Independence Day

For Ella Woodward  and  for much of her life she  was  a  total sugar addict: with a diet consisting primarily chocolate,  cookies,  peanut butter and jelly with ice cream for desert. That changed suddenly in June 2011  when she became suddenly ill  and for the next four months toured London Hospitals. Visiting countless specialists having every conceivable test her symptoms worsen as the doctors became confused.

While experiencing unbearable dizziness and having a painful and swollen stomach     the test results indicated there was nothing wrong. However in September her illness was finally classified as a type of dysautonomia,  Postural Tachycardia Syndrome  that affects the autonomic nervous system and is believed by experts to be significantly under-diagnosed.
————————————————————————————————————————————-

Symptoms present themselves in a wide variety of ways, however orthostatic intolerance (difficultly maintaining a steady heart rate when upright) is the defining feature – my heart rate normally jumps from around 60 to 130 within 30 seconds of standing!                  I think 194 is my record though!

Please NOTE:   Heart palpitations,  chest pain,   fatigue,   dizziness,   lightheadedness,         pre syncope (blackouts), constant headaches, severe digestive issues, nausea, abdominal cramps and food intolerances also unfortunately occur on a daily basis!

The illness predominantly …affects women… and usually develops in your late teens and   early twenties. Whilst medications are amazingly helpful in controlling symptoms there is no cure.  This isn’t helped by the fact that most doctors  have never heard of the syndrome since the condition  gets  so  little attention  in  the  medical community.

As a result of this lack of understanding, even the experts do not fully understand why it occurs and what the prognosis is. All they can estimate is that in about 50% of patients the syndrome disappears at some point, although they really cannot predict when, whilst for the remaining 50% it is something they will have to manage for life.

If you want to find out more about PoTS then this link may be useful – PoTS: An Overview.

As she began taking an array of drugs and steroids to manage the symptoms nothing seemingly worked. She responded by living in denial instead of facing up to how ill and depressed she had become.  She became a shut in — away from everyone – laying in bed watching terrible T.v. shows and eating candy. And it wasn’t until a disastrous romantic getaway to Marrakesh – which also ended with her being brought home in a wheel chair hooked to an IV that she took responsibility for her own health.

As she started researching natural healing,  she  discovered  American Kris Carr whom   begin to manage her own cancer through a plant base, whole food diet that began her new way of life. Changing her diet and going cold turkey on the comfort foods she loved wasn’t easy. It took her 18 months to gain her new lease on life.  Everyday she finds herself trying to manage her new life style or her symptoms will return. But she is so grateful how much better she feels eating this way   🙂  http://deliciouslyella.com/philosophy/about/

LET FREEDOM RING

This week was a rough one trying to overcome an inner ear infection and 4 cm kidney stone feeling weak. Then Monday morning I get word that Ashley Smith passed away do to  cancer treatment complications.  I always wonder how an oncologist has the right to pressure cancer patients into their cut burn and poison phi·los·o·phy when that persons cancer is being managed with the natural alternative.
Ashley Smith's Profile Photo
Therefore, I promised her father  I would dedicate this blog to Ashley!!!

Cancer is scary, and doctors sometimes sound as if they’re speaking a foreign language when talking about the disease and its treatment. But “people are making life and death decisions that may also affect their survival  and  they need to know what they’re getting themselves into,”  says  Dr. Angela Fagerlin,  Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at    the University of Michigan Medical School and a cancer researcher at the school. “Cancer treatments and tests can be serious.  Patients need to know what kind of side effects they might experience as a result of the treatment they undergo.”

What can cancer patients do to increase their fluency in the language of cancer?

  • 1. Insist on plain language

Don’t understand something your doctor says? Ask him/her to give a better explanation.

“Doctors don’t know when patients don’t understand them, says Dr. Fagerlin.        “They want patients to stop them and ask questions.”

  • 2. Focus on the absolute risk

Cancer care can be risky, so it’s important to learn the facts about risks before you consent to any cancer test or treatment. Sometimes doctors talk about relative risk, saying things like “This drug will cut your risk in half.”  But such statements don’t really indicate what you need to know,  and research has shown that using relative    risk makes both patients and doctors more likely to favor a treatment, because they believe it to be more beneficial than it actually is.

For a true picture, ask your doctor about the absolute risk of any treatment he/she recommends. “The drug will lower your risk of cancer from 4 percent to 2 percent”   lets you know that most people won’t get cancer regardless.

  • 3. Visualize your risk

Sometimes it’s hard simply to think about risk numbers. So Dr. Fagerlin recommends drawing 100 boxes  and  coloring in one box for each percentage point of risk.  If your risk of a side effect is 10 percent, for example, you would color in 10 boxes.

This kind of visual representation, called a pictograph, can help you better understand what the numbers mean.

  • 4. Think of risk in terms of frequency

What does it mean, exactly, if a doctor says 60 percent of men who have a radical prostatectomy will experience impotence? Imagine a roomful of 100 men. Sixty will have this side effect and 40 will not.  Thinking  of  risk in terms  of groups of people helps make complicated statistics a bit easier to understand.

  • 5. Focus on additional risk

When evaluating a proposed treatment, it’s important to compare the risk of  something happening if you get the treatment versus the risk of that if you forgo the treatment.  For example, say a doctor says the risk of experiencing a certain medical problem if you take a drug is 7 percent. If you didn’t take the drug, is there a chance you’d still experience the problem?

Always ask what the additional or incremental risk of a treatment is. “You want to make sure the risk number you’re being presented is the risk due to the treatment    and not a risk you would face no matter what,” Fagerlin says.

  • 6. Pay attention to all your doctor says

Studies have shown that the last thing a doctor tells you in a conversation is likely to   be the thing you are most likely to remember.  When you’re making a decision about treatment, it’s essential that you remember all the facts and statistics you’ve heard.

  • 7. Write it down

One great way to keep track of everything you’re told is to write it down. At the end     of the discussion with the doctor, ask him/her if a written summary of the risks and benefits is available – or ask the doctor to help you prepare a written summary of the information.

  • 8. Don’t get hung up on averages

Picking appropriate care for cancer involves playing the odds. But studies suggest that learning the average risk does not help patients make good decisions about what’s best for them. Your risk is what really matters – not anyone else’s. Be sure to focus on the information that applies specifically to you.

  • 9. Consider possibility that less is more

Too much information can be overwhelming. In some cases, there may be many treatment options but only a few that are truly germane. Ask your doctor to narrow  down and to limit his/her discussion to the options and facts most relevant for you.

  • 10. Consider your risk over time

Your risk may change over time. If you’re told the five-year risk that your cancer will return after a certain treatment, ask what the 10-year or 20-year risk is. In some cases, the data might not be available – but always be mindful of the time frame involved.

Attitude as mind-body therapy:

1) Indecision is your decision take responsibility for your health.

