Cancer Quick Facts

   How likely  you have a relative die of  cancer and you will die of  cancer. With family history  and  environment contributing  factors the likelihood   of  an  individual showing  signs  or  symptoms of  medical conditions  and disease of the same disease is slim to none. Chances of any given symptom  of any disease coming  from  family is 10 percent.

   Here’s why?  When  I look at my  “family tree”  all  my  relatives passed        for and  from different reasons.  I have had  some live passed in their 60’s,  70’s, 80’s and 90’s.  So it’s  far ~ fetched  to  reason any  and  all prominent health conditions might be inherited based upon family history. So if your concerned because you’re the splitting image ~ get  your regular check up   or appropriate screening test.

   However,  your  likelihood  of  passing  from  the same thing  is marginal.  Yet another myth to me  is body mass index ~ I’ve seen all types have cancer and that includes  the physical  fit as well as the obese. I  think  the  singular most important, however, is eating, drinking habits and how people handle emotional conflict ~ cope with the daily situations which causes depression and stress dictates you health.

   Stressful  events  knock down  your  immune system  which certainly can translate into accelerated growth of cancer cells. While continual stress and worry  from unresolved conflict might inhibit your bodys ability to  fight off cancer.  Another possibility  might be your nature – to – not – fight – if nature handles you a raw deal.  If  that  situation is  given ~ you must have a strong  immune system to  fight off  disease.

   Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, the originator of  Germanic New Medicine; being   a believer that stressful events unfold unexpectly  and  it’s  how well you will handle  the  unexpected  determines  your health.  Being  in  great  health  his entire life,  however,  on August 8, 1978 when his son was shot to death. Thus realizing, himself ~ by developing testicular cancer;  thought  this emotional shot to his constitution produced the illness.

  Just the thought of all those dandelion out in the yard I just mowed brings a  thought to mind.  Since starting this website:  I have started looking at all aspects of life in a whole new light. While many people look at the dandelion as a pesky weed in need of pesticides. I have a tendency to look at it… for it’s medicinal purposes  and  that as a blood purifier before  I get rid of  it out of my yard as well.

   A Windsor University Biochemist,  Dr. Siyaram Pandey;  reluctantly took up researching dandelion from oncologist, when Dr. Caroline Hamm noticed a   few  cancer  patients  whom  had  been  drinking  “dandelion  tea”  exhibit improvement.  Dr. Siyaram  whom was initially skeptical plunged head  first into this research  by working on leukemia blood samples  with  root extract. Also within the top tags is Cancer Procedures listed on youtube for each type of  cancer.  When I went though it with a  family….  I always  felt if  knowing beforehand would be a real stress reducer.

   Another reason  for this blog post is also what if all cancer patients would only look at their diet differently.  Knowing  the SuperFoods  to be eaten that would help them overcome this dreadful disease. How  it  helps  to  overcome and to reverse your condition …knowing what is correct and incorrect while trying to gain your health again.

  Seven plus years ago when I got the word that my  fathers type of cancer was incurable…. it was said they had to let it run it’s course.  I thought this can’t be happening in America 2005 ….we have advanced further than this.  I  was  angry  while thinking  no  one person  has  the  right  to  tell another human being they have a certain amount of time to live… it’s terminal.

  We as a civilized society should help those individuals and guide them to options,  thereby,  not  leaving  someone in the dark.  What  I  learned  over that proceeding 14 months was  sometimes in this political correct country filled  with  non sense.  Is  sometimes  your  best off  knowing  for  yourself rather than…  expecting  the  unknowing,  whom  think  they  have  all  the answers… to know  for you… and are better than you… because they think they have all the answers….

   Lesson learned:  that never give up or get hung up because of a negative prognosis. Always  look  for options  because  where  you  came  from  they  simply didn’t care enough to say we don’t know,  however, we will  findout  for you. What  a prognosis does  for  you  is tell you a range  of  what other people had with your condition,  but  doesn’t  convey  the  course  of  action you can take to help your conclusion.

    What my April blog post provided was inspiration of how other cancer survivors came up with  the plan that saved their own lives.  In those blogs Chris Wark  told how he was willing to do his own research  and  dedicated himself to a new diet filled with anti – cancer nutrients. Instead of enduring 9 months of chemotherapy which he thought at 26 years old was posioning his body to get better.

   Other  highlights  was  Brandy Green  using  persistence  of  finding her      own way to make  it  work  for  herself.  While  Max Block  turned  to  Mexico and Oasis of  Hope  and Kris Carr keeping a positive attitude while blocking out the negative stigma being labeled terminal and beating the odds against herself.  While Sharon Blynn moved  forward without thinking about it and flipped the script on her outcome while Howard Young found the best of the best  for treatment of pancreatic cancer.

  The Common Denominator: being each cancer survivor took charge in a proactive way  and  produced  a positive outcome.  By changing the habits that  produced the cancer in the  first place. While moving  forward with a plan after changing their outlook  and  not masking what happen to them. Taking  a negative diagnosis while  finding  HOPE  and  a plan of action to produce a positive outcome.

