A Looming Patent War?

Fortunately, this website is more than just information about using cannabis:
The United States government made global marijuana headlines after the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) issued a statement saying it would not remove cannabis    from the list of “Schedule I” narcotics. Schedule I is a classification assigned to drugs      the government considers highly addictive and of no medical or social value.
.

U.S Drug Schedules

In the U.S., various drugs are placed into different schedules depending on the drug’s perceived acceptable medical use and the drug’s abuse or dependency potential. There    are 5 schedules.  Schedule 5 drugs  are considered to be low abuse  and some are even      sold over the counter in certain states.

As you climb the schedule the drugs begin to get more intense. Schedule 2 contains drugs such as cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, and fentanyl. Even these drugs are seen   to have medical benefits.

Then there are the schedule 1 drugs. These drugs are considered to have no medical use and high levels of abuse. These drugs include cannabis, LSD, and heroin among others. That’s right, the U.S. Government classifies weed the same as heroin.

The statement created a firestorm of backlash, as the medical benefits and potentials          of cannabis have been documented for years.

Now, people are learning that the government itself has acknowledged the medical value of cannabis, and long ago, even as its drug and law enforcement agencies continue to stand behind punitive criminalization for cannabis drug offenders more than a decade later.

Patenting Mother Nature

U.S. Patent 6630507 is specifically for a set of cannabinoid that were found to   be “useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.”

National Cancer Institue

To add even more insult, in 2015 the National Cancer Institute released a statement on their website outlining several medical benefits of cannabis. Here are a few of the bullet points from the statement:

– The main active cannabinoid in Cannabis is delta-9-THC. Another cannabinoid               is cannabidiol (CBD), which may relieve pain,  lower inflammation,  and will also decrease anxiety without causing the “high” of delta-9-THC.

– Cannabis and cannabinoids have been studied in the laboratory                   and the clinic for relief of pain, nausea and vomiting, anxiety, and              loss of appetite.
– Cannabis and cannabinoids may have benefits in treating the symptoms of cancer or the side effects of cancer therapies.                There is growing interest in treating children  for symptoms                      such as nausea…. with Cannabis and cannabinoids,  although                studies are limited.
– Cannabis has been shown to kill cancer cells in the laboratory.

Let’s not forget  the NCI is a government agency under the U.S. Department of Health    and Human Services – the folks who own patent no. 6630507.  So,  why is it that our government can tout the healing powers of cannabis from the health department, we   can’t make any headway in rescheduling the drug. The whole thing is just infuriating.

Cannabinoids are chemical compounds which exist in different quantities depending        on the strain of marijuana. The two most prominent are CBD, cannabidiol, and THC,      the psychoactive cannabinoid that gets users “high.”

CBD especially has been found to be a potent medicine in treating neurological disorders like epilepsy, decreasing the frequency of seizures, and even treating traumatic brain injuries.  http://ehealthtnews.com/the-pineal-gland-when-we-use-cannabis/

A Looming Patent War?

But the U.S. government isn’t the only one getting in on the game of patenting cannabis.   In fact, just last year, US officials issued the first ever cannabis patent to breeders.         That little snippet of cannabis history happened on August 4, 2015.

Patent 9,095,554 is a massive 145-page document that lays out a complex scientific analysis of a range of hybrid strains with high-THC ratios.

With the growing acceptance and legalization of medical and recreational cannabis,    more breeders and growers are interesting in carving out their bit of intellectual property rights to hugely successful and innovative strains.

“It’s going to be a mess,” said Tim Blake, longtime grower and the activist who founded California’s annual Emerald Cup cannabis competition. Marijuana growers developing new varieties, he added, “are going to have to spend a lot of money on attorneys.”

Truth about Cancer: Cannabis

Meanwhile the colloquialism  Down Younder in Australia!!!

Susannah Patch’s journey from Cancer to Wellness.

Flag_of_Australia A LAKE Macquarie woman whose ‘‘aggressive’’ breast cancer spread to various parts of her body including her spine and lungs credits her remarkable recovery to cannabis oil. Awaba woman Susannah Patch, 44, is one of a growing number  who have treated themselves using an underground network of cannabis oil suppliers. Although she had surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, Ms. Patch says that most of her improvement has come since stopping chemotherapy against the advice of the cancer specialists and continuing with cannabis oil.

The state government is considering allowing the medical use of cannabis for pain relief, pending a clinical trial and a report on the findings…MORE (theherald.com.au)

There is still a long way to go, and more research is needed to determine the limits of cannabis extract medicine’s effectiveness as well as ways to maximize it. However, that’s not stopping some people from self-medicating. One woman, Susannah Patch, was also diagnosed in July 2011  with an invasive  form of breast cancer.  She was eventually pronounced terminal and began taking cannabis oil alongside chemotherapy. After a few months of the combination, she dropped the chemotherapy in favor of a cannabis-only treatment. After over six months, several metastatic areas had regressed or stayed stable, an impressive result for cancer that was pronounced terminal by her doctors.

Medical cannabis advocate Susannah Patch loses her life to breast cancer :'(   https://www.theherald.com.au/story/3824419/oh-susannah-the-column-i-wish-i-never-had-to-write/

Unfortunately, Ms. Patch passed away on March 28, 2016. This was still far more time than she had been given,  and in a world  where new chemotherapy drugs  are  approved      on the basis of extending life for a few additional months, it can still be said that cannabis offered real benefit. The article on her passing stated, “For what it’s worth, Susannah Patch believed that cannabis helped keep her cancer in remission for as long as it was. A friend said ‘it gave her hope’ in the face of a terminal prognosis in 2011.” Indeed, even when cannabis oil does not completely eliminate cancer, it often dramatically extends life and improves quality of life.

Dr. Andrew Katelaris, referred to as “The Pot Doctor,” however, of course…sigh…was   also a doctor of pathology and clinically based medicine and a former medical researcher who has been conducting research on cannabis since 1990. He has risked everything and lost, in order to — grow cannabis  and  convert it into CBD rich oil  to save the lives of adults and children with epilepsy in Victoria, Brisbane and NSW in Australia. But, if you ask him, Dr. Katelaris doesn’t see it that way at all. Despite being deregistered by the Australian medical community since 2005 for his cannabis research, losing his job and income, and subsisting on unemployment benefits, he continues with his work.
.
I always thought of Australia as being a liberal nation, similar to Great Britain, with its national health care system. Like Great Britain I figured medical marijuana had been legal in Australia for years. Was I wrong. Despite 91% of Australians favoring legalized medical cannabis, it is illegal, although the ban on it is about to be lifted through the efforts of a few individuals, including Dr. Katelaris. To read all about it, here’s the link.
.

He has been arrested dozens of times and charged for a range of drug offenses, although the authorities seem to be leaving him alone, lately. Most people would say he sacrificed his career. He says that THIS IS HIS CAREER. Advancing the cause of medical cannabis. Saving lives. Helping families. He is a revolutionary, civilly disobedient; he felt that there was too much at stake to wait for the draconian drugs laws to change in Australia…too many children would die that could be saved if he stopped growing cannabis plants and making his oil.

.

In 2013, he obtained some CBD rich cannabis seeds from some colleagues in Spain and he started experimenting with the oil which successfully controlled epileptic seizures in children. He grows it in a secret location, behind a wardrobe, and he processes the oil in an ultra sonic cleaner. It takes 100 mg of plant material to produce 4mg of oil. He is a hero to dozens of families with children with epilepsy who had tried every other medical option before they tried cannabis oil. Because Dr. Kateralis was operating outside of the law, families were discovering this life saving treatment through word of mouth. Do you think Dr. Katelaris is a criminal or a hero for breaking the law?

BELOW THESE ARE ANONYMOUS COMMENTS FROM A FORUM!!!
Organic coconut oil seems to be the safest solvent for extracting and consuming cannabis oil. We use a pressure cooker to do this. It’s the base along with the cannabis. Thc is fat soluble so it breaks down in the coconut oil. I jus eat it like this or use it as a skin rub/antibacterial cream. U could add shea butter cocoa butter, vitamin e , essential oils, beeswax, manuka honey to make a salve that’s great for nearly any skin condition. The basic coconut oil/cannabis helps just about anything anyway but some people like a thick paste like salve that stays in place and absorbs well.

Interesting, would like to hear more, amount of medicine to oil ? Dosing ? This seems like something I could do in my slow cooker in the kitchen with no fear of explosive fumes.
.
The only way to know for sure that your oil is properly prepared for maximum healing of serious diseases, is to re-cook the oil disc after you cool it and remove it from the water, until all bubble activity is stopped. This should be done after you remove the coconut oil disc from the water. Recooking it also removes the mold producing moisture presence. Recooking or decarboxilating your oil converts the THC-a to psychoactive, healing THC.
.
Swallowing the oil will deliver less than 10% of the total to healing effects. In 30 minutes most of the cannabinoids are absorbed through the mouth lining. The oil kills the bacteria, but swallowing is an option as only about 10% of the total cannabinoids are left in the oil after 30 minutes in the mouth. Oral dosing (swallowing a dose) gets largely destroyed by stomach acids, whereas, anal dosing gets largely destroyed by the liv. Oral absorption delivers 90% to healing effects.
 .
There are hepatic portal veins in the anus that deliver blood directly to the liver, where there are enzymes are ready to destroy most of the cannabinoids. We can sometimes overcome this effect by taking 15 mls of fat or veg oil 20-30 minutes before each dose. This busys the liver enzymes allowing most of the cannabinoids to pass the liver without much destruction. This method however, does not seem to work for everyone. Maybe some have improper oil or dose incorrectly. But if you don’t deal with the liver enzymes, they will consume the THC, converting it to oh11 THC and will be consumed, creating extreme euphoria. Euphoria is a poor test of healing because the cannabinoids get all used up creating the euphoria, ending their healing journey.
 .
Pressure cooker 2 to 3 hours best way IMO. I’ve tried crockpot, stove top, double boiler, oven, magic machine, and simply time.

Tropical Traditions has the best quality cocco oil that I know of. I order in 5 gallon buckets. Www.tropicaltraditions.comManage America’s Best Source for Buying Coconut Oil – Healthy Traditions healthytraditions.com   I haven’t used coconut oil for RSO but have heard of many others doing it. Have you been able to get a potency test on it? I would be very curious as to the results.  The only potency test I’ve done is to compare the results of coconut oil extracted cannabis oil with synthetic solvent extractions by effect. One pound of bud made into coconut oil is as potent and healing for my PTSD as an equal amount of solvent extractions. In other words, I get as effective a dose, and just as many total doses per pound of bud using coconut oil as the solvent, as I do using iso alcohol as my extraction solvent. That being said, I do find that I rest better when using coconut oil as my solvent of choice when making healing cannabis oil.
If you’ve been using isopropyl to make medicine?   It saddens, and angers, me to see such practices condoned in the Cannabis community… Well in the “Crooked Cannabis community” more appropriately. Because those of us with ethics and education and a focus on making medicine that can be called medicine are not happy to be grouped with those who take cheap and unsafe shortcuts to produce a product that benefits the wallet of the producer and slowly poisons the recipient. I’ll stick with Everclear and a clear conscience. There WILL be a day where folks who knowingly produce toxic Cannabis products, will be held accountable legally, and mold, pesticides, solvent residue and fertilizer filled “medicine” will be a thing of the past. As the trash, that has inundated the Cannabis industry, gets taken out.

This stuff works great as a topical as well as for ingestion. We like to make  capsules out    of it. The caps can be ingested or broke open to use as a topical. When the above recipe is followed, it usually comes out about 50% activated. In other words there is THCA and THC present.  As well as CBDA and CBD depending on strains used.  This is what we like to call a true full spectrum oil when made with a variety of strains and activated about half way.  It is quite simply BAD ASS STUFF. In regards to cost and effect…there is no better formulation in my opinion

 Cannabis infused coconut oil:

1) Start with dry material. There is no need to grind this material up in our opinion.      The more you handle your material, the more trichomes you knock off. We prefer to use a variety of strains.  By doing this  and activating or decarboxylating 50% of the cannabinoids to maintain THCA and CBDA  along  with  the THC and CBD is a true    full spectrum oil for that is great for almost any condition. https://herb.co/decarboxylation/

2) We use 1-2 oz of cannabis to 1 pint of organic, cold pressed, coconut oil. Quality trim      is perfect for this. Quality is the key.