I don’t mean to sound trite here. You make all decisions about your body. Your doctor   and others can make recommendations but you are the final say. There was a fundamental shift in my thinking when I decided that my oncologist was no longer in charge of my cancer, the fall of 1997.

2) Find a sense of purpose-

There has got to more of a goal for you than remission or even a cure. It can be seeing   your daughter/son graduate/marry, it can be achieving a goal within an organization, it can be most anything. But the purpose has got to be more than your health. For me it is PeopleBeatingCancer. Researching and writing about cancer, coaching cancer patients, survivors and caregivers, all of it is extremely gratifying for me.

3) Understand and live positive psychology-

This is not about being cheerful or thinking happy thoughts. The field of Positive Psychology described by Dr. Martin Seligman in the video linked above brought a fundamental shift in how I thought about the ups and downs that come with cancer (explanatory style).

4) Grow spiritually-

Please notice that I didn’t say to become spiritual or “you need some churchin’ up”     (Blues Brothers-Cab Calloway). I said to “grow spiritually.” The simple experience            of facing death will help you grow spiritually.

5) Be Proud to be a cancer survivor

The two cancer philosophies that I disagree with most often are “Cancer as war or She beat cancer to the end…” and “I don’t want people to define me by my cancer…” I feel the exact opposite. I look at cancer as a chess match, as if I need to out-think cancer, not beat it.

Further, I’m proud of my scars, both mental and physical. I no longer sweat the little stuff. I’m more spiritual. I give more. Has cancer made me a better person???

Practicing mind-body therapy in your daily life-

6) Moderate Daily Exercise

In many ways, moderate daily exercise is the ultimate mind-body therapy. Before, during and after active therapies, countless studies prove that moderate exercise changes how your genes express themselves, help you loose weight, help you sleep (see #8), just feel better…

7) Be social-

Whether in a marriage or a committed relationship, cancer survivors live longer if you and your primary caregiver are partners.

8) Quality sleep-

Some the most commonsense therapies can be the most effective for cancer patients and survivors. A good night’s sleep for instance. The articles linked above cite that sleep is difficult during therapy and lack of restful sleep may worsen your cancer.…

9) Relaxation techniques-

Breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation, massage, aromatherapy, sauna-                   I consider all of these as being relaxation therapies…

10) Psychotherapy-

It took me a few years to figure this out but talking to others about my cancer their experiences helped me a lot. I still have “a bit of the doubt drifting around my head       but talking to others on FACEBOOK has helped me tremendously realize what is important for me.

When I think about Alternative Treatments I always look back to Steve Jobs often criticized  for  seeking  the alternative way  but  in  hindsight.  Steve had been battling           with pancreatic cancer for two decades.  Pancreatic cancer is a fast-progressing type of cancer that is quite fatal. This makes twenty years a long time to live for someone who’s battling with this type of cancer, and also shows us that the treatment Job’s was receiving must have been right on the mark. We do know that Steve Jobs chose alternative and natural cancer treatments.

There are two types of pancreatic cancer. The more aggressive form, which is not what Job’s had, attacks cells and enzymatic tissues, which help release toxins from the body. The type of cancer Job’s had was of the hormone producing cells of the pancreas, and the “five-year survival rate for neuroendocrine tumors can range from 50% to 80%, compared with less than 5% for adenocarcinoma. . Steve lived for twenty years with this cancer! It seems that he did not have chemotherapy or radiation treatment at all only surgery.    https://draxe.com/steve-jobs-twenty-year-battle-with-pancreatic-cancer/

ALSO when I think about Alternative Therapy I think about Farrah Fawcett and her struggle with anal cancer doing quite well with her treatments in Germany. Once Farrah came back to the United Stated  and  started on high doses of chemotherapy …. did her condition worsen. Farrah was also treated by Dr. Ursula Jacob of Germany’s Alpenpark Clinic and in an interview with Access Hollywood, Jacob says that, in Germany, Fawcett was given “natural supplements and also immune treatments” that were tailored to her specific case.

Doctor Jacob offers her patients the most advanced holistic medical therapies, not only for prevention,  but for anti-aging from inside the body.  Many people are not aware that certain viruses and toxins accumulate during our lifetime and these can cause specific types of severe chronic diseases. The clinic aims are to detect those substances and viruses through regular blood checks, also metabolism, immune system and works with the most advanced laboratories in the world.  Depending on the results of these tests Doctor Jacob will then create individual micronutrient pellets for you,  as – well – as  a targeted immune therapy and detoxification to eliminate and prevent anything that could produce damage.

To force the regenerative process Doctor Jakob works with growth factors for all of the different organs (for example, to improve the skin, cartilage to build up connecting tissue, adrenal, liver and heart to make you feel and look great.

 Telomeres and cancer

As a cell begins to become cancerous, it divides more often, and its telomeres become very short. If its telomeres get too short, the cell may die. Often times, these cells escape death by making more telomerase enzyme, which prevents the telomeres from getting even shorter.

Many cancers have shortened telomeres, including pancreatic, bone, prostate, bladder, lung, kidney, and head and neck.

Measuring telomerase may be a way to detect cancer. And if scientists can learn how to stop telomerase, they might be able to fight cancer by making cancer cells age and die. In one experiment, researchers blocked telomerase activity in human breast and prostate cancer cells growing in the laboratory, prompting the tumor cells to die. But there are risks. Blocking telomerase could impair fertility, wound healing, and production of blood cells and immune system cells. http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/content/chromosomes/telomeres/

With more information everyday becoming known on the internet and with more and more cancer patients sharing information through social media. Greater information is filtering through the world making the side effects of these treatments better known.

With this awareness greater choices are being made possible through free access ?

Stress Management – Permanent Solutions For Stress Reduction

Scientists demonstrate the connection between stress and cancer

23.05.2013
Scientists demonstrate the connection between stress and cancer. 50153.jpeg

Scientists insist stress related to cancer

Scientists analyzed various studies showing a clear link between stress and cancer, including breast cancer. Stress often manifests with moodiness, headache, limb pain      and discouragement.

Scientists analyzed various studies showing a connection between stress and cancer, including breast cancer. New research reveals how they relate.

For many years, scientists suspected and maintained a connection between exposure        to stressful experiences and the development of cancer. So far, various studies show conflicting results.

Scientists at the University of Maastricht, Netherlands, analyzed some works dealing stress episodes in the life of a person and the risk of breast cancer. Even the death of a relative or friend influences the genesis of some cancers.

Other studies have shown that severe stress, even if it happens a couple of days, weakens our immune system, making us more vulnerable to a host of health problems. Researchers suspect  this is caused  by a stress hormone called cortisol, which  can  affect  our  immune system cells and limit their ability to prevent disease.

