Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States protects a pregnant woman’s liberty to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction. It struck down many U.S. federal and state abortion laws, and prompted an ongoing national debate in the United States about whether and to what extent abortion should be legal, who should decide the legality of abortion, what methods the Supreme Court should use in constitutional adjudication, and what the role of religious and moral views in the political sphere should be.

Roe v. Wade reshaped American politics, dividing much of the United States into abortion rights and anti-abortion movements, while activating grassroots movements on both sides. The decision involved the case of Norma McCorvey—known in her lawsuit under the pseudonym “Jane Roe”—who in 1969 became pregnant with her third child. McCorvey wanted an abortion, but she lived in Texas, where abortion was illegal except when necessary to save the mother’s life. She was referred to lawyers Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee, who filed a lawsuit on her behalf in U.S. federal court against her local district attorney, Henry Wade, alleging that Texas’s abortion laws were unconstitutional.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas heard the case and ruled in her favor. Texas then appealed this ruling directly to the U.S. Supreme Court, which agreed to hear the case. In January 1973, the Supreme Court issued a 7–2 decision ruling that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution provides a “right to privacy” that protects a pregnant woman’s right to choose whether or not to have an abortion. But it also ruled that this right is not absolute, and must be balanced against the government’s interests in protecting women’s health and protecting prenatal life.

THEREBY, IS Anyone else sick of everyone being offended by everything? Especially when they are offended on behalf of someone else when that someone else is not offended…or in some cases more offended…
like they were lamely waiting to righteously tell someone, anyone off,
but they have to wait for any contrived situation to do it. Rolling on the floor laughing

Do we all have to walk around on eggshells nowadays? How is this helping?

Thinking face I AM currently listening to a documentary about the history of
the past decade and it is just depressing how much Britain and Canada have destroyed/removed from their histories… We’re all different, nuanced and have weird outlooks, can’t we just agree to disagree? Ask yourself whether you really want to be the person who is offended by the offended. 1000% sick of it!

How dare you???!!! <sniff>
Reported and blocked!!!! * walks off in a huff
People need to learn to laugh more.

Everyone seems sooo sensitive and touchy, and I become afraid to say anything for fear of being jumped on. It’s crazy. I’m SO offended by other people being offended! People who get offended by everything offends the fuck out of me… WHEN YOU CAN’T SPEAK THE TRUTH ANY LONGER. Face with tears of joy

It’s all the GMO’s they consume. How do GMOs affect your body – Totally had a gut full of it. Sick of worrying about what you write/say in case it offends some bloody snowflake.

Why can’t people be offended and who are we to judge what offends someone else? Here’s an idea…why not put it on the offenders? Don’t be such a dick and be conscious of others and their feelings. Man shrugging

That doesn’t seem so awful. Being offended is the start of a conversation, not the end. If someone is bothered, it’s worthwhile to ask who, and why. But this idea of “I don’t like that idea, so you have to stop saying it.” can just fuck right off.

No one has any balls any more. Yes, especially THE cancel culture. It’s just childish –
Such people need to grow the fuck up! Life is too damn short to go around and be offended by everything!

That’s not living, it’s existing!

“The small counties are mostly found in landlocked areas in the Great Plains, mountains and deserts. It’s not uncommon for these counties to even be losing population over time.” There is also a difference in racial and ethnic diversity. For example, 79 percent of Asians, 71 percent of Hispanics and 59 percent of blacks live in big counties. Small-county America is nearly three-quarters non-Hispanic white, whereas this group makes up less than half of big-county America.

The differences between the two geographies also extend to age. The median age in small-county America is 39.1 compared to 36.9 for big-county America, and 54 percent of people age 65 or older live in small-county America. There is also a notable difference in the rate of growth. “Big-county America is growing nearly twice as fast as small-county America,” Sink said. “They’re not only getting bigger but increasingly more diverse.” Thus, if current trends continue, it’s likely that the divide between big and small will continue to become more pronounced in the future.

Counties in the US refer to regions within a state with their distinct boundaries and some form of official authority. States such as Alaska and Louisiana have county equivalents that have the same level of power as counties. Counties in the US number 3,007 while county equivalents number 135 all totaling to 3,142. The state of Delaware has the least number of counties at three while Texas has 254. Counties have existed in the US since its earliest days with Virginia being the first state to establish counties. The counties were founded to reduce the administrative workload for the state administration.

Popular County Names In The U.S.

Washington County
Named after the first president of the US, Washington County is the most popular county name with 30 counties and one parish sharing the name. In Alabama, Washington County has a population of about 16,531 people and an area of 1,089 square miles. The county was established in 1800 making it one of the oldest counties.
Washington Parish in the state of Louisiana was established in 1819 and covers an area of about 676 square miles. The parish is the only county equivalent in the US to bear the name of George Washington. The first county in the US to be named after George Washington was in the state of Maryland and has an estimated population of about 150,578 people.

Jefferson County
26 counties and one parish are named after the third president of the US Thomas Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson was a prominent figure in the initial
days of the US and the chief writer of the US declaration of independence. In Alabama, Jefferson County with an estimated population of 659,197, has the highest population among all the counties. The county was established in 1819 and covers an area of about 1,119 square miles. Jefferson Parish in the state of Louisiana was established in 1825 and has a population of approximately 436,275. The only county with a higher population in Louisiana is East Baton Rouge Parish.
The county was affected by Hurricane Katrina but has managed to rebuild itself.

Franklin County
Franklin County is the name of 24 counties and one county equivalent.
The name Franklin does not refer to any president, which makes it the more common county name not associated with any president. Franklin Parish in Louisiana was named in honor of the inventor Benjamin Franklin. The parish has an estimated population of about 20,410 people living in an area that covers 635 square miles. In the state of Alabama, Franklin County covers an area of approximately 647 square miles. The largest city in the county is Russellville which is also the administrative center.

In a rising number of U.S. counties, Hispanic and black Americans are the majority. BY KATHERINE SCHAEFFER

Non-Hispanic white Americans account for 60% of the U.S. population, but in a growing number of counties, a majority of residents are Hispanic or black, reflecting the nation’s changing demographics and shifting migration patterns.

In 2018, there were 151 U.S. counties where Hispanics, blacks or two much smaller racial and ethnic groups – American Indians and Alaska Natives – made up a majority of the population, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data. That was an increase from 110 such counties in 2000. The 41 counties that joined the list between 2000 and 2018 are all majority Hispanic or majority black. (For a full list of these counties,
see the sortable table  at the end of the post.)

image.png

Overall, 69 counties were majority Hispanic in 2018, 72 were majority
black and 10 were majority American Indian or Alaska Native.
The majority American Indian or Alaska Native counties are unique in that most have experienced overall population declines since 2000, even as the share of American Indian or Alaska Native residents in these counties remained fairly flat. Counties in OHIO – Bing

There were no U.S. counties where Asians accounted for more than half of the population, but in Honolulu County, Hawaii, the population was 42% Asian and 9% Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.

The South and Southwest of the United States hold most of the counties where Hispanic, black or indigenous people make up a majority of residents. These counties represent just 5% of the 3,142 counties in the U.S. and about half of the country’s 293 majority nonwhite counties (a figure that includes counties where multiple racial and ethnic groups combine to account for a majority).

About this analysis!!!

Rapid growth in majority Hispanic counties…

The number of majority Hispanic counties doubled between 2000 and 2018, from 34 to 69 – mostly in the South and West. In all but four of these 69 counties, the Hispanic share of the population grew during that period.
The few counties that experienced declines saw only slight decreases, and no county that was majority Hispanic in 2000 fell below 50% Hispanic by 2018.
Since 2000, the number of majority Hispanic counties in the U.S. has doubled.
These trends are in line with the growth of the U.S. Hispanic population as a whole, which reached a new high in 2018 even as its rate of growth slowed.
The Latino population grew at a faster rate than most other racial or ethnic groups during the 2000s, due to relatively high birth rates among Hispanic women and  immigration from Latin America.

Related: See Pew Research Center’s U.S. population projections  through 2065, which provides a look at immigration’s impact on population growth and on racial and ethnic change.
In 2018, Texas was home to the 10 counties in the U.S. with the largest shares of Hispanic residents. Starr County, home to about 65,000 people overall, had the largest concentration of Hispanic residents, at 96% of the population. Other counties where Hispanics accounted for an especially large share of residents included Webb (95%), Hidalgo (92%) and Cameron counties (90%) – all in Texas.

Since 2000, number of majority Hispanic counties in the U.S. has doubled.
The Hispanic populations of some larger U.S. counties also grew between 2000 and 2018. San Bernardino County, California (population 2.2 million) was the most populous county to become majority Hispanic during this span. Osceola County, Florida (home to about 370,000) saw the largest percentage point increase in Hispanic residents during this time (26 points, rising from 29% to 55%).

The migrating U.S. black population..
While the black share of the total U.S. population has not changed substantially over the last two decades, the number of majority black counties in the U.S. grew from 65 to 72 between 2000 and 2018. One contributing factor may be migration of black Americans from the North to the South and from cities into suburbs.

Majority black U.S. counties are primarily in the South.
There are now 15 majority black counties that were not majority black in 2000. Among them, Rockdale County, Georgia, located about half an hour outside Atlanta, had the largest percentage point increase in the share of black residents (from 18% in 2000 to 55% in 2018). With about 930,000 residents, Shelby County, Tennessee, which contains Memphis, was the county with the largest population to become majority black.

The 10 counties with the highest shares of black residents in 2018 were in Mississippi (seven counties) Alabama (two) and Virginia (one). In these 10 counties, about 70% or more residents were black.

Meanwhile, eight counties that were majority black in 2000 are no longer. Three of these are large U.S. cities that the Census Bureau includes in its county estimates: Washington, D.C.; Richmond, Virginia; and St. Louis, Missouri.
Washington (home to roughly 702,000 residents in 2018) saw a 19% increase in total population during that period, while its black population decreased by 9%. The city’s share of black residents declined by 15 percentage points, from 60% to 45%.

Majority American Indian or Alaska Native counties.
In 2018, there were eight U.S. counties where more than half of the population was American Indian; two other counties were majority Alaska Native.

In 10 U.S. counties, indigenous people make up more than half of residents.
While majority Hispanic and black counties are growing in number, these predominantly American Indian or Alaska Native counties have experienced net population loss from 2000 to 2018. And one county that was majority American Indian or Alaska Native in 2000 is no longer: San Juan County, Utah, where the share of American Indian residents fell 8% points,
from 55% to 47%.

All 10 majority American Indian counties are located on or near reservation land in the Midwest and the West, and most have populations of fewer than 20,000 people.
The exceptions are McKinley County, New Mexico, and Apache County, Arizona, both of which are home to about 72,000 people.

The two counties where the majority of residents were Alaska Native are both in rural Alaska: Bethel Census Area (population of roughly 18,000) and Nome Census Area (population of about 10,000). Source: Rising number of U.S. counties are majority Hispanic or black | Pew Research Center

In 151 U.S. counties, Hispanic, black or indigenous people are the majority race or ethnicity.

How to Remove a Tick: 26 Questions Answered (Head Removal, Dogs, Embedded).

QUICK TIPS FOR LYME DISEASE!!!!
Image
How to extract a tick head – Shedding Light on the Science of Lyme disease: The doctors who have ruined progress and caused extreme harm to sufferers by denying Public access to Lyme research, millions suffering, yearly documentaries about the disease, and new non-corrupt medical leadership guarantee the acceptance of chronic Lyme and the vilification of leadership is just around the corner. Yet another study demonstrating ‘Post Treatment Lyme’ patients are still infected by borrelia – 100% of them culture confirmed from multiple labs.