3) Put 2 oz of cannabis, 2 pints of coconut oil, and 4-5 pints of water into a pressure cooker. 15 lbs. of pressure on high.

http://www.amazon.com/Presto-6-Quart-Stainles…/…/ref=sr_1_2…

4) Cook on medium high heat (there is water in there so it won’t get much over 212 until that is gone) for 1.5 to 2 hours. This will make 30%-50% decarboxylated or activated oil. THCA being converted into THC. CBDA being converted into CBD. To get the temperature up higher if our goal is full activation, we need to run it until the weight on top begins to wobble less vigorous or the pressure of the steam coming out lessens.

This means the water is running out and our temperature will go far above the 212 of boiling water. At this point all of the THCA and CBDA is converted into THC or CBD.    This defines it as 100% activated or decarboxylated oil.

5) Remove from stove and strain out the cannabis with a collandar. Then strain through     a permanent coffee filter or cheese cloth. Panty hose or a tshirt would work too. Strain the cannabis well, squeeze out the oil as much as possible.  Filtering more than once is a good idea. WE like to strain it at least one more time upon completion.  (After we take it out of the fridge to dump the water out.) This helps assure a good clean and smooth oil.

6) Put this oil into mason jars upside down in the fridge over night to separate the oil      and water. When you open the jar, the water will be on top now.

7) Scrape off the little bit of brown stuff.

8) Place in a warm bowl of water to melt the oil for use or to place in capsules.

9) Send Uncle Pete a note with feedback. 🙂

1) THC:CBD ratio.  Controlling this ratio allows us to adjust treatments accordingly.     Some much prefer a high CBD to get started with due to less anxiety and high from the oil. Most find that some THC is required for desired effects.

2) Activation or decarboxylation : We can make oil that is 0% activated all the way          up to 100% activated. In most cases we prefer a fully decarbed or activated oil, especially when dealing with cancer.  But….in some cases….we have found  partially activated oils (THCA and CBDA still present) are more effective for some cases involving inflammation.

Above is the result of countless batches of oil and tests. It is all based on first hand experience and 100% accurate to the best of our knowledge. It took me years to figure these things out and have countless people before me to thank for this knowledge.

Everything we have learned has been known for hundreds of years. We are just          blessed enough to combine research information with first hand experience with   countless patients treating themselves with cannabis for a variety of conditions.

I am happy to share this information and ask that you share it freely.  Recipes like           this should be passed down from generation – to – generation and never invaded by profiteers or any other greedy interests.   Take control of your own treatment and        make your own oils. It really is this simple.

MY EXPERIENCE: Rosa’s Story!!!

Rosa was so desperate to find an answer that she would try anything. My feeling is she found the answer to her cancer in the UK with Lemon Haze and serrapeptase which showed her. .  . the best result. How ever with the anxiety to save her life completely: that feeling drove her to Oregon to find the next best thing because through her own emotions and personality she wanted it all revealed to her.
There in Oregon she went to Mike Mullen and Jenifer Valley whom uses dyed capsules that Rosa thought made the tumor in her uterus increase in size  http://gro4me.com/ Our second trip was to Eugene Oregon to see Sean Beaman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_t7nQ6TLE4 who was a RSO disciple who Rosa also found on her own. Sean laugh at Stoney Girl and thought she was a Marketing Queen. I wondered about his solvent which he was reluctant to say what he uses
When I left Rosa in Portland she was doing 3 grams of Beaman’s oil a day and I told Rosa, “I thought that was to much.” And was mixing the strains from Stoney Girl :'(         and was feeling good about her chances and going to see Jeremy Plumb on Tuesday.
https://www.farmapdx.com/tag/jeremy-plumb/  I thought she was on her healing path but when she returned home to Brighton UK  had a seizure and lost her battle 4 months later. I seen her stress and felt her financial strain cannabis caused her and thought does  it really cure or is it an evil ?

Lab test on Naphtha cannabis oil

Deals in Mineral Oil, White Oil, Xylene, Naphtha, Cellulose Ethers, Resins, Benzene, Paraffin Oil…

“If you live in the USA then you won’t be getting the right Naphtha, “The correct naphtha is NOT sold in the U.S.A. Not at Tractor Supply or Home Depot or Lowes or even Sherwin Williams. All naphtha made in the USA can not be trusted because of the loose regulation on ingredients in this type of solvent. You will never get pure naphtha in the USA, even the vm&p can be completely inconsistent from one bottle to the next and isn’t even advertised as pure.

In Canada they make pure naphtha and it is the best solvent to use compared to ISO or Grain alcohol,  don’t make a huge mistake and waste meds  or even worse make yourself      or someone else even more sick by using the wrong solvent. Be warned the naphtha in the USA will even make an oil that looks completely as it should but will make you very sick.”   ~ Chase Abanatha

— The fact that pure aliphatic naphtha does not seem to be sold in the USA does not    mean that pure aliphatic naphtha with CAS number 64742-49-0 and a boiling point around 60-80°C does not exist or that it does not produce a better oil than most other solvents, when used properly.

But I would still not give up – light naphtha or similar solvents are used to extract oils  from plants, so I would check with vegetable oil producers and see what they use.

Where I live in Europe, I can buy the solvent in practically every hardware or paint store,  it is one of the most common technical liquids I remember from my childhood, we used it to degrease bicycle chains etc., practically everyone had a bottle of it at home.

So this whole neverending debate about solvents seems a bit ridiculous to me. When you use the right light naphtha, there is no solvent residue one would have to be concerned about, maybe a few ppm, just like in most cheap vegetable oils that are often produced with almost exactly the same solvent as what we recommend. JB

Methods: They differ per Country, so maybe have people write what works?

If you cannot get pure light naphtha, 99% or even better 99.9% isopropyl alcohol would   be our second choice.  So Why not use 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol  to get your oil extract?        It is anhydrous and will boil off easy in a crock pot, with a fan blowing across the top to keep the vapors down and bam you got Cannabis Hemp oil.

Can someone explain exactly why ISO is so toxic? I don’t ask this to be combative, it is because anything over 75% is unavailable for 1000 miles from here and can’t be shipped, except ISO  which  is  99%.  The process itself,  if done properly, should vaporize 99% or more of the ISO and decarbing should remove all but the smallest trace.

Furthermore, according wikipedia, ISO is far less toxic than methyl alcohol and it takes about 15g injested and untreated, to harm the average human and can be metabolized in small amounts. So I ask what is the harm considering it would be very difficult to get a toxic dose even if large quantities of RSO were ingested all at once.

I would like to say toxic compounds are used to extract legal cannabis ( food products)     all the time … some examples are freon,  propane,  butane,  hexane,  isopropyl alcohol, peptane.  None of these should be ingested or smoked. The consumer should be hyper aware but many are not.  Ethanol is a non toxic solvent . . . . so is CO2,  however,  CO2 originates from petroleum refining (so it’s a petroleum product too). With toxicity and   the environment in mind – only ethanol really makes sense to me as a scientist.

Ethanol is the solvent. It Extracts the components from the plant. The ethanol is boiled  off. Most lab tests show undetectable levels. If people make a tincture of the cannabis oil,  it is usually with olive or MCT oil, not alcohol.  Also Ethanol extracted cannabis oil is full spectrum unlike a CO2 extraction. When you take cannabis oil,  you are not consuming alcohol.

It’s actually supposed to be consumed with fats. Any kind of fat really, cause Cannabis        is fat soluble,  not water soluble.  That said,  some extracts,  using high proof booze and   other methods, don’t contain oil, so you would consume it with maybe toast with butter,   or whatever. Coconut oil is a popular opinion, cause it works well. Fats also enhance the Cannabis oil absorption.  Some edibles have this already in the recipes and it’s why they work well with Cannabis. Butter in Cookies, oil in brownies, that kind of thing. You can even make Cannabis infused cooking oils, wines, beers etc.

Sorry friend. Rick Simpson is the “father” of the use of Cannabis for medicine in these times. I will not define my cannabis oil which I make myself any other way. Yes. I use a solvent and the Rick Simpson directions for making the medicine includes the technique for getting all the solvent out at the end of the process. I am in the process of killing cancer right now. I am using RSO that I made myself with a solvent. Loud and proud!

While he has used what we would think is toxic he suggested,  using pure grain alcohol       or even moonshine if you could get it.  Everclear definitely works the best and wont hurt you and we should promote that and be happy  and not speak badly of a guy who helped thousands of people and did it for free. If his oil was tested and the toxic stuff found in it and he hurt somebody with it then I could see it. I make mine from the video he made on YouTube.

I use Everclear because it works as an acceptable solvent and common sense told me     that I would rather use grain alcohol.  Rick Simpson is a pioneering or re pioneering cannabis advocate and to speak badly of him is petty  and wrong.  Just make it clear           to use Everclear like he has suggested.

Has nothing to do with being P.C. and everything to do with choosing to not be ignorant. Calling something by the wrong title, knowing that there is a correct title is choosing to be ignorant and I believe that Is what is trying to be made the point here. It causes confusion amongst the group, and spreads misinformation (be it inadvertently) causing people who are not well versed in cannabinoid oils to seek out the wrong thing.

Its about the bigger picture people. One could look into RSO and see that the preferred method according to Rick Simpson is using naptha, which is indeed toxic, and not give Everclear a chance. . . . due to it not being the preferred method. It’s also about correct terminology and education of the different solvents than about being p.c.:weedpoke:

Is acetone an acceptable substitute for naptha?

If you mean as non-polar solvent for the common teks, no, it is not. Acetone would pull more things than you want to pull.

How about just a standard paint thinner cause I know VM&P is basically paint thinner?

Maybe The Least Toxic Most Effective Would Be Sonicated Cannabis Oil!!!

Have you heard rumours that people have started using ultrasonic cleaners in natural therapies? You may be wondering if those rumours are true. Well, yes they are. There is an increasing movement towards the production of in-house products that advocates claim have astounding benefits for one’s well-being. And ultrasonic cleaners have a pivotal role in making these products, in Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere. At this point there are two major types of product – liposomal encapsulated vitamin C and CBD.
.
Readers should seek their own professional medical and legal advice when considering these alternative treatments.
One popular supplement is called liposomal encapsulated vitamin C which is rather expensive commercially, but is comparatively cheap if made at home. The literature claims that taken orally, the efficacy of liposomal encapsulated vitamin C is comparable to IV administration. Of course it is also far more convenient. Proponents believe that it is the powerful action of the ultrasonic effect which changes the vitamin C from an expensive secretion, to one that largely bypasses the digestive system, so that it can be retained longer within the body’s tissues, to work its magic.

Sonicating Cannabis with MCT Oil!!!
Benefits of MCT Oil

MCT is Medium-chain triglyceride and it defined as medium or short length fatty acids with about twelve carbon atoms. The MCTs are quickly adsorbed and used by the body. Major sources of MCT oil include palm oil as well as coconut oil. The quick absorption   and digestion of MCT oil leads to various health and physical benefits. https://www.cannabistech.com/articles/a-leap-forward-in-cannabinoid-extraction-with-ultrasonic-techniques/

1. Enhances the immune system
The MCT oil is quite beneficial for ensuring proper health of the immune system, including providing assistance to certain illnesses. The easy absorption of MCT oil      assists to guard against inflammatory bowel diseases like irritable bowel syndrome         and Crohn’s disease. This oil kills all the microorganisms that invade the body and      cause chronic inflammation of the intestines.

 2. Diabetes
One of the vital benefits of MCT oil is that it balances out the levels of blood sugar.         This is very useful for people with diabetes since it assists to sustain energy, which   controls sugar levels. Aside from that, MCT oil promotes proper thyroid function     through enhancing the metabolism. It is also used in the treatment of obesity, mal-absorption and cystic fibroids.

