7-year survivor of a glioblastoma.

Here is the story of James McCraw, a 7-year survivor of a glioblastoma.

The C Word – Videos
Cancer is no laughing matter – but the archaic way we are beating it, is! With a dose
of good humor, heart, and a touch of rock-n’-roll beat, THE C WORD reveals the forces
at play keeping us sick and dares to ask: if up to 70% of cancer deaths are preventable…
what are we waiting for? And, in asking the question, director Meghan L. O’Hara
reveals astounding truths that no one is talking about on a grand scale — until now.
At its heart are powerful, twin stories: one from celebrated French neuroscientist and cancer revolutionary Dr. David Servan-Schreiber, the other from THE C WORD’s own director, and cancer survivor Meghan L. O’Hara.
After braving the journey from diagnosis to wellness, Meghan and David join forces
on a wild ride of discovery; including hidden science, the absurdity of the status quo,
and a vibrant cast of characters changing the game.
Narrated by Morgan Freeman, THE C WORD message is simple,
lifechanging, radical: we can beat cancer before cancer beats us.

It all started in July 2013. It was a strange Monday, in the evening James goes out for dinner and as soon as he has ordered he feels strange, his head continues to stretch to
the right and he cannot speak. He had never felt this way. A waitress noticed that he was having an epileptic attack. Then the attack passed.
James got in the car but decided together with his girlfriend to go to the hospital and as soon as he entered the emergency room, he had another seizure. So, they decided to do a resonance that revealed the presence of a brain tumor.
The surgery was scheduled for August 13th. The operation was conducted with the semi awake patient. James was released on August 16th. Rehabilitation began in September. The oncologist informed James that he would be lucky to live 9 months after the diagnosis.

On 12 September chemotherapy with Temodar began and on 18th radiotherapy. The whole thing lasted for 45 days. Soon James failed in financial problems due to the high treatment costs and then he issue the request for the recognition of his disability and Obamacare.
James had to learn to speak again. Even memory had some problems and also the concept of time and mathematics. With language, the biggest problem was finding words. Some problems still persist today.
Prior to glioblastoma, James had a normal life, a transportation company, and earned around $ 100,000 a year. By chance James entered a site that talked about using garlic to fight glioblastoma. In fact, it appears that the garlic is able to pass the blood brain barrier and to fight the stem cells of the tumor. James then begins to take two cloves of raw garlic a day after peeling it and leaving it in the air for a few minutes. James remained tumor-free until December 2015 when the tumor returned.

James’s oncologist was thinking about a new surgery and chemotherapy but decided
to consult a specialist who decided to wait another three months before making a new resonance. James attributes the cause of the recurrence to the fact that he had gone from raw garlic to garlic in tablets for a few months so he decided to return to raw garlic and started looking for other natural methods to combat glioblastoma.
He added Curcumin, Ginger, Cayenne pepper, Boswellia, Black Seed Oil to his diet.
Every day James took 8g to 12g of curcumin (about 3 tbsp. Tea) with a pinch of black pepper so that curcumin can get through the liver. Curcumin also appears to pass the blood brain barrier and to be capable of attacking the stems of glioblastoma.

After 3 months the tumor was gone.
Since James had not done any treatment other than this diet he attributed the result to
the diet. Normally glioblastoma, especially if it is a recurrence does not go away on its own,
on the contrary, it is normally much more aggressive.
Having heard that sugar and carbohydrates feed the tumor, James decided to remove these from his diet. James’s diet also abounds in broccoli, black beans, avocado, ginger, cayenne pepper, almond milk, and other foods that are supposed to exercise an anti-cancer function.