Moreover, scientists at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, showed stress       impedes wound healing.  This is demonstrated  by the fact that people who are very   nervous about an operation,  have more discomfort after and are more vulnerable to postoperative infections. Stress often manifests with moodiness, headache, limb pain    and discouragement. It can lead to emotional imbalances like depression.

Stress makes you burn fewer calories and cortisol can actually reduce the body’s ability to release fat from its fat stores  to use for energy.  Instead,  we become sugar burners and fat storers.  Stress hormones cause increased body fat in the abdominal region,  exactly where we don’t need or want it. Chronic stress can lead the body to ignore the function of insulin. Insulin resistance develops when the cells fail to respond to insulin’s message to take in glucose from the blood stream.

It is thought elevated blood sugar due to stress and diet contributes to the development    of insulin resistance. When insulin fails to unlock our cells, the appetite is increased while the body’s ability to burn fat is decreased. This syndrome is part of the modern problem of rising rates of obesity and diabetes.

Stress inhibits the production and activity of natural killer cells,  known as NK cells,           as much as 50%.  NK cells are responsible for identifying and destroying cancer and virus cells. Even more scary, chronic stress can accelerate the growth of cancer cells in the body as well as block the body’s ability to fight cancer.  It promotes  the synthesis of new blood cells in tumors and accelerates the growth of some tumors.

Enjoy life every day—with less worry

Stressed Out?

Stress has a funny way of sneaking up on you. Your body and mind can “act out”                  if worrisome events — financial,  health,  interpersonal,  and  the like become too prominent in your life. Try these 4 easy steps to manage stress…

  1. MOVE YOUR WORRY OUT: Exercise is an extremely powerful stress reducer. Physical activity works tension out of your muscles,  and stimulates the creation of mood-boosting endorphins.
  2. DRINK GREEN TEA: Green tea contains abundant amounts of L-theanine,              an amino acid known for its relaxing properties. Theanine increases alpha waves           in the brain, which produce a state of calm alertness.
  3. SMILE: The very act of smiling registers in the hypothalamus of your brain, where endorphins are produced. When you smile you immediately feel better. So, the next time you’re feeling stressed, bring back a happy memory— put a smile on your face!GET ENOUGH SLEEP: We all do a better job of coping with worry after a sound night’s sleep.  For better sleep,  turn off the TV  and  your computer at least an hour before bedtime. Dimming the lights  also  helps  by  stimulating your body’s natural production of melatonin, the hormone that induces sleep.  And a warm shower or   bath can also help you drift off into relaxing slumber.

Sure-fire ways to help stay relaxed. Try at least two of these activities a day:

  • Keep a journal: even a few sentences a day can make a difference.
  • Exercise (including yoga)
  • Listen to soothing music
  • Meditate or sit quietly without distractions
  • Laugh, laugh, and laugh some more!

Cortisol and stress: What you need to know

Cortisol is released in response to stress, which is how it got its moniker, the “stress hormone.”  It is secreted into the bloodstream as part of the body’s  “fight or flight” response to stress.  In other words,  cortisol increases when you need a quick burst of energy for survival reasons.  Plus increased cortisol gives you heightened awareness       and alertness and primes you for action.

While cortisol is an important part of the body’s response to stress, it’s important to counteract it  with a relaxation response  so the body’s functions can return to normal.     But our modern culture,  flooded with chronic high — stress situations on a daily basis,       can make that difficult. From increased traffic and congestion to new technologies with multiple passwords to remember  to the constant stimulation from electronic devices—      it all adds up! https://integrativeoncology-essentials.com/2013/09/adrenal-exhaustion-and-cancer-is-this-real/

Psychological Stress and Health
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
When someone is under chronic stress, it begins to negatively affect his or her physical and mental health. The body’s stress response was not made to be continuously engaged. Many people encounter stress from multiple sources, including work; money, health, and relationship worries; and media overload. With so many sources of stress, it is difficult to find time to relax and disengage.
This is why stress is one of the biggest health problems facing people today. Chronic stress increases the risk of developing health problems including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and a weakened immune system. Chronic stress also affects a person’s mental health. Many studies show a correlation between stress and the development of mood disorders such as anxiety disorders and depression.According to the American Psychological Association’s latest stress survey, 66 percent of people regularly experience physical symptoms of stress, and 63 percent experience psychological symptoms.
Link between Stress & Mental HealthAlthough many studies have shown a link between stress and mental health problems, the reason behind this connection has remained unclear. Recent research also from the University of California, Berkeley, has discovered new insight into why stress can be so detrimental to a person’s psyche.Previous research has found physical differences in the brains of people with stress disorders, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and those without. One of the main distinctions is that the ratio of the brain’s white matter to gray matter is higher in those with stress-related mental disorders compared to those without.

People who experience chronic stress also have more white matter in some areas of the brain. The UC Berkeley study wanted to find out the underlying reason for this alteration in the brain composition.  Stress is one of the most common problems of modern life. Stress is an emotional  chemical response to stimuli around us,  but the problem lies inside our heads.  Stress is most often associated with lack of time or money,  or by relationships at work, home, or with family. Achieving better emotional control helps some folks handle stress much better than others, but some situations are inherently more stressful than others.Ideally, the long-term solution to stress is to overhaul your attitude via personal development work.

But while you’re working on that, there are some strategies to help you cope in the short-term. If your stress originates from too little money,  the logical answer is to get a better-paying job. Too little time: slow down, prioritize, be realistic, and focus. Multi-tasking is    a crazy-making oxymoron.  If your stress originates in your relationships,  stop blaming  other people; stop trying to control other people; and focus on your own life and its direction.

When the sea is calm on the inside. It’s much easier to                              weather  all the storms  on the outside. ~ Anonymous ~

The best solution over-all for dealing with stress in the short-term … is to                           know  your values and your life’s purpose and to stay grounded in yourself.

Taking time for deep personal reflection

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

We must all do so in order to be balanced, grounded,  open,  harmonious          in our actions, work and relationships. Whether you have  four hours or 4 days you must a doable regimen that supports your well being emotionally, physically and spiritually and commit to it. In this moment of deep rest you turn yourself inward, toward what is important in your LIFE, with others, with the planet and with GOD.

GOLF is a metaphor for LIFE for me: its about creating a spacious relief in my harried LIFE. It’s time to reflect and invite the remembrance of the blessing I have in my LIFE. For me its the time I take from being driven by all the myriad distractions I have in my LIFE and refocus on a sacred pause that reminds to stay put, live in the present and have access to each breath I take.
You will discover your inner voice that reminds you of your wisdom born from experience which teaches you the good and the bad about yourself and refocuses your being of a new direction in your life. What makes me GOLF better is playing with the conscious of each breath I take, between the moment of impacting that tiny ball. It is within each breath where magic is found and the same can be told of your dis~ease  🙂

A long term survivor of a uterine leiomyosarcoma discusses the strategies which played a part in her total recovery. She has remained cancer free since November 2008. This video was made about 5 years into her recovery ((2013/14) and uploaded as she approaches 9 years free and clear. She continues to get check-ups and scans to confirm her cancer-free diagnosis.

