in the background, and now…I’m looking at absolutely nothing. It’s just gone. America’s Greatest Danger Isn’t China. It’s Ourselves

Bible prophecy expert Ron Rhodes offers an easy-to-understand yet detailed chronology and explanation of end-times events. The chapters are arranged around the major end-times themes: the rapture, the tribulation, the millennial kingdom, and the eternal state. I have always had a problem understanding Revelation, ever since I read the Bible for the first time, I have read it a lot of times by now in many different versions, from King James through the NIV. And while the NIV and the English Standard are my preferred choices, nothing has helped me understand Revelation.
This book does! First it covers ALL the prophecies that are in the bible, that refer to the Messiah and the end times. Then it breaks them down into how they relate to us today and they EXPLAIN what they mean! It’s very clear and covers everything about the Second Coming and the End Times. Now I understand! And you will too! This does not mean that I fully understand the bible, you have to continue to read to digest what you are reading. It’s a never ending cycle, but I’m a better person (I think, because of it).
I highly recommend this book for people who read and study the bible.
I think you’ll like it. Ron Rhodes (ThD), president of Reasoning from the Scriptures Ministries, is heard regularly on nationwide radio and is the author of The End Times in Chronological Order, The 8 Great Debates of Bible Prophecy, and 40 Days Through Revelation. He periodically teaches at Dallas Theological Seminary and several other seminaries. To understand where our world is headed in Bible prophecy.
