What Causes Cancer

I have to again state the main goal of Cancer Quick Facts @ Solitarius.org is to provide a centralized hub of cancer research. With the risk of  plagorism  violations  or  copyright infringement….  which  isn’t  the  case  on  the  internet.  My  main  goal  is  providing  the visitant a compass  for a  direction  without  credit  for  the  answer to cancer.  Each  time  the  visitant  clicks  onto  a  link externally  and  enters into anothers website thats giving them credit. So how can that be a violation or infringement on anyboby’s rights.

Often  family  members  have  certain  risk  factors  in  common,  such as smoking which can cause many types  of  cancer.  Abnormal  genes  that  are passed  along  from  generation  to  generation,  that is  often  referred  to  as inherited cancer causing 5% to 10% of all cancers. Do impart only  5% to 10%  of all cancers is caused by abnormal genes going array.

Which breaks down into inherited gene mutations or acquired (somatic) mutations.  Genes seemingly,  have  two major roles  in  the  development  of cancer.  Some that’s called oncogenes  can cause cancer,  others  also  known as tumor suppressor genes stop cancer from developing or growing.

Oncogenes, Tumor Supressor Genes and Cancer: oncogenes are mutated forms  of  certain  normal genes  of  the  cell  called  proto- oncogenes.  Proto – oncogenes  are  often  genes  that  normally control what kind  of  cell it is and how  often  it  grows  and  divides.  When  a  proto – oncogenes  mutates (changes) into an oncogene, it turns on or activates when it is not supposed to be.

When this occurs the cell grows out  of  control while turning into cancer.   A tumor suppressor gene is like the brake pedal  of  a car.  It  normally  keeps the  cell  from  dividing to quickly  as  a  brake keeps  the  car  from moving to fast. An important difference between the oncogenes  and  tumor suppressor genes.  The oncogenes result  from  the activation of  turning  off   the proto-oncogenes,  however,  the tumor suppressor genes causes cancer when they are inactivated (turned off.)

Even  if  you  were  born  with  healthy genes, some  of  them  can  become changed (mutated) over the course  of  your life. These mutations are known as sporadic or somatic, meaning they are not inherited.  Sporadic mutations cause most cases  of  cancer. Those mutations ….may be caused  by direct 0r  indirect carcinogens that we are exposed to  in  our  environment,   including cigarette smoke,  radiation,  hormone imbalances,  diet  (although  in  many cases there is no obvious cause.)

Most genes mutations build up as we get older, leading to a higher risk of cancer. When someone has inherited an abnormal copy of  a gene, their cells start out  with  one  mutation.  This  makes  it  all  the  easier (and quicker for enough mutations to build up….  for  a cell to  become cancer.  Although  in  a perfect world,  if  smokers  wouldn’t smoke which causes  30%  of  all cancers and governments wouldn’t have  to  raise additional tax revenue  from  it;  to pay  off  the cost of  the health harzards  from it.

What It Is… Might Become

Looking back through the blog post  for the last several months.  I see hope that the    answers to cancer are in Solitarius. What it is…. is a centralized hub of cancer research: for those visitants looking  for cancer quick facts  or  for the cancer patient searching for facts on cancer. Either way through the power of the internet alot of vital information is in one website.

When I started researching for this personal blog seven years ago,  it was   for the reason so much is unexplainable while dealing with others whom are dealing with this dreadful disease.  Also for those times…. when you run into others during conversation,  one being  Mr. Z from a neighboring community whom you talk to and is 92 years old and looks like 82 years old. Who is a bit overweight…. is still healthy and active farmimg.

In other instances:  some are in their early to mid 50’s and aren’t healthy. While weighing in at the correct body mass index and are either dealing with colon cancer  or  heart disease.  Maybe for another reason…. explain how one farmer  can  get  cancer…. while their neighbor is healthy as a fiddle.  My own father worked years as a machinist with arms and hands exposed to a known carcinogen, “coolant for machining” with a known cause of bladder cancer.

While some experts argue the genetics and nutritional arguement as more and  more  cancer  patients  die. Throughout  the   first  year  which  was  one long  –  full year  of  wonderment.  I created a progressive one blog post after the other while providing better information then the blog post before them. In this blog post my aim is to go back and bring information  forward  while  creating a website that is highly accessible and easier to navigate.

Is To Much Of A Good Thing… A Good Thing: a daily multi – vitamin             is it a good thing good or simply a waste of money….

