Don’t make yourself uncomfortable to make others feel comfortable. Sometimes people just need to be there, and that’s it. If they aren’t there for you when you need them the most… that should tell you everything you need to know. As long as you know you kept it real , you did your part. If you’re lucky enough to have someone’s time and genuine interest you better value it or someone else will. Never make her feel like an option cause she’ll show you how many SHE has. Unless they’re a malignant narcissist. In that case: run! That is true although I also think to go to the person who needs you the most If someone else is more distressed Help them. I survive well in the shadows. If I help someone I need nothing in return just to know them better and cope. I can live in the dark and find light for others.