How much evidence needs to accumulate before the plain truth is accepted?
Using multiple corroborative detection methods, we showed that patients with persistent Lyme disease symptoms may have ongoing spirochetal infection despite antibiotic treatment, similar to findings…

A study by an international team of researchers has found persistent infection despite antibiotic therapy in patients with ongoing symptoms of Lyme disease.
The study was published in the open access journal Healthcare (Basel).
Lyme disease is a tick-borne infection caused by Borrelia burgdorferi, a type of corkscrew-shaped bacteria known as a spirochete. In 2013 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that Lyme disease is much more common than previously thought, with over 300,000 new cases diagnosed each year in the United States.
That makes Lyme disease six times more common than HIV/AIDS, 20 times more common than hepatitis C virus infection and 30 times more common than tuberculosis in the United States.
“Our findings address a major controversy over persistent symptoms in Lyme disease,” said Marianne Middelveen, lead author of the published study. “The results suggest that infection with the Lyme spirochete may persist in some patients despite supposedly adequate antibiotic therapy.”

The current study was a collaborative effort by an international team of scientists. In addition to Middelveen, a veterinary microbiologist from Canada, researchers included molecular biologists Jennie Burke and Agustin Franco from Australia working with molecular biologists Eva Sapi and Katherine Filush, nurse practitioner Melissa Fesler and internist Raphael Stricker from the United States.
A previous study from Tulane University showed that the Lyme spirochete could survive antibiotic therapy in monkeys. In the present study, researchers used sophisticated techniques to examine culture samples from twelve human patients who had positive antibody tests for Lyme disease and persistent symptoms despite prior or current antibiotic treatment.

All twelve patients had positive cultures for Borrelia burgdorferi, even if they were currently taking antibiotics. In contrast, asymptomatic control subjects with negative Lyme antibody tests had no evidence of the Lyme spirochete in their culture samples.
“The presence of live spirochetes in symptomatic patients supports the role of ongoing infection in these patients,” said Dr. Peter Mayne, who previously published the first comprehensive study of Lyme disease in Australia. “We need to do more research to determine how this elusive organism survives antibiotic therapy in patients who do not get better.”
Dr. Stricker pointed to the implications for Lyme disease treatment raised by the study. “This study is bad news for Lyme disease patients and their doctors,” he said. “We need to develop better antimicrobial treatments for these suffering patients, and we need to do it now.”

INTRODUCTION:
Lyme disease is a tick borne illness that generates controversy among medical providers and researchers. One of the key topics of debate is the existence of persistent infection with the Lyme spirochete, Borrelia burgdorferi, in patients who have been treated with recommended doses of antibiotics yet remain symptomatic. Persistent spirochetal infection despite antibiotic therapy has recently been demonstrated in non-human primates. We present evidence of persistent Borrelia infection despite antibiotic therapy in patients with ongoing Lyme disease symptoms.

METHODS:
In this pilot study, culture of body fluids and tissues was performed in a randomly selected group of 12 patients with persistent Lyme disease symptoms who had been treated or who were being treated with antibiotics. Cultures were also performed on a group of ten control subjects without Lyme disease. The cultures were subjected to corroborative microscopic, histopathological and molecular testing for Borrelia organisms in four independent laboratories in a blinded manner.

RESULTS:
Motile spirochetes identified histopathologically as Borrelia were detected in culture specimens, and these spirochetes were genetically identified as Borrelia burgdorferi by three distinct polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based approach. Spirochetes identified as Borrelia burgdorferi were cultured from the blood of seven subjects, from the genital secretions of ten subjects, and from a skin lesion of one subject. Cultures from control subjects without Lyme disease were negative for Borrelia using these methods.

CONCLUSIONS:
Using multiple corroborative detection methods, we showed that patients with persistent Lyme disease symptoms may have ongoing spirochetal infection despite antibiotic treatment, similar to findings in non-human primates. The optimal treatment for persistent Borrelia infection remains to be determined.

The Zapruder film

One frame of the Zapruder film has long been considered too graphic for public view.
By Ron Rosenbaum

SMITHSONIAN MAGAZINE

John F. Kennedy
35th President of the United States
Wikipedia

Lived: May 29, 1917 – Nov 22, 1963 (age 46)
It’s been called the most important 29 seconds of film in history: The 486 frames of 8-millimeter Bell + Howell home movie footage shot in the midday sun of Dallas on November 22, 1963, by a dressmaker named Abraham Zapruder. Twenty-six seconds that included a historic, horrific, all-too-clear vision of a presidential assassination.

Most people vaguely know about the Zapruder film,  but it will soon become omnipresent as the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy approaches. What is not well known, however, is that a single frame of it was kept largely secret from public view for 12 years after the assassination.
Frame 313 of Zapruder Film (Famous Photograph) (lalitkumar.in) The frame that gave Abraham Zapruder nightmares, the frame he insisted be withheld from the public—a single frame of film that can be said to have changed American history and culture.
“We like to feel that the world is safe,” Errol Morris tells me. “Safe at least in the sense that we can know about it. The Kennedy assassination is very much an essay on the unsafety of the world. If a man that powerful, that young, that rich, that successful, can just be wiped off the face of the earth in an instant, what does it say about the rest of us?”

That instant is one we can all now watch on YouTube. In fact, there is a compilation that includes 5 versions of the Zapruder film—slow-motion, zoomed-in, close-ups. Once you’ve seen the unspeakable act it captures, Morris says, your sense of stability and safety, your sense of the rationality of the world, has been forever lost. It’s “endlessly haunting and disturbing,” he says.
I wanted to talk to Morris about the Zapruder film because as a documentary filmmaker he’s focused on mysteries (he freed an innocent man from death row with The Thin Blue Line); he’s re-examined secret history (he won an Oscar for cross-examining the enigmatic Robert McNamara in The Fog of War). As a writer, he’s questioned the way that photographic images can document the nature of truth (in his recent book Believing Is Seeing).

In addition to all this, two years ago Morris made a six-minute documentary about the Zapruder film for the New York Times, focusing on one shadowy figure in it: the so-called “Umbrella Man.” And then, in the recurrent irony of conspiracy theory pathology, Morris himself became the subject of JFK conspiracy coverup fantasy.
So one recent morning over breakfast in the dining room of the hotel in New York’s SoHo where Morris was staying, I sat down in front of his computer to watch the Zapruder film with him.
***
The Zapruder film, silent but in color, shows a motorcade led by two open-top limousines proceeding at a stately pace through a street lined with people. We see the black Lincoln Continental with JFK and his wife, Jackie, in a pink skirt-and-jacket suit. We see them all waving to onlookers as the motorcade heads for what was known locally as “the triple underpass,” an aptly metaphoric name for the tangle we will soon enter.
As the motorcade approaches, we see JFK’s car emerge from behind a sign that had been temporarily blocking the view. Suddenly, we see JFK clutch his throat. Jackie leans over to attend to him. An instant later, in Frame 313, it looks like a lightning bolt strikes JFK’s head. We see it blown up and thrown back. Jackie frantically crawls over the rear seat of the open car and climbs onto its rear deck grasping at something that has been described as a piece of her husband’s shattered skull. Frame 313 is the forensic peak of the Zapruder film, – images this sight is the almost-unbearable emotional heart of it.

Rewind to Frame 313: The visceral impression that the blast came from in front of JFK and blew his head backward is powerful. There have been arguments that this is a kind of optical illusion—the most convincing to me being that JFK had been hit from behind after the previous frame, 312, slamming his chin forward to his chest, and his head was rebounding backward in Frame 313.
And it would be so much easier to dismiss the impression of a frontal shot as an illusion, because otherwise you’d have to doubt the conclusion of the Warren Commission that Lee Harvey Oswald, who was positioned behind the president, was the lone gunman.
But it would be a dozen years before most of the world would see Frame 313.
The odyssey of that small rectangle of sprocket-pocked celluloid is fascinating. Knowing that his home movie would have both historic and forensic value, Abraham Zapruder had three copies of his original film made for government investigators. He sold the rights to the original to Life magazine for a reported $150,000. Zapruder made clear Frame 313 gave him nightmares and he didn’t want to be the one to inflict them on the rest of America.

Ultimately Life decided to withhold Frame 313. – Bing images
Nevertheless, bootleg copies circulated, helping to generate the first wave of assassination conspiracy theories and Warren Commission critics. Still, it was not until 1975 that Geraldo—yes, that Geraldo, Geraldo Rivera got hold of a copy of the uncut Zapruder film and played it for a national audience on his show, “Good Night America.” Which resulted in a kind of collective national gasp as millions of Americans simultaneously saw something that they had previously only read about.
The Zapruder shock and other doubts raised about the underside of recent American history such as Watergate helped impel the creation in 1976 of the Senate’s Church Committee (named after Sen. Frank Church of Idaho). It turned over the rock that was the CIA at the time, and discovered, among other scandals wriggling underneath, the CIA/Mafia assassination plots against Cuban President Fidel Castro, some of them fostered during the Kennedy administration—plots that would provide possible assassination motives for Castro, for anti-Castro forces, for the CIA, for the Mafia, or some unholy alliance of more than one of these.

Indeed the committee ultimately determined that both the CIA and the FBI had withheld material information about these matters from the Warren Commission.
The Church Committee then begat the only full-scale official government reinvestigation of the Kennedy assassination, the three-year effort (1976-79) by the House Select Committee on Assassinations (which also considered the Martin Luther King Jr. case). What’s forgotten by many is the HSCA’s conclusion: that JFK was killed by a conspiracy. However, this finding was reached based on the last-minute introduction of “acoustic evidence,” a Dictabelt recording made by a motorcycle cop walkie-talkie purportedly positioned so that it seemed to have picked up a fourth shot (and thus a second assassin) fired from the direction of “the grassy knoll” in front of the president. A shot that might be the one we see hit the president in Frame 313.

The Justice Department subsequently asked the National Academy of Sciences to re-examine the Dictabelt evidence and it concluded it was not dispositive, which naturally led to years of debate among forensic acoustic experts. Later tests also put the motorcycle’s positioning in doubt, further undermining the linchpin of the HSCA’s conspiracy conclusion. Back to square one.
The next seismic event in the Zapruder film’s odyssey came in the slam-bang conclusion of Oliver Stone’s conspiracy-theory film JFK,JFK.1991 (ok.ru) full movie; a reverential account of New Orleans DA Jim Garrison’s real-world fiasco of an investigation, which climaxed with Garrison, played by Kevin Costner, dramatically showing the jury the Zapruder film, complete with Frame 313.

Again the renewed shock of watching it (rather than Stone’s far-fetched military-industrial-complex conspiracy theory) had its effect: Public reaction pushed Congress to pass the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992, which ordered that the declassification of literally millions of assassination documents be expedited. It’s a process that is still going on, monitored by former Washington Post reporter Jefferson Morley on his website JFKfacts.org.
Which brings us up to today. After half a century, the latest Gallup poll shows that 59 percent of the American public believes there was a conspiracy in the assassination, despite the best efforts of reporters such as Gerald Posner (Case Closed) and former prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi (Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy), who have written long, painstaking books meant to be definitive defenses of the “lone assassin” case.
Tom Hanks also produced another cinematic version of the assassination, a movie called Parkland (after the Dallas hospital), with Paul Giamatti playing our man Abraham Zapruder.  Parkland 2013 ♥ Movies 2016 Full Movie English-Scary Thriller Movies 2016 Hollywood – Free Movies HD

Meanwhile conspiracy theory books continue to pour out, some even claiming the Zapruder film itself was falsified somehow. As Errol Morris puts it, quoting someone he identifies with typical obscure erudition as “the last living inhabitant of the utopian community of Zoar in Ohio” who said on her deathbed, “Think about it, All those religions. They can’t all be right. But they can all be wrong.”
***
Which brings us back to the dining room of Errol Morris’ hotel and the six-minute film he made about the “Umbrella Man” in the Zapruder film. He was not, he emphasizes, trying to solve the JFK assassination or take on any of its larger questions—he just wanted to nail down one little “factoid,” which had metastasized into a full-blown conspiracy theory of its own, complete with secret KGB-type weaponized rain gear.
Umbrella Man consists of Morris talking with – Josiah “Tink” Thompson –  one of the first and most respected of Warren Commission critics. Thompson has had an extraordinary, colorful career. I met him when he was my freshman philosophy professor at Yale and he was working on The Lonely Labyrinth, his landmark analysis of the gloomy Danish anti-rationalist philosopher Soren Kierkegaard. But after the release of the Warren Commission report, Thompson turned his incisive intellect to the question of ballistics and its relation to the Zapruder film.