These risk  factors provide leads  for  further investigations into the genetic and environmental determinants of  various  forms of  SoftTissueSarcomas. Cancer is a genetic disease in which many  factors including diet, smoking, chemicals, sunlight, hereditary factors, and viruses are thought to cause alterations or mutations in our genes. An alteration can result in a change of  the DNA material within a gene or in excessive copies of a gene. When enough mutations accumulate, the normal process  inside the cell go awry, and tumors begin to grow.

The first case  of Leiomyosarcoma  was found in 1994according to a Case Study               by the University of Ontario.  This cancer only accounts for 5%-10% of all soft tissue sarcomas.  Famous people like Padma L. Atluri, a writer for 90210 and Men in Trees,    and Katie Price (Jordan), an English media personality, both suffered from LMS…

With various sarcomas and a variety of mesenchymal tumors, including:

  • Alveolar soft part sarcoma
  • Angiosarcoma
  • Chondrosarcoma
  • Desmoid tumor
  • Desmoplastic small cell tumor
  • Epithelioid sarcoma
  • Ewings sarcoma
  • Extraskeletal mesenchymal chondrosarcoma
  • Extraskeletal osteosarcoma
  • Fibrous histiocytoma of bone
  • Fibrosarcoma
  • Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST)
  • Kaposi’s sarcoma
  • Leiomyosarcoma
  • Liposarcoma
  • Malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH)
  • Malignant mesenchymoma
  • Malignant primative neuroectodermal tumor (PNET)
  • Myofibroblastic sarcoma
  • Myxofibrosarcoma
  • Neurofibrosarcoma
  • Osteoganic sarcoma
  • Osteosarcoma
  • PEComa
  • Rhabdomyosarcoma
  • Malignant schwannoma
  • Spindle cell sarcoma
  • Synovial sarcoma

they are so deadly to treat with so little known about some of them!!!

It is quite clear that there are certain situations which cause certain damage which can result in Sarcoma’s and the main one I am writing about LeioMyoSarcoma.

Why don’t all the people who CAN get a cancer get it?

It’s chance. It depends upon what the radiation photon, the virus, the antibody, actually attacks. Since most of the causal agents cause DNA damage, the sum of the exposures IS additive.

Much of the damage  comes  from free radicals.  Antioxidants  help  prevent  free radicals.    So one way that people predisposed to cancer DON’T get the cancer, is lots of antioxidants in their foods. This has been illustrated with the epidemiological investigation of green tea drinkers and cancer incidence rates.

For exposure to be significant, it is usually noticeable. The one person I know who was exposed to that wood preservative, painted her deck and practically bathed in it. People who have had radiation therapy, or significant exposure to radiation know about it, usually. Cyclosphosphamide does not grow freely under trees.

Autoimmune disease,  especially thyroid,  seems  to  predispose  to  malignancy. Autoimmune disease relapses can be stress related. If there is less stress, there will be fewer autoimmune active spells, and fewer antibodies, and less chance of getting p53   DNA damage. Autoimmune disease itself probably develops from a combination of genetric susceptibility and possibly a viral trigger.

About smoking– there was one study done that showed DNA repair took longer in cells    of people who smoke.

In the words of a friend, it’s mostly a crapshoot. BUT it is not completely a crapshoot. There are predisposing factors, and there are things you can do to counteract those factors…

Among the environmental exposures associated with STS are:
Some cases of severe immunodeficiency [AIDS, transplant patients] show Epstein-Barr virus is sometimes implicated in LMS.
Sarcomas, including LMS, are associated with autoimmune thyroid disease, and associated with other autoimmune illnesses.
In some cases the genetic predisposition may have interacted with environmental determinants to produce particular tumors.

arsenical pesticides and medications,
chlorophenols,
phenoxy herbicides,
dioxin,
vinyl chloride,
immunosuppressive drugs,
alkylating agents,
androgen-anabolic steroids,
human immunodeficiency virus,
human herpes virus type 8 [Kaposi’s sarcoma]
chronically edematous arms after radical mastectomy for breast cancer (Stewart-Treves syndrome).

external radiation therapy (prevalence of radiation-induced sarcoma: 0.17-0.21%),
Thorotrast [a contrast Xray dye no longer used]…
In my last ten years of self discovery always turning over another stone….     I  have  always  found new books from ….  Incurable to Incredible where Tami Boehmer uncovers many inspiring cancer survivor stories. The one sticking out mostly to mean on my search to find the LMS Cure was Yvonne Cooper.  Finding the answer with the Bill Peeples Protocol …. (GOOGLE IT FOR YORSELF)!!!!

“Once the soul awakens, the search begins and you can never go back.”
–John O’DonohueThe soul of Patricia Moreira-Cali has been stirred into full life by a purple dragon known as leiomyosarcoma. It is a rare and aggressive form of cancer, and for women it usually starts in the uterus…. PATRICIA has also embarked on a journey of healing and self-discovery since April 23, 2013. It hasn’t always been an easy road, as the chemotherapy has let to some brutal side-effects on her body, but she tries her best not to give in to the Purple Dragon…
On April 23, 2013, Patricia’s uterine “fibroids” were found to be cancerous, and she     began a perilous journey that continues today. She so bravely talks about her first year after the diagnosis in her book, “My Journey with the Purple Dragon.” She goes into vulnerable detail about her emotional experiences and her search for a cure.
“Friends and family are not with you at all times of the day and night,” she wrote. “You are alone when the tears seem endless, when the sorrow is so painful that it’s hard to breathe, when the grief cuts through your core, when you long for the freedom to feel healthy, and when you are introduced to death, and somehow you befriend it.”She experiments with a variety of complementary treatments while doing conventional chemotherapy. “I have no doubt that the treatment of cancer, and many other chronic diseases, requires a holistic approach,” she wrote. Among her choices were to visit John of God in Brazil, and she describes her experiences there.
Gradually, the reader witnesses Patricia’s inner transformation. “A new me is emerging, growing and flourishing, somehow,” she writes. When she reaches the end of her first year of treatment, she finds an enviable place of serenity. “I have detached from much illusion, and I feel mostly at peace within.”
The book is self-published and could benefit from professional editing, yet overall it is a moving story of courage and a roadmap for others on the journey with cancer.
Profits from Patricia’s book sales go to leiomyosarcoma research and to support a poor child with cancer through her non-profit Helping Children Heal (HCH). Her book can     be ordered at http://www.purpledragonjourney.com/order-now/

…AS the old year became 2016.  I was ask to explain what happen to Rosa Parkin. HOW could one member of our facebook goup be doing so well… only to have it all turn out so horribly wrong for her the 1st Week of September.  MY first thought  would be blame the chemotherapy see mixed with the natural or cannabis oil. With the second thought being maybe the travel strain  and pressure she faced toward the end  or  the Oregon Trip from the U.K.  She also took to find the quality and affordable cannabi…s oil she seeked.  With mY third thought being:  Leiomyosarcoma… being an aggressive type of cancer ~ maybe she should have tried  the lesser toxic known cancer treatment  that we are now starting   to realize.  That might be a better bet  than this guessing game  we often find us in trying    to figureout the answers in the groups.