O – GLcNacylation: how sugar acts as a poison triggering high rates            of obesity, diabetes and wrecking our train of thought….

Mercury Madness: does consuming fish cause health issues….

Hydrogen Sulphide: will the “amino acids”  in redmeat turn sulphur      into  Hydrogen Sulphide….

Down To The Wire: this blog post includes the best websites which are    truly informative in anyones search for answers to cancer….

Inflammatory Response: inflammatory cholesterol is the true evil      behind heart disease….

Nitrogen Balance: the importance of protein and how it benefits your      life as you age….

A Cure Through Prevention: explains some of the more popular carcinogens that causes cancer….

Solitarius… 0ne year later: exploring some of the main highlights of               this website in it’s first year….

An Ounce of Prevention:  from the Beehive States belief of clean living          to Dr. Olivier Ameisen experience with the Demons of Alcohol….

Connecting The Dots: is about some of the options available to  patients in the medical field….

Organize This Kaotic System: included is my Links  for information            on the 18 major types of cancer….

The Anerobic Effect of Cancer: The Hot Tips of July links are vital information as is metabolising glucose through exercise….

Integrative Medicine: introduces the visitant to some of the better Integrative Medical Centers in Arizona with treatment options….

The Good and The Bad Of It:  proper ratio’s of carbohydrates,  fats               to protein in your diet is very beneficial….

Bridge Over Troubled Water: I’m harping about Vitamin Deficiencies again…. you better believe I think it vitally important….

Power of Positive Thinking: Chinese Qigong  “Life Energy”  is  the         practice of aligning breath, movement and awareness for exercise             into  healing  and mediation through the lymphatic system….

Hopefully,  what might be in the  future with Solitarius.org  is a landing strip for those visitants looking for an Answer to Cancer. Also included will be a cancer patient  forum where one cancer tell of a success story  for their type of cancer. While lending support to others helping them overcome the the obstacles by reading others experiences. Which doctors  and  hospitals  services they utilized for long term duration of cancer remission.

Is To Much Of A Good Thing… A Good Thing

A daily multi – vitamin  shouldn’t be a replacement  for a healthy diet. Yes… We all  know  the  virtues  of  leafy green vegetables  and  whole grains,  but convenience  and  cravings  that  leads  us  astray.  However,  none  of  us  is perfect and even my  friends wait  for me to eat an occasional slice of pizza  to remind me of that.  When it comes to healthy eating…. multi – vitamins  aren’t partial protections  from those lapses  from a  80/20 diet of clean eating.  I’ve had people tell me already ….I don’t eat foods with vitamins and minerals…. because vitamins and minerals aren’t good for you???

Some people scarf down mega doses,  an approach most experts disagree with, while taking very large doses can cause symptoms and stopping them suddenly can lead to symptoms of vitamin deficiency; it’s also important to take a quality multi – vitamin that has all the standard quantities.  It’s also well established  that a trio of  B – vitamins — B6,  B12  and  folate — lowers homocysteine levels.

Homocysteine is an amino acid that’s a risk factor for heart attack,  stroke and  dementia.  The logical supposition: while  having  an  ample  supply  of B’s coursing through your blood veins  (and arteries) is  essential  and  could improve  your  chances  of  avoiding  cardiovascular  disease  and  cognitive decline  to  healthy  folks.  However with this  research  patients  in  some  of these studies had homocysteine levels that were normal or slightly elevated and may not apply to people with higher levels.

Some of the best results from a randomized controlled trial published in the New England Journal of  Medicine (NEJM)  in April 2006.  Showed that while B vitamins lowered homocysteine levels, those studies results showed their  weren’t  fewer  heart  attacks  or  other  major  cardiovascular  events.  A second disappointing study was published in NEJM in 2006. Despite their homocysteine – lowering prowess B vitamins were no better than placebo at protecting people from cognitive decline.

Multi – vitamins…. which are already part of some health experts official recommendations.   Also the Federal Government’s 2005 Dietary Guidelines suggest that people older then 50 years old, should  take  them  as  away  of ensuring adequate vitamin intake.  And the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention  advises  all  women  of  child  bearing  age  to  take  folic  acid — because doing so lowers the risk of  birth defects.

Also remember the importance of vitamin D deficiencies creating a higher risk of cancer. On average Americans have a vitamin D level in the 25Ng/ml level on average and that amount should be  between 60  and  70 Ng/ml.  So if  you take a multi – vitamin… be sure to buy a major  name  or  store brand product that meets standardized guidelines. When Consumers Union tested cut – rate products, it  found  almost  half  didn’t  contain the listed amounts of at least one nutrient.