“The Zapruder film serves as a clock,” Morris points out. One can measure the time it took for the three assassination shots (one missed) to be fired—which the Warren Commission concluded was slightly under six seconds—and then calculate how long a single shooter would take to shoot, reload, re-sight, shoot again, reload, re-sight and shoot again. Thompson concluded that Oswald wouldn’t have had the time to get off all three shots himself and—after working with Life’s copy of the Zapruder film—he published his findings in (1) Six Seconds in Dallas one of the first strictly forensic books critical of the Warren Commission, a book even Bugliosi speaks respectfully of, though he disagrees with it.
Morris recalled for me the dramatic moment in the course of the nearly seven hours he spent interviewing Thompson on camera when the former professor handed him a Mannlicher Carcano rifle – JFK  identical to the one Oswald was alleged to have used, and demonstrated the slow and complicated process of reloading and re-sighting that Oswald would have had to have undertaken to get off three shots in six seconds.
Thompson eventually became so intrigued by unsolved mysteries that he left a comfy job in academia behind to become a private eye (his memoir is called   Gumshoe: Reflections in a Private Eye)   He has spent the last 37 years working, often successfully, for defense lawyers in tough cases. Gumshoe! “So here is Tink,” Morris says, taking us back to Thompson’s Life magazine days, “hunkered down over the Zapruder film looking at it frame by frame by frame. And he notices there is a man, a bystander among the crowds waiting for the Kennedy motorcade—and he’s holding an umbrella. And indeed he looks really out of place.”
“Because the sun is shining.”
“The sun is shining. As I say to Tink, in my film, ‘it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood,’” Morris says in a wry Mister Rogers imitation.
“And the Umbrella Man became an icon of conspiracy theorists?” I ask. “They believe that when he raised the umbrella it was a signal for the assassins?”
“As in all of these theories, there are multiple versions, there are variants. There’s the version where the umbrella was a signal to the co-conspirators. There’s another version where the Umbrella Man himself is one of the assassins…with the umbrella.”

“A weaponized umbrella?”
“A covert weapon capable of firing—I’m not sure where this word came from but Tink uses it—a fléchette. I don’t even know what a fléchette is.”
“Well, you know, there was a famous assassination in London where a Bulgarian dissident, Georgi Markov, was supposedly assassinated by the KGB with a poison fléchette triggered by…” I was going to say “by an umbrella” when Morris interrupted impatiently.
“What is a fléchette?”
“It’s like a little metal stabbing thing that can be fired, without a gunshot sound, can lodge itself in the flesh and be fatal.”
In Morris’ film, Thompson discloses something I hadn’t known: that the Umbrella Man had eventually come forward and explained himself. “The Umbrella Man himself showed up to give testimony to the House assassinations committee,” Morris says.
And he reproduced a clip of his appearance before the committee in his Umbrella Man film. His name was Louie Steven Witt and he testified that he brought the umbrella on that sunny day because—wait for it—he wanted to express his displeasure with JFK’s father, Joseph Kennedy.

“Who,” Morris says, “had been ambassador to England in the 1930s and [was] known for his policies of appeasement to the Third Reich.” “Symbolized,” I say, “by the umbrella that Neville Chamberlain carried back from Munich, after Chamberlain claimed to have brought ‘peace for our time’ by letting Hitler swallow up half of Czechoslovakia, giving Hitler the impetus to launch World War II.
The umbrella became the symbol of appeasement in 1938 and here in 1963, this guy carries an umbrella and thinks, ‘Whoa, people are really going to be blown away, this is really going to make a statement!’ And it turns out he becomes a symbol himself. It’s almost like history is a kind of snake swallowing its tail.”
“Part of the problem of rationality and irrationality—and it really is a problem—is how do you separate the two? Where is that line of demarcation between nutso thinking and good thinking?”

Which brings us to the double irony: Morris and Thompson’s attempt to nail down this one tiny factoid ended up getting them linked to the coverup by a conspiracy theorist.
“A filmmaker, Alex Cox, the director of Sid & Nancy, among other movies, just put a reply to my Umbrella Man film on the web,”  The Umbrella Man – Bing video
Morris says. “Criticizing me for dismissing the Umbrella Man as a crackpot [theory].”
“So Cox believes the Umbrella Man had a role in the assassination?”
“He seemingly believes that,” Morris says.

I watched the seven-minute Alex Cox video on YouTube. Looking a bit disheveled, like an aging pedant, shuffling around a cluttered office, Cox shows that an umbrella could have been used as a weapon by using an elaborate schematic diagram of a weaponized umbrella, complete with fléchettes. And then Cox goes further: He suggests that the man who testified to the House Select Committee on Assassinations was “up to something,” perhaps sent to deceive the committee. He offers no other proof, but just by stating his deception theory Cox seems confident he’s scored an impressive point. He offers no evidence that a weaponized umbrella was fired that day or that a poison fléchette was found in JFK’s flesh.
But somehow he makes Morris and Thompson accomplices, witting or not, in the coverup of the Umbrella Man’s murderous duplicity in Dallas that day. In trying to understand conspiracy theorists, I used to think that what conspiracy theorists were really doing on some level was grieving, their fantasies a form of displaced love for JFK, but I’ve come to think the love involved is mostly self-love, their self-congratulatory assertion of superiority over mere facts. By the way, yes, I do believe there were some real conspiracies in history—Julius Caesar’s assassination for instance—I just think they need to be proven, fact by fact, not by fantasy and supposition.
I ask Morris about my theory of grief underlying the obsession with the assassination—that we underestimate the shock of it. “I would agree with that,” replies Morris. “I mean why am I so obsessed with…” He pauses. “You know, I’ll never really know what killed my brother and my father, who both died at a very, very early age. But there’s a mystery about death….”
I was stunned.

“What did they die from?”
“I believe in massive heart attacks. One at the age of 40, the other at the age of 43.” (Morris is now 65.) “And coming up with a conspiracy theory to explain the assassination is at least a way of regaining some control over the world?”
“Conspiracy theories often provide solace,” he says. “They provide a level of comfort that makes sense of a world that seems otherwise beyond our ken, our control.”
“In my book about Hitler,” I recall, “I wrote that the inexplicability of horror is equaled by the horror of inexplicability.”
“Conspiracies tell you that there’s a kind of easy way to grasp the idea of evil. It’s those bad guys rubbing their hands together…”

“Twirling their mustaches.”
“Twirling their mustaches, calculating panic, conniving. It gives us a picture of evil that is manageable. Even if we don’t know whether it’s Castro, the KGB, the CIA or a host of other possibilities, we know there’s some kind of deep malefaction at work.”
“While the lone assassin suggests that almost anyone you pass by on the sidewalk could be a ticking time bomb.”
***
Finally, we watched it. Or, I should say, them. First the original version of the Zapruder film and then, in the words of the YouTube voice-over, “a replay of the standard format version in slow-motion.” Next, a version in which “the images between the sprocket holes can only be seen on the original film.” And then another version, “a replay with the images between the sprocket holes, this time in slow-motion.”
“It’s a much, so much more innocent time than ours,” Morris says. “The president in an open motorcade….”
Each time we get to Frame 313, I groan. The shock never wears off. “I don’t know,” I say, “It sure looks like a shot from the front.”
The voice-over continues relentlessly: “This version tracks the limousine and maintains President Kennedy at center frame. This version is only in slow-motion.”
“So we know he’s been hit,” Morris says. “And we know that he was hit in such a way that matter was ejected from the back of his head.”
“So it seems,” I start to say when the voice-over cuts in with the final version:
“This version zooms in on the image as much as possible without causing deterioration. President Kennedy is kept in center frame. This is only in slow-motion.”
It is the ultimate version of the Zapruder film, or at least of Frame 313, and it is agonizing.
“These images are the legacy of one man,” the voice-over concludes as a full-screen photo appears of a dignified balding figure in a dark suit: Abraham Zapruder. “A man who never met John Kennedy but whose name, Zapruder, is inextricably linked to Kennedy’s and to Kennedy’s death. Abraham Zapruder, an unassuming man with an ordinary camera.”
Thinking about the silly Umbrella Man theory, I exclaim, “He did it!” A weaponized camera.

Of course. The perfect crime.
“What photography does,” Morris says, as the screen fades to black, “is call our attention to the problem of knowledge, to the problem of epistemology, about how we know about the world. It would be nice if we could just look at the Zapruder film and say, ‘Aha!’
“Frame 313,” he says now, “will always be at the center of the Zapruder film. So significant, so powerful, so disturbing that for years Zapruder himself did not want it to be shown. Zapruder by all accounts was haunted by Frame 313. There’s an interview with him where he talks about his love of amateur photography, how he took pictures of everything. But after that day in Dallas, he could no longer pick up that camera. By denying that image, Frame 313, I think he was trying to protect himself, protect America.”
“Protect a certain stable view of the world? It’s almost as if the brain exploding is like what it does metaphorically to our mind-set, our worldview.”
“It goes to a kind of simpler version of America,” Morris says. “It truly was the end of the ’50s. The end of a certain kind of innocence that we bought into. World War II seemed to provide a notion of good and evil that we could all embrace. We could build a postwar future on that edifice. And this threw everything up for grabs. It’s incredibly sad, still, looking at it today. And it has produced this epi-stemic war of people battling for reality through these images—trying to wrest control back from chaos.”
Morris prefers to think of it in terms of the philosophical issues about the possibility, or impossibility, of knowledge, the issues raised by Tink Thompson in his book about Kierkegaard, The Lonely Labyrinth.

“My favorite quote in my favorite movie review,” he says, “appeared in a 1941 review of Citizen Kane by [the great Argentine fabulist Jorge Luis] Borges and it contained Borges quoting, as he often did, [British writer G.K.] Chesterton, who said there is nothing more frightening than a labyrinth with no center. The loneliest of all labyrinths. The labyrinth to nowhere. Where there is no Minotaur at the center, there’s just winding corridors, more twists and more turns.”
The implication is that all is uncertainty, that we’ll never know who killed Kennedy or why to any degree of certainty. Is it something specific to the JFK case or is it true more generally about knowability? Morris’ new film, after all, about Donald Rumsfeld—famous for his line about “unknown unknowns”—is called The Unknown Known.

“Can we even have the certainty that all is uncertainty?” I ask.
“Here’s my problem,” Morris replies. “My article of faith is that there’s a real world out there in which things happen. The real world is not indeterminate. I don’t want to hear people misinterpreting the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Something happened. The problem is not about the nature of reality. We know somebody killed Kennedy and there’s an answer to the question of who and why.
“Another thing we know is that we may never learn. And we can never know that we can never learn it. We can never know that we can’t know something.
This is the detective’s nightmare. It’s the ultimate detective’s nightmare.”

Living With the Stars

How 40,000 Tons of Cosmic Dust Falling to Earth
Affects You and Me!!!

Our bodies are made of remnants of stars and massive explosions in the galaxies, authors say.  By Simon Worrall

 (1) Living with the Stars    Atoms in our body are made in STARS! ️⭐️ We are Stardust!

Astrophysics and medical pathology don’t, at first sight, appear to have much in common.    What do sunspots have to do with liver spots?

How does the big bang connect with cystic fibrosis?   Our bodies are made of remnants of stars!!!

Astrophysicist Karel Schrijver, a senior fellow at the Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory, and his wife, Iris Schrijver, professor of pathology at Stanford University, have joined the dots in a new book, Living With the Stars: How the Human Body Is Connected to the Life Cycles of the Earth, the Planets, and the Stars.