A full 7 years have passed and James is fine.
Resonances show no signs of his tumor. We don’t know exactly why: James may
have been just lucky, he may have to survive anyway. What we know is that he had
a grade IV glioblastoma multiforme and that together with traditional therapy i.e.
The Stupp protocol he took and continues to take is a spices-based diet every day,
in particular he takes raw garlic, curcumin (3% of turmeric), ginger, Boswellia and
black seed oil.
The important thing though is that James managed to defeat the Terminator!
This is the Curcumin I am now taking. It has Curcumin, Black Seed Oil and Ginger

Amazon.com: Smarter Nutrition Curcumin Softgels – Potent & Bioavailable, Active Curcumin Standardized to 95% Tetrahydrocurcuminoids with AstraGin Black Cumin
Seed Oil & Ginger (60 Count (Pack of 1) : Health & Household

Conversion for Curcumin – 8-12 grams of Curcumin if you are battling cancer. 8 grams = 16 capsules = about 4 teaspoons (Curcumin is 3-5% of Turmeric) it is the cancer fighter.
You cannot do enough Turmeric to fight cancer.

James maintains a blog (GBM13) and has written the book.

I don’t know what happened at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
I have tried to email him to thank him. I can only assume but I think he was let go
because he was about to blow the entire cancer research industry out of the water.
He was on a Podcast called ‘Power Hour’ and he said cancer is all about inflammation.
If you control your inflammation, you control cancer.
He was one of the first to say everyone has cancer.

Bharat B. Aggarwal is an Indian American biochemist. His research has been in the areas of cytokines, the role of inflammation in cancer, and the anti-cancer effects of spices and herbs, particularly those of curcumin (a chemical constituent of the spice turmeric).
He was a professor in the Department of Clinical Immunology, Bio immunotherapy,
and Experimental Therapeutics at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, a position from which he retired in 2015 following allegations of fraud in his research.
He was formerly with M.D Anderson in Houston. Tx. He did not see eye to eye with a lot of the M.D Anderson staff. He is retired now. I think he was ahead of his time. He saved my life. He started looking at different cancers and he noticed that all cancers had one thing in common.

There was inflammation in all the cancers he saw.
He also said it was a chronic disease and not a disease that can be cured.
He is probably the first one to notice this. He is of the opinion that cancer is caused by inflammation. The same as Diabetes, Arthritis, Psoriasis, Alzheimer’s. If you can control inflammation, you can control all these diseases.
I start ed eating foods that were anti-inflammatory. He was big on Curcumin. A byproduct of Turmeric. Turmeric only has about 4-5% of Curcumin. He also said everyone has cancer cells in their bodies. In some people it becomes a problem. That is another reason there is no cure for cancer. Bharat, as far as I know, never mentioned Cancer Stem Cells (CSC) As it turned out, everything I was eating was anti-inflammatory and killed the Cancer Stem Cells (CSC),
In 2012, MD Anderson launched a review of Aggarwal’s research after the federal government notified them of allegations of fraud by academic whistleblowers in as many as 65 of Aggarwal’s published papers, one of which had been retracted by the journal that published it. Several more of Aggarwal’s publications were subsequently retracted after they were found to contain data images that had been reused and manipulated to represent different results. Aggarwal resigned from his position at MD Anderson at the end of 2015. By August 2016, eighteen research articles published by Aggarwal (in seven scientific journals) had been retracted.
I think the above ordeal was to discredit Doctor Aggarwal. The Cancer Industry (Big Pharma) is not going to sit back and let the Cancer Industry implode. There is a lot of money at stake and Aggarwal is telling people to watch their inflammation. He retired at the end of 2015. As of today, he is still fighting cancer and I am going 7 years in July 2020 being cancer free with a Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4 cancer.

What Are Cancer Stem Cells? (verywellhealth.com)
Cancer stem cells are a small subpopulation of cells found within tumors that are tumorigenic, meaning they can create a cancerous tumor. Self-renewal and the ability to differentiate into diverse cell types are hallmark features of cancer stem cells. They can reproduce themselves and sustain cancer in the body. They are therefore hypothesized to be the primary driver of cancer growth and metastasis. This is called the stem cell theory of cancer. Effective cancer treatment then must target and attack these cells.

Doing so can improve the chances of cancer remission.
Cancer stem cells have been identified in brain, breast, colon, ovarian, pancreatic, and prostate tumors, as well as in melanoma, multiple myeloma, nonmelanoma skin cancer, and leukemia. Cancer stem cell research is ongoing, and new studies are emerging frequently.