The National Institute of Health convened a meeting on Multi – Vitamins   and Mineral Supplements in May 2006.  The resulting statement  from that conference was extremely cautious. Present evidence is thereby insufficient to recommend….. either for or against….  the use of multi – vitamins/multi – mineral supplements  by  the  American  public  to  prevent  chronic disease which was the inconclusive conclusion.

0-GLcNacylation

Americans  eat  alot  of  sugary  foods  as  we  know  this  habit  is quite probably    wrecking  our  bodies.  While  also  triggering  high  rates  of  obesity,  diabetes  and    also at the same time wrecking our train of thought. That’s the disturbing conclusion emerging in a body of  research  that links  Alzheimers disease  to  insulin  resistance,  which  in  turn  is  than linked  to  excessive artificial sweetner consumption.

Scientists  have known  for some time  that  insulin regulates  blood sugar, “giving the cue  for muscles,  the liver  and  fat cells to extract sugar from the blood and either use it for energy or store it as fat,”  New Scientist Magazine a U.K. Magazine also reports, “trouble begins when our muscle, fat and liver cell’s  STOP  responding  properly to insulin — that is,  they  STOP  taking  in glucose.”    Also what is the Connection Between Sugar & Arthritis?

This condition known as insulin resistance and  also prediabetes causes the pancreas to produce excess amounts of  insulin,  even as,  excess glucose builds up in the blood.  Type II Diabetes, in essence, is the chronic condition of  excess blood glucose  which symptoms  include  frequent bladder, kidney and  skin infections, fatique, excess hunger and erectile dysfunction.

Here in the United States, Type II Diabetes rates have tripled since 1980. What’s emerging is that insulin also regulates neurotransmitters, like that of acetylcholine; which are crucial for memory and learning. That’s not all, “it’s  also  important  for the  function  and  growth  of  blood  vessels. Which supply the brain with oxygen and glucose.  As a result reducing the level of  insulin in the brain can immediately impair cognition.”

So when people develope insulin resistance,  insulin spikes also begin to overwhelm the brain. Which can’t constantly be on high alert and then bad things  happen,  either those changes  associated  with  Type II Diabetes,  or seperately;  the brain may begin to turn down it’s insulin signalling,  while impairing your ability to think and form recent memories before leading to permanent neural damage and eventually Alzheimers.

Chillingly,  scientist also have been able to induce these conditions in lab animals.  At her laboratory  at  Brown University,  Suzanne De’ la Monte whose  experiments  blocked insulin  to  flow into the brains of  mice while essentially inducing Alzheimer. When  she  examined  their brains here is what she found as described by New Scientist.

Areas  associated  with  memory  were  studied  with  bright  pink  plaque,    while  many  neurons  had  toxic  protein that was disintegrated — they lost their  connections  with  other  neurons  and  were teetering on the brink of death.  There is also research tying brain dysfunction directly to excessive sugar consumption.  In  a  2012  Ucla  research  study,  scientist  fed  rats  a heavy ration of both  fructose (which makes up roughly half  of  both table sugar and high fructose corn syrup.)

As  noted  from  this  study…. both insulin resistance and impaired brain function occurred within six weeks. Interestingly, also they found that both insulin function  and  brain performance improved  in  the  sugar – fed  rats when they were feed omega – 3 fatty acids.  Another facet of American Diets are lots of cheap added fats,  may  also trigger insulin problems  and  brain dysfunction.

New Scientist Magazine red flags yet another recent study, while this      one  from  University of Washington researchers.  Finding  that rats  fed a high  fat  diet  for  a  year  lost  their ability to regulate insulin,  developed diabetes  while showing  signs of brain deterioration.  In the United States alone,  24 million or 8% of  all Americans…. have been diagnosed with this condition.  What’s  also  further  concerning  is  79 million  Americans  are considered prediabetic showing early  signs of insulin resistance.

When  you  take  into  account  another  5.4  million  Amercans  or  nearly two percent having  Alzheimers costing in estimates of  $200 Billion Dollars annually.  If  Alzheimers  and  Type II  Diabetes share  this  common thread, levels  of  dementia  may   follow  a  similar  trajectory  as  these  people  age making this situation tragic for the generations that come after ours.  While providing a death spiral  for the country…. as we become  a  2:1 ratio nation  of  age versus youthful providers.