Our Earth Is A Remnant Core Of A Dead Star – Scientist G.Ponmudi – YouTube

Talking from their home in Palo Alto, California, they explain how everything in us originated in cosmic explosions billions of years ago, how our bodies are in a constant state of decay and regeneration, and why singer Joni Mitchell was right. Joni Mitchell (Crosby, Stills, Nash) – Get Together (Live 1969)

“We are stardust,” Joni Mitchell famously sang in Woodstock (1969 Live)

It turns out she was right, wasn’t she?

Iris: Was she ever! Everything we are and everything in the universe and on Earth originated from stardust, and it continually floats through us even today. It directly connects us to the universe, rebuilding our bodies over and again over our lifetimes.

That was one of the biggest surprises for us in this book. We really didn’t realize how impermanent we are, and that our bodies are made of remnants of stars and massive explosions in the galaxies. All the material in our bodies originates with that residual stardust, and it finds its way into plants, and from there into the nutrients that we need for everything we do—think, move, grow. And every few years the bulk of our bodies are newly created.

Can you give me some examples of how stardust formed us?

Karel: When the universe started, there was just hydrogen and a little helium and very little of anything else. Helium is not in our bodies. Hydrogen is, but that’s not the bulk of our weight. Stars are like nuclear reactors. They take fuel and convert it to something else. Hydrogen is formed into helium, and helium is built into carbon, nitrogen and oxygen, iron and sulfur—everything we’re made of. When stars get to the end of their lives, they swell up and fall together again, throwing off their outer layers. If a star is heavy enough, it will explode in a supernova.

So most of the material that we’re made of comes out of dying stars, or stars that died in explosions. And those stellar explosions continue. We have stuff in us as old as the universe, and then some stuff that landed here maybe only a hundred years ago. And all of that mixes in our bodies.

Iris: I’m a physician specializing in genetics and pathology. Pathologists are the medical specialists who diagnose diseases and their causes. We also study the responses of the body to such diseases and to the treatment given. I do this at the level of the DNA, so at Stanford University I direct the diagnostic molecular pathology laboratory. I also provide patient care by diagnosing inherited diseases and also cancers, and by following therapy responses in those cancer patients based on changes that we can detect in their DNA.

BOOK JACKET COURTESY OF SCHRIJVER+SCHRIJVER

Our book is based on many conversations that Karel and I had, in which we talked to each other about topics from our daily professional lives. Those areas are quite different. I look at the code of life. He’s an astrophysicist who explores the secrets of the stars. But the more we followed up on our questions to each other, the more we discovered our fields have a lot more connections than we thought possible.

Karel: I’m an astrophysicist. Astrophysicists specialize in all sorts of things, from dark matter to galaxies. I picked stars because they fascinated me. But no matter how many stars you look at, you can never see any detail. They’re all tiny points in the sky.

So I turned my attention to the sun, which is the only star where we can see what happens all over the universe. At some point NASA asked me to lead a summer school for beginning researchers to try to create materials to understand the things that go all the way from the sun to the Earth. I learned so many things about these connections I started to tell Iris. At some point I thought: This could be an interesting story, and it dawned on us that together we go all the way, as she said, from the smallest to the largest. And we have great fun doing this together.

We tend to think of our bodies changing only slowly once we reach adulthood. So I was fascinated to discover that, in fact, we’re changing all the time and constantly rebuilding ourselves. Talk about our skin.

Iris: Most people don’t even think of the skin as an organ. In fact, it’s our largest one. To keep alive, our cells have to divide and grow. We’re aware of that because we see children grow. But cells also age and eventually die, and the skin is a great example of this.

It’s something that touches everything around us. It’s also very exposed to damage and needs to constantly regenerate. It weighs around eight pounds [four kilograms] and is composed of several layers. These layers age quickly, especially the outer layer, the dermis. The cells there are replaced roughly every month or two. That means we lose approximately 30,000 cells every minute throughout our lives, and our entire external surface layer is replaced about once a year.

Very little of our physical bodies lasts for more than a few years.

Of course, that’s at odds with how we perceive ourselves when we look into the mirror. But we’re not fixed at all. We’re more like a pattern or a process. And it was the transience of the body and the flow of energy and matter needed to counter that impermanence that led us to explore our interconnectedness with the universe.

You have a fascinating discussion about age. Describe how different parts of the human body age at different speeds.

Iris: Every tissue recreates itself, but they all do it at a different rate. We know through carbon dating that cells in the adult human body have an average age of seven to ten years. That’s far less than the age of the average human, but there are remarkable differences in these ages. Some cells literally exist for a few days. Those are the ones that touch the surface. The skin is a great example, but also the surfaces of our lungs and the digestive tract. The muscle cells of the heart, an organ we consider to be very permanent, typically continue to function for more than a decade. But if you look at a person who’s 50, about half of their heart cells will have been replaced.

Our bodies are never static. We’re dynamic beings, and we have to be dynamic to remain alive. This is not just true for us humans. It’s true for all living things.

A figure that jumped out at me is that 40,000 tons of cosmic dust fall on Earth every year. Where does it all come from? How does it affect us?

Karel: When the solar system formed, it started to freeze gas into ice and dust particles. They would grow and grow by colliding. Eventually gravity pulled them together to form planets. The planets are like big vacuum cleaners, sucking in everything around them. But they didn’t complete the job. There’s still an awful lot of dust floating around.

When we say that as an astronomer, we can mean anything from objects weighing micrograms, which you wouldn’t even see unless you had a microscope, to things that weigh many tons, like comets. All that stuff is still there, being pulled around by the gravity of the planets and the sun. The Earth can’t avoid running into this debris, so that dust falls onto the Earth all the time and has from the very beginning. It’s why the planet was made in the first place. Nowadays, you don’t even notice it. But eventually all that stuff, which contains oxygen and carbon, iron, nickel, and all the other elements, finds its way into our bodies.

When a really big piece of dust, like a giant comet or asteroid, falls onto the Earth, you get a massive explosion, which is one of the reasons we believe the dinosaurs became extinct some 70 million years ago. That fortunately doesn’t happen very often. But things fall out of the sky all the time. [Laughs]

Many everyday commodities we use also began their existence in outer space. Tell us about salt.

Karel: Whatever you mention, its history began in outer space. Take salt. What we usually mean by salt is kitchen salt. It has two chemicals, sodium and chloride. Where did they come from? They were formed inside stars that exploded billions of years ago and at some point found their way onto the Earth. Stellar explosions are still going on today in the galaxy, so some of the chlorine we’re eating in salt was made only recently.

You study pathology, Iris. Is physical malfunction part of the cosmic order?

Iris: Absolutely. There are healthy processes, such as growth, for which we need cell division. Then there are processes when things go wrong. We age because we lose the balance between regeneration and cell loss.

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited genetic disease. You inherit an error in the DNA. Because of that, certain tissues do not have the capability to provide their normal function to the body. My work is focused on finding changes in DNA in different populations so we can understand better what kinds of mutations are the basis of that disease. Based on that, we can provide a prognosis. There are now drugs that target specific mutations, as well as transplants, so these patients can have a much better life span than was possible 10 or 20 years ago.

How has writing this book changed your view of life—and your view of each other?

Karel: There are two things that struck me, one that I had no idea about. The first is what Iris described earlier—the impermanence of our bodies. As a physicist, I thought the body was built early on, that it would grow and be stable. Iris showed me, over a long series of dinner discussions, that that’s not the way it works. Cells die and rebuild all the time. We’re literally not what were a few years ago, and not just because of the way we think. Everything around us does this. Nature is not outside us. We are nature.

As far as our relationship is concerned, I always had a great deal of respect for Iris, and physicians in general. They have to know things that I couldn’t possibly remember. And that’s only grown with time.

Iris: Physics was not my favorite topic in high school. [Laughs] Through Karel and our conversations, I feel that the universe and the world around us has become much more accessible. That was our goal with the book as well. We wanted it to be accessible and understandable for anyone with a high school education. It was a challenge to write it that way, to explain things to each other in lay terms. But it has certainly changed my view of life. It’s increased my sense of wonder and appreciation of life.

In terms of Karel’s profession and our relationship, it has inevitably deepened. We understand much better what the other person is doing in the sandboxes we respectively play in. [Laughs]    source  | IT (internationaltimes.it)   hUMAN bODY iNGREDIENTS  (12) Pinterest

When matter is dragged into a black hole, where does it go or what happens to it?

Asked by: Daniel Febrer, age 12

If light gets suck into a black hole where does it go?

Answer

Right back in the time of Isaac Newton (1687) it was determined that the force of gravity was due to the presence of matter, specifically its mass. In fact the existence of black holes was postulated not long after Newton’s publication of his ‘Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica’ (Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy). It wasn’t until 1915, when Albert Einstein published his theory of General Relativity E=mc² that the theory of black holes really took off.

The first real study into the phenomenon was undertaken by Karl Schwarzchild in 1916 who derived an equation for the Schwarzschild Radius of a black hole (Rs = GM / c^2, where Rs is the Schwarzchild radius, G is Newton’s gravitational constant, M is the mass of the blackhole and c the speed of light).E = mc2, equation in German-born physicist  Albert Einstein ’s theory of special relativity that expresses the fact that mass and energy are the same physical entity and can be changed into each other.  e = mc²

Mass–energy Equivalence

Mass–energy Equivalence

In physics, mass–energy equivalence is the relationship between mass and energy in a system’s rest frame, where the two values differ only by a constant and the units of measurement. The formula defines the energy E of a particle in its rest frame as the product of mass (m) with the speed of light squared (c²).

Because the speed of light is a large number in everyday units (approximately 3×10⁸ meters per second), the formula implies that a small amount of rest mass corresponds to an enormous amount of energy, which is independent of the composition of the matter.

Rest mass, also called invariant mass, is the mass that is measured when the system is at rest. It is a fundamental physical property that is independent of momentum, even at extreme speeds approaching the speed of light (i.e., its value is the same in all inertial frames of reference). Massless particles such as photons have zero invariant mass, but massless free particles have both momentum and energy.

The equivalence principle implies that when energy is lost in chemical reactions, nuclear reactions & other energy transformations, the system will also lose a corresponding amount of mass. The energy, and mass, can be released to the environment as radiant energy, such as light, or as thermal energy. The principle is fundamental to many fields of physics, including nuclear and particle physics.

To form a black hole matter collapses under its own gravitational field, such as in the death of a large star. If the matter in question is massive enough then its gravitational attraction will be so great that it will overcome all of the other forces trying to resist the collapse and the matter will continue to shrink until it becomes no more than a point, known as a singularity.

This point will have an infinite density and will be infinitely small. The effect on space time will be such that it is distorted to the point where light can no longer escape from the black hole, hence the name black. At singularities the known laws of physics break down which is why so much time and effort is spent examining these strange features of our universe.

The Schwarzchild radius describes a property of black holes known as the event horizon. This is the point between space where light can escape from the black hole’s gravitational field and the space where it cannot. Although the singularity inside the black hole is infinitely small the black hole would appear to be the size of its event horizon, and to all effects is.

When matter falls into the event horizon it becomes isolated from the rest of space and time and has, effectively, disappeared from the universe that we exist in. Once inside the black hole the matter will be torn apart into its smallest subatomic components which will be stretched and squeezed until they become part of the singularity and increase the radius of the black hole accordingly.

Interestingly enough it has now been shown, by one Stephen Hawking, that the matter inside a black hole is not completely isolated from the rest of the  universe and that given a sufficient length of time black holes will gradually dissolve by radiating away the energy of the matter that they contain.    Answered by: Edward Rayne, Physics Undergraduate Student, Cambridge UK

Elon Musk’s plan of going to Mars – is just one of his Marijuana Pipe Dreams. https://t.co/WX4VuVJXZk” / Twitter He knows or should know that effects of long term effects in space on the human body for a trip to Mars would last for between 210 and 300 days (7-10 months) depending on how close Earth is to Mars. That would be the least of the problems with getting to Mars.