What Are Stem Cells?
Stem cells are undifferentiated (or only partly differentiated) human cells that can turn into different types of cells in the body, from nerve cells (neurons) to brain cells. They can also fix damaged tissues. They must possess two major qualities: self-renewal and the capacity to differentiate. Stem cell-based therapies are also being studied to treat serious illnesses such as paralysis and Alzheimer’s disease.
There are two types of stem cells: embryonic and adult stem cells. Embryonic stem cells come from unused embryos and are created from an in vitro fertilization process. They are pluripotent, meaning they can turn into more than one cell type. Within adult stem cells, there are two different types: one type comes from fully developed tissues such as the brain, skin, and bone marrow, and the other is induced pluripotent stem cells, which have been changed in the lab to be more like embryonic stem cells.

Where Do Stem Cells Come From?

What Are Cancer Stem Cells?
The stem cell theory of cancer hypothesizes that cancer stem cells are thought to drive tumor initiation and may be responsible for therapeutic resistance and cancer recurrence.
Like many areas of biomedical research, cancer stem cells are an evolving field of study. Multiple studies have indicated that insufficient evidence exists to confirm the existence of cancer stem cells. A review of 1,000 Web of Science publications revealed that only 49% supported the cancer stem cell hypothesis.
Cell surface markers can be used to identify cancer stem cells, as has been done in research that supports the hypothesis that these stem cells do not respond to traditional therapies such as chemotherapy. This research also supports the idea that cancer stem cells are the source of cancer metastasis.
Like all stem cells, cancer cells must have the following characteristics:
Self-renewal: When stem cells divide into more stem cells, this process is referred to as cell renewal. Cell differentiation: is when a cell changes from a less differentiated to a more differentiated cell type.

Cancer Cells Versus Normal Cells

Role in Cancer Growth
Cancer stem cells use specific signaling pathways. It is hypothesized that cancer stem cells can also act as a reservoir of cancer cells, which may cause a relapse after surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy has eliminated all observable signs of cancer. Targeting these cells would thus highly improve the chances of a patient’s remission if cancer stem cells are the origin of the tumor.

Why Do Some Cancers Come Back?

Resistance to Therapy
Cancer stem cells have the capacity to change into more specialized cell types, so they can potentially lead to tumor cell heterogeneity.8 Due to this quality, they are cited as a major factor of chemoresistance.9 Their highly resistant nature can lead to tumors metastasizing and tumor regrowth.10 As such, the developing research on cancer stem cells could dramatically change the prognosis of multiple cancer types.
Also, many new anticancer therapies are evaluated based on their ability to shrink tumors, but if the therapies are not killing the cancer stem cells, the tumor will soon grow back, often with resistance to the previously used therapy.
Importance of Cancer Stem Cell Research
Cancer stem cell research is critical because it addresses the potential root cause of cancer proliferation and can lead to the development of more effective and safer treatments. Treatments targeting cancer stem cells will likely have fewer side effects compared with existing options because they will leave other kinds of cells untouched.
Understanding these cells can also help modify current treatments for maximum effect. Research has shown that cancer stem cells are resistant to the ionizing radiation used to treat cancer. Understanding this resistance may in the future help researchers find compounds that undermine this process and make cancer stem cells vulnerable to radiation damage.

What Are Stem Cells?
A Word From Verywell
Cancer stem cell research offers promising hope for the continually evolving field of cancer therapeutics, but more research needs to be done to confirm the stem cell theory of cancer. Cancer stem cell research has the potential to generate better treatments for cancer with fewer side effects, as well as to improve the efficacy of current treatment options. If the theory is proven, therapies targeting cancer stem cells may even be able to lower the rate of cancer recurrence. While its existence is still up for debate, it represents an exciting opportunity to advance cancer care and improve cancer survival.

I will suggest you follow Smith Mikhail protocol, one thing about this protocol is he tells you what to eat and what not to and this Actually makes me understand that what we eat really affects how we respond to our treatment.