Mercury Madness

The Dangers of  Mercury Amalgams  came to light today while watching YourHealthTv with Dr. Richard Becker. His quest was Dr. Hal Huggins and the topic was mercury amalgams to fill cavities in teeth. It’s no secret since mercury  has  been  utilized  there  has  an  increase in auto immune disease. As other health care professionals  will  tell  you  that  mercury  poisons can cause cancerhowever,  is that really true.

Dr. Hal Huggins  whom  created  also  the  Huggins Diagnostic Center  in Colorado Springs, Colorado believes. Even though he had his dental liscense revoked in 1996 for thinking out of  the box.  Supposely tricks the chronic ill patients into thinking the true cause of their illness was mercury poisoning. Dr. Hal  was investigated by the FDA  for his marketing of the Amalgameter, which  is  an  advice which claimed to detect positively  or  negative charged dental fillings in teeth.      Thank GOD… non – Amalgam Fillings!!!

The  ADA’s position  that  dental amalgams  are  a  safe and effective  material  to  fill  cavities.  This  stance  which  is  also  supported  by  the          U.S. Public Health Service, the European Commission, the World Health Organization  and  by many studies.  In  late  2004… a  group called the Sciences Research Office also reviewed seven years worth of insufficient studies and concluded.  That  there  is  insufficient evidence,  “of  a  link  between  dental mercury amalgams  and  health issues  except  in rare instances of allergic reactions.”

Mercury is a naturally occuring element that is found in air,  water  and soil. Additionally mercury enters the air  from mining ore, burning coal and trash.  Also exposure  to  mercury  occurs  from  breathing contaminated air, while ingesting contaminated water and  food.  With  this  all told…. can we get cancer  from eating fish.  We  know  high levels of  mercury exposure can harm the brain,  heart,  kidneys,  lungs and the immune system of people of all ages.

However there isn’t enough human data suggesting that it causes cancer. Although the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),  has  determined that  methylmercury  is  a  possible  human  carcinogen.  Methylmercury is made  primarily  by  microscopic  organisms  in  water  and  soil.  Therefore Methylmercury builds up in the tissues of fish over time. So while the oldest and largest fish have higher levels of mercury.

Research shows  most people that consume fish usually are healthier than those whom don’t eat fish.  My only advice is….  don’t eat fish that have gray pigmentation  in  it’s  tissue because some fish have higher concentrations of mercury than others that can harm developing nervous systems of a fetus or young child.

Hydrogen Sulphide

As a visitant becomes accustomed to navigating this website and realizes. I have many treatments options available to the cancer patient.  Remember also  that  by  using  this  website as a centralized hub of cancer research.  My number one priority is allowing the links in each blog post to speak volumes while creating blogs…. teaching people how to prevent cancer cases from happening in the first place.

The statistics  for getting cancer is  (1 in 4)  people while only  (1: 10 – 20)  vegetarians do and  (1: 20 – 30) vegans will.  While  those  people  on  vegan diets  (no meat,  salt,  sugar,  saturated/trans fats  and  limited  allergents.)  All one has to do is look at variables  in  any  diet…. avoiding preservatives and allergents may explain “why” some vegans Robin Gibb died at 62 years with colon cancer or  “why”   Bif Naked  contracted breast cancer.

Regardless if you  consume  a diet high in red meat protein or not, what a diet high in sulphur produces is hydrogen sulphide.  Which can damage the inner lining of the bowel making it  “leaky”  while  increasing cell turnover. Another thing a  diet  of  red  meat  when over heated above 180 degrees the creatine can become posionous.  Also when you consume  a  diet high in the sulphur amino acids  found in red meat, cheese, milk, nuts and eggs.

OR  and  over  abundance  of  sulphates  found in the brassica vegetables family,  preservatives in processed foods.  Especially bread,  beer,  sausages and processed meats or dried fruits. To much sulphur or sulphates produces an inflammatory process causing cancer.  In  an  age  of  cancer prominance it’s believed cancer can  be caused by  bad habits  or  poor diet  and  also the inflammatory process that produces cancer.

IF vegans get cancer….  they need to know  if  they consume sodium/salt, sugar,  saturated/trans fats  or  drinking  alcohol it could be defeating their purpose.  Or  if  they consume common allergents making them  feel unwell and impair their immune system. They must know that preservatives, also additives, canned foods, GMO’s and processed foods can cause cancer.