Getting back to earth in the physical state their bodies would be in, they’d never make it. All that is still a fantasy unless he can shield them from the radiation in space which would require heavy shielding on the ship adding to the problem of fuel. This is not a space probe it is a ship built to transport and house people and equipment. It would be Big. Could he build it? Possibly.

But I seriously doubt the 34 million mile journey will ever happen.

Can The Body Heal Itself?
(Yes it Can & Here’s How to Help!)

A body posing in a Black RoomDid you know your physical body can heal itself on its own? Your own body’s ability to heal itself will certainly surprise you! Everyone that has ever learned about the Placebo effect, knows that the human body has the incredible capacity to heal itself. Under most circumstances, self-healing occurs daily when it comes to fighting off illnesses and infections.
However, this isn’t always the case. Sometimes we lack certain elements from our diet or our environment that could be a much greater influence on our body’s ability to heal itself. There are several things we can do to help our body’s healing process.

How does the body heal itself from injury & illness?

A hand lights a Stick of Sage on FireThe cells found in our physical bodies can heal themselves when they start getting damaged or unhealthy. They replicate to become new cells once they replace the damaged or destroyed cells. Using broken bones as an example, your body will immediately begin to produce new cells to heal all the damage that’s been done.
When your skin is cut, platelets in your blood clot to stop all the bleeding by forming a scab over the wound. White blood cells remove all the dead and injured cells while the healthy new cells repair the damaged tissue around the wound. This is one of the most important functions in our body! Could you imagine what life would be like if the daily cuts and bruises we experience never healed? Our bodies are always in a constant state of removing damaged cells and producing new, healthy tissue.

How does the human body healing process work?

A hand Gently Touches WaterAs your body engages in wound healing, a wonderful process occurs throughout each of the systems that comprise your body. According to a study published in the World Journal of Surgery, there are six wound healing stages, each of which relies on one another to completely close a wound. Knowing what each step involves is crucial in developing a comprehensive healing plan.

1. Rapid Hemostasis
This refers to the body process that stops a wound from bleeding. Most of the time, your body will accomplish this through a process called vasoconstriction, in which your blood vessels are closed tight. It’s similar to how you might turn a level to stop a leaky faucet.

2. Inflammation
Inflammation is your body’s way of alerting you of an injury. Beyond that, it helps dictate where the next barrage of healthy cells should be headed. As such, inflammation is vital in the wound care process, but if it goes on for too long, it can prevent regeneration.

3. Proliferation and migration
When inflammation occurs, the body releases several kinds of cells, including those that
are responsible for migration and proliferation. The former function refers to the movement of the cells, a carefully coordinated process that involves cells moving in a specific order. Meanwhile, proliferation is similar to hemostasis, as cells work to further constrict your blood vessels. When Butyric acid (BA) levels are low risk of cancer is high!!!

4. Angiogenesis
Once the bleeding is under control, the body then begins the process of rebuilding tissue. Angiogenesis, as it’s called, involves the formation of new blood vessels. This process occurs when your body’s cells begin to replace the veins and arteries that were damaged, either creating new sections or adding onto existing portions. It’s a decidedly complex endeavor, with many chemicals activating to facilitate these all-new veins.

5. Re-epithelialization
Once your body has begun to regrow veins, it’s time to begin regrooving damaged skin. Your epidermis is comprised of cells called keratinocytes, and during the epithelialization process, your body has to begin forging these chemical components. The process involves the creation of several layers, each working in tandem to offer protection and prevent fluid loss.

6. Collagen Synthesis
Though it’s seen as the last step, synthesis often happens almost simultaneously. In this process, certain proteins form blood clots, which helps further prevent bleeding as new skin and veins are formed. There are several proteins at play, and certain people lack those necessary proteins to form blood clots.

What Hinders the Immune System &
Our Body’s Natural Self-Healing Abilities?

Kid Laying on a Heart PaperMany factors can inhibit a body’s natural self-healing functions. Some of these factors are obvious ones, such as an unhealthy environment and diet, while there are several other factors that we are still learning about. We all know our bodies need adequate exercise, high-quality sleep, healthy food, clean water, and a bit of good old-fashioned sunlight.
Drastically limiting any one of those things can greatly influence your health. Various types of emotional stress, poor diet, as well as environmental contaminants and toxins, all can greatly damage our body’s natural healing processes. Even your general mindset can greatly impact your health!

How the Human Body Gets Damaged Over Time
Poor Diet: Thanks to many decades of research, we now know that our diet is one of the key influencers of our health. A poor diet that lacks nutrition can wreak havoc on the body. This is why a nutrient-rich diet is needed for everyone’s optimum development. Not only that, unless you eat exclusively organic, it’s also a major source of environmental toxins. These toxins build up in your body and put an enormous amount of strain on your entire system. They can also cause inflammation and contribute to digestive disorders.

Lack of Exercise: An exercise routine is essential for everyone’s health and well-being. A sedentary lifestyle is one of the fastest ways the body falls apart. It doesn’t have to be strenuous, aerobic exercise. Even something as simple as going for a walk can have incredible healing power. That’s because it stimulates your blood flow, thus meaning it combats heart disease and improves heart rate. It brings oxygen and nutrients to your cells while carrying toxins away. It helps you burn calories, sleep better, and improves your overall mindset while reducing any emotional stress you may be feeling.
(150 minutes of brisk exercise per week is proven to live longer.)

Free radicals: are another important factor in poor health. They play an important role in eliminating waste from damage inside the cell. However, inflammation, stress, and infection increase free radical production. When your body produces too many free radicals, it results in oxidative stress which causes disease and damages cells and DNA.

Stem Cells: After a while, when our stem cells get worn out, our body becomes less able to heal itself and regenerate. With time, their ability to replicate and regenerate new tissue becomes more and more difficult. Scientists are still researching why stem cell numbers and efficiency decreases with age. Many believe stem cells are the key to longevity and longer life spans.

How to Heal Your Body Naturally
Yes, you really can heal your body’s ability to naturally heal itself! Making sure you’re getting the correct amount of high-quality sleep is crucial. An enormous portion of the repair and regeneration work your body does is done while you are fast asleep. Not getting adequate sleep not only decreases the amount of time that your body is most effective at healing but it also greatly weakens your immune system.
A weakened immune system makes the human body much more susceptible to illness, which requires your body to direct its healing processes toward beating the illness, rather than repairing damage from your natural daily activities.

How the Body Can Heal Itself Faster:
Regenerative Medicine:
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) states that “Regenerative medicine is the process of creating living, functional tissues to repair or replace tissue or organ function lost due to age, disease, damage, or congenital defects.” The greatest benefit of this treatment is that you’re treating illness and injury in such a way that the body is being restored.
Regenerative Medicine is still very young, with thousands of areas of research being studied. A variety of regenerative treatment methods have already been proven to be effective for many conditions.

Homeopathic Medicine: Homeopathy is our oldest form of natural medicine. It’s currently used by over 200 million people worldwide to treat both chronic and acute health conditions. Homeopathic medicines – commonly known as remedies – are made from various natural substances such as plants and minerals. Prepared in licensed laboratories, under strict control, they are usually taken as a tablet but are also available as liquids, powder or creams. These remedies are specifically designed to help stimulate the body’s natural healing ability.
Homeopaths do work a lot like conventional doctors. As well as asking about your symptoms, a homeopath will also be interested in you as an individual and the unique way in which you live. A homeopath will discuss your lifestyle, medical history, and state of mind before prescribing the appropriate homeopathic medicine.

Introspective Hypnosis: Some people have found introspective hypnosis to be extremely efficient in combating chronic pain and long term illnesses.

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique℠ (QHHT®) is a hypnosis technique pioneered by the late hypnotist, Dolores Cannon. Dolores’ method of hypnosis, involves inducing an individual deep into the Somnambulistic state of trance through visualization. A state which under ordinary circumstances is experienced only twice daily: the moment just before you become consciously awake and the moment just before you fall asleep. It allows us to communicate with the Higher Self aka Subconscious portion of the individual’s mind.
The Subconscious can identify any physical problem it detects within the body to a QHHT® Practitioner and explains the causes for its presence, be it from the current life or a past life. The Subconscious is then asked if it is suitable for healing to occur, which, if it is, is done instantaneously with no medication, surgery, or pain involved. Very often, simply understanding why a disease is present or why a particular emotion is being experienced is sufficient for it to be relieved and removed by the Subconscious.

What is Emotional Stress?–How It Affects You | MaxLiving

Emotional Stress, What It Is, Side Effects, and Stress Relief Tips
Stress permeates your life today in so many different ways. It impacts you with obvious glitches like being stuck in freeway traffic or having your boss yell at you when you under-delivered on a project. When you hear stress, you likely imagine its emotional impact, but its effects can also be physical like over-exercising or under-sleeping.

What Causes Stress?

Researchers define stress as “any situation which tends to disturb the equilibrium between a living organism and its environment.”
Among the many stressors that you might face today include work pressure, examinations, psychosocial stress, and physical stresses due to trauma, surgery, and various medical disorders.

Everyone deals with stress differently, and what might stress one person out would hardly bother another person. You might perceive rush-hour traffic as an hour of misery to grind your way through, or you might use it as an opportunity to catch up on phone calls. A work presentation can feel like a herculean challenge or an opportunity to show your skills.

While stress might feel like stress – meaning, miserable and uncomfortable – researchers divide it into three broad categories. “Stress management can be complicated and confusing because there are different types stress — acute stress, episodic acute stress, and chronic stress — each with its own characteristics, symptoms, duration and treatment approaches,” says the American Psychological Association (APA).

Acute stress, the most common form, comes from demands and pressures of the recent past and anticipated demands and pressures of the near future. Emotional distress, muscular problems including back pain, and gut problems like a stomachache are among the symptoms of acute stress.
We’ve all known someone who has episodic acute stress. He’s always late, constantly juggling multiple tasks, and generally seems to enjoy the chaotic drama that permeates his life.

If you call him out on this drama, he might lose his temper or even become hostile. He might seem to thrive on stress. The APA says that while acute stress can feel thrilling, chronic stress most decidedly does not. That festering, sometimes low-grade stress can leave you feeling hopeless and despondent. Among the culprits for chronic stress include poverty, having a dysfunctional family, being in an unhappy marriage or job, or living in a war-torn country.

“The worst aspect of chronic stress is that people get used to it,” says the APA. “They forget it’s there. People are immediately aware of acute stress because it is new; they ignore chronic stress because it is old, familiar, and sometimes, almost comfortable.”

Types of Stress

Acute stress can be quick and uncomfortable, but that short-term stress is… well, temporary. It goes away, and it might even make you stronger or more resilient. Chronic stress, on the other hand, sticks around long after its welcome. It can sabotage your health and happiness.

Within those short-term versus long-term categories, stress comes in different “flavors,” including traumatic, physical, and the most common, emotional. Because it occurs so commonly, let’s focus on emotional stress here.

Its effects can be similar to depression. With persistent emotional stress, you might lose or gain weight. You might notice sleep changes. You maybe feel isolated and struggle with mood swings. Needless to say, these feelings and changes can sabotage your life and your happiness.
Other signs of emotional stress include anxiety, having memory lapses, feeling fatigued and worn down, avoiding friends and family, not being in the mood for sex, and mood swings that practically everyone around you notices.

Everyone feels those things occasionally, but when you almost constantly feel tired, anxious, or want to isolate yourself from others, those can be signs that emotional stress has overpowered your life. And that’s nothing to take lightly.

Stress and Your Spine:

People understand the link between emotional stress and things like ulcers, heart disease, and headaches. But emotional stress also impacts those tight muscles in your neck and shoulders. That stress, coupled with stress added to other areas including your limbic system, meninges, and spinal cord, can have an impact on posture and contribute to poor spine health.

Stress impacts your spine in numerous ways.

One study discussed in the May 2001 issue of Popular Science looked at a group of college students who repeatedly lifted 25-pound boxes. A special measuring device calculated the pressure on the students’ spines.

