We have to be concerned about China also, just like Japan in the late 30s. They’re now buddies with Russia. Russia in Europe and China in the Pacific. China won’t get involved in this war. They publicly acknowledged the sovereignty of Ukraine and the economic ties to Europe are way too strong. They wouldn’t benefit from a war in Europe. But a Russian stronghold in Ukraine will benefit China as they will look to mirror the same actions most likely in Taiwan.
A war in Europe is of enormous interest to the United States, we are part of NATO.
Our economy will be affected by another external factor that joins the pandemic, production and distribution problems, and the savage rise in oil prices.
