One True Step

What Solitarius is about to become is a stopping point or venue for those whom want to learn more about cancer. Don’t want to have inconveniences  and/or have the time to search the internet because it can be trying. I know when I went through it with a family member…. I truly knew nothing  about  computers, the internet or for that…. what was on the www.

Many  types  of  Breast Cancer  and  Ovarian Cancer  are  sensitive to the hormone estrogen, and  not  the  phytoestrogen  from  soy beans  what some think.  These types  of  cancer, are  also, fore mention with alcohol, tobacco, and  working the graveyard shift.   While  others  are  heredity  through  the  the  BRCA – 1  &  BRCA -2  genes  especially  those  of  the  Ashkenzai  Jewish people  ethnic grouping   ( National Breast Cancer Foundation. )

While some women have what is called HER2 – positive breast cancer.    Historically,  women with this HER2 – positive  breast cancer  have  a  more agressive  disease  and  higher risk  that  the  disease  may  recur  (return.)     In about 1 of every 5 breast cancers, the cancer cells make an excess of the HER2…. due to gene mutation and can occur in many types of cancer – not only breast cancer.      Cancer Biology????

There are two forms of breast cancer invasive…. meaning it has spread from the  milk duct  or  lobule  to  other  tissues  in  the   breast.  While  the non-invasive means it has, not yet invaded other breast tisues and is then generally referred to as    ( in situ. )

In lobular carcinoma  in situ (LCIS) or also called lobular neoplasea         and is sometimes grouped with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) and as           a    non-invasive breast cancer. LCIS differs from DCIS in that it doesn’t  seem  to become invasive if left untreated.