During the first half of the experiment, the researchers offered words of encouragement to participants while they performed their tasks. But during the second half of the experiment, they were criticized. That criticism didn’t bother some students, but it sure did others.

In particular, introverted students who didn’t handle criticism well disliked repetitive work had an almost 27 percent increase in pressure on their spine. That result is important for different reasons. One, because stress impacts everyone differently. You might be able to “roll with it,” but not everyone can.

Two, a 27 percent increase of pressure on the spine is more than enough to subluxate someone. “What this shows is that there is a body-mind interaction that manifests itself as pressure on the spine,” said William Marras, professor of industrial engineering at Ohio State University.
Of course, if you are already suffering from spinal alignment issues, your spine is weak and stress will have a far greater negative impact on your health.

Stress impacts your spine in numerous ways.

Stress’s impact on your spine could come in other forms, including athletic competitions or even non-physical stressful situations like talking on the phone with your head tilted at an angle, sitting at a computer, or any kind of repetitive work while experiencing a job’s pressures.

Except for major physical traumas, most spinal issues likely occur from a combination of physical, chemical, and emotional stressors. Clearly, if you are subluxation free – already living with your spine in line – you can better withstand those forces.

But few of us do. Almost-constant stressors impact even the strongest spines, which is why keeping your spine its ideal state becomes so important. Otherwise, daily stress will undoubtedly take its toll.

Side Effects of Stress

Emotional stress can adversely impact your spine, which can also trigger or exacerbate numerous other health problems. Emotional stress can manifest in different ways, including anxiety, depression, and hostility.

Research shows women and men handle stress differently. Women have a greater risk for depression and anxiety, whereas men have a greater risk for alcohol-use disorders. For both genders, that’s bad news.

Emotional stress can also adversely impact many hormones including glucocorticoids, catecholamines, growth hormone, insulin, and prolactin. Some of that impact gears you up for the fight-or-flight response, but research shows these hormonal imbalances can negatively impact problems including obesity as well as your adrenal and thyroid glands.

Impacts of Stress Along with those hormonal imbalances, stress impacts numerous areas of your life. Some common issues and side effects of stress include.

1. Gut problems.

Epidemiological data indicates along with depression, emotional stress might influence the development of gastrointestinal disorders and cancers. One study with 23,698 people found stress and depression related to digestive diseases including functional dyspepsia (FD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and reflux esophagitis. Depression was also linked to peptic ulcer disease and adenoma/carcinoma of the colon and stomach.

2. Immunity.

Emotional stress can crash your immune system. In fact, one meta-analysis of over 300 empirical studies spanning three decades found psychological stress could negatively impact your immune system. You’ve probably experienced this after having a crazy week at work and then you suddenly fall ill on the weekend. It’s not in your head: Stress can seriously impact your immune system.

3. Skin problems.

The most common trigger for inflammatory skin disorders, including psoriasis, is emotional stress. Think about someone who has an emotional reaction to something and subsequently breaks out in hives or a rash.

4. Oxidative stress.

Think of oxidative stress as your body rusting. “Oxidative damage is what happens when nasty rogue molecules called ‘free radicals’ attack your cells and DNA, damaging the body and aging you from within,” says Jonny Bowden, Ph.D. Research shows emotional stress can trigger or exacerbate oxidative stress, leading to problems including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.

5. Obesity.

Emotional stress can encourage comfort-food eating, overeating, eating disorders, and fat-regulating hormonal imbalances. Once again, think back to a hectic week at work or a fight with your significant other. If you’re hitting the freezer for butter pecan at 11 p.m. more often than normal, emotional stress could play a role in those eating habits.

6. Diabetes.

Along with depression, researchers link emotional stress with increased risk for Type 2 diabetes. Obviously, chronic diseases like diabetes are multifactorial. A sugar-filled diet coupled with inactivity can certainly contribute to Type 2 diabetes, but conventional practitioners often overlook things like emotional stress for these conditions.

7. Lack of physical activity.

Research shows emotional stress can impair efforts to be physically active. Interestingly, exercise is one of the best mood boosters on the planet, yet if you’re feeling any type of emotional distress, you might be more likely to hit the couch than the weight room.

8. Sleep.

Sleep disrupts how you sleep and creates sleep disorders including insomnia. If you’ve had something weighing on your mind and tossed for hours, you know how emotional stress can impact sleep quality and quantity. What is Circadian Rhythm & Why Is It Important | MaxLiving
The list goes on and on. Emotional stress impacts nearly every area of life, and left unmanaged, it can sabotage your health, happiness, and overall quality of life.

How to Reduce Stress – 10 Strategies for Stress Relief

Everyone experiences stress differently. If you believe emotional stress has impacted your life, never dismiss that feeling as “in your head” or something to trooper through things. When you bottle up stress, it can manifest in unhealthy ways including drinking too much, anger and damaging your overall quality of life.

You can’t eliminate stress, but you can learn to manage it better. Stress management strategies can help you better cope with the near-constant emotional stress that permeates 21st-century life. Among those include:

1. Eliminate or minimize foods that can impact emotional stress.

Food sensitivities including sugar, gluten, dairy, and pretty much any processed food can create a roller coaster that leaves you feeling good for a bit but crashes quickly. Diet is an often-overlooked culprit for emotional stress. Eliminating food sensitivities and adding in plenty of whole, unprocessed, nutrient-rich foods can dramatically impact your mood.

2. Find a sanctuary that helps you unwind.

Everyone needs downtime to relax, feel calmer, and dial down emotional stress and other unpleasant emotions. Your sanctuary might be walking in nature, going to church, or taking your dog on a lake walk. Don’t underestimate the power of little moments to reduce emotional stress.

3. Try emotionally calming nutrients.

In an ideal world, your calming neurotransmitters could be in balance and you wouldn’t have nutrient deficiencies. Unfortunately, that often isn’t the case. Certain nutrients can help restore equilibrium and reduce the impact of emotional stress. Research show nutrients like L-theanine, GABA, and Rhodiola Rosea can help emotional stress, lower anxiety, and help you feel more focused. These benefits don’t happen overnight, and they demand the correct ratios with quality supplements. Try Adrenal Calm, a natural GABA supplement. Speak with a chiropractor or other healthcare specialist who can help you design a protocol that addresses your specific condition.

4. Get great sleep.

Talk about a vicious cycle: You sleep terribly, gain weight, and struggle with emotional stress. Research shows they’re interrelated. The aftermath is equally awful: Sleep-deprived, you’re more vulnerable to feeling emotional stress and grabbing a donut your receptionist brought in to compensate. Don’t fall into that trap. Aim for eight hours of quality, uninterrupted sleep every night. You might need to try a supplement like our sleep and mood or inositol powder to calm your mind and drift into sound slumber. Starting the habit of getting a good night’s sleep is one of the simplest things you can do to help with stress relief.

5. Get control over your situation.

One study found patients with heart failure who had high perceived control had significantly greater 6-minute walk distances and less emotional distress than patients with low perceived control. In other words, people who felt more in control over their situation had less emotional stress than those who didn’t feel in control. Getting control means doing whatever you can to improve a situation and letting go of what you can’t control.

6. Write it down.

Brooding on a situation can only amplify emotional stress. Journaling can provide a powerful release for those negative emotions. One study asked young adults to write for 20 minutes on four occasions about deepest thoughts and feelings regarding their most stressful/traumatic event in the past five years (expressive writing) or about a control topic (control). After three months, the expressive-writing group had a significant reduction in anxiety, whereas participants low in expressiveness showed a significant increase in anxiety.

7. Utilize apps.

Keeping smartphone applications nearby can help you take control when panic attacks or other emotional stressors usurp your day. Even a few minutes of deep breathing, meditation, or mindfulness can help you harness those feelings. Many of these apps are free, so test-drive a few out and see whether they work for you.

8. Implement strategies that help you manage stress.

Meditation, deep breathing, yoga, and changing your mindset are all tools you can utilize to manage emotional stress. None of these are quick fixes, but they can help you stay more present, put things into perspective, and let go of emotions that sabotage your health.

9. Regular sun exposure (aka Chronic sun exposure):

  • SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING AT LEAST 16 TYPES OF CANCER
  • reduces your risk of heart disease, diabetes, depression and numerous other illnesses and imbalances
  • can actually heal a number of illnesses by restoring proper vitamin D levels and melatonin levels
  • helps you lose weight
  • reduces stress and anxiety

10. Visit a chiropractor.

Your spine houses the nervous system. Chronic stress of any kind – and let’s face it, we all struggle with this to some degree – can impact muscle tension and contraction, putting uneven pressure on your skeleton and leading to subluxations. A chiropractor can help relieve stress’ pressure on your spine and also implement a diet, nutrient, and lifestyle protocol to help you better cope with emotional stress. What stress does to the spine.

Why it Crackles An inspirational film for anyone who has ever aspired to anything.

Description THE HUMAN RACE follows six runners over the age of 50 as they each train for the biggest race of their lives. Make no mistake, this documentary is not cute. These runners are dedicated, fierce, competitive… and could probably outrun you. Watch The Human Race Online Free – Crackle

“Survival of the fittest” has been far exceeded by survival of the most collaborative. As hunter gatherers humans formed tribes and whether they were nomadic or regional it would soon be discovered that resources are the reason for sharing or aggression. “The reason for mankind is reason.”

Reason is another resource that evolved into communal and political scenarios. Food in short supply was likely very often shared with the individual stranger wandering into the camp yet a band of men with spears and clubs spying on a tribe living in comfort is a different situation.

Violence is exemplified in nature with the apex event of the hunt being the kill. As tribes and societies grew those “political” grew some fear strategies of killing not for food but for making an impression.

Probably the most common fear strategy is of “the devil” being pictured with horns, teeth or tail. The devil being thought to be evil equates nature with evil.

The title pagan originally meant living rural away from civilized society. Those able to survive with few neighbors became the originators of barter while the city folk became those comforted by commerce.

Several generations of this creates the duality authorized by those who were in financial competition of the rural who could provide for themselves.

“To make a better human lessen their strife.” It is certain that the cosmopolitan character is more at ease while the rural dwellers follow a greater life of responsibility. Nope. They are basically civilized by nature.

But for the interference by the Opposed, humanity would be civilized. It is a court case. The challenge was put forth by the Liar that mankind is not good enough. God is allowing the prosecution to present its evidence.

You must realize that the entire history of mankind in God’s eyes has not lasted the total duration of a day.

Yet to come in this, the seventh day, is for mankind to be allowed life in God’s kingdom in order for each to be fully informed as to what is really going on so they can make his/her decision as to whether they want to live or not. Jesus was appointed by God to be king over the earth for a thousand years. This thousand year reign of Jesus is also called Judgment Day, which is about to begin. During that time the people will be taught how to be human again. Homo Sapiens share 98.3% of our genes with chimpanzees.

Knowing what we know now, it wouldn’t have been quite as shocking to Jane Goodall. When she saw them go to war. Females and young chimps were killed. We only separated 5-7 million years ago. Gorilla violence is only limited to the alpha male silverbacks. They separated 8 million years ago. So there were no mass killings before 7 million years ago. I think IGNORANCE is the greatest enemy of our survival as beings. Gombe Chimpanzee War – Wikipedia

BARBARIAN; BARBAROUSbar-ba’-ri-an, bar’-ba-rus (barbaros):A word probably formed by imitation of the unintelligible sounds of foreign speech, and hence, in the mouth of a Greek it meant anything that was not Greek, language, people or customs. With the spread of Greek language and culture, it came to be used generally for all that was non-Greek.

Philo and Josephus sometimes called their own nation “barbarians,” and so did Roman writers up to the Augustan age, when they adopted Greek culture, and reckoned themselves with the Greeks as the only cultured people in the world. Therefore Greek and barbarian meant the whole human race (Romans 1:14).

In Colossians 3:11, “barbarian, Scythian” is not a classification or antithesis but a “climax” (Abbott) = “barbarians, even Scythians, the lowest type of barbarians.” In Christ, all racial distinctions, even the most pronounced, disappear.