What I do know about Rosa is this: when she was DX with LMS she was given only two years to survive  and in the end it was two years five days.  However,  when she came into our group October 2014. She had a 8cm tumor in her uterus preventing her from walking. With renewed hope and awareness…. in only a few days  she was out of her bed.  Learning all about newer options and meeting new friends in the cancer groups on Facebook with a positive outlook on her outcome.

Rosa tried many things and in the end was pain free and had peace within herself. Being guided to heaven with the magical oil by her side.  Looking back  I so realize things happen for a reason and Rosa was very fortunate meeting the people from the groups she found on Facebook and couldn’t Thank Enough…  R.i.P.  MY Dear Friend

Rosa Parkin's Profile PhotoRosa Parkin

Since that September date when I received the devastating news. I have continued on my search for the answer that would finally slay the purple dragon. Learning through a relapse and recovery of a Former Facebook Friend from Thailand that Immunotherapy helped her twice to become cancer free of the dreadful dragon.  Learning when it comes to aggressive cancer one best be keeping all options open.

Within the conventional realm: Three leading sarcoma specialist treating sarcomas are Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. John Healey whom talks about the specialized care people with sarcoma — cancer of the bone or muscle — receive  at  Memorial Sloan-Kettering in NYC.   Dr.  Healey is generally regarded as one of the best in the world treating sarcoma’s!!!!

Dr. Suzanne George M.D. clinical responsibilities involve working extensively with the multidisciplinary team  within  the Center for Sarcoma and Bone Oncology  at  the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  I treat  and provide consultation to many patients with sarcoma both from the New England area, other parts of the United States and from abroad.  I am actively involved in the clinical research aspects of our program. Specifically I am working with our research team to developing and executing new clinical trials focusing on therapy for metastatic soft tissue sarcoma as well as being involved in the execution of ongoing clinical trials in our group.

Also Dr. Pasquale Benedetto is a board-certified, fellowship-trained professor at the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive cancer Center. He received his medical doctorate at the Weill Medical College of Cornell university in New York City, New York. David Octavio Gandell,  a 2 time Cancer Survivor believed that God would heal him and that Dr. Pasquale W. Benedetto, M.D, was God’s instrument.  Dr. B was the only Doctor that asked to take the case,  no one believed  their was anything  that could save his life and in this special interview … Dr.  Benedetto speaks  about David’s Faith  and Miracle       as he exceeded all expectations.

My Thoughts on Cancer

I don’t know much about other cancers,  but I look up hormone driven breast cancer             a lot because this is what I am in remission from.  I also think breast cancer needs to be approached in an integrative fashion  to include chemo,  radiation,  surgery,  medicines  and complementary protocols. To do it any other way, is in my opinion, playing Russian Roulette and plain suicide.

This includes  Vitamin C (Iv or liposomal ), Mushroom (esp. Coriolus), Frankincense, NAC,  Lugol’s iodine,  Reservatol,  2 Tablespoon ground flax seed everyday, and circumin with pepperine,  vitamin D3,  B-complex,  selenium,  wheat germ extract,  DIM, and  IC3, sulphoraphane (these last 3 relate to hormone driven cancer).

A good diet is essential as well to keep your immunity up, reduce carcinogenic and inflammatory foods and to prevent and reduce angiogenesis. An interesting TED talk about eating to starve cancer!!!

Getting to bed by 10:00 to maintain melatonin levels is great.

Exercise is essential as well, but not the type to wear you down and exhaust you but the type to give you a medium workout and increase your energy and well being, like yoga.

Alkalinity is great, too. Blood pH values compatible with life in mammals are limited to     a pH range between 6.8 and 7.8.  Changes in the pH of arterial blood (and therefore the extracellular fluid)  outside this range result in irreversible cell damage.   When we talk about any range outside of this I believe people are talking about urine pH level  which  has a wider range.

In a pH balanced body. urine is slightly acid in the morning, (pH = 6.5 – 7.0) generally becoming more alkaline (pH = 7.5 – 8.0) by evening in healthy people primarily because no food or beverages are consumed while sleeping. Whereas,  during  the  day  the  body buffers the pH of the food and beverages consumed by releasing electrolytes and the pH level goes up.

Generally, when urine pH is 6.0 and below for extended periods of time, it’s an indication that the body’s fluids elsewhere are too acid,  and it is working overtime  to rid itself of an acid medium. Thus, when urine pH is normal, then the blood pH is normal, but when the urine pH  is overly acid,  the  body  releases  too  many  electrolytes  to keep  the pH level normal and maintain life.   One keeps themselves  within  the  urine alkalinity range with lots of alkaline foods, ie: green vegetables.  This helps decrease stress on the body, give it vital nutrients and once again, keep immunity strong.

Doing complementary protocol alongside conventional will limit  side effects and boost   its effectiveness.  I had rock in the sock treatment last year and had no side effects except loss of hair. I felt great whilst I endured 4 rounds of dose dense Adriamycian and Cytoxan at two weeks apart.  This was followed by 12 rounds of weekly taxol.  My immunity stayed within range.   I had no mouth ulcers or neuropathy.   I did put ice packs  on my feet  and hands during chemo to prevent neuropathy.  I  went  to  Mexico  for  local radiofrequency hyperthermia to my breast  with temperatures up to 107 degrees  and  whole body sound frequency hyperthermia up to 104 degrees.

Germany has an excellent hyperthermia protocol and local, whole body and regional machines.  I would have preferred to have went  to Germany,  however,  due to financial constraints, I could not. There is only one place in Mexico that does local radiofrequency hyperthermia (which I prefer).  That is Sanoviv.  Nowhere in Mexico is  radiofrequency whole body hyperthermia given.  They only have sound frequency.   And the Mexican protocol only allows for one hour treatment.  German treatment in 5-6 hours.

I  have a very good high school friend, Nancy, who had stage 3 hormone driven cancer 7 years ago.  She followed the conventional protocol without any complementary. One year later it returned in her bones.  She was so mad,  she refused to do any more conventional and focused heavily on alternative.  She even went to the Budwig Clinic in Spain and two years later the cancer had covered her hips, thighs, shoulders, arms, spine, skull, sternum and a spot in her brain. Her tumor markers were well over 2,000.