 3. Boosts energy
MCT oil enhances a person’s energy without causing any of the side effects that other stimulants usually bring about.  This is because this particular oil goes directly to the      liver and thus provides instant energy without increasing the intake of food. This type        of energy  is  great  for  bodybuilders and athletes which provides a significant calorie increase.

 4. Increases endurance
MCT oil increases cellular energy and therefore it increases physical endurance as          well. MCT oil can spare glucose and thus assists your glycogen stores to last longer,     which delays fatigue.
Until your body adjusts to the use of MCT oil, it can cause uncomfortable stomach   cramps. If you have a history of liver complications, then you are advised to steer           away from MCT oil.

What Is Decarboxylation, and Why Does Your Cannabis Need It?

All cannabinoids contained within the trichomes of raw cannabis flowers have an extra carboxyl ring or group (COOH) attached to their chain. For example, tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) is synthesized in prevalence within the trichome heads of freshly harvested cannabis flowers. In most regulated markets, cannabis distributed in dispensaries contains labels detailing the product’s cannabinoid contents.

THCA, in many cases, prevails as the highest cannabinoid present in items that have not been decarboxylated (e.g., cannabis flowers and concentrates). THCA has a number of known benefits when consumed, including having anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective qualities. But THCA is not intoxicating, and must be converted into THC through decarboxylation before any effects can be felt.
What Causes Decarboxylation?

What Is THCA and What Are the Benefits of This Cannabinoid?

The two main catalysts for decarboxylation to occur are heat and time. Drying and     curing cannabis over time will cause a partial decarboxylation to occur. This is why  cannabis flowers also test for a presence of small amounts of THC along with THCA. Smoking and vaporizing will instantaneously decarboxylate cannabinoids due to the extremely high temperatures present, making them instantly available for absorption through inhalation.

While decarboxylated cannabinoids in vapor form can be easily absorbed in our lungs, edibles require these cannabinoids present in what we consume in order for our bodies to absorb them throughout digestion. Heating cannabinoids at a lower temperature over time allows us to decarboxylate the cannabinoids while preserving the integrity of the material we use so that we may infuse it into what we consume.

At What Temperature Does Decarboxylation Occur?

The THCA in cannabis begins to decarboxylate at approximately 220 degrees Fahrenheit after around 30-45 minutes of exposure. Full decarboxylation may require more time to occur. Many people choose to decarboxylate their cannabis at slightly lower temperatures for a much longer period of time in attempts to preserve terpenes. Many mono and sesquiterpenes are volatile and will evaporate at higher temperatures, leaving potentially undesirable flavors and aromas behind. The integrity of both cannabinoids and terpenoids are compromised by using temperatures exceed 300 degrees F, which is why temperatures in the 200’s are recommended.

Heat and time can also cause other forms of cannabinoid degradation to occur.  For  an example, CBN (cannabinol) is formed through the degradation and oxidization of THC, a process that can occur alongside decarboxylation. CBN accounts for a much more sedative and less directly psychoactive experience.

How to Decarboxylate Cannabis at Home

In order to decarboxylate cannabis at home, all you need is some starting material,            an oven set to 220-235 degrees F (depending on your location and oven model), some parchment paper, and a baking tray. Finely grind your cannabis until the material can      be spread thin over parchment and placed on your baking sheet. Allow the cannabis to bake for 30-45 minutes, or longer if desired.

Cannabis can also be decarboxylated in a slow cooker by introducing solvents such as cooking oils or lecithin. These methods create infusions that can be used in a variety of cooking recipes, topicals, and even cannabis capsules. Since they contain decarboxylated cannabinoids, they will be effective any way you choose to consume them.

How to Make Your Own Cannabis-Infused Coconut Oil Capsules

Here is a little secret that science has recently discovered for the marijuana community: See the source imageEating fresh mangoes or even drinking a fresh mango smoothie one hour prior to ingesting cannabis oil will dramatically increase the euphoric feelings felt by marijuana and help medical marijuana patients to ease their pain even more so and bring out the cannabinoid .
This is because a chemical compound known as myrcene terpenes, which is most often used for fragrances, can be found within cannabis and marijuana as well as many other various plants such as lemon grass, hops, and of course mangoes. This is why these types of plants of such rare and unique types of odors and aromas. Once ingested the chemical compound, or myrcene terpenes, assists the psychoactive substance THC by allowing it to pass through the Blood Brain Barrier (BBB) at much faster speeds with much more efficiency. The time it takes for the THC to have an effect on the brain after inhalation is roughly seven seconds however, by eating a mango up to one hour prior to smoking the time it takes for THC to reach the brain and have an effect could be cut in half. As well as the length of the high and its time duration could be up to twice as long.
Individuals who have eaten a mango, digested it, and then ingest cannabis have noted that the euphoric feelings felt by marijuana are alarmingly much more intense. This is perfect for medical marijuana patients who would like an increased amount of pain relief. It is important to note the different speeds in metabolism for those who are attempting to try this experiment. This is because individuals who have faster metabolisms may need to ingest a bit more than those who do not have as fast of a metabolism as well as individuals with slower metabolisms may need to ingest a mango or mango smoothie up to an hour and a half prior to ingesting cannabis oil. This will help ensure that the myrcene terpenes found within mangoes have been properly digested and will have an effect.
What else is great about this interesting scientific fact is eating mangoes is another great way for the human body to receive additional amounts of vitamins and nutrition and it helps individuals avoid eating foods that are high in cholesterol or trans fats. Eating too many fatty foods when the ‘munchies’ occur can be harmful and even detrimental to an individual’s health. So be sure to stay healthy and to eat healthy whether smoking marijuana recreationally or medicinally.

Green Tea is rich in catechins, and while they are not technically considered part of the cannabinoid family, they are what scientists call “cannabimimetic.”
That basically means they behave the same way cannabinoids do inside your body. A 2010 study found that green tea has an affinity for the endocannabinoid system (ECS) which will help clean and activate cannabinoid receptors. https://vimeo.com/111259664
https://www.facebook.com/notes/gregory-karl-davis/activating-cannabinoid-receptors/397609560259679

Q: What is the endocannabinoid system (ECS)?

A: Discovered in the early ‘90s, The ECS is one of the most important physiologic systems involved in establishing and maintaining human health.
The body actually contains numerous specialized cannabinoid receptors in the brain and other organs such as the liver, kidneys, and lungs, as well as in the immune and nervous systems. In addition, our bodies naturally produce cannabis-like compounds known as endocannabinoids. The cannabinoid receptors, along with our self-made endocannabinoids and the enzymes that regulate their production and degradation, collectively make up the ECS.
Endocannabinoids function as “messengers” that communicate via the cannabinoid receptors to regulate numerous physiological and mental processes including appetite, sensation to pain, mood, and memory. The system’s interconnectedness and regulation     of so many crucial functions are believed responsible for its wide therapeutic potential.
The catechins in tea bind with receptors the same way cannabinoids from weed do.

See the source image As a result, tea has anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective qualities—just like cannabis.  Interestingly,  cannabis  isn’t the only plant that produces cannabinoids. There are a handful of plants other than cannabis that are high in healing cannabinoids. Many of  them also have chemicals that behave exactly like cannabinoids.

Green tea leapfrogs & cannabis oil is an EXCELLENT combo. Plus, green tea brings        you out of the drowsy weed comedown and gets rid of the eyelid drooping sleepiness,     and then you just blaze again! Green tea it’s one of the healthiest things you can drink
Cannabinoids are transformation products what we have discovered so far only in cannabis. But further on we recognized  they do not exist exclusively as Cannabinoids       in Hemp. After we discovered those Cannabinoids and begin them to study, it was recognized that in the human body there are receptors for the Cannabinoids and so          we discovered a part of our nervous system, and named it Endocannabinoid system.

The medicinal applications of CBD go way beyond pain relief. It has also been proven    that cannabis and the CBD in hemp are highly effective in producing the neuroprotective effect. Not only does it offer the antioxidant capabilities, but the anti-inflammatory property of CBD is at least twice as strong as hydrocortisone, and as much as twenty   times as compared to the effect of an over the counter pain reliever.

Bailey enjoys sharing what he has learnt and connecting with people as a motivational speaker.

Cancer survivor Jake Bailey reveals the real struggles  video

LAURA BAKER  Last updated 07:55, May 10 2017

Cancer survivor Jake Bailey, who captured the world with his heart-wrenching  speech as head boy of Christchurch Boys’ High School, is releasing a book.

In November 2015, the teenager delivered a speech at his school’s prize~ giving.

It coincided with his 5th day of chemotherapy for Burkitts non-Hodgkinson lymphoma,     a rare and aggressive cancer. If left untreated… he would have died within three weeks. Bailey is in remission and is working to teach others the lessons he learnt while facing death.

Jake Bailey: What Cancer Taught Me, offers a unseen side of the teenager.
Bailey’s new book has given him closure on his battle with cancer
The teen says he found closure in writing the book

“It helped me to overcome those memories . . . It was an important part of closure.”

A ghostwriter worked with the now 19-year-old to piece together a collection of ideas he wrote during his three-month stay in the isolation room at Christchurch Hospital’s bone marrow transplant unit.
It reveals some of his darkest moments during the battle with stage four cancer in his kidneys, eye sockets, nasal passage, brain membrane, bone marrow, spinal fluid, cheek and jaw.
“The book shows a much more human side of me than perhaps the orchestrated, edited version of me you might see in interviews. It’s a very stripped-back, real, honest account  of what life was like before, during and after my cancer.”

When doctors told him he was in remission, he did not feel “happy, lucky, empowered       or strong or brave”.
“I felt like the battle was only really beginning, because my life had been tipped upside down.”
Ahead of the private book launch this Friday, Bailey flew into his hometown from           the  Gold Coast where he now lives leading a career as an inspirational speaker.
Since making the famous speech that launched him into the public spotlight Bailey         has delivered more than 40 motivational speeches at schools and corporate events            in  New Zealand and Australia.
“I feel really passionate about helping other people… I really enjoy sharing what               I’ve learnt and connecting with people . . . I’ve found it incredibly rewarding.

“My favourite part is having people come up and talk to me after and say ‘you’ve      changed my outlook’ . . . that’s the coolest thing in the world I reckon.”
Living a healthy lifestyle and staying in remission is his top priority. He is not afraid           to admit that he did not treat his body well before his diagnosis.
“I think it’s important to acknowledge that and to tell other people my age to look              at how they are treating their bodies.”
Today, he is careful with what he eats, puts an emphasis on exercise and gets plenty           of rest.
Bailey said he learnt to “look for the little bits of beauty and the awesome moments            in every day”.

“Happiness is the special moments you spend with friends or family in a normal week.”

JAKE BAILEY had just found out the most aggressive form of cancer known to science   was ravaging through his body when he gave this inspiring, heart-breaking speech to his classmates.

”Then they told me I wouldn’t be here tonight to deliver that speech”‘: Mr Bailey is undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatments, and was allowed a surprise break         from the hospital.  “‘Here’s the thing,  none of us get out of life alive,  so be gallant,            be great, be gracious and be grateful for the opportunities you have.”

The Real Caroline Found From ‘The Miracle Season’ Will Leave You So Inspired

Sports movies are almost always inspirational. But add a new entry to the list.

The Miracle Season, may be the most inspirational yet, as it tells the true story of a high school volleyball team moving on after the tragic death of their leader, Caroline Found. But the tale of the real Caroline Found from The Miracle Season is somehow even more amazing than the film.

Image result for live like line shirt                                                                      The movie stars Helen Hunt as Kathy Bresnahan:

Coach of the Iowa City West High women’s volleyball team, and is based on the book        of  the same name by Bresnahan. Under Bresnahan, the team won the state title in 2010 behind the strong play of their  team captain,  Caroline “Line” Found,  stated before the 2011 season that the team would repeat as state champs, according to the Iowa City Press-Citizenhttp://www.thegazette.com/2011/08/12/iowa-city-girl-killed-in-moped-crash

As for those who had the pleasure of knowing Liner, creating the film was about capturing her exuberance and zest for life. How she led by example and took nothing or no one for granted. “[Line] made everyone feel like they were needed and loved. She made you feel like you were the most important person in the world,” recalls Bresnahan.