The stem cell theory of cancer proposes that among the many different types of cells within a cancer, there exists a subpopulation of cells called cancer stem cells that multiply indefinitely, are resistant to chemotherapy, and are thought to be responsible for relapse after therapy. Cancer stem cells also give rise to highly metastatic cells that spread to other organs and tissues within the body. A deeper understanding of cancer stem cells is leading to better implementation of existing anti-cancer therapies and identification of new approaches that target the cancer stem cells specifically.

What is important for people to know, and Chris is the tumor is not the target the Cancer Stem Cells are the target. I agree that a needle biopsy makes metastasize, but tumor is there too help you. It keeps the bad stuff inside. It is like Pandora’s Box. The Cancer Stem Cells are the target, and they are resistant to chemotherapy and radiation. (1) Facebook

If I had known then what I know now, I would not have surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. I would not be disabled. I am a 10+ year survivor of a brain tumor, Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4. I have been researching cancer since 2014. The Doctors either do not know or are greedy. I think it is greed. All you must do is beat the CANCER STEM CELLS. You beat cancer with an anti-inflammatory diet. Do not worry about the tumor, the tumor is to save your life. It is a container to keep the harmful stuff in. It is like Pandora’s Box. The tumor is not the problem. It is the Cancer Stem Cells that are the problem. Cancer Stem Cells are resistant to chemotherapy and radiation. If you do chemotherapy and radiation the cancer is to come back with a vengeance. It may take about 5+ years but the cancer is coming back. Cancer stem cells were first identified by John Dick in acute myeloid leukemia in the late 1990s. Since the early 2000s they have been an intense cancer research focus.

The Doctor’s must be aware of the Cancer Stem Cells.
I think cancer victims are being lied to. We are being played. We are being treated like guinea pigs. It is all about greed, Is it greed? corruption? How could a medical doctor ignore these facts just to make a profit? The Cancer Society is worth a gazillion dollars.
If they were to tell the truth the Cancer Society and Big Pharma would be worthless.
Why would a brain cancer, Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4, have access to the following and the Doctors, Oncologists, the Media do not? Pub Med is where the doctors and the rest of the medical professionals go. Some of the followings were printed in 2012.

Cancer stem cells, cancer cell plasticity and radiation therapy

Abstract
Since the first prospective identification of cancer stem cells in solid cancers the cancer stem cell hypothesis has reemerged as a research topic of increasing interest. It postulates that solid cancers are organized hierarchically with a small number of cancer stem cells driving tumor growth, repopulation after injury and metastasis. They give rise to differentiated progeny, which lack these features. The model predicts that for any therapy to provide cure, all cancer stem cells have to be eliminated while the survival of differentiated progeny is less critical. In this review we discuss recent reports challenging the idea of a unidirectional differentiation of cancer cells. These reports provide evidence supporting the idea that non-stem cancer cells exhibit a remarkable degree of plasticity that allows them to re-acquire cancer stem cell traits, especially in the context of radiation therapy. We summarize conditions under which differentiation is reversed and discuss the current knowledge of the underlying mechanisms.

Abstract
Recently it is considered that there is a small population of cells with stem cell property not only in leukemia but also in solid cancer. These cells show the ability of self-renewal and multi-potential differentiation and can initiate and maintain a tumor. The origin of cancer stem cells might be their normal stem cells, progenitor cells, or bone marrow-derived cells.
It is still difficult to isolate cancer stem cells in solid cancer. There are three possible methodologies to isolate or identify cancer stem cells; the use of a surface marker, use of cells cultured in a specific condition (sphere), or the use of side population cells identified by FACS. The gold standard assay that fulfills the definition of cancer stem cell may be serial transplantation in animal models.
Cancer stem cells are likely to be responsible for disease relapse or metastasis, and also for resistance to radiation or conventional chemotherapy. The stem cell niche plays an important role on maintaining cancer stem cells. Novel promising therapies against cancer stem cells are considered, including antibody-based therapy, signal inhibitors, overcoming radiation and drug resistance, or differentiation therapy. Another interesting therapy targeting the niche may also be considered.reserved.

