Sarcomas and Skin Cancer

Sarcoma is a cancer: that arises from transformed cells of mesenchymal origin, thereby, malignant tumors made  of  cancerous bone,  cartilage,  fat, muscle, vascular or hematopoietic tissus are often, by definition considered sarcomas.  This  is  in  contrast  to  a  malignant tumor originating  from  the epithelial cells,  which  are  termed  carcinomas.  Sarcomas  are quite rare – common malignancies  such as breast,  colon,  and  lung cancer,  are almost always carcinomas.     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2epwNS63Ow  https://www.google.com/webhp?=UTF-8#q=leiomyosarcoma+videos

When your told by the medical profession their  is no HOPE  for your      case just go home and  plan  for your departure.  It’s best to start looking     for your  alternative   facts on cancer  and  for  a  type of  sarcoma called  “Leiomyosarcoma.”  Just might be  found in the book  From incurable To Incredible  by  Tami Boehmer….  page 123  she  states,  “The  Bill Peeples’  angiogenesis  Inhibitors  Cocktail  developed  by a man in Florida whose wife was told that it was hopeless.   The BPC Cancer Protocol!!!

After  her  surgeon  found  mutiple  LMS tumors  throughout her abdomen which  LMS  effects only  four out of a million cancer patients. His wife went  on  this  protocol,  and  three  months  later  all  of   her  tumors  where  gone. The  protocol  based  on the  theory  of  angiogenesis,  which also  targets the development  of  blood vessels cancer cells  needs  to  survive and prosper. It recommends  low  dose  chemo treatments  for active disease,  along  with  a cocktail of cancer fighting supplements.   Liposomal Supplements ?

Which “if” taken at certain levels inhibits the growth factors tumor cells   express.  You  can  find  more  information  from  CancerProtocol.com  or  an online resource called ….Association of Cancer Online Resources  (ACOR)  or from Dr. Elyse Lower  whom  Yvonne Cooper  had  as  her  Oncologist  in this extremely informative book !!!!!

Some other options out there is Dr. Etienne Callebout in London, England that is helping  a Facebook Friend of  mine.  Also checkout Jeannie blog post and the modified version of the Pepples protocol and Callebout has his own. Immunotherapy also has shown promise with Leiomyosarcoma.

Skin Cancer: other wise known as skin neoplasm are skin growths with differing  causes  and  varying  degrees  of  malignancies.  The  three  most common malignant skin cancers are basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell and  melanoma,  each  of  which  is  named after the type  of  skin cell  from which it arises.  Unlike the types in the lung, pancreas, stomach…et cetera, only a small minority will actually die of the disease.

Basal cell carcinoma is the most common skin cancer  and  the most common overall.   Although,  it is a cancer,  it’s  likelihood  of  spreading        is quite low,  however,  if neglected it can grow locally. Thereby, removal,    is recommended  and  being readiation and surgery is effective.  Surgery has   a better cosmetic effect than radiation and with radiation being  far more costly with added risk of secondary cancers resulting in the future.

To seal the deal one must endure twenty or more sessions of radiation. Compared to just doing one surgery with a post operative follow up. Also Moh’s surgery is different from regular surgery because while the patient and surgeon waits.  As a  pathologist immediately evaluates the removed tissues  and provides  information  to  the  surgeon…. on whether or not to further remove  skin tissue with tumor cell being  necessary.

Squamous cell  or  basal cell carcinoma  are  highly  likely  to  be  cured       if    found  early  on  and  treated properly.  However,  melanoma  a  cancer that begins  in  the melanocytes…. the cells that produce skin coloring  and pigment known as melanin. Which helps protect the skin from the harmful effects  of  the  sun  is  always curable  in  its  very earliest stages, although, melanoma accounts for only a small percentage of skin cancer.

Melanoma does account for more than  75,000  cases of skin cancer and  9,000  of  the nearly 12,000 skin cancer deaths each year.  Also there are a few  rare  types  of  skin  cancers,  such  as  Keratoacanthoma,  Merkel Cell  Carcinoma,  Skin Lymphoma,  Kaposi Sarcoma,  Skin Adexnal tumors and  sarcomas.  You can  findout  more  about  them  and  other  non-melanoma cancers  at www.cancer.org and  this  section  on skin cancer would not be complete with0ut telling the Eva Cassidy Story.

Eva Marie Cassidy (February 2, 1963 – November 2, 1996)  an American vocalist  and  guitarist known  for  her interpretations of  jazz,  blues,  folk, gospel,  country  and  pop  classics.   In 1992,  she released  her  first album The Otherside  followed by the 1996 solo album entitled Live at Blues Alley. Although,  honored  by  the  Washington Area Music Association;  she was virtually unknown outside her native Washington D.C. when  she  died  of melanoma in 1996.

In 1993,  Cassidy had a malignant node removed  from her back;  than    three years later  during  a  promotional event  for her  Live at Blues Alley Album in 1996. Cassidy noticed an ache in her hips which she attributed to stiffness  from painting murals while perched a top a step ladder. The pain persisted  and a  few weeks later,  X-rays revealed that  the melanoma had  spread to her lungs and bones.

Her doctors estimated she had three to  five months to live,  Eva opted     for aggressive treatment but her health deteriorated rapidly. In the early  autumn  at  a  benefit concert  for  her  at  the Bayou  she  made  her  finale closing the set with  “What A Wonderful World”  in  front  of  an audience    of   friends,  family  and  fans.  Additional chemotherapy  was  ineffective   and  Cassidy died November 2, 1996.

Only after her death ~ did her music catch on with the Cd  “Songbird” which eventually  sold 100,000 copies.  This link into her website is not a copyright infringement  because the link takes you directly  into her own website in my way of  honoring her determination in song of  preserving   her  entire career  and  until  she  was  gone  we  found  her  true style  of  excellence in sound….       http://www.theskincancercenters.com/