In 1 Corinthians 14:11 Paul uses the term in its more primitive sense of one speaking a foreign, and therefore, an unintelligible language:”If then I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be to him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh will be a barbarian unto me.” Speaking with tongues would not be a means of communication.

The excited inarticulate ejaculations of the Corinthian revivalists were worse than useless unless someone had the gift of articulating in intelligible language the force of feeling that produced them (dunamis tes phones, literally, “the power of the sound”).In Acts 28:2,4 (in the King James Version of Acts 28:2 “barbarous people” = barbarians) the writer, perhaps from the Greek-Roman standpoint, calls the inhabitants of Melita barbarians, as being descendants of the old Phoenician settlers, or possibly in the more general sense of “strangers.” For the later sense of “brutal,” “cruel,” “savage,” see 2 Macc 2:21; 4:25; 15:2.  — T. Civilization, Barbarism and the Marxist view of History

What does the Bible say about race?

Any serious biblical study of race or ethnicity should start in Genesis 1.

The Bible does not start off with the creation of a special or privileged race of people. When the first human being is created he is simply called Adam, which is Hebrew for “humankind.” Adam and Eve are not Hebrews or Egyptians; they are neither White nor Black nor even Semitic.

Their own particular ethnicity is not even mentioned, for the Bible seems to stress that they are the mother and father of all peoples of all ethnicities. Adam and Eve are presented as non-ethnic and non-national because they represent all people of all ethnicities. In Genesis 1:26 God says, “Let Us make man (adam) in Our image, according to Our likeness.” Then 1:27 describes his creative action: “So God created man (adam) in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female.”[1]

The “image of God” relates to one or more of the following:

1) the mental and spiritual faculties that people share with God;

2) the appointment of humankind as God’s representatives on earth; and

3) a capacity to relate to God. Yet what is clear is that being created in “the image of God” is a spectacular blessing; it is what distinguishes people from animals.

Likewise, whether or not the “image of God” in people was marred or blurred in the “Fall” of Genesis 3, it is clear that at the very least people still carry some aspect of the image of God, and this gives humankind a very special status in the creation. Furthermore, as mentioned above, Adam and Eve are ethnically generic, representing all ethnicities. Thus the Bible is very clear in declaring from the beginning that all people of all races and ethnicities carry the image of God.

This reality provides a strong starting point for our discussion of what the Bible says about race. Indeed, John Stott declares, “Both the dignity and the equality of human beings are traced in Scripture to our creation.”[2]

To presuppose that one’s own race or ethnicity is superior to someone else’s is a denial of the fact that all people are created in the image of God. The Book of Proverbs presents several practical implications from this connection between God and the people he created.

For example, Proverbs 14:31a states, “The one who oppresses the poor insults their Maker.” Proverbs 17:5a echoes this teaching, “The one who mocks the poor insults his Maker.” These verses teach that those who take a superior attitude toward others due to their socio-economic position and thus oppress or mock others are in fact insulting God himself. To insult or mistreat the people God has created is an affront to him, their Creator.

The same principle applies to racial prejudice. The unjustified self-establishment of superiority by one group that leads to the oppression of other groups is an affront to God. Likewise, the mocking of people God created—and this would apply directly to ethnic belittling or “racial jokes”—is a direct insult to God. All people of all ethnicities are created in the image of God.

Viewing them as such and therefore treating them with dignity and respect is not just a suggestion or “good manners,” it is one of the mandates emerging out of Genesis 1 and Proverbs.

Brahmanism is an inhuman barbarian system, simply offending basic manners for another individual except its own clan, carefully designed on purpose in the most evil way possible, toxically designed, manufactured, built over a period of three millennia by the most cunning human parasites in the Indian history of human race on the mostly tropical Indian sub-continent – by the easy life seeking group of people, designated themselves as ‘Brahmins’, wearing a white thread across their body, from left to right with clear focus, goal to loot free of labor and costs of the goods and services of productive natives.  Adi Dravida in India | Joshua Project

Dividing them through mass propaganda of their irrational stories, through oral, written, paint and sculptures in their temples-small and big box – all of which are built free of any of Bramin individuals labor, or physical effort through the systemic manipulative techniques structured in a way to keep people of all levels and classes, ignorant through appropriation in stealthy ways – from the native works and customs in a massive scale, over the centuries, and now with a newer force and a notorious vigor in modern times after these forces recaptured the power almost to an absolute scale in India with impunity.Brahmanism, by the white threaded Brahmins, are in the business of maintaining status quo, of their perks and privileges by birth through continued lies thrust upon people by power captured by indirect and direct means over the last three millennia in the Indian subcontinent. These are group of marauders, posing as religious genius with their self-promoting lies of human life before and after creation of universe, as if the Vedic Brahmin was at the backbone of creating this universe with a view to fleece the powers and peoples alike – of their goods and services through the fake Hindu varieties of god market, advertising and selling.

The Vedic clan armed with stories such as ‘puranas’ (meaning old) and such in a non-existing god praising poetic language called ‘Sanskrit’ – now dead-except, used exclusively as a secretive tool to keep the cheat god market going – a psychological management language – that even abuses the gullible who worship their numerous gods, goddess and animals with myriad conflicting relationships, including bestiality and outrights contradictory to normal human relationships.

Brahminism is short, is a retrograde practice implemented, in contemporary times in the form of caste embedded Hinduism, sustained by the networks of an exclusive organization headed by the nasty characters, called Shankaracharya’s in India across some dozen strategic riverbank cities.

Thus a group of by the invading army of immigrants from the Caspian Sea area by foot and their chariots to a self-sustained rich areas, and rich hearted have been completely made into a no interactive, most part divided into rigid and closed castes – with nothing much to celebrate the so-called Indian freedom – there is no freedom in caste-based Hinduism. One has to live through its caste stamp though-out his lifetime – that is some 50 generations and counting-all for the selfish motives of a population that is just about 3% that has managed to instill a foolproof and destructive method on a population of about 97% – all from a cunning group of people who managed to get settlements across India. Remember only a group of about 50 landed in the current Americas but were able to conquer the whole natives’ geography that is three times the size of India. In short, it is easy for thieves to occupy the whole home once let in.No wonder, Brahminism is now aptly worded as ‘Bra-meanism’. Author – Suthamalli AdiDravida

An Overview of Joint Subluxation

If you’ve been reading about chiropractic care and its treatments you might have crossed the term subluxation. subluxation chart – Bing video

In most cases, chiropractic patients listen to this word after their initial diagnosis and when chiropractors are going through the spinal adjustments and manipulations. But, hearing this word so many times during your treatment plan might leave you asking – what is a subluxation?

Continue reading to understand the meaning behind a subluxation and what they mean to your health.

What Is a Subluxation of the Spine?
A subluxation of the spine is a condition that occurs when a joint begins to dislocate. But, instead of the joint surface completely losing contact, a subluxation is considered to be a “partial dislocation.” In some cases, subluxations can be quite painful, depending on the reason why they form. If left untreated a subluxation can trigger a degenerative process in the surrounding areas, and it might become more difficult to reverse it as the body progressively adjusts itself to the misaligned or partially dislocated shape.
In the chiropractic world, a subluxation is the most important reason to check your intervertebral joint motion and your musculoskeletal system. One could say a chiropractors’ entire world revolves around finding and realigning subluxations to improve and promote wellness.

Types of Subluxation
Some chiropractors like to separate subluxation by the level of dislocation present between the joints. In this case, some types of subluxation include a
V-shape widening, moderate subluxation, advanced subluxation, and finally ending up in a dislocation.

However, a subluxation can occur in one of three types, including:
Anterior Subluxation (forward) – This type is the most common,
it is localized and purely ligamentous, the bone is not involved.
Posterior Subluxation (backward) – This type of subluxation is very rare, and it is often the result of an injury or trauma.
Inferior (downward) – This type of dislocation is also rare, and it entails the joint being displaced downward.

Understanding the Subluxation Causes
Subluxations can occur at any age and can be attributed to various causes. However, subluxation causes can either be physical or emotional, the latter referring to chemical or emotional stressors. Understanding the subluxation cause can help chiropractors steer the treatment plan to target the source of
the problem and not just the symptoms.

Some of the most common subluxation causes include:

Traumas
The most common cause of subluxations, sudden trauma injuries include
car accidents, slip and falls, and so on. However, subluxations can also occur after childbirth, for both the child and the mother. Another physical cause of subluxation can be attributed to sleeping in a bad position, ALSO poor office ergonomics, and walking with poor posture. All of these impacts can nudge
the vertebrae out of alignment leading to a subluxation.

Toxins
While physical traumas are easy to spot, toxins on the other hand?
Not so much. Our bodies are a conglomerate of chemicals, and to stay healthy, our bodies must remain chemically balanced. When we ingest more toxic chemicals whether through the environment, food, or our drinks, we are at risk of impacting this balance. When these chemicals start fluctuating, our muscles can contract, changing the fiber length in the muscles, thus causing a subluxation.

Emotions
It might seem impossible for your emotional state to change your body. However, when you are experiencing stress, or you are going through any emotional distress, your body is thrown off-balance. The levels of tension in our backs and necks begin to change as a result, and the pulling from tight muscles can draw some of your vertebrae out of alignment. Not to mention, stress also alters your chemical balance by raising cortisol levels,
which brings us back to the toxins caused for subluxations.

What Are Some Subluxation Symptoms?
Unlike a dislocation, subluxations cannot be seen and their symptoms
often gradually worsen. Depending on the severity of the subluxation and the location of the joints affected, symptoms may vary. Some patients might feel these symptoms immediately after the appearance of the subluxation, usually when it is caused by a sudden trauma.

Some common condensed symptoms of subluxations include:

– Pain around the affected joint
– Swelling around the affected joint
– Limited mobility of the affected joint
– A sensation of the joint being unstable or wanting to give-out.

What Is Subluxation Treatment?
As subluxations can evolve, early treatment is vital to ensure the joint
remains in the proper position. The best way to treat subluxations is through chiropractic care. The primary goal of chiropractic care is to maintain an aligned body; localizing, analyzing, and adjusting subluxations is critical to keep an aligned body.
Some common at-home subluxation treatments include resting the affected joint, icing the area, and elevating it to reduce swelling. However, these will only help with some of the symptoms, but they will not correct or treat the subluxation itself.
The one and most effective subluxation treatment is a chiropractic adjustment.
In essence, a chiropractic adjustment or a spinal manipulation is a manual technique performed by a licensed chiropractor to treat subluxations.
Through a physical examination, a chiropractor can analyze and locate spinal subluxations. Then, by using precise and manual techniques, chiropractors can realign the vertebrae on the spine to make sure they are placed back in their proper position.
A joint subluxation is a partial dislocation of a joint. It is often the result of acute injury or repetitive motion injury but can also be caused by medical conditions that undermine the integrity of ligaments. The treatment for subluxations may include resetting the joint, pain relief, rehabilitation
therapy, and, in severe cases, surgery.

Symptoms
As opposed to luxation (the complete dislocation of a joint),
subluxations only result in the partial separation of a joint.
Some of the common symptoms include:
Pain and swelling around the joint
A sensation of joint instability
Limited mobility or the loss of range of motion
Loss of feeling or numbness (usually temporary)
Bruising. 1

If the joint injury is serious, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Signs of an emergency include severe pain, loss of sensation, or the inability to move a joint or bear weight on it. 2

Types of Subluxation
Some joints are more likely to be affected by subluxations than others.
Some of the more commonly affected joints include those of the spine, shoulder, kneecap, and elbow.

Vertebral Subluxation
A vertebral subluxation can occur with trauma to the spine, such as a fall or severe blow. The subluxation may involve a ligament rupture with or without injury to the vertebra (spinal bones) itself. This type of injury can compress
the spinal cord, resulting in shooting pains, referred pain, or loss of nerve function.3

The term subluxation is also used by chiropractors to describe any misalignment of the vertebrae that needs adjustment. Chiropractors typically use spinal manipulation to help place joints in the spine in their proper position.4

Shoulder Subluxation
A shoulder subluxation means that the ball of your upper arm comes partially out of the socket in your scapula (shoulder blade). Severe injury or trauma is most often the cause of shoulder subluxation.