She was on her deathbed. She finally decided to go to BioMed in Germany, where she’s had extensive hyperthermia,  mistletoe injections  and  intravenous vitamin C.  She also started incorporating conventional medicine into her protocol.  Not chemo, radiation or surgery, though.  The cancer is now out of her bones  except for a spot  on her shoulder and the brain lesion cannot be currently found.  Her tumor markers are down to about 150.  She feels great.

My mother – in – law  had  DCIS.   She went to some very expensive clinics in Southern California  and one place in Arkansas for photodynamic therapy,  that has now been shut down by the feds.  She then went onto have a lumpectomy.  She must have spent well over 60K at the clinics, when in retrospect all she really needed was a lumpectomy.  When I got diagnosed she was the first to tell me I needed to imagine the cancer away.  That I brought it on by my own stress related issues and bad diet. (I actually ate very well,  however,  I did like the sugar).

She convinced me that chemo and radiation would kill me.  I was so scared.   I knew nothing of cancer.  My own experience was when my grandmother died of pancreatic cancer. (my grandmother was like a mother to me, since she raised me).  It was brutal   and horrifying.  She was diagnosed at Stage 4 upon presentation.  That means chemo, surgery, etc was not an option.  She just had to ride it out and die.  Which she did and        it took 6 months.  I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy

My father died of throat cancer.  I didn’t know him well, but know he suffered.  I don’t know his protocol.  But basically,  all I knew was that  it seemed like conventional was a failure.  It  failed  for  my  friend,  Nancy and my grandmother.  Yet, my mother – in – law seemed to come out of it fairly unscathed and she healed herself “naturally”, as she called it.  She told me that when she went in for the lumpectomy that there was no blood supply to the tumor.  I now know  DCIS does not have a blood supply.  It has not turned invasive yet.  It is in situ, meaning it is encapsulated and angiogenesis has not occurred.

When I first found a lump, my mother in law was the first person I went to.  She and many others in the circle I ran discouraged mammography.   I was afraid of it for lots of reasons, so I went for a thermography who told me it was a cyst and that my hormones were out of whack.   This was the best guy in town.   He had written books on the subject,  also taught seminars at the local complementary healthcare practitioners and was even a professor at a college.

He told me to use a progesterone cream to balance my hormones and  I had fibrocystic breasts  and  to expect more lumps.  I immediately  went on an anti-inflammatory  and alkaline diet.  It also included supplements to balance my hormones and vitamin C IVs.  All of which are part of the anti-cancer protocol as it turned out.

So after a year of feeling more lumps, I experienced what seemed like mastitis and I was feeling very sick and in a lot of pain.  I went to medical doctor thinking it was an infection.  She immediately suspected cancer and sent me for all the tests. By then I had a 8cm tumor with lymphnode involvement.  This is HUGE!   The cancer was estrogen and progesterone positive.  I suspect the progesterone cream had fed the cancer as well.

I had many friends and family beg me not to do conventional. Some even said all I needed to do was pray.   I was scared of conventional and agreed but how was I going to pay to go to Germany?  My friend went 4 times at 25K per trip.  What if I died anyway and left my family homeless and penniless?    After fighting with my husband (the only person who told me to do chemo), I finally gave in.

After my PET scan it was apparent I had fluid on my heart and inflammation throughout my body.   I now know it was the effect of a paraneoplastic syndrome.  My immunity was very strong and fighting the cancer.  However,  in  doing  so  it was also fighting my body.  As soon as I got on chemo,  I felt sooooooo much better.  My father-in-law said he would pay for one trip to Germany as long as I gave up chemo.  It was such a difficult decision.   To be honest, I turned to God for my decisions.

I felt I couldn’t trust myself anymore.  I couldn’t tell what was real from what wasn’t.  Nothing made sense anymore. In the end, I didn’t go. I felt it was too much of a risk and  As soon as I got off chemo, the paraneoplastic kicked in again and I lost sight in my right eye, couldn’t lift my left arm, had muscle fasiculations  and  paresthesias  throughout my body and a bunch of other weird things.  I was sent for a brain MRI and 3 lesions were found on my brain.

I was told the cancer had spread and I had a year to live following brain surgery and  radiation.  In a twist of fate and act of God, my insurance messed up and I had to switch my team of doctors to a new one that accepted my new insurance.  I ended up at U.C.S.D. and they ran more MRI’s, did a spinal tap and after consultations with neuro oncologists and neurologists it was determined to be something called capillary telangctasia (benign abnormality).  Not brain metastasis. Phew!

That was the hardest month,  I’ve ever had to endure  and  a very dark time in my life.     Also The thought of having  to say goodbye  to my children put me over the edge.  I was    put on steroids  for  five  days  and my symptoms greatly decreased.  I finally had breast surgery and my symptoms decreased even further. Presently, I  hardly have any of these symptoms.  In retrospect,  my body fighting the cancer  may very well have saved me.  I kept my immunity up, I believe this did not kill the cancer,  but gave it a good fight and prevented it from spreading.

Following chemo, the 8 cm tumor had reduced to just a few specks. I had 3 positive lymph nodes with micro amounts of cancer in them.  None of this could  actually be seen on MRI, it was only seen upon pathology staining. This is an astonishing result given the amount of high grade cancer I had and the fact it is a hormone driven. While Hormone driven tumors doesn’t shrink as much as hormone negative.  The doctor truly believe I’m probably cured.  However,  I discovered I have the BRCA2 gene, so I will have to live a prophylactic lifestyle from now on.   Had I not done conventional, I believe I would be dead by now.  I will never advocate alternative on it’s own unless it’s an in situ case, such as my mother in laws.

BRCA mutations and a few other gene mutations have been identified as making one susceptible to cancer. I believe there are many more that have yet to be identified. This is where gene therapy becomes very exciting  and so the road to customized cancer therapy based  on  one’s specific gene begins.   I am thinking about becoming an advocate for my scientist friend, Brunhilde Felding, PhD.    She  heads the Scripps Cancer Laboratories in   La Jolla, California and focuses heavily on genomic and immunotherapy. She is currently studying how mitochondrial aberrations in the cell can lead to cancer and how this can be corrected.  Finding a cause is the first step in finding a cure.

Learn in his video series how to destroy cancer cells with whole body hyperthermia and PEMF  at the world renown  Paracelsus clinic in Switzerland.  Dr. Thomas Rau explains  how heat destroys cancer cells and boosts the immune system.

Image may contain: 1 person, smilingHi Ken – everyone. As requested, and as is  my mission.   I’ll briefly summarize and share my journey.  Prior to my cancer diagnosis I always had major Work and financial stress. They are still there. They are the only reason that it’s still there.  That and I have been single for almost seven years  and I am a person who is happy in a relationship. I left a toxic relationship with the intention of being happy.  To be clear – work,  finance and loneliness  are the only reasons my tumour is still there. It’s stays the same size and it hasn’t grown.

