A Deadly Cancer

Bone Cancer:  unfortunately,  doctors have been unable to pinpoint any preventative techniques specific to primary bone cancer, as this rare  form of  the  disease  accounts  for  less  than  1  percent  of  all  cancer  diagnoses. However,  researchers have identified several key risk  factors  you  should be concerned about this potentially deadly disease and bone sarcomas.

Therefore,  if  you know there’s a history of  the  disease  in your  family,  you should focus your efforts on early detection to prevent the disease from reaching  an advanced stage.  Research  also  believe  people  with  a  genetic condition known as Paget’s disease have elevated bone cancer risk. If you’re genetically predisposed  to bone cancer,  stop smoking,  tobacco  use  in  any form increases your chances of  developing the disease.

Oncologist  stress  the  importance  of  controlling  your  eating  habits, avoiding excess calories, choosing healthy low  fat  foods instead. Limiting your saturated  fats  and  red meat  while eating whole grains,  fresh  fruits and  vegetables.  Regular exercise  is also believed  to limit cancer risk  and you should always undergo regular cancer screening  and  tell your doctor about any symptom.        Those  fruits and veggies are super  foods!!!

Secondary Bone Cancer usually results  from the metastasis,  or spread    of  other  forms  of  cancer  into the bones.  For  this  to happen  the original form of  cancer must remain undetected  and  untreated  for a considerable period.  If  you’ve already contracted a  form of  cancer  and want to stop it from spreading to your bones.  Follow your oncologist’s advice… complete all prescribed treatments in  full.

One of  the  newest  and  most  promising  treatments  is proton therapy, focused ultrasound therapy  and  radio  frequency ablation that targets the tumor  and  not  the  healthy  surrounding.  With  follow up  care  especially important, since cancer tends to recur in individuals who have already had it.  A Holistic Doctor can be a vital addition to any cancer patients recovery team, with  tracking vitamin  and  mineral deficiencies  through  blood test (while keeping the cancer at bay  and  NOT  turning stage 4.)