Sports like swimming, tennis, volleyball, and others that involve repetitive upward motions can loosen the ligaments in the shoulder and make it more likely for subluxation to
occur.5
With shoulder subluxation, your shoulder may feel as it is loose or slipping in and out of the socket. Pain and loss of motion are common and often extreme.

What Happens When You Dislocate Your Shoulder

Patellar Subluxation
The patella (kneecaps) fits in a groove at the end of the tibia (thigh bone).
A patellar subluxation occurs when the kneecap moves partially out of that groove. Patellar subluxation is the most common knee problem in children
and adolescents.6
Patellar subluxation is usually caused by a direct fall on the knee but can also happen if the knee ligaments are loose. Symptoms can vary but may include pain, swelling, feeling the knee “give way,” and a misshapen look
to the knee.7

What Are the Signs of Kneecap Dislocation?

Elbow Subluxation
Elbow subluxations can occur when someone falls onto their hands.
Though elbow luxations are typically very painful, subluxations may not be
as obvious. The elbow may move perfectly well, there may be a dull or sharp pain.8

Children under seven can get a type of subluxation called a radial head subluxation (a.k.a. “nursemaid’s elbow”).
This can happen when the child’s arm is pulled a little too roughly. Because the bones and muscles of younger children are still growing, dislocation can occur quite easily. Although painful, a nursemaid’s elbow can be easily reset by a doctor.9

 Common Signs of Elbow Dislocation
Causes
Subluxations most often occur as the result of trauma to a joint. There may be predisposing factors that increase the risk of subluxation, such as older age or participation in contact sports.

Traumatic causes of joint subluxation include:

Blunt force injuries: Including motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, or a severe fall
Overuse injuries: Including those associated with medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow) or patellar tendonitis (jumper’s knee)
Joint hyperextension: An injury that occurs when a joint is hyperextended  (extended beyond its normal range of motion) 10
Subluxations can also occur as a result of loose joints. For example, people with generalized joint laxity and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome have joints that are overly flexible. Individuals with these conditions are prone to subluxations, often without any instigating trauma or injury. 11

During pregnancy, the overproduction of certain hormones can also loosen ligaments, making the joints hypermobile and at risk of dislocation.12

Diagnosis
Joint subluxation is typically diagnosed with a physical exam and imaging studies. Even if a joint injury doesn’t appear all

that serious but is limiting motion or “feels loose,” it is important to make an appointment with your doctor immediately.

During the appointment, your doctor will examine the injured joint to check for any visible damage, such as swelling and bruising. The doctor will ask questions about the type of incident, if any, that preceded the injury. You may also be asked to wiggle your fingers or toes to see if there are any ruptured tendons or nerve injury.

To confirm the diagnosis and direct the appropriate treatment, your doctor will order imaging tests to check if there are ruptures, hematoma (a blood pocket), joint effusion (the accumulation of fluid), or a fracture. Imaging options include:

X-ray: A plain film radiologic study that can help characterize the dislocation and identify ruptured ligaments or bone fractures
Computerized tomography (CT): A radiologic study involving composited X-rays that offer a three-dimensional representation of an injured joint
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI): An imaging study using powerful magnetic and radio waves that can help identify soft tissue injuries13
Doctors will use these same diagnostic tools if you are seen in an emergency room. They will also check for serious injuries, including arterial and nerve damage.

Treatment
After examining the injury, your doctor will likely reset the joint into its proper position using manual manipulation.
This may involve turning or pulling the limb. 14
Once the joint is properly realigned and your doctor has ruled out any complications, the treatment will be focused on reducing inflammation and pain. The standard approach, known by the acronym RICE, involves:
Rest: You will be instructed to limit activity and avoid putting weight on the affected joint.

To improve recovery and ensure stability, the doctor may immobilize the joint with a splint, brace, or cast.
Ice ApplicationIcing an injury helps dilate blood vessels to reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling.

Apply the ice pack for no more than 15 to 20 minutes several times a day, using a cloth barrier to prevent frostbite.
Compression: Your doctor may suggest an elastic bandage to control swelling, reduce blood flow, and provide structural support to the affected joint.
Elevation: Placing the joint above the heart can also alleviate pain and inflammation by reducing blood flow and pressure to the  the joint. 2
Your doctor may also suggest a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) like Aleve (naproxen)Advil (ibuprofen), or Voltaren (diclofenac) to alleviate swelling and inflammation.

Joint Surgery
Occasionally, surgery may be needed if the joint cannot be realigned manually or the dislocation is recurrent.

Surgery may involve grafting bone or connective tissues into the  joint space, debriding (removing) cartilage or bone to improve joint mobility, or repairing torn ligaments or tendons. 15
Joint surgery is performed by an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in muscle and skeletal diseases and disorders.

It may require open surgery or be performed arthroscopically.

Recovery and Rehabilitation
Once the acute inflammation has subsided, your doctor may suggest a long-term treatment plan. In most cases,

subluxations are one-time events, and you will be able to fully recover the function of a joint with simple at-home exercises.

Severe subluxations can cause long-term impairment and instability. If these symptoms persist after treatment, your doctor will likely refer you to a physical therapist to strengthen the muscles and ligaments and maintain or increase the range of motion in the joint. This may involve in-office procedures and
at-home exercises and treatments. 16

An Overview of Physical Therapy Exercises
Just because a subluxation is “not as bad” as a full dislocation, you shouldn’t ignore it and hope that it goes away on its own. Doing so may lead to permanent changes in the joint space (including the development of osteoarthritis) or result in the impairment of blood flow and the onset of tissue necrosis (tissue death) or avascular necrosis (bone death). 17 In most cases, joint subluxation can be treated conservatively. But, if a severe injury occurs, early treatment almost always results in better outcomes.

German New Medicine makes sense of illness, perhaps for the very first time and authenticates that disease is not

a mistake of nature, but rather an intrinsic part thereof. It affirms something deep within us, that we’ve always known.
Namely, Mother Nature is not fallible and continuously susceptible to break down. German New Medicine is often lumped
into the generic mind-body category or discipline. German New Medicine is not about your thoughts creating a cancer or your feelings manifesting as this-and-that disease.  German New Medicine pdf

It is not an approach of negativism that one’s “stinkin’ thinkin” must have created this or that. To elicit a cure we don’t have to manipulate genomes, reduce inflammation, alkalize the water, find the next ‘smart’ drug or war against anything whatsoever. The answer is revealed by understanding what catalyzed the disease response on the cellular level.

VIRUS of the Communist Party

We should be calling it the CCP VIRUS, says the Epoch Times and others.
This pandemic is not the fault of the Chinese people, but rather the fault of the Communist Party. The Chinese people have been victimized by the CCP’s handling of this pandemic. Create FEAR by running up the death toll to over 377,883 in the US. Many who suffered terminally ill from pneumonia, the flu, heart disease, cancer or diabetes, and tested positive for CCP virus, had his or her death attributed to the virus. Mayors and governors were playing us like fools.
Every time we caught them dining out, having their hair done, taking a vacation. We even saw Dr. Fauci at a baseball game, sitting knee-to-knee between two people and not wearing his mask or Camera off – MASK off.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) (msn.com)

Does anyone else wonder why as soon as or next the date JoeBama became president the Democrat media channels took the sidebar with the live counts of dead, infected, hospitalized off there screens? Thinking face Why is that???

Dont forget Fauci and Gates. Their dirty fingerprints are all over it as well. And they are taking full advantage of the chaos they have caused. There’s only one element in this world which can eliminate the CCP and that’s The Chinese people. The people of any given nation are the only agents totally responsible for whomever is governing them. The brutes ruling China are being sustained by The Chinese People.

How if Covid is so deadly? Shouldn’t all these people who haven’t followed any guidelines be dropping like flies. We have a pretty big homeless population where I live and strange I haven’t seen bodies dead on the street, no showering, no hand washing, no masking, no social distancing, no medications or supplements and yet there they are everyday with their little signs..Face with monocle
The 2 States With the Lowest Vaccination Rates Are Seeing COVID Spike
Rrrrright! What Big Spike???
Inquiring minds need to know! Coronavirus (COVID-19) (msn.com)

Since the start of 2021, the number of vaccines administered in the U.S. has gone up, and COVID cases have come down. As of May 17, there are nearly 124 million fully vaccinated individuals in the country, per data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), meaning more than 37 percent of the U.S. is fully vaccinated. Meanwhile, daily COVID case numbers are the lowest they’ve been in the U.S. since June 2020, the White House reports. Though the trends nationwide are looking great, unfortunately, these numbers don’t translate to every state when examining vaccination rates and COVID cases on a more local level. Looking more closely, there seems to be a correlation between low vaccination rates and rising coronavirus case numbers. In fact, the two states with the lowest vaccination rates in the country also saw the biggest COVID case increases this past week. Read on to find out which two states are struggling to keep up.

Alabama just had the largest spike in COVID cases last week, and it also has the second lowest vaccination rate nationwide.

Out of all 50 states, Alabama just experienced the biggest surge in COVID cases with a 115 percent increase in daily cases over the last seven days, according to data from The Washington Post. At the same time, the state has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country: about 27.6 percent of Alabamans are fully vaccinated as of May 18, per CDC data compiled by Becker’s Hospital Review. (By comparison, the state with the most residents vaccinated is Connecticut at 48.7 percent.)

Officials say supply is not the issue in Alabama—it’s demand. WBRC, a local Fox News affiliate in the state, just reported on May 17 that Alabama has nearly 1.3 million doses of the COVID vaccine waiting to be used.

“We have vaccines on every corner right now in the state of Alabama. It’s just a matter of people coming out, taking the opportunity to protect themselves against this deadly virus,” Karen Landers, MD, deputy health officer with the Alabama Department of Public Health, told WBRC.

Mississippi has the lowest vaccination rate in the U.S. and saw the second largest spike in COVID cases last week.

Last week, Mississippi saw the second largest spike in COVID cases in the country, behind Alabama. According to data from The Washington Post, over the last seven days, Mississippi has experienced a 27 percent increase in daily cases. The state has also vaccinated the lowest percentage of its population out of all 50 states. According to the data compiled by Becker’s Hospital Review, just 25.8 percent of Mississippi residents are fully vaccinated.

Vaccine hesitancy is incredibly rampant in the Magnolia State. A Morning Consult poll revealed that Mississippi has the highest share of vaccine hesitant residents in the country with about 34 percent of Mississippians unwilling to get the COVID vaccine.

President Biden recently warned about “flare-ups” in states where vaccination rates are low.

The correlation between states with low vaccination rates and COVID spikes is something medical experts and U.S. officials have been concerned about.

On May 17,  Joe Biden warned about the possibility for COVID “flare-ups” in states with low vaccination rates. “We know there will be advances and setbacks, and we know that there are many flare-ups that could occur,” Biden said during a White House press conference addressing the nation’s progress in the fight against COVID. “But if the unvaccinated get vaccinated, they will protect themselves and other unvaccinated people around them.”

The CDC director says these states should consider keeping mask mandates.

On May 13, the CDC announced one of its biggest guideline changes yet by saying that fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear masks indoors or outdoors under most circumstances. The change has prompted almost every state with mask mandates still in place to lift them in some capacity, or at least, announce an upcoming date when they will be officially lifted (save for New Jersey).

However, DC Director Rochelle Walensky, MD, says while lifting mask mandates is safe for fully vaccinated people in most situations, it’s not necessarily the right course of action for all states. “I want to make sure everybody understands … we’re not a homogeneous country,” Walensky told Fox News’s Chris Wallace during a May 16 interview. “There are some places that have more disease than others and less vaccination rates than others, and what I would say is in those communities, they should still be looking within those communities before removing mask policies.”
