Cancer Prevention

Good afternoon Ken,

My name is Susan Vento and I am an advocate with the Asbestos Cancer Victims’         Rights Campaign  (ACVRC).  First,  I want to thank you  for everything you’ve done              to  spread cancer awareness  and providing support  for the patients  and survivors.         As a fellow advocate, I’m proud to work beside such strong individuals like yourself.

Cancer is a subject very close to my heart. My husband, Congressman Bruce Vento,   passed away  in  2000  of mesothelioma,  after being exposed  to asbestos early in life.       As  such,  I am hoping…. to  do  all I can to increase awareness  for  cancer prevention.        In honor of  National Cancer Prevention Month this February, the ACVRC has written     an article detailing some easy steps everyone can take to reduce their cancer risk.  The article can be found on our site here: http://cancervictimsrights.org/reduce-your-risk-national-cancer-prevention-month/

Please  join  us  in  spreading  the  word  this National Cancer Prevention Month               by sharing and re-posting the article on your blog. Please let me know if you have           any questions  and thank you again  for the great work  that you do.

Warmly,

Sue