Following Line’s death, friends and teammates adopted the motto, “Live like Line” to honor her abundant life. These three words, which were printed on T-shirts, and bracelets provided the hope  and motivation for those grieving Line’s death.  It served as a rallying cry to never give up.

Star Player’s Death Devastates Team 🙁

Caroline died in a bike accident on her way home from church, making it a painful and trying season for her teammates.

CBN News sat down with Caroline’s father and volleyball coach ahead of the film’s release.

Kathy Bresnahan,  Caroline’s coach, told us, “She was larger than that in life.  She      really was. I mean every 20 years or so, as a teacher,  or every decade you find that one really special unique person, and that was Caroline.  None of it is exaggerated.  She was  that special of a kid.” “My job as a coach was to help them through. That was it. Whether we stepped on the court in a uniform again, my job was to help them heal. And so that is how we approached each day. It was hard,” Bresnahan recalled.

Found (9), who averaged 10.0 assists per game for West’s 2010 Class 4A state-championship squad, earned honorable-mention all-state honors. In the end, the memory of this remarkable young life pushed the Trojans to an unexpected second championship  in 2011.

Without their leader and star player, the team struggled mightily early in the season before rallying around the memory of their fallen teammate, ultimately triumphing unexpectedly and winning the state title again in 2011 — just like Line said they would.

So now that you know the incredible real life story behind the film, what is there to      know about the young woman who inspired it all?  “What I remember the most about Caroline was her smile … her smile and her laugh,”  Caroline’s father Ernie Found said, according  to The Gazette of Cedar Rapids, IA.  “Caroline could make light of something despite of how serious it might be at the moment in order to make everybody feel better.”

Ernie: ‘I Felt God’s Presence’ Despite Multiple Losses

Caroline’s father,  Ernie Found, not only suffers the loss of his daughter to tragedy,           but he also loses his wife to pancreatic cancer not long after Caroline’s untimely death.

At one point in the film, Ernie’s character says, “God hasn’t exactly shown up for me.” Found told CBN News that line, “was Hollywood.”

He continued, “That was a script. That was never something that entered my mind, because I felt His presence in a variety of ways.”

Bresnahan interjected, telling a story about the night of Ernie’s wife’s visitation,                  “I am saying ‘I am so sorry Ernie’. And he says, ‘Brez, my life has been blessed.’                 So, he felt God was there the whole way. He never wavered from that.”

“There was no chance of forfeiting the season [after Line passed]. That would have       been disrespectful to Caroline even  to consider the notion  of not having a season,” Bresnahan says. Ernie Found (portrayed by William Hurt in the film), Line’s father, tearfully recalled her birth on Father’s Day as his fondest memory of his daughter.          But it’s the way that she inspired everyone around her that makes him proudest.              “All she ever wanted to do was put a smile on someone else’s face,” Found says.

The film closes with Line’s best friend Kelly Fliehler (Erin Moriarty) discovering her      own self-worth as she steps up as a team leader. Eventually,  Fliehler lead the squad to their  second straight title,  which they dedicated to Line.  Bresnahan  is  optimistic  the    “The Miracle Season”  will inspire young audiences to  “Live Like Line” in their everyday lives. “Embrace each other because when you have the power of a group, we are so much stronger than we are as individuals,” says Bresnahan.

Hunt agrees, adding, “circling up with other women is how I survived some of my most difficult times. There’s power in sisterhood.

Found was also an inspiration to her peers, showing wisdom beyond her years.        “Simply, Caroline has inspired me to be a better person. She taught me to love a little harder, laugh a little more, and not to fret the small stuff,” Found’s former teammate      and friend, Ally Disterhoft, told The Gazette. “I think her story has inspired hundreds        of other people as well, and that is truly amazing.  I am a better person today because          I knew Caroline.  To know her was to love her,  I feel really blessed to have had the opportunity to do both.”

Found was born June 19, 1994 in Iowa City, and she passed away on Aug. 11, 2011. According to her obituary from Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, “Caroline’s  her greatest pleasures  were the people she met  and the relationships she grew.”  Her obituary also states that, in addition to her widely-known skills on the volleyball court, “Caroline had a bounty of amazing gifts, chief of which was her ability to make others smile. She lit up the world with her enthusiasm, her vibrant spirit made her a friend to everyone.”

An ESPN profile of Found by Walter Villa also sheds more light on the type of outgoing and fun-loving person Found was, stating that she “was a compassionate classmate who wouldn’t let a shy kid eat lunch alone. She was a mischievous student who once ordered pizza while serving detention for a minor infraction. She was a gregarious girl who made friends — even of opposing players — everywhere she went.”

Given how friendly, loving, and caring Caroline Found was, it’s no wonder that even after her death she was still able to inspire her old team to rise up against all odds and become champions in her memory.

She was also a mischievous student who once ordered pizza while serving detention for a minor infraction.  She was a gregarious girl who made friends — even of opposing players — everywhere she went.

“Half the time, I couldn’t find her for pregame warm-ups because she was talking with    the girls on the other team,” said Iowa City West High volleyball coach Kathy Bresnahan. “She was irreverent, funny and spontaneous. She was in with the popular crowd, and yet she embraced everyone.”

                                                                                      Caroline Slocum Found (1994-2011)

A 5-foot-10 setter, Found led West to its first state title in 2010 and was eager to repeat    as a senior in 2011. But around 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 11, the 17-year-old was riding a moped home from a church youth meeting when she struck a curb and lost control. Found, who was not wearing a helmet,  crashed into a tree and was killed upon impact,  police said.   “It still doesn’t seem real,” said Hannah Infelt, a senior middle blocker at West. “I’m still waiting for her to pop out and say it was a prank.”

Current and former players struggled with their emotions in the wake of the tragedy.    West graduate Alli O’Deen,  a freshman outside hitter  for  the University of Iowa, said      she “fell to the ground and lost it” when she heard the news about her former teammate.

Two players called Bresnahan at 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 12 to break the news, and the coach says her phone rang nonstop for the next several hours. By 7 a.m., the team had gathered for practice — only to find several hundred West students  also sobbing  on the court in a darkened gym. Bresnahan invited them to share their favorite memories of their friend. Then they wrote letters to Found, which Bresnahan has kept in a sealed box.

“I just wrote ‘I love you’ over and over,” Infelt said. Later that morning, 100 of Found’s friends walked hand-in-hand  to the crash site.  They hung a No. 9 jersey — Found’s now-retired number — in the tree she struck, laid flowers and prayed. At the next day’s practice, the girls couldn’t jog more than half a lap before falling to the floor in tears. “The little time we practiced was spent ball-handling and not on any in-system plays,” Bresnahan said. “We didn’t want more reminders that we didn’t have our setter running the show.”

Four days after the accident, thousands attended the visitation for Found inside the     West High gym, including several rival teams and the entire University of Iowa volleyball squad.  Tragedy struck again  when Ellyn Found — Caroline’s mother — died on Aug. 23. Ellyn, who had been suffering from pancreatic cancer since April, was 55. was survived by her husband, Ernie, son Gregg, 25, and daughter Catharine, 22.

Infelt said she and her teammates tried to support the Found family as best they could. “But it was like they were giving us support,” Infelt said.

Ernie Found, whose voice still breaks when he speaks about Caroline and Ellyn, said he was happy to help because “running away from the situation wasn’t going to do any good.” He notes that Caroline shared many of her best qualities with her mother.  “She was able to inspire people and bring them together,” said Ernie.

The West players were touched by the love shown by rival teams. Opponents wore bracelets or shirts that read “Live Like Line,” a nod to Found’s nickname. A ritual developed in which the West players placed Found’s shoes under an otherwise empty chair.

Senior Kelley Fliehler was made the setter. Three days before the crash, Found had   moved into Fliehler’s house so she could be closer to the hospital where her mother        was being treated. “I was prepared to be strong for her when her mom passed away,” Fliehler said. “But I never expected anything to happen to Caroline.”

Then again, little of what happened this past season was expected. Despite missing       their star setter and spiritual leader, the Women of Troy battled all the way to the state final on Nov. 12, where they faced another significant challenge in rival Iowa City High.

West lost the first two sets of the title match and faced another seemingly insurmountable deficit.  “I was just hoping not to lose 3-0,”  Bresnahan said.  But the West players battled back to force a fifth set. Four times Iowa City took one-point leads, including match point at 14-13 — but missed a serve each time, reinforcing the notion that fate had intervened on West’s behalf. West had two failed match points of its own before senior Shelly Stumpff’s kill clinched the championship

At the trophy ceremony, West players held up a portrait of Found. Fittingly, the song       that played over the loudspeaker was “Sweet Caroline.”

“That was the perfect way to end the season,  because she loved that song,”  Fliehler         said. “Winning state a second straight year made her dream come true. We did it for her. We felt like she was still with us.”     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGEK6swDBHo

You Can Heal Yourself!

Within your physical body you have everything you need to heal, whether this is in terms of maintaining ongoing health and longevity, overcoming the flu, or recovering from a more serious injury or state of disease.

Each of the many cells making up your physical body are able to heal from the inside out. Your body has the innate knowing how to repair injuries, reverse abnormal cells, release toxins, eliminate infections and keep you healthy.

So if your body can heal itself… Why aren’t you completely vibrant, full of health and well being at all times?…

The simple truth is that your physical self healing ability is tied to your mental, emotional, and spiritual being. Negative thinking, toxic emotions, and external density can block the natural healing flow of your energy body.

Stress, despair, guilt and grief, and even loneliness or boredom shift your vibration out of one which supports self healing. With this basic understanding, it’s no surprise that self healing abilities get blocked from time to time, or often for certain people, and we experience sickness, possibly lowering our standards  of what it means to “feel good” over time.

The good news is that with awareness, you can shift the script.

Here are some simple tips to start unblocking the flow of energy healing through your body. You have more control that you may realize in creating your life experience. By being proactive in terms of your activating your bodies self healing ability, you can move in the direction of increased wellness, recovery, and prevention.

heal thyself

While self healing is very real, I’m not saying to stop going to the doctor, or taking your antibiotics if you have an infection… But supplementing what you’re already doing to heal with the power of your mind, body and spirit can’t hurt and it very well may help so check out the tips and start taking action to heal yourself now.

Four Tips to Invite Self Healing Back Into Your Life

1. Believe You Can Heal Yourself

Your belief around your bodies ability to heal itself directly influences the result you experience. Leverage the placibo effect to your advantage by believing you’re getting better using whatever remedies you’ve decided upon, and your belief will manifest and make it so. If you buy into any diagnosis that what you’re experiencing is “incurable” or “chronic”, this will be your experience. Do whatever you need to stay focused on your complete and total healing, releasing doubt and fear into the light, and returning to feeling, knowing, and believing that you are healthy and well. Come up with a plan for your healing, believe it will work and stick with it, and you really can heal yourself.

2. Leverage Support

To help keep you positive, and progressing forward on your path of healing, leveraging the support of others is essential. As Albert Einstein said, “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.” So to solve your problem of needing healing, connect with someone who can provide support mentally, emotionally, and energetically.

There are many talented energy healers you may want to leverage on your self healing journey. It’s also a great idea to take in positive information through books about self healing, stories of others who have healed (check out the Spontaneous Remission Project), and get involved with people and activities who inspire you believe that yes, you can heal yourself. Here on Ask-Angels.com, Sheelagh offers Angel Healing Readings to support you on your healing journey.

 3. Identify the Root Cause

With this step I’m not talking about buying into any diagnosis about what you’re experiencing… But rather, take time to go within to identify the core emotions, feelings, and actions which may have led to your feeling less than vibrant. Any disease or injury offers an opportunity to increase awareness… What’s really going on in your life that triggered this challenging state of being?