 .
In September, 2014 I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. Multifocal (two tumours that feel like one). Stage 2-3 due to the combined size (approximately 4 cm at their widest – combined). However, No metastasis. I had my first and last mammogram, CT scan, ultrasound and bone scan. I refused biopsy due to risk of metastasis. They were convinced it was malignant.
They scheduled an open frozen section biopsy to be followed by a mastectomy in the     event of a malignancy. I cancelled. They scheduled. I cancelled. They scheduled and I cancelled again. The timing of the release of the Truth About Cancer couldn’t have been better. I watched the series. I stopped crying. I walked away. Intact. Ultimately I agreed    to a biopsy just days before I was scheduled to go to Mexico for treatment.
I went to the Oasis of Hope. Good people. I’m glad I went as it gave me the immersion  needed to stop the cancer in its tracks. Other than the support of my sister, I was on my own in figuring this out. My new life. But knowing what I know now, I would rather guide people to the more local resources available as the treatment is very expensive and is for but a short period of time. It’s not sustainable.  Now I know where I can get hyperthermia up here, and Laetrile in Canada. It pays to check around locally before venturing long distance. Although that  can become unsustainable as well.  So I bought the equipment instead – sauna – rife – rebounder.
The doctors down there wanted the biopsy. IDC HER+. I went to Mexico for 3 weeks. Hyperthermia, ozone, vitamin C. Laetrile. vitamin K and neutraceuticals. Also Of course, organic vegan diet. I went once more for a week about three months later. At home I have followed a mostly vegan diet, but not enough. I know. Must enjoy the life I’m saving. I can do better. That’s for sure. But many do worse. I went to a medical herbologist. I’ve used all kinds of things, switching it up. Essiac tea.  MSM.  Turmeric  and  honey  and pepper and olive oil. Resveratrol. Melatonin. Zinc. Magnesium. Juicing. Dandelions. Dandelion roots. Ground flax seeds. Whole lemons. Essential oils (LOVE my essential oils so much that I have decided to actively promote them (www.healthandwealthwithessentialoils.ca).

I also do Epsom salt baths, Coffee enemas. I bought that a Rife machine (GB400 MOPA with plasma amplifier). I do Bob Beck’s protocol and many protocols  cancertutor.com. Also rebounding – Infrared sauna. I Filter my water to eliminate chlorine and fluoride. Therefore, My tumour remains (but so does my breast). It will shrink (my tumour – hopefully, not my breast 😀 ). It took years to grow (my tumour – AND my breast). Have to laugh! Best medicine! Patience. I’m thankful every day. I have no regrets. I’ve never EVER felt sick. I haven’t missed a day from work due to illness; just a few appointments and during my trip to Mexico.
I’ll never forget that period of time before I had the information that ended up saving        my life. Dark days. Very dark. I lost my excitement for life and, indeed, didn’t care if I died. I had no interest in a post-chemo and post-mastectomy life. I left an unhappy marriage, was looking forward to starting a new chapter. Thats was placed upon me. I can only think the reason wasn’t a cruel one, but was, and is, a teaching opportunity.
My biggest fear realized. Always worried about cancer – and my kids. We don’t worry anymore. We are cautious. We sometimes cross the line. However we are doing better than most.  Our eyes are open.  My kids now know not to believe ever thing that is issued to us by doctors an governments aren’t necessarily being in our best interests. It’s been worth it. I’m so thankful for this experience. I will continue to fight for the rest of my life. The truth is, we all have to.
Family Support Always Helps

May 25, 2016

Dear Mr. Biden:

This seems unreal. I can’t believe I have this opportunity to share my story. I hope and pray you’ll actually read it! I don’t know how much space I have in this window, so I’ll cut to the chase, and please forgive me if I sound cold and blunt. This is a story that is heavy on my heart because it nearly destroyed my family.

I’m a mother of four and got cancer from an MS drug (an autoimmune disease they’re curing in Mexico, by the way).  My step-dad  and  I battled the same “rare” cancer  (non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma) at the very same time: he died, and I survived (imagine how awful this time was for my mother).  When all the traditional treatments failed,  I  finally  beat cancer with a vitamin. Vitamin B17 (a.k.a. Laetrile/Amygdalin) is a concentrated form of apricot kernels (that’s assuming the fruit didn’t come from Monsanto, but that’s another story about GMOs).

Vitamin B17  is  found  in most fruit seeds:  apple seeds,  blackberry seeds, etc.  There     has been a cure  for  cancer  since BEFORE the 1970s,  and Doctors like  Dr. Richardson was using it to cure his patients in 1970 until the FDA shut him down and rumors were spread  about  arsenic being found in apple seeds.  According  to  Dr. Krebs Jr.,  whom discovered Vitamin B17,  it  works  on  ALL cancers  (his writings  can be found in medical textbooks to this day). Because Vitamin B17 is natural, it can’t be patented, so none of the higher-ups are interested in it. Millions of people are needlessly dying. Just like your son.

Here’s how it works: when B17 breaks through the trophoblastic cells that surround all cancer cells, it creates a chemical reaction, which then creates cyanide, killing the cancer cell, while feeding the healthy cells.  It’s a natural chemo  from  our  Heavenly Father. Please read Genesis 1:29 and you’ll see that God expects us to eat His seeds.

Years ago, a man named Jason Vale cured his cancer with apricot seeds and then      started selling it and telling everyone that it cured cancer. This landed him in prison!      We no longer have freedom of speech here in the “land of the free” because no one who sells the seeds  o r Vitamin B17  are  allowed  by  the  FDA  to  say  it  cures cancer.  Our insurance company is United Healthcare,  and  do you know  what they specifically list         as “not covered?”  Vitamin B17 and Cannabis Oil.  (Yes, cannabis oil is another natural treatment that cures cancer.      Here’s just ONE of the many stories: http://www.bravemykayla.com.)

Again, none of these cures can be patented and won’t make Big Pharma and the FDA money. Cancer is Big Business. We no longer donate to “Run for the Cure” fundraisers,    or any type of program  like  that  because the money simply goes to Big Pharma,  and when they bring their drugs to be approved by the FDA,  the  one with the most money wins. Please research this! You’ll see that the same people who run the FDA also run       Big Pharma companies. It’s unethical and should be illegal.

People who want “freedom of choice in cancer treatments” have to go to countries           like Mexico to get cured of their disease. Doctors in Mexico are curing autoimmune diseases that are incurable here in the States, not to mention cancer.  These cures       should be happening here. Here in the land of the free, not in third world countries. American doctors who’ve discovered these cures  and  who have a conscience have      taken their practices to places like Mexico ~ so that they can actually live up to their Hippocratic Oath.