   This year alone 13 million people in the world  will be inflicted with     cancer and seven million will die  from it.  Roughly 1.5+ million people           in  the  United  States  will  be  diagnosed  and  65 percent  will survive.    We’re being told that a cure is underway,  however,  prevention might          be the key to success.  It’s  about  how  to  protect ~ preserve  our  cells         and DNA that might be the difference between winning and losing the battle.

    First and  foremost we must protect ourselves  from parasites  and      viruses. While eliminating any lingering waste in our liver, colon and kidneys. Secondly we must  fooducate: knowing the importance of the antioxidants in our diets. While avoiding the chemicals and additives, especially the GMO pesticides that causes cancer.

    Don’t consume cancer:  cancer is  a chemically driven disorder by         which cells differentiate. So don’t  fuel the epidemic which thrives off      those chemicals, thereby, avoiding all the chemical laden medicines.   Cancer has really only been  an  “epidemic”  in  the United States  for      about 75 years and before that there was rarely a case.

   One of  my main concerns  about cancer is that really could it be a        disease  originating  from  the  intestinal tract.  Therefore,  Dysbiosis       which  is  a  state of  living  with intestinal  flora  having  detrimental    effects. Toxic amines produced by bacterial putrefaction  of  food can     cause degenerative disease.

   To prove this  fact: one might only have to go back – in – time to the            early  1900’s  and  Elie Metchnikoff.  Whose  theory  was  that  certain     white blood cells  could  engulf  and  destroy  harmful bodies  such  as bacteria.  Being  the “Father of Immunology,” what  Metchnikoff  had discovered  and  championed was the theory phagocytic cells actively  defend the host body against pathogens and diseased cells.

   In the Month  of April:  I  showcased  cancer survivor stories with            some of  the best options to overcome certain types of cancer through awareness.  It’s  about  knowing  and  searching options  that provide  success in treatment.     For every type of cancer it’s always important to have a survivor in your corner.  No more so than breast cancer  and  the personal circumstance that surround the situation. Sometimes when you have an urgent need and start exploring the possibilities on the internet when it’s a crisis. Just  finding the right keywords to google can be quite mind numbing and baffling.

  With one of  the most intriquing  and  interesting cancer cases  I happen    upon being Dr. Kimberly Allison.  Whom  in  March  2008  being  33 years old  and  a  breast  cancer  pathologist.  Also recently having been  named Director of Breast Pathology  at  the University of  Washington in Seattle.  With  her diagnosis that was challenging to treat because the tumor cells lacked the receptors  for  estrogen  and  progesterone  that are associated  with more curable cancers.

   However the cells carried receptors for Her-2/neu, a growth factor that’s associated  with agressive cancer.  At diagnosis Dr. Kimberly’s  cancer had already spread to at least one lymph node  and  it was big, bigger  than  the average size being one – to – two centimeters.  Hers being seven centimeters might be a bit testy to treat.  Since  that  time Dr. Allison  has chosen to give something back, while mentoring other patients about her experiences she has written a book “Red Sunshine.”

   Greg Anderson  founder  of  Cancer Recovery International which  focus  on the human services side of cancer. This foundation provides adults with training, support  for  implementing  whole person  cancer prevention and survival strategies. Greg himself  being diagnosed in 1984 with metastatic stage IV lung cancer was given 30 days to live.

   Refusing  to accept  the  hopelessness  and  darkness  of  this  prognosis. Though power of prayer he went searching for people who had lived even though their doctors told them they were terminal.  That  was  almost  30 years ago and Greg is still alive and well.  NOW  he serves as a messenger    of  HOPE,  for someone that has a journey of near death to a healed life.

   Part  of  the  reason  that  surgeon  was  mistaken  is  no  healthcare provider  can  predict  a  patients  response to that verdict.  After only  a couple days  of  thinking  the  worse  and  that it wasn’t  his  decision,  he made the profound decision to live.  Refusing  to accept the  hopelessness     of  that  prognosis — he went searching  for people who had lived though      this dreadful ordeal.  While writing a  few books along the way!!!

Beating Lung Cancer References

   Having  faith in yourself  is showcased within this blog post  and the accompanying  video.  On  December 27, 2003  while  having  symptoms     and lacking verbalization to discribe it or explain it so her medical team      to  understand  what  she  was  going  through.  Brandy Green  with  her ordeal beginning on December 27, 2003 with unexplainable symptoms.

   It wasn’t until April 26, 2004  her 6 centimeter wide tumor was  found   with  tentacles  having  ripped  through  her cervics  and  attached  to the bladder. At this moment in time through power of  prayer did she start a miracle  of  living  with  glassy cell carcinoma.  Which  she  learned  later only  effects  three  patients  in  the entire  Southeast  each  year  with  a    zero survival rate.

   Some  of  the tips  for Brandys survival was her harrowing search  for promise.  She surrounded herself with positive people for support, while searching  for second opinions and keeping a notebook ~ journal  of  her experiences  and answers to the tons  of  questions  for  future reference.      So the questions overtime …wouldn’t become muddled with thoughts…   NOW what did they tell me.

   Another exacto… within this video  was  her persistent search to  find  a survivor of her type of cancer.  Which started June 2004  and  wasn’t  until December right before Christmas did she find a present gift wrapped under    the Christmas tree  through the usage of  a Cancer Survivor Search website and  email  she  recieved.  The message being  never give up  on  yourself  or your search  for the vital answers  for cancer.