Get honest with yourself as you review your choices leading up until now… Not judge         or make yourself feel bad but rather to become aware of where you can make different choices that you have been,  to create a more positive result.  When illness strikes you     have the choice to fall into victim-hood,  or to step into awakening,  awareness, and forward movement on your path of healing.

4. Invoke Angelic Assistance and Honor Your Intuition

Archangel Raphael and your team of healing angels are on hand to assist you in peeling back the layers of density present in your energetic being, to allow your vibrant, radiant, natural state of well being to shine through. To invoke the healing energy of Archangel Raphael and your team of healing angels, simply think or say, ‘Archangel Raphael and      the healing angels of light, please surround me in healing energy. Help me to clear my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual being from negativity in all it’s forms.

Release any dense or toxic energy within my being into the light, and help me to stay grounded, centered, and present in the energy of love. Help me to startmaking healthy choices in the present moment to restore my natural, radiant, state of well being.” When you invoke the healing light of the angels and of Archangel Raphael, you will receive help. Often in the form of seeing the steps you can take to heal yourself. Be sure to act upon any intuitive nudges you receive. You may also want to simply ask your body what it needs to heal, and then take action to bring yourself into alignment with the positive state you seek.

Once you’ve committed to healing yourself, relax and surrender the final outcome to the Divine. Take the necessary steps to self heal, but also allow yourself to be present in the moment to reclaim your power to awaken and to find the blessings within your current physical challenges.

Come up with a self healing action plan and stick with it. Be sure to include time for relaxation, meditation, and infuse yourself with positive energy and you move forward     on your self healing journey.

With love and gratitude,
Melanie

Katharina, Medical Intuitive

I want to tell you my story…

When I was 16 years old I had an experience that would change my life forever, I did not know this at the time. I stood in front of a mirror and looked myself deeply in the eyes.  Suddenly out of nowhere I heard a voice saying “Who Are You?” I was not sure if this voice came from within myself or from somewhere else.

When I gazed into my own eyes. I suddenly disengaged from perceiving myself as the familiar “me,  but experienced myself as the timeless soul I truly was. I then was catapulted into a completely different, but at the same time, an incredibly familiar reality.  I saw at a very deep level that everything who I thought I was was false.  That in realty who I was had nothing to do with my personality, looks or achievements, but that     I was an eternal soul.

This experience only lasted for a minute  or so but it felt like an eternity.  I had peered through the veil of illusion but it came so instantaneously, so forcefully and so out of nowhere that it was a huge shock for me.   I didn’t know what to make of it and I felt I could not share it with anyone out of fear of being labeled crazy. So I buried it deep inside of me.

A few years later I was also diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases caused not only by radioactivity poisoning from the Chernobyl nuclear accident (I was a child playing outside in Austria the day the radioactive fallout occurred) but also from not living from the deep truth I had seen.

My doctor told me that there was nothing that could be done. He then proceeded to show me the worst case scenario pictures of people with the same conditions, telling me that this is what my life will look like.  I remember leaving his office completely devastated,  feeling like I had lost control over my body.

Because I trusted and believed in my doctor, I bought into this type of negative spell and thought that I was powerless. As hard as this experience was at the time, it also led me to the beautiful and exciting life I now have as it catapulted me on a lifelong path of learning and growing. I not only wanted to learn how I could heal myself but I wanted to become a healer and show others how to do the same.

I earned a medical degree and became a family physician in Austria.

I received numerous other certifications in alternative, nutritional and energy medicine.

I studied with indigenous healers in the Amazon rainforest and also had the fortune to have incredible mentors from around the world who have shown me things that would normally take decades to learn. I’m forever grateful for all the things I learned, however  but I still did not understand the true nature of healing.

My biggest healing breakthrough came in 2009 after another powerful spiritual awakening experience lasted for 2 weeks.  Again, it came out of nowhere but this time it was beautiful, liberating and peaceful.

I was more mature and could integrate it into my Being. I realized that the healing I had been searching for my entire life could never be found outside of myself as true healing has to come from within.  I was shown that because we are powerful Beings we can heal ourselves by reconnecting to our souls and thus unleashing the inherent power that is within.

This experience has also allowed me to see and perceive the human energy field, linking    it to health and disease and using this skill to help my clients heal.

I have made it my mission in life to help others awaken to their inner truth to find healing, true happiness and a deep connection with their soul. I would love for you to join me on this amazing adventure.

Dr. Dyer’s works continue to inspire the realizations of greatest truths in our lives.
To have been a single human and  have the natural understanding plus devoted studies      to the “human experience” and share on such an International plane, must have give him great intangible rewards – understanding that soul is Energy, and Energy is eternal.
.
I often think about the positive boosts his soul energy still receives from those of us     whom listen and continue to receive the abundance of great hope, encouragement, and soul rewarding achievements. A true visual of the cycle of energy movements possible from our thoughts and with goodness.  Imagine the greater good we can influence upon our world!!!
Thank you Dr.Dyer for sharing your knowledge & awareness. May your spirit still be evolving…RIP ⚛ 🔆🎶💥

We Are All Creators of This Reality! We have forgotten the divinity that is inside all of us. We are able of achieving miracles but our educational system teaches that matter is the highest there is, however we know better know don’t we? Everything is energy, every emotion or situation is purely energy,  we don’t have senses to sense emotions, but what we do sense is energy.  Ancient civilizations were very well aware of this, and they were master in harnessing and directing energy to they’re will.  We must reclaim this knowledge.  We are not the victims of this reality, we are the creators of it.
We must remember that nature’s natural state is abundance!  When something is lacking in the natural world the eco-system will be out of balance and will not thrive but try to survive.  This is humanity right now,  we are not really living   we are merely surviving. Regain your ancient power and be in charge of your experience here on the physical plane.  http://www.holistic-mindbody-healing.com/mind-healing.html

Many people know that there is truth to behind the theory that thoughts and emotions affect the physical body,  but not many know exactly how it works, or more importantly, how to use this knowledge to affect physical healing.Dina’s story is her raw, real experience which takes readers from the hell of suicidal depression and addiction where  she started, through how out of sheer desperation- she developed the 3×3 meditation technique which has been the key to her physical, mental and emotional healing.
.
The book gives readers concrete steps on how they can use her 3×3 technique to get results in their own lives. Taking   just 9 minutes per day, Dina’s 3×3 meditation has enabled her healing from alcohol and food addiction, regulating high blood sugar and cholesterol, weight loss and even relationships with others. The key is not to be spending hours on end in meditation or visualization practice, but to engage multiple times per day in shorter bursts to consistently interrupt old thought patterns and negative thinking.

What is the feeling that you are feeling. Find the deep rooted question, to receive the             deep rooted answer.  You have just one feeling to heal, but its clouded with many words. How great would it feel to be healed. The soul wants you to go back to being a child, here  is where your pain has been sitting,  this is why the souls journey is a backward journey. Once you go back and heal, you can then start to walk forwards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As0Tewtjir4

10 Reasons To Believe In Yourself —

(Even If No One Else Around You Does)

Natalie Allen

Natalie Allen

1. You know what you are capable of doing. There’s a voice inside you that tells     you that you can do something even if it’s frightening and even if it’s impossible. That voice is usually right and you should trust it.

2. You can easily weed out people’s unwanted opinions. There will always be people bringing you down or telling you that what you want to accomplish is easier said than done, when you believe in yourself, you can easily ignore their words and focus on getting what you want.

3. You only learn when you follow your own judgment.  Whether it was wrong     or right, that’s the only way to learn, when you keep trusting yourself and your judgment, eventually you will get it right without having to question yourself.

4. It makes you stronger. When you believe in yourself, you know how to get through difficult situations and you know how to keep going without breaking down.

5. All the greatest leaders are. The greatest leaders, athletes, singers, and actors         all had one thing in common; they believed in themselves and they never gave up when they were faced with rejection or setbacks. Their self-belief kept them going no matter   how hard things were.

6. You become your own source of motivation. You motivate yourself to do things instead of waiting for someone to push you and you find ways to encourage yourself when no one else is supporting you.

7. You’re more willing to try new things. Believing in yourself gives you power          to take risks or try different things that people full of doubt won’t do. This widens the realm of opportunities and adventures in life and makes your life a lot more exciting.

8. It makes you unafraid of change. You’re not afraid to change your life or turn   your world upside down, you know that you will survive under any circumstances and    you know you have the strength to adapt to difficult situations.

9. You build better relationships. If you don’t trust or believe in yourself, people can’t either. Believing in yourself allows you to build deeper and more meaningful relationships, and not ones based on insecurity or fear. Believing in yourself also helps you set limits with people who could overstep their boundaries and disturb your peace.

10. No one else will. People may tell you they believe in you but they will never do it for you, you’re the only who is capable of holding your own hand…. in the journey of your life, people come and go but you will always have yourself, so you must find a way to believe in it and have unwavering faith that you can become whoever you want to be.

Kick Start Your Immune System

Image may contain: 1 person When Rosa Parkin came   into our Facebook Group on September 27, 2014 she was bedridden with a 8cm tumor in her uterus and with new found Hope and excitement within a few days that tumor shrank and she was out and about walking again. However, on Memorial Day Weekend 2015.

When we finally met I could tell the stress of having cancer was catching up with her.      It’s with great  sadness, we learnt of Rosa’s passing on Sept 6th 2015, at her home in Brighton U.K.

Preview People Come Into Your Life for a Reason

What I learned from my time with Rosa: The best way to combat sickness and  boost your immune system  is to look at finding ways  to boosts through emotional healing,  like  happiness,  as much as  you should work  with physical healing.   Some pundits will not completely jump into the belief system that happiness is the key to better health. However, researchers from …

Stress fuels cancer spread by triggering master gene

Doctors have discovered the ‘stress gene’ ATF3 can make immune cells                  behave  erratically, giving cancer an ‘escape route’ to other areas of the body

Stress fuels cancer by triggering a ‘master switch’ gene which allows the                 disease to spread,  according to new research.

The ‘unexpected’ discovery could lead to the development of drugs that target                   the protein and stop tumours spreading to other organs and causing death.

Stress has long been linked to many forms of the disease including breast                          and prostate cancer, but the reason has remained a mystery.

Stress and cancer metastasis

Now a team at Ohio State University say our own bodies help turn cancer against us          by turning on a ‘master switch’ gene known as ATF3 which is expressed in response          to stressful conditions in all types of cells.

Usually, it causes normal and benign cells to commit suicide if they decide they              have been irrevocably damaged.

But cancer cells somehow coax immune-system cells recruited to the site of a                 tumor to express ATF3.

It is unclear exactly how, but the gene promotes the immune cells to act erratically         and give cancer an escape route to other areas of the body.

Professor Tsonwin Hai said: ‘If your body does not help cancer cells, they cannot        spread as far. So really, the rest of the cells in the body help cancer cells to move,                to set up shop at distant sites. And one of the unifying themes here is stress.’

Her researchers first linked the expression of ATF3 in immune-system cells to             worse outcomes among a sample of almost 300 breast cancer patients.

Experiments on mice then found those lacking the gene had less extensive spread              of breast tumour cells to their lungs than ones that could activate it.

‘The cancer cells were always the same, but we had different hosts. The primary        tumors were similar in size, but only in the host that can express ATF3 – the stress        gene – did the cancer cells metastasize efficiently.

‘This suggests that the host stress response can help cancer to metastasize.

‘If the body is in perfect balance, there isn’t much of a problem. When the body gets stressed, that changes the immune system. And the immune system is a double-edged sword,’ she said.

In general, when cancer cells first appear, the immune system recognises them as      foreign and various immune cells travel to the site to attack them.

Prof Hai said if further research bear out the results ‘the stress gene could one day function as a drug target to combat cancer spread, or metastasis as it is known medically.’

Meanwhile, the results published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation provide important insights into how tumor cells use their signaling power to co-opt the rest           of the body into aiding cancer’s survival and movement to distant organs.

Although the work suggests a drug to dampen ATF3’s effect could lower the risk for metastasis, Prof Hai noted scientists do not fully understand what the overall effects   would be.