The vegetarian diet  is  basically  healthy  says,  Marjorie Nolan RD,  an  American Dietetic Association spokeswoman.  The  theory  of  the  alkaline diet is eating certain foods can help maintain the body’s ideal  pH balance   to improve overall health.  However  the  body  maintains  it’s  pH balance regardless of diet.

First some background information is our pH is the measure of exactly   how acidic  or  alkaline we are.  A pH  of  zero  is  completely  acidic,  and a pH  of 14 completely alkaline and a pH  of  seven is neutral.  You  don’t just have  one  pH level,   for  example;  the stomach  has to have a  pH  ranging  from  1.35 – 3.5  and  it  must  be  acidic to aid  in  digestion.  However  your  blood must be slighty alkaline with a pH of 7.35 to 7.45.

It’s  a  diet  of  fresh  fruits  and  vegetables,  plenty  of  water,  avoiding processed foods, coffee and alcohol. Which are all recommendations for a generally healthy diet anyway.  Nolan says, “our  body  regulates  the  pH between  7.35  and  7.45  no matter how what eat.”  There is no evidence an alkaline  or vegetarian diet can prevent cancer.

Some studies have shown that vegetarians have lower rates  of  cancer, particularily  colon  cancer;  according  to  the  American  Cancer  Society. However vegetarians  often  have  other  healthy habits,  such  as  exercise and abstaining from drinking and smoking.  So it is difficult to determine the effects of  the diet alone. “Clinical  studies  prove  a  diet  of  fresh  fruit and vegetables while dehydrating properly lowers cancer rates and other diseases,”  Nolan says, “but probably has nothing to do with blood pH.”

My theory is with the consumption  of  all those  fruits  and  vegetables       in vegetarian diets.  I truly believe that one  of  the keys to success  for this reducting  chronic disease  is  fibre and  this choice is an important health decision.  Most people think that bran is the best type of  fibre to consume, however,  bran  (wheat fibre)  is mostly insoluble  and  doesn’t digest well. You’ll find the soluble fibre in fruit, vegetables, legumes,  nuts, seeds and most whole grains are easier to process.   Glucomannan Fibre!!!!

Soluble fibre are great bacterial  food that earns the term of prebotics.    Our gastro – intestinal bacteria eagerly  ferments soluble fibre,  creating   by – products that can lower cholesterol, blood sugar, and insulin. While preventing cancer, balancing hormone levels, remove excessive estrogen, therefore,  reducing  breast cancer  while  feeding colon cells  and  that  is  just  the start of  the beneficial aspects of fibre.

There  is  such  an over abundance  of  unnatural surroundings  in  our      world  today.  That  contributes  to  an  imbalance  in  our  bodily  system    and cancer growth. While buying organic consuming whole plant-based    food   is  important  excessive  consumption  can  be  counter  productive.  Additionally  bleaching  under  garments  (specifically bra’s)  can  cause breast cancer.  WE  also  need  being  made  aware  of  indoor  &  outdoor carcinogens,  as well as stress that causes immune system impairment.

Down To The Wire

This blog post…. includes some of the highlights of this past year when considering options for the prevention of cancer and treatments. While it’s best to think prevention and early detection,  one  of  the  first  items  garnering  my  attention  when  I  decided    to research this topic.  Almost seven year ago present would have to be diversity of the states incident  and mortality rates for cancer per 100,000  people. Then while looking further into it…. it’s NOT quality of health care that determines life.

Rather it’s quality of lifestyle: while out in the Western States where   people are more outdoorsy.  Maintaining vitamin D levels through sun exposure  and  NOT  smoking as much could be the determining factors regardless of  health care facilities.  The lifestyle choices of  clean living     and active lifestyle determines if you get cancer and when you die from        it.  In  my  opinion  entirely …. I also think the more active one is…. the   more apt they will be health minded.

In Utah… alone which has the least incident and mortality rates in the United States.  Even though Utah doesn’t have a Medical Institution that        is in U.S. News & World Reports Top 50 Cancer Hospitals.  Statistics does show their rate of  mortality  from cancer is lowest in the country. Within this  website  which  is  a  centralized  hub  of  cancer  research  providing  cancer quick facts.  Additionally what you can  find… is a comprehensive cancer library and some of my  favorite websites on the internet.