Would you please allow “freedom of choice in cancer treatments?”                                         I’ll include links to prove my case. You can learn more about my story here:

http://beatcancerwithb17.blogspot.com/p/how-i-beat-cancer-with-b17.html. All I know    is I was supposed to die, but this simple vitamin cured me, and it can cure others too.

I was at Colorado University Hospital, and when everything failed, I told them I was   going  to  take B17.  They were willing to monitor me on it when usually they’d tell us an alternative we brought up was quackery.  If you contact them,  you can find out that I am cured (I’m still alive three years later, and I’m writing to you, so I’m cured). They told me to go home because what I was doing was better than anything they had to offer  (which was chemo and radiation). My doctors were: Dr. Han Myint  and  later Dr. Gutman.

Please ask yourself. How much money would the FDA and Big Pharma make if fewer people were sick? Please. Please help the American people. Please reclaim our freedoms    to be able to cure ourselves  with natural remedies  and have the freedom to choose how we want, not only ourselves, but also our CHILDREN to be treated. Please encourage insurance companies to cover natural treatments.  Please  have  medical  schools  teach natural treatments/remedies  to their aspiring doctors.  (My own family physician said      he felt cheated in his education after he saw what cured me.)  Please be the one to save         a nation from disease and death.

Finally, please try to get your hands on a DVD titled, “Second Opinion: Laetrile at Sloan-Kettering” (“Laetrile” is another name for “Vitamin B17”). Dr. Suriura’s comments during the press interview are very revealing and show how Sloan-Kettering suppressed the truth (HERE  is where you can get the video).  Below is my cancer blog,  along  with  other  links that tell the TRUTH about Vitamin B17.  I don’t make a profit off of B17 because I want to be able to tell my story and how it cured me.

Thank you so much for your time. If you want more information, I’ll be happy                     to provide it. I’d love to have you over for dinner, I’ll make pasta!

Many Blessings,

Sandi ~ I BEAT CANCER WITH VITAMIN B17
The principle of function is simple:
Cancer cells need large amounts of energy, or glucose, to develop and grow.  When you take vitamin B17,  cancer cells absorb the glucose molecule from the vitamin,  while the enzyme beta-glycosidase helps to release the benzaldehyde and cyanide from it, thereby destroying the affected cancer cells. Thanks to  high concentrations of beta-glycosidase enzymes, vitamin B17 is exceptionally deadly to cancer cells and at the same time completely harmless and non-toxic to healthy ones.

Benzaldehyde and cyanide are toxic elements, but in combination with the glucose molecules present in vitamin B17, they become inert and no longer have any toxic effects.

Ernst T. Krebs Jr., was an American biochemist who promoted various substances as alternative cures for cancer, including pangamic acid and amygdalin. According to him, “cancer was caused by a deficiency of Vitamin B 17 (Laetrile, Amygdaline).” (Krebs, E.T., Jr., cited by Howenstine, J., 2007)

As Dr. James Howenstine, MD (2007), explains, “no person eating a high nitriloside(Vitamin B 17) diet (Hunzas, Eskimos, Hopi Indians) or voluntarily taking a high intake   of nitriloside containing foods has ever developed cancer.” He further adds,  “the food with the highest quantity of Vitamin B-17(laetrile) is in the pit of apricots.”

Other seeds that contain vitamin B17:

  • Grapes
  • Peaches
  • Apples
  • Pears
  • Plums
  • Nectarines
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries

The recommended daily dose is 5 to 7 apricot seeds for prevention.

Diseased people should consume 1-2 seeds every hour, but not more than 35 seeds a day.

The maximum dose can be determined by dividing your body weight with 3, and the result that you get is the maximum number of apricot seeds that you can consume in the course of a day.

Sean Swarner

The first cancer survivor to stand on the top of the world!

With only one functioning lung, a prognosis of fourteen days to live, and being in a medically-induced coma for a year, Sean Swarner is the first cancer survivor to stand       on top of the world… Mt. Everest. Sean has broken through defined human limitation       in order to redefine the way the world views success.

Sean having grown up in Willard, Ohio was diagnosed with two deadly, different, and unrelated forms of cancer,  once at the age  of  thirteen and again  at the age of sixteen.  After an incredibly poor prognosis,  and  being read  his last rites,  Sean astounded the medical community  when  he  survived  both  these brutal diseases.  He  realized  that      after defeating cancer twice,  no challenge would ever be too great, no peak too high.

Sean proved his theory when he crested the peak of Mt. Everest. As the first cancer survivor to do so, Sean decided to continue climbing and has since topped the highest peaks in Africa,  Europe,  South America,  Australia,  Antarctica,  and North America,   thus completing the “7-Summits”.

With the completion of the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, Sean has his      sights on trekking to the Poles at the top and bottom of the world.

As Sean continues to defy the odds, test his own endurance and inspire and motivate people around the world,  he shares his message of healing,  hope,  and triumph with cancer patients worldwide.  Sean also serves as a source of inspiration as the founder       of  the non-profit organization, The CancerClimber Association, as author of the book     “Keep Climbing,”  and as a motivational speaker to corporations,  universities,  and     other organizations around the globe.

Sean Swarner will continue to Keep Climbing and defy boundaries in order to change     the way people think.  He has been called  the  most powerful inspirational speaker ever    by such companies as IBM, Roche, Amgen, and countless organizations and universities around  the globe.  He has an uncanny ability  to  empower  people  to  climb  their  own Everest in both life and in business. After hearing Sean speak, your life will never be the same.   ♡♡♡♡♡

Edie’s Mission ~ A Walk of Joy

Cancer sufferer Edie Littlefield Sundby (with her husband Dale)

Published on Feb 16, 2013

To celebrate six years of being alive, fighting Stage 4 gallbladder cancer with metastasis to liver and lung, Edie Sundby walked the 800 mile El Camino Mission Trail … Edie walked on average 14 and a half miles a day over a 55-day period. “I am fighting to stay alive not because I fear death, but because I love life. I thank God every day for this life, and I want there to be more, though that’s not known. What is known is that I’m alive today, this minute. And that’s pretty much what we all have – this day, this moment.”

“I walked the old unmapped old mission trail that stretches from San Diego to north of San Francisco to rid myself of the terror of cancer, and to overcome the fear of it coming back. It took hundreds of miles walking to just begin to rid my heart of six years of fear. That fear may never completely fade, but actively engaging life – whatever that may involve – reminds me of the joy each day can bring.”

“The long walk was a slow remembering of how profound and wonderful life is; along     the old trail God is everywhere and in everything. Wherever I look I am looking at God.”

“I came to realize that we are held in the hands of God and are utterly perfectly safe –        in life and in death.”