She said: ‘We have this gene for a reason. It is a gene that helps us adapt to changes.
So it is a question of how and when to target ATF3.’

How stress affects cancer risk

Chronic stress can have a big impact on your health.

Stress is a part of life. You feel it when you’re preparing for the holidays, stuck in traffic or worrying about a friend’s health. While a little stress is nothing to fret about, the kind of intense worry that lingers for weeks or months may make it hard for you to stay healthy.

“Stress has a profound impact on how your body’s systems function,” says Lorenzo   Cohen, Ph.D., professor of General Oncology and Behavioral Science, and director of       the Integrative Medicine Program at MD Anderson. Health experts are still sorting out whether stress actually causes cancer. Yet there’s little doubt that it promotes the growth and spread of some forms of the disease. Put simply, “stress makes your body more hospitable to cancer,” Cohen says.

Not all stress is equally harmful

There are two different types of stress, and only one seems to be really bad for your health, says Anil K. Sood, M.D., professor of Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine at MD Anderson.

Short-term or acute stress, like the type you might feel before giving a speech or fighting holiday shopping crowds, tends to subside as soon as the event passes. “It’s stress that comes from situations you know you can manage or will be over at some set time,”      Cohen says.

But long-term or chronic stress is more damaging. That type of stress springs from situations that last many weeks or months with no definite end point. “Caring for a sick loved one or dealing with a long stint of unemployment are common causes of chronic stress,” Cohen says.

This type of no-end-in-sight stress can weaken your immune system, leaving you prone     to diseases like cancer.  It also ups your risk  for  digestive problems  and  depression. “Chronic stress also can help cancer grow and spread in a number of ways,” Sood says.

Stress hormones can inhibit a process called anoikis, which kills diseased cells and prevents them from spreading,  Sood says.  Chronic stress also increases the production     of certain growth factors that increase your blood supply. This can speed the development of cancerous tumors, he adds.

Find healthy ways to manage stress

What can you do about stress? Removing the cause is the clear answer. But that’s not always possible when it comes to the types of things that cause chronic stress, Cohen says.

Even if you can’t rid yourself  of  the source of your stress,  you can learn to manage it.      This can help you keep a lid on chronic stress. It also can help you prevent minor sources of stress from lingering to a point where they’re affecting your health. Below, Cohen shares stress-reducing strategies.

Talk to a professional

A psychiatrist or psychologist can teach you healthy ways to manage your stress.

Strategies may include talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). These can help your brain uncover the connections between your thoughts, emotions and behaviors. “CBT can provide you with mental tools to manage the types of worry and anxiety that screw up your immune system and increase your disease risks,” Cohen says.

Practice meditation or yoga

Mindfulness meditation and yoga have been proven to combat stress. These movement-based activities give your mind a break from stress. They also can improve your mood   and quality of life.

Aim for at least two 20-minute periods a day of meditation or similar relaxation techniques, Cohen says. That time shouldn’t include stimulating activities like watching television. “Sit quietly and try to keep your mind off any concerns. Think about visiting your favorite vacation spot or a quiet, safe place like your garden.”

Mediation and yoga also can help your brain soften the links between your thoughts,    your emotions and unhealthy biological changes, he says. Put simply, these practices dampen your brain and body’s reactions to stressful events.

Get adequate sleep

“Getting eight hours of sleep each night is a great defense against stress,” Cohen says. Why? A full night of sleep is essential to proper immune function. It also affects your mood, memory and ability to focus, experts say. Sticking to a regular sleep schedule, avoiding TV in bed and exercising regularly can all help you sleep more soundly.

Take stress seriously

It’s important to understand the negative consequences of stress, especially when it   comes to your cancer risks.  “Chronic stress  is not something anyone in our society  should take lightly,” Cohen says.

If you feel crankier than usual, you don’t have the energy you once had or you’re     sleeping poorly, all of those could be signs of stress, Cohen says. Take steps to fix           your problem before it affects your health in more serious ways.

According to Mental Health America, a national advocacy group, prolonged grief can trigger anxiety attacks and depression. Research has found  about a quarter of people   who lose their spouse experience clinical depression and anxiety in the first year. The emotional impact of grief is often described as “heartache” or “heartbreak,” but the   release of stress hormones associated with grief can cause actual cardiac problems.

“We know a fair amount about how stress affects the cardiovascular and immune   systems, namely by activating both, and in vulnerable people this leads to increased     rates of cardiovascular disease and cancer,” Shear says. “Acute stress can also cause something called stress cardiomyopathy, which is an acute form of cardiac illness.”

One study found that the incidence of an acute heart attack increases 21-fold within         24 hours of the death of a loved one, before declining steadily with each subsequent      day. In another study, British researchers found that older people who are grieving          are more likely to have weakened immune systems and develop infections.

Coping and Treatment

While potential health consequences related to grieving are a serious concern, Shear stresses that grief itself should not be treated as an illness. “Grief is the natural response  to loss and when we lose someone we love, the loss is permanent and impactful, and grief is also permanent,” she says. “No one really gets over an important loss. Grief counselors often talk about positive outcome as finding a ‘new normal.’ ”

Dr. Cacciatore stresses the importance of self-care. “A person needs to take good care of themselves and their grief,” she says. “Sometimes remembering things as simple as eating well and drinking water can improve a person’s quality of life. Even getting 20 minutes of sunshine outside can help.”

RELATED: Managing Grief After the Death of a Loved One

A grief specialist, whether it’s a psychologist or a counselor, can help a bereaved person cope with their emotional and physical symptoms.   “It provides a safe place for people     to   be with their grief and to remember their dead without others pressuring them to be okay,” Cacciatore says.

One of the ways Whiston-Donaldson, 44, copes with her continuing grief is by writing about it on her blog. “My coping methods have been writing, letting myself feel my feelings, and connecting with others who are hurting,” she says.

Shear agrees that sharing and connecting with others is key to finding that new normal following a loss. “We do not grieve well alone,” she says. “Part of the natural adaptive process involves reconnecting with others.

I believe that stress can cause cancer in any case. And I absolutely sure that grief makes people more susceptible to all kinds of illness and I am pretty certain that is really what happens when a couple who have been together for 5 decades die only a short time apart, even when the surviving spouse is in exceptional health for the age. Grief puts intense pressure on a person causing their immune system to be compromised. They would then be more susceptible to disease of all kinds including cancer.   Laurie Schlangen Traub, former Grief Counselor (1999-2016)   Grief can take you with the one you’re grieving.        Pepper McGowan, Writer and Collector of Concurrent Realities at Life on Earth (1975-present.)

Absolutely. My dad left mom (for the second time) and she was left alone … Lymphoma followed in her case. Coincidental you say … yes, maybe … but the immune system battles cancer all the time in my belief system … so stress can play a part in getting cancer.     Michael L. My Number #1 Cancer Question

Over the last 4 years in my Facebook Group the number #1 Question is: How do you    make Cannabis OIL,  which solvent is the best to use  and best strains of weed for the various types of cancer?  https://www.marijuanadoctors.comTreatable Conditions.

However, this does not change the attitude of Big Pharma to enforce their drugs on a open-mouthed public despite their numerous and well documented, harsh side-effects.

The almighty health benefits of cannabis are becoming increasingly accepted in mainstream society and are being bolstered by numerous recent studies.

The Foria Relief Company has even invented a vaginal suppository, based on aromatic cocoa butter, which is a perfect substitution for Vicodin, Midol, and Ibuprofen.

It effectively treats menstrual cramps by relaxing the muscles. Additionally, it does          not lead to psychotropic property.

It is produced from pesticide and additive-free cannabis. Therefore, their active ingredients are used in a process without microbials and are combined with exact       doses; 60 mg of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 10 mg of cannabidiol (CBD).

The pain is blocked by the THC, which inhabits the pleasure areas to the brains cannabinoid system. CBD relaxes the muscles, treats the spasms, and has a favorable  effect on inflammatory mechanisms within the body.

According to a woman who tried the vaginal suppository, it relaxed her clenched and cramped muscles and soothed the pain in her midriff. She explained that she felt the     area below the waist to the thighs “as if floating in some other galaxy”.

Yet, this amazing remedy is only sold in California and is still not approved by the FDA. However, if you decide to use it, make sure you consult your doctor beforehand, even though there have been no complaints from people who have tried it.

Diagnosed With Cancer And Given A Death Sentence

Cannabis is a naturally growing herb that has been used for thousands of years to treat health conditions. The term cannabis is used to describe a product of the of the cannabis Sativa plant that is bred for its potent, sticky glands that are known as trichomes. These trichomes contain high amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol(THC), which is the cannabinoid most known for its psychoactive properties.

Hemp oil is obtained by pressing benefit-rich hemp seeds, is slightly different than cannabis oil, although they both come from the same genus, cannabis, and the same species, cannabis Sativa. The term hemp is used to describe a cannabis Sativa plant that contains only trace amounts of THC. Hemp is a high-growing plant that is commonly grown for industrial uses, such as oils and topical ointments, as well as fiber for clothes, construction, paper and more.

There is a lot of controversy surrounding cannabis oil, but the therapeutic value of cannabinoids is too high to put aside. It does amazing things for numerous diseases such as anorexia, emesis, pain, inflammation, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative disorders, epilepsy, glaucoma, osteoporosis, schizophrenia, cardiovascular disorders, cancer, obesity and metabolic syndrome-related disorders are being treated or have the potential to be treated by cannabis oil and other cannabinoid compounds.

Rick Simpson, a pioneer in the medical cannabis field has mastered the art of cannabis oil production and released his technique to the world for free. Start with one ounce of dried herb; one ounce will typically produce 3-4 grams of oil although the amount of oil will vary strain to strain. A pound of dried material will yield about two ounces of high-quality oil.

Caution! These instructions are summarized from Rick Simpson’s website.

Be very careful when boiling solvent off, the fumes are EXTREMELY flammable, AVOID smoking, sparks, stove tops, and red-hot heating elements. Set up a fan to blow fumes away from the pot, and set up in                 a well-ventilated area for the whole process.

Method:

  • Place the completely dry material in a plastic bucket.
  • Dampen the material with the solvent you are using. Many solvents can be used.       You can use naphtha, ether, butane, or 99% isopropyl alcohol. Two gallons of solvent   is required to extract the THC from one pound,  and 500ml is enough for one ounce.
  • Crush the plant material using a clean, untreated wood or any other similar device. Although the material will be damp, it will still be relevantly easy to crush up because  it is so dry.
  • Continue to crush the material with the stick, while adding solvent until the plant material is completely covered and soaked. Remain stirring the mixture for about  three minutes. As you do this, the THC is dissolved off the material into the solvent.
  • Pour the solvent-oil mixture off the plant material into another bucket. At this point, you have stripped the material of about 80% of its THC.
  • Second wash: again add solvent to the mixture and work for another three minutes     to extract the remaining THC.
  • Pour this solvent-oil mix into the bucket containing the first mix that was previously poured out.
  • Discard the twice washed plant material.
  • Pout the solvent-oil mixture through a coffee filter into a clean container.
  • Boil the solvent off: a rice cooker will boil the solvent off nicely, and will hold over         a half gallon of solvent mixture. CAUTION: avoid stove-tops, red-hot elements,    sparks, cigarettes and open flames as the fumes are VERY flammable.
  • Add the solvent to a rice cooker until it is about ¾ full and turn on HIGH heat. Make sure you are in a well-ventilated area and set up a fan to carry the solvent fumes away. Continue to add mixture to cooker as the solvent evaporates until you have added it all to the cooker.
  • As the level in the rice cooker decreases for the last time, add a few drops of water.  This will help to release the solvent residue, and protect the oil from too much heat.
  • When there is one inch of solvent-water mixture in the rice cooker, put on your oven mitts and pick the unit up and swirl the contents until the solvent has finished boiling off.
  • Keep your oven mitts on and remove the pot containing the oil from the rice cooker. Gently pour the oil into stainless steel container.
  • Place the stainless steel container in a dehydrator, or put it on a gentle heating device such as a coffee warmer. It may take a few hours but the water and volatile terpenes will be evaporated from the oil. When there is no longer any surface activity on the oil, it is ready for use.
  • Suck the oil up in a plastic syringe, or in any other container you see fit. A syringe     will make the oil easy to dispense. When the oil cools completely it will have the consistency of thick grease.