    My Top Ten Websites:

                         PreventCancer.org                          CancerCompass.com

                           CancerIndex.org                                 CancerQuest.org

                            Chemocare.com                               DoctorYourself.com

                       Self-HelpCancer.org                              EmbodiWorks.org

                      CancerDietitian.com                                LifeScipt.com

So as you scroll down “blog roll” and when one blog leads you to another.  Where each  blog post  is  written in short story  form  in  which  the  visitant should use as a self directive guide for a search for an answer to cancer.  My intent is how do you  find a website  “if”  you  don’t  know  it’s  on  the  world wide.  I found most of  the websites  from  countless trips to Half Price Books or Hastings Stores. While checking out the references in the back of books.

Inflammatory Response

As We enter into a New Year.  I think I’m resolute to keep taking  this website  into a better direction.  While making each blog post more informative while also making this website…. easier  to  navigate with information more easily accessible.  I’m  please  with how  the last dozen blog post  are  mapped  in  this website.  When  you  check  them  out there is quite a bit of information in them. That’s linked into other blog posts that brings you an abundance of information to respond to if you give the blog a chance and want   to start your own research using this website as a search engine  for  facts on cancer.

Cholesterol has been long been seen as the main culprit to cardiovascular disease.  However,  nearly  half  of  all  heart attacks  occur  in  people  with normal levels of cholesterol which suggests that another factor is at work. Researchers have identified cholesterol partner in crime as inflammation and cholesterol wouldn’t be nearly as dangerous without the process.

When  high levels  of  cholesterol  occur  in  the  blood  stream,  excessive       LDL  begins  to  seep  into  the  inner wall  of  the artery.  This  triggers  an inflammatory  response  which  actually  speeds  up  the  accumulation  of  cholesterol into the artery wall. This in turn produces more inflammation and on – and – on.    Eventually  this  deposited  cholesterol  hardens  into   plaque, that can rupture leading to blood clots which causes heart attacks, strokes and other cardiovascular events. That if could be prevented would prevent health care cost…. Health.com: 7 causes of high cholesterol !!!!

Some experts…  NOW ….believe that inflammation is the link between the many disease and conditions that affect the heart and brain. Inflammation is  the  common denominator  in  nearly  all  of  the  diseases  we  deal  with.   While Dr. James O’Keefe MD.,  The  Director  of   Preventive  Cardiology  at  the Mid  American  Heart  Institute  in  Kansas  City, Missouri  states,  that “Heart disease,  diabetes,  dementia —  whom thinks that they’re all tied to inappropiate, low grade, chronic inflammation.”

The growing understanding of inflammation’s role doesn’t diminish the importance of chlosterol — you still have to keep that  “bad”  number down and the  “good”  number up  but does present another possibility  that  does anticipate cardiovascular disease.  Studies show that a substance known as  C – reactive protein  (CRP),  one of  the so – called markers  released by cells during the inflammatory  process. Quite possibly maybe more effective than cholesterol in guaging the risk of heart attacks and other cardio – events.

Studies also find….  Association  between C – Reactive Protein and cancer rates, mortality. This analysis was researched by a Copenhagen City Heart Study, which was a large prespective study launched in 1976 to explore risk factors  for heart  disease. While all participants  had  a baseline  CRP  level measured  using  high  sensitivity  CRP  blood  test.  This  analysis  included 10,408  participants  whom  entered  the  study  between  1991  and  1994  0r between 2001 and 2003.

After  16 years  of  total  follow  –  up,  1624  paticipants  developed  cancer. People with a high baseline  CRP  more than 3mg/L  had a 30 percent greater risk of developing any cancer compared with those whose CRP was less than 1mg/L.  High  CRP levels  were associated  with  prostate  and  quite possibly colorectal cancer risk,  however,  did not raise breast cancer risk.

Among people diagnosed with cancer during the study period,  those who had a baseline CRP  0f  more than  3mg/L  were 80 percent more likely to die sooner than those CRP levels under 1mg/L. Specifically researchers reported that  five years after cancer diagnosis,  40 percent  of  patients  with elevated CRP  levels  were  alive;  compared  with  70  percent  of  those  patients  with  low CRP levels.

Whether it’s inflammation  keeping  you up at night  or  for the  70 million Americans each year having chronic pain  and  sinusitis. Costing our health care system 120 billion dollars per year. While having also 1 in 5 Americans using  prescription  drugs.  With  another  7  n  10  using  over – the – counter   Nonsteroidal anti – inflammatory Nsaid’s  (aspirin, iburofen  and naproxen  products  for suppressing their  pain.) With also various lasting trips to the  chiropractor for alignments preventing major lower back problems.

These health issues  from  joint pain to swollen knees  and  mild stroke to high blood pressure  through  abdominal pain  can  justifiably  be  resolved. With proper nutrition to keep your hormones, vitamin and mineral levels in balance.  Especially what one really has to have cognizance  of  a vitamin D  level  in  the  proper range  of  30 to 74 ng/ml.  Be careful that range doesn’t get into the 80 ng/ml levels therefore being fat soluble it could be toxic.

Some nutritionist will tell you  it’s safe  to  consume  10,000 iu’s  for short time durations. However for only short time durations with a supervision of a medical professional.  The  most  confusing part  of  this  logic  when I  first started researching this information seven years ago.  When you step out in the sun exposure for 20 to 30 minutes you take in by all accounts 20,000 iu’s in a more natural absorption process than synthetic supplements.

Nitrogen Balance

I’m not one to watch alot of television, otherwise consider the idiot box. Named that…. because  of  the numerous idiots  that  are on it  and  for  that  matter  even  watching it.  However,  when  I  do  watch television  I normally  watch  PBS specials  or  shows  for example  Your Health.  Today  Richard  and  his  charming  wife  Cindy Becker  had  a show about the importance of protein and how it benefits your life as you age.

As  we  age  scaropenia  (muscle wasting)  becomes  quite  obvious  in  a majority of us.  Scaropenia has a more devastating impact on our economy than does osteoporosis (the  weakening  of  the  bone  as  we  age.) While also  estimates over the next 25 years…. that  the total number of  adults over 65 years are suppose to double. This will  produce  a  sharp increase in the cost related to treating scaropenia.

Recent studies indicate, not only, muscle mass, but also, muscle weakness, as an independent variable,  and  emerging data  suggests  this  maybe even more  important  as  a  predictor  of  related  health  issues.  While  this  age related phenomenon isn’t fully understood. Fortunately resistance exercise combined  with  adequate  amounts  of  protein  that  is  effective  for  both facts on cancer prevention and treatment.

However disability and related health problems may limit one’s ability     to exercise. Therefore  this  stresses the importance  of  adopting an active, healthy lifestyle that incorporates resistance training exercises  and  also essential protein long before one approaches advanced age. While the best approach would be to incorporate a whey source into your diet 30 minutes after exercise when your body is most ramped up to receive it.

Along about the ages of  35 to 45  years of age…. are bodies start to slump while are muscle mass deteriorate. This is one of  the main reasons athletes start losing their edge and talent levels dip after going through their prime.  While we enter into our early  50’s  we see a stark difference in performance and as we enter into our golden years some become frail….  from the aging process  of  growing elderly and less active.

When we establish reasons for this fraility and techniques of preventing  the fight against aging. We must consider the importance of exercise and nutrition in our diets.  What  exercise  does…  is  keeps  your  metabolism ramped, cholosterol level in checked and your cardio vascular system in working order and musclar system strong.

It will also help with the inflammatory response to chronic stress and dysfunctional  cortisol.  While  nutritionalists are always looking  at  the possible effects that these telemores have on your body. These telemores  can be looked upon as the wick of a candle and how it keeps your candle      light burning bright throughout your golden years.

When you  take into account how chronic stress,  dysfunctional cortisol and the aging process affects your chances of getting cancer.  You can also see how protein might impact your immune system and the vary telemores that can have an exact bearing on your DNA Strands that can change and mutate and become also malignant facts on cancer.

A Cure Through Prevention

When I started this venture one year ago.  I thought  “why not”  have a personal blog   one could use as  a  centralized hub  of  cancer research.  As  I started inputting one blog  post after another into the  archives.  I began  to  realize  the wisdom behind the method of this madness.  Whereby improving with each blog post ultimately coming up with the blog post that can link this entire personal blog as a one.

This blog post… therefore will have content about the neccessary  cures through prevention that I deem to be most vital.  While co insiding with the Hot Tips for July which I believe to be vital tips for the prevention of cancer naturally. When I look deeply into the alternative means of preventing this dreadful disease naturally the first issue I look at just might have to be that of a thumb nail sketch providing some cancer quick facts ???

Bad Estrogen and Cancer: woman with estrogen sensitive cancers such as   breast,  cervical or endometrial usually have a much lower ratio of good to bad estrogen.  Some scientist suspect  that  MCF-7 cells  are  responsible for breast cancer in humans.  Therefore…. Bisphenol A  (BPA)  is  a  particular estrogen that increases the formation of cancer cells.