^When I  first started my research I wanted  to  slay this bastard^

I had many people are Facebook ask me to put an about me link “top tag” post at the top of this personal blog to inform the visitants about what got me to where I am today. I always felt this blog wasn’t about me, it’s free access to those that are in need 0f  information and inspiration to become labeled “cancer free.”  MY Story started March 2006 when I lost my father to Leiomyosarcoma, and my father always felt that what was needed in this world. Was an avenue to walk with all the answers for cancer.
.
So cancer patient could better be informed through awareness of the options available. My father always thought ….that doctors only knew was the information gather at the hospital they worked and never compared notes with the institutions around them and that many didn’t even now that. And the only thing they knew in most cases was the information that the patient knew themselves.

Lisa’s Story

Lisa Engelke is a young, devoted wife and mother of two young children. She is also a Stage IV Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor with no chemotherapy, radiation or hormonal drug treatments.

As a Middle School student Lisa was enrolled into the independent study program at the National Cancer Institute at Ft. Detrick, Maryland, intending to find the cure for Cancer before it took anymore of her family members.

After facing 30 years of living in toxic environments, unexplainable illnesses and two very challenging pregnancies and deliveries, she began hitting a brick wall with conventional medicine, always suffering side-effects and poor results. Although conventional medicine and intervention had saved her life multiple times, it was clear that the overuse of not just conventional medicine, but the conventional lifestyle that she had been living was causing her more harm than good.
This is when she began her in-depth research of natural & ancient medicines, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Energy Medicine. She applied them to herself and her children who started to reflect the same symptoms she suffered with as a child.

Hello. I’m honored to be here tonight and share with you the hope I’ve been given in the face of cancer. At this very moment, I am fighting cancer.
Three years ago, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I was 35 years old, married to my husband, Ken, and our girls Sam and Layla, were 5 and 3. The news was devastating. It was also baffling. Breast cancer doesn’t run in my family. And, I was on a health kick and feeling my best when the tumor showed up.
Now, “Triple Negative breast cancer” sounds bad, and it is. It is more aggressive in women under 40 and is more difficult to treat than other types of breast cancer. In fact, out of all breast cancers, mine has the lowest 5-year survival rate, of only 14%. To top that off, my first oncologist informed me that conventional cancer treatments would “guarantee a second cancer.”
Seven surgeries and three years later, I’m here tonight to celebrate the light that Believe Big has brought into our lives.
Believe Big has been steadfast, never giving up on me and giving me plenty of practical help.
They awarded me a wellness grant for IV mistletoe therapy, a house cleaning coupon, a treasured book at Christmastime, and my “fav” a Believe Big mug with the I Will Have No Fear prayer card. I see and read it EVERYDAY, multiple times a day. I use my mug first thing in the morning and last thing before bed to remind me of the gift of hope when I am feeling my worst.
I receive amazing support and information from Believe Big at no cost. Believe Big told me about mistletoe, directed me to a physician who could prescribe it, and connected me to a health center with an integrative approach to treat my individual “terrain”.
To this day, I refer to the Believe Big website almost weekly.
The “first steps” section was like gold to me when I was newly-diagnosed, emotional and needed someone to tell me what to do next.
The website’s comprehensive list of mistletoe doctors state by state is invaluable, along with healthy recipes, ways to navigate safer foods and products, and other tools that launched me into my research journey.
I now have a retreat-like in-home studio for the non-toxic therapies that elevate my health and well-being. My individualized diet and supplements, light exercise, juicing, meditation, on-going mistletoe therapy, and Acupuncture all started with my call to Believe Big. I “Believe Big” and maintain a positive attitude every day. I’ve followed this protocol without conventional treatments and it is working. I stand here today not in full remission, but full of hope.
Soon after my diagnosis, I attended the Believe Big Dinner and heard inspiring stories of how to integrate treatments, giving me a big dose of confidence that I could do it, too. I am doing it!
Believe Big teaches how to live with cancer. Believe Big teaches us how to THRIVE with cancer. That’s what I am doing here. I don’t want to die from cancer. I want to live with cancer.
I’m convinced that telling our stories is truly a cathartic part of the healing process. Thank you Believe Big for this night and for the opportunity to speak and to fulfill my purpose, my dream….to be a Hope Giver like you. Lisa Engelke

IT Will Never Be The Same

It Won’t Ever Be The Same

By Jeremy Bradley CBS News October 14, 2015, 5:00 AM

After breast cancer, “I won’t ever be the same. And that’s OK.”

She thought about potato chips. During the hardest parts of her 15-day, 467-mile run — Davina McNaney thought about potato chips. She also daydreamed about taking epsom salt baths and hugging her two young daughters at the finish line. And she thought about the day more than three years before, when she found out she had breast cancer.

McNaney was at home with her younger daughter when the phone rang in October      2012. She had gotten her first mammogram just a few weeks earlier. The doctors asked  her to come back for a second mammogram and biopsy.  McNaney didn’t think much of    it.  Although some members of her extended family had breast cancer,  Davina’s mother and grandmother did not.  Plus, she was also feeling fine and in great shape — she’d just completed a 40-mile race on her 40th birthday. But the nurse on the other end of the line explained McNaney’s biopsy showed DCIS, or ductal carcinoma in situ— the presence of abnormal cells inside the milk duct in the breast.

From Hell to Inspired

  Another goal has been reached!

It is such a sweet feeling to be able to climb your way to the top, when you were not even supposed to be able to walk on your own too feet!  People were looking at me like I was a bit off, and I am! I walked the whole way to the top barefoot! Obviously far from “normal”. Now they have something to talk about.  A few people asked me why  and I told them that it was healing and regenerating, and they sounded intrigued. Next time who knows?          A new trend might be on its way!

3 years ago I had to use a wheelchair to move more than 10 feet to go anywhere.  I spent several years in bed,  being  wheeled  around  from  the  car  to  my room,  when I was well enough to be carried on to a plain. I broke that spell by traveling to Florida by myself, now camping alone in the wild, and today,  stretching even more.  Reaching higher and higher. The body has no limit. I am growing younger.  More on that later ladies.  Being  51  is  the new 30 for me!

Unsinkable Determination

In 1996, swimmerAmy Van Dyken was preparing to compete in her first Olympic Games. Though fiercely competitive by nature, she wasn’t expected to emerge as an olympic star — while, becoming the first U.S. woman to win four gold medals in a single Olympics.  In the 2000 Games, Van Dyken added two more golds to her collection. She was dominating her sport.

Then, in June 2014, Van Dyken’s spirited nature and active lifestyle were tested when a near-fatal ATV accident left her paralyzed from the waist down.

Theresa DiNallo

When  Theresa DiNallo  was  diagnosed  with  breast  cancer,  her  world  was  turned         upside down.  Like most women who are diagnosed with the deadly illness,  life changes drastically.  According to BreastCancer.org,  12% of all women will develop breast cancer.  246,660 new cases are expected this year alone. Breast cancer is serious business to those diagnosed with it as well as a profitable business to pharmaceutical companies.

“After completing a mammogram, they called me and put it very delicately, saying they think there is a mass in a certain area,” DiNallo told news-herald.com. “That’s when            I immediately got scared and I remember being petrified the whole time.”Theresa was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma.

Theresa was immediately confronted with all the generic options, such as chemotherapy, she,  however,  chose to be more forward-thinking and started investigating.  One of her first findings was that poor nutrition  and  alcohol use highly increased cancer risks.  She also  noted  that fat-free,  sugar-free  and  low-fat diet items  were  laden  with  dangerous chemicals. Of course, the medical world gave her the “there is no definite cause” company line.

Have Peace Within Yourself

Kris wondered if her cancer was incurable, was she still healthy if she changed what she was doing in the past. And if so, just maybe. Within her mind, body and spirit that could keep the disease in check. Therefore, Kris made a major life forming commitment to a better understanding of living life.

She made a total upgrade inside ~ out about her past life. Kris since has learned how to listen to her brilliantinnervoice that guides her. Which brought her back to church, nature (the people and animals that set her heart a blaze and with “organic gardening. ” Kris learnt that a nutrient-dense, plant-based diet rules. Kris also learned the Standard American Diet is sad and kills, stress sucks ( vital life force ),  exercise is non-negotiable, joy is utterly contagious and having fun must be taken seriously.  Preview YouTube video Crazy Sexy Cancer

Hello this is Mallory Davenport and I just had my 30th Birthday June 18 and times always haven’t been this happy for me.  I would like to brief you “why this blog has come about.”In Sept. 2011, I was diagnosed with stage ll Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age    of 25.

I had just gotten married that April to my best friend and soul mate.

AND My job as an independent insurance adjuster  was going great,  I was making good money and traveling the U.S. SO Getting diagnosed with cancer was like being blindsided by a truck.

I decided to do chemo in Fort Worth where I had my house at the time, since Jack and I hadn’t been married that long  and  we worked on the road,  I hadn’t officially moved into his house…. in Daphne, Al.   So I started chemo in Fort Worth,  Texas in November 2011, the standard treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma (ABVD).  SO This  is how my experience  began:  While arriving at my first chemo not knowing what in the world was going to happen to me.

Study: Mistletoe Effective Against Colon Cancer

Mistletoe gives the kiss of death to cancer

In a new study, Zahra Lotfallani, a researcher at University of Adelaide in Australia,
(that’s her in the pic) found that one type of Mistletoe extract called Fraxini, when compared to chemotherapy, was more effective against colon cancer cells and less toxic.

“Mistletoe extract has been considered a viable alternative therapy overseas for many years, but it’s important for us to understand the science behind it,”says one of              Ms Lotfollahi’s supervisors, the University of Adelaide’s Professor Gordon Howarth,   and a Cancer Coach.

Hi you all, just wanted to share with you my good news.  In July 2013,        I was diagnosed with stage 4a cervical cancer. I followed the conventional treatment route because I didn’t really know I had any other choice.  To be fair it served me well but never fully gave me the all clear.  It culminated in October 2014,  when they told me …. it had come back in para-aortic lymph nodes with increased activity in the cervix and they could only further offer palliative care.

What is The AGE 0f Aquarius

rosasmagicRachel  writes – It’s with great  sadness,  we learnt of Rosa’s passing on Sept 6th 2015, after fighting a rare form of     cancer over the last 2 years.  I want to honour her memory  &  work with DNA,  and the wonderful woman she was.  My friend Rosa Parkin, who has died of cancer aged 43,  was     a magician, performer and traveller whose creative talents were matched by an incredible drive.

As an artist, Rosa found her feet with the alternative circus troupe Turbo Unit, making props for its shows in France,  Spain and the UK in the mid-90s. After this, I roped her into art directing my first short film, That Sinking Feeling, a modern-day reworking of  The Little Mermaid that required underwater effects and the construction of a lift that opened out into the sea. Her swift mastery of the role of art director, her craft skills, and her management of both the budget and the team,  meant that she was inundated  with offers of commercial work afterwards. Her real desire, however, incubated at Turbo, was to perform.

Rosa had many chapters in her life, but found her ultimate metier in magic. She studied   at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque in Châlons-en-Champagne, and also as a female magician, she was a rarity.  As a born storyteller,  she effortlessly drew in an audience, through her theatric skill and absurdity, into something more intangible and wonderfully transformative.

Rosa was born in Canterbury, the daughter of Frank Parkin, a political sociologist and Oxford don who taught at Magdalen College, and his first wife, Diana Wignall, a left-wing activist and historian.

During her many years in France, Rosa acquired fluent French and ran several theatre companies. At the same time, she was also performing at events and festivals around the world. She became an accomplished lindy hopper, learning the dance at classes and clubs, and was still dancing weeks before she died.