The scare about Bisphenol A (BPA) a substance that mimics the  female hormone estradiol has effects on many organ systems of the body, if being absorbed  in  high enough doses.  BPA is not  found in plastic with ID code       1 through 6,  which  food is packaged in,  however,  can  be  released  with     high heat  and  harsh chemicals  from plastics.  So  that’s  why  it’s  never recommended to heat food in the microwave in plastic containers.

Another conflicting belief states that most breast cancers have parabens   in the cancer cells and NOT in the normal surrounding cells. Leading some experts  to  jesture  that  some  how, that  someway…  that these  parabens      or  chemicals  that  are  put  into cosmetics  and  pharmaceuticals  for their  bactericidal ,  and  also  fungicidal properties  are  getting  into  the upper quadrant  of  the  breast and causing breast cancer.

Saturated Fat:  deep  fried  cholesterol…. causes  problems in the proper functioning of the pancreas’ secretion of insulin (less insulin causes a chain reaction  of  events  that can  also lead  to  over – production  of insulin  and  insulin  resistance.)   Increased  insulin  production  either  directly  by  the tumor or indirectly by stimulation of  the pancreas’  secretion is a common  phenomenon during cancer development.

Excessive AlcoholActing as a irritant  or  solvent helping other harmful chemicals to enter cells lining…. the upper digestive tract more easily. This may  explain  “why”  the  combination  of  drinking  and  smoking  is  much more likely to cause cancer  in the  mouth, throat  or  esophagus then either smoking and drinking alone.

Therefore cells that are damaged may try to repair themself which may lead to DNA changes in the cell that can be the first step toward cancerous cells. Also when alcohol enters into…. the colon and rectum area,  bacteria can convert alcohol into large amounts  of  acetaldehyde (a chemical that  has been shown to cause cancer in lab animals.)

Tobacco Usage:  of  any kind  can be detrimental to your health because     it’s a fact half of all smokers will eventually die of cancer or other smoking related illnesses and that a quarter of  all smokers die between the ages of  35 and 69 years of age.  Tobacco  smoke  contains  more  than  70 different cancer causing substances.

When you inhale this smoke… these chemicals enter into your lungs and spread around into the rest of your body. Thereby also damaging DNA and changing important genes,  therefore,  what  this  indirect  carcinogen does is  provides  a  direct  carcinogen  to  cause  cells  to  grow  abnormally  and multiply out of control.

However,  while on the topic of smoking there is steadfast opinion with a University of Alberta Study  stating  medicinal marijuana oil can help cure cancer and aide late stage cancer patients chemotherapy side effects.  Also   it is being stated hemp oil …having a botannical family relationship to the medicinal variant  of  cannabis  with an excellent content of  omega-3  and omega-6  fatty acids…. has health benefits  and  with a historical timelime that makes it an interesting concept  (Scared Straight Documentary 1978.)

Lack of Exercise:  is as bad  for  you  as  smoking  and is equally as deadly.   Under  the N.H.S. guidelines  everyone is meant to take at least two and a half hours of  exercise a week.  Which  might  include  walking,  bicycling,  gardening or simply just doing housework. My opinion is doing anything  possible that speeds up your heart rate and metabolism and allowing it to comeback down to a normal rate qualifies as exercise.

Thereby what a lack of exercise produce is an over abundance of  fat cells  in epidemic proportions.  While these  fat cells  also can  produce numerous hormones,  inflammatory molecules  and  other harmful chemicals that can act  directly  on  nearby  organs  or  travel  throughout  your  bodily  system causing damage in the other areas of your body.

Vitamin Deficiencies: people with low dietary intakes of any one vitamin usually  end  up  displaying  low  albumin,  high  platelet  counts  with  high blood pressure while shortening their life expectancy.  When  these  people contract disease  from  these  vitamin deficiencies  they usually also end up with  shorter  life  expectancy  then  their  counter  parts.  Whom  for  some unforeseen reason contracting disease from natural pollulants.

Acidity Balance:  You can have to much  or  NOT  enough acidity in your stomach with the latter causing nutrients NOT to dissolve in your digestive system.  However,  it’s also a know  fact  that  to  much  acid  may  lead to a deposit at a place in your body causing damage. An improper pH balance  can cause cells to die,  and these dead cells can turn more acid while some cells can adapt.

It’s this adaption to this new habitat that causes normal cells to become abnormal and become malignant.  Malignant cells do not correspond with brain function  nor  with  your  DNA code,  thereby,  malignant  cells  grow  indefinitely and without order…. this is cancer…??? Without question than it’s important to know what’s going on inside your body at all times !!!!