Rosa’s curiosity and wonder at the world drove her to explore, but much of what she accomplished in her life had no road map: she created artworks, shows, businesses, and new starts in different countries from nothing, over and over again, each time succeeding with aplomb. Her enthusiasm was infectious.

Rosa is survived by her long-term partner and Turbo Unit colleague, Dadu Massy, by her son, Manu, by her mother, three brothers and a half-sister.

Memorial Day Weekend 2015Ken also writes – Walk the walk… talk the talk.

….. I remember my walk and talk with Rosa Parkin that weekend as we took a stroll of downtown Portland. Rosa who passed away of Leiomyosarcoma that autumn back at her   home in Brighton U.K. However, but not before allowing me to see when she entered our Facebook she was unable to walk, bedridden with a 8 cm tumor in her uterus and flew to Oregon 8 months later for a visit to the coastline she always wanted to see but never knew how. I could tell while there with surmounting stress and fear of losing her 12 year old son Manu. . . .that her stress of having cancer was getting the best of her?

..  As we talked about the New Age of Aquarius ..it was so Haight-Ashbury 60’s like. We talked about how someday their would be a great awakening. Much like the Hippie Generation: Today … The Age of Aquarius …. is causing great turmoil in order to make room for the new values of love, brotherhood, unity and integrity. Everything with Piscean values is being exposed and taken down. This includes governments, corporations, individuals, and even personal relationships. Many call this a disaster, as the world appears to be falling apart, but is it? The Aquarian Age points to the direction of our own evolution in consciousness. We are each being asked to make a choice. We can cling to the old outdated values or adopt the new evolving ones. Our happiness and peace depends on our choice and the change will take place whether we like it or not.

…. Both the Aquarian Age  and  the Mayan Great Cycle appear to have begun at the           same time, around 2012. One could argue that there was contact since the word “maya” also can  be found in Greek text.  What’s interesting is both are based on precession of      the equinoxes.  Scientists today confirmed the galactic alignment as the Maya predicted, “There’s no question that one of the great cycles of the traditional ancient Mayan calendar comes to a completion of its count at that time in 2012,”  says E.C. Krupp, Ph.D., director of the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California.

…. In fact, .many scientists believe .we should be paying closer attention. to what the        Maya predicted for our own sake. Hidden in their hieroglyphic text is the key to our own salvation, however, we must open our minds to see it.  The Maya calculated to the day… that the historic alignment on December 21, 2012 over 2,000 years ago.”…our ancestors devised every method imaginable to alert us to a single fact; now is the time of the most extraordinary conditions and opportunities that accompany the rarest of events, the shift from one world age to the next.” Fractal Time,  ~ Gregg Braden.

❤ let’s continue to seek Him, He is ALWAYS THERE… but we need to draw near Him, seek Him, His ways through His Word 🙏🎶🎵🎹😇

The Age 0f Aquarius is about acknowledging the system is broken..

And crucially, not waiting for someone else to fix it. The Age of Aquarius is about making the most of our freedom while bearing the responsibilities for our own lives, too.

“I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change.
I am changing the things I cannot accept.”

When you seek solitude and can’t find it in your own mind.
You are an infinite being with infinite possibilities and infinite potential: In the philosophy of anthroposophy (introduced by the philosopher, Rudolf Steiner, 1861-1925), both soul and spirit are defined and worked with, in the triumvirate of body, soul, and spirit. The human body has two aspects, a.) the physical substances such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, iron, and much more, ordered by b.) an astonishing divinely-inspired plan or design of the human body.
The middle realm is soul, whose workshop is relationship. The themes of soul are, in contrast to the spirit’s light and freedom, darkness, and constraint. The soul is where we wake up in the morning saying, “I am here, time for another day.” Whether in that first moment of the dawning day we say “it’s another terrible day with terrible people in it giving me a hard time” or “another opportunity to meet the challenges, to learn, to develop the heart, to enjoy this beautiful place”—that is the work of the soul. In the soul we have the tools of thinking (cognition), feeling (affection), and willing (doing, volition). We use those tools in our engagements with others through sacred relationship.

With so much in transition, what can you do to future-proof ourselves? ‘The person who’s adaptable and trained to work in a number of settings will survive changes best, as will those who take responsibility without being asked,’ says Shelley. ‘If there is any quality essential for this new age, it’s retaining a youthful inquisitiveness about work and life.’ Transformation may not be tidy, but it’s full of opportunities. Whether you are a tech-loving rational thinker, or a new age hippy, consider whether you want to close your mind to the new world,

When patterns are broken, new worlds emerge.- so if you don’t like the world you are living in then change the pattern of it one thought at a time. We are fundamentally mirrors for each other.  And in our relational agreements, we can learn how to serve each other in a more conscious and neutral manner, in order that our intimate relationships can be more valuable vessels for spiritual growth. Without this understanding, and the tools necessary to craft such a relationship, we will often see the love and commitment of couples turn to spite and resentment.

Elaine Cantin’s Ketogenic Remedy

Elaine Cantin was diagnosed with breast cancer and within one week was rushed into  have a surgical lumpectomy.  Doctors wanted to immediately begin  ‘aggressive’ radiation and chemotherapy and this idea frightened Elaine, as she had seen many family members and friends die.  Elaine said, “I thought that if I had to go,  I would not be going that way.” Within six months the tumor had regrown in the original spot to the size of a small egg.

Elaine did extensive research and testing with the ketogentic diet used at the Johns Hopkins Medical Center.  She modified the diet…. to exclude dairy and other allergens, and once on this modified version of the diet, her tumor shrunk to the size of a chickpea    in only two weeks. A biopsy of the ‘tumor’ revealed cancer cells were no longer present.

Recently Elaine has been given a clean bill of health as she is considered in remission.

In Cancer, Energy Healers, Healing Cancer Naturally on October 16, 2015 at 8:42 amWorking at my desk, I suddenly get the urge to feel under my arm—the lump.     Distinct and concerning,  Round two begins, September, 2014.

While my first instinct was to decline the biopsy, I decided that maybe I did need to   know, that maybe it would help me to know how aggressive I needed to be in resolving the ‘situation’.  Plus, without the biopsy, I am told, there was no way to know if this was a new cancer or recurrence  (new cancer at stage one vs recurrence at stage three–but as it turns out, the biopsy was inconclusive)  I was also inclined to decline the surgery,  knowing this was not a good option  (note to self—go with your gut in the future,  it is smarter than the brain).

My surgeon agreed that opting out was a very good option. While it does seem like common sense that the removal of cancerous lymph nodes would improve survival rates, the evidence shows this is not the case and it causes far too much harm, further damaging an already sluggish lymphatic system—which can lead to lymphedema and more cancer. But then in further discussions, he said he could just remove that tiny spot, no need to put me to sleep, and that perhaps removal would help me sleep as I am the type of person who will remain awake, thinking, and thinking.

My father John David Olifent and mother Sheila June Olifent, both died with cancer in May and June 2008. During my parent’s illnesses and that of my uncle too, who later died with cancer, I witnessed some disturbing and seriously contradictory practices within conventional ‘standard of care’ cancer.  I poured literally thousands of hours of research in and I amassed a large body of knowledge in traditional medical healthcare, alternative therapies, nutritional books, literature and various CD/DVD lectures and teaching.

The more knowledge I gained, the clearer the picture became as to what we in western society are doing to ourselves nutritionally and through our lifestyles. The information contained within our book ‘Do You Want to Know What we Did to Beat Cancer?’is inarguably the basis of what we chose to do when my wife was faced with cancer and was written off by the medical establishment in 2011. My wife Sue no longer has cancer following the significant nutritional and lifestyle changes that we put into practice.

Hello, I am very concerned when I see and read daily posts of people suffering and dying of cancer.  It is hard when it affects you personally as to watch your family members go through this very same tragedy, so many I cannot count by hand.

I remember almost six years ago today that I was told that I had breast cancer and the protocol they spoke to me about.  I had to stop and think and say to myself there has got   to be a better way to fix this issue. Through several hours of research by my husband and myself, we realized there are other options out there; however, they are not covered by insurance. http://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/

Per the insurance companies the options are experimental and are not proven.  I bid    them wrong, for there are studies out there regarding the type of treatments I have had, however,  the FDA does not want to see them. To me the drugs and trials they are using are experimental and are affecting people with side effects.

But in December of 2013, the Longport resident had to look at her health in a whole new way.

She was diagnosed with stage1B triple negative breast cancer, and underwent a double mastectomy. Hardcore chemotherapy from March to mid-September left her body weak.

“I went in for my surgery, and after that I couldn’t lift my arms,” Kashon, 45, who went through a year of treatments, told The Press of Atlantic City (http://bit.ly/1eV0lzQ ). “With the treatments, the doctors told me I would feel like I got hit by a truck. That’s a gross understatement,” she said. “I felt like I got hit by a freight train.”

Question: “What does it mean to have mustard seed faith?”

Answer: Faith is so vital to the Christian life that Scripture tells us that, without it, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Yet our faith is such a powerful gift from God (Ephesians 2:8–9)  Christ told His disciples,  with just a tiny measure of it,  the size of a mustard seed, they could move mountains. So, what does it mean to have “mustard seed faith”?“Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’ and it will move; Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:14–20).

This is such an amazing, inspiring story about Ryan D. Luelf & his family, his pathway        to healthy, healing & freedom from stage 4 non-Hodgskins Lymphoma. I’ve followed his story these past 14 months. I have paid attention to their struggles & fighting this disease through natural treatments.    https://www.facebook.com/ryansadventure/  https://www.facebook.com/doyouownyourlife/videos/1774437166214748/?pnref=story

Hi Ken – everyone. As requested, and as is my mission, I’ll briefly summarize and share my journey. Prior to my cancer diagnosis I always had major Work and financial stress. They are still there. They are the only reason that it’s still there. That and I have been single for almost seven years and am a person who is happy in a relationship. I left a toxic relationship with the intention of being happy. To be clear – work, finance and loneliness are the only reasons my tumour is still there. It’s stays the same size and it hasn’t grown.
.
I am trying to start my business to earn enough to quit my job and move to a little cottage on a Peaceful lake in Ontario.  In September, 2014 I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. Multifocal (two tumours that feel like one). Stage 2-3 due to the combined size (approximately 4 cm at their widest – combined). However, No metastasis. I had my first and last mammogram, CT scan, ultrasound and bone scan. I refused biopsy due to risk of metastasis. They were convinced it was malignant.

The following was posted by Teresa Levi on October 7, 2017:

So with the permission of Kathleen Blake and Teresa from the Gerson Support Group:

                                    I Bring You Teresa’s Story.

Today is the expiration date given to me by my first oncologist 2 years ago. Since I have   no intention of expiring, I thought I would share the good news with you all on this date   in particular.

No More METs! No NED! (No Evidence of Disease)

You know this healing process has it’s ups and downs. With the last 3 weeks being down from dealing with the pre and post hurricane Irma mess and limitations from lack of electricity with difficulty following the Gerson therapy it’s nice to have the up side to it.

Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, closeup and indoor                      I have spent a good 20 years of my life getting progressively sicker.

As a health- conscious individual, I always took care of myself by eating relatively  well, exercising daily, and making a point of getting an annual physical the results       of which I kept and analyzed.

I first noticed a problem due to my decreasing performance in athletic activities.

I played soccer in my teens and 20s and became a runner and biker in my 30s. Slowly  over time, I noticed that I didn’t have the energy to maintain my preferred pace. I would run out of steam and just muscle my way through.   I also started experiencing various aches and pains throughout my body, which I attributed to something I ate.  At the age       of 38, I decided to look at my blood work over time. That’s when I noticed that all my numbers were moving in a negative direction toward the low end of normal. Of course,     my doctor didn’t think anything of it since I was still within the normal range, but I was worried.

When I became anemic, I pushed him to investigate further. I needed a long nap just to   get through the evening and my aches and pains now extended to my sleep. I developed debilitating migraines  and  took  Relpax for relief.  Overall,   I just did not feel right and knew something was wrong.  I took iron pills for months, but there was no change in my blood work. Next my doctor recommended an iron infusion, but I went into anaphylactic shock.