Cancer stem cells: A brief review of the current status
Alican Kuşoğlu , Çığır Biray Avcı
Abstract
Cancer stem cells (CSCs) comprise the subpopulation of tumor bulk and acquire resistant to conventional therapies and are considered as the primary tumor initiator cells. Nowadays, the tumor heterogeneity originated from CSCs, and its progenitors are accepted as a mortifying drawback in front of cancer therapies. However, escalating knowledge gained from studies investigating the biology of CSCs will open up new frames for targeted therapies and decrease the chance of recurrence of the disease. In this review, the general understanding of CSCs and current studies were discussed briefly. Considering the latest data collected from studies of CSCs, defining the tumor heterogeneity and tumor microenvironment comprehensively will be very important to step up the cancer research.

Abstract
Cancer stem cells (CSCs) are a small subpopulation of cells within tumors with capabilities of self-renewal, differentiation, and tumorigenicity when transplanted into an animal host. A number of cell surface markers such as CD44, CD24, and CD133 are often used to identify and enrich CSCs. A regulatory network consisting of microRNAs and Wnt/β-catenin, Notch, and Hedgehog signaling pathways controls CSC properties. The clinical relevance of CSCs has been strengthened by emerging evidence, demonstrating that CSCs are resistant to conventional chemotherapy and radiation treatment and that CSCs are very likely to be the origin of cancer metastasis. CSCs are believed to be an important target for novel anti-cancer drug discovery. Herein we summarize the current understanding of CSCs, with a focus on the role of miRNA and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and discuss the clinical application of targeting CSCs for cancer treatment.

Abstract
Background
Nowadays, we believe that cancer is a genetic disease. We focus on the genetic targets and epigenetic changes in a tumor. Remarkably, many crucial signal pathways in a malignant cell involve “stem-ness” genes. The prevalence of stem-ness in cancer suggests that cancer has a stem-cell origin and is a stem-cell disease.
Presentation of the hypothesis
The observation that many innate stem-ness properties are easily interchangeable with malignant hallmarks needs to be further elucidated. There appears to be a malignant potential in every stem cell and a stem cell potential in every malignant cell.
I hypothesize that cancer is a stem-cell disease rather than a genetic disease.

Testing the hypothesis
We will use homeobox genes to endow a certain progenitor cell with specific stem-ness properties and confer different stem-cell phenotypes to the particular cell type in a hierarchical manner. We will demonstrate that an earlier homeobox gene plus a genetic defect (such as Pten loss) tend to form a more virulent tumor, while a later homeobox gene plus the same genetic defect tend to express a more indolent phenotype. Importantly, we will show that in clinically relevant cancer subtypes, those with worse clinical outcomes may paradoxically harbor fewer genetic mutations than those with better outcomes do.

Implications of the hypothesis
The recognition that cancer is a stem-cell disease will instigate major paradigm shifts in our basic understanding of cancer. Many fundamental principles of oncology, such as multistep carcinogenesis, need to be reconciled. The realization that cancer is a stem-cell disease will also have profound clinical implications on personalized care.

Many aspects of our current clinical trials need to be reevaluated.

Abstract
Stem cell biology has come of age. Unequivocal proof that stem cells exist in the hematopoietic system has given way to the prospective isolation of several tissue-specific stem and progenitor cells, the initial delineation of their properties and expressed genetic programs, and the beginnings of their utility in regenerative medicine. Perhaps the most important and useful property of stem cells is that of self-renewal. Through this property, striking parallels can be found between stem cells and cancer cells: tumors may often originate from the transformation of normal stem cells, similar signaling pathways may regulate self-renewal in stem cells and cancer cells, and cancer cells may include ‘cancer stem cells’ – rare cells with indefinite potential for self-renewal that drive tumorigenesis.

Cancer is a chronic metabolic disease. Chronic diseases can be controlled, not cured. There is no cure for cancer. Cancer is like Diabetes, Alzheimer, Heart Disease, and various other chronic diseases. Unless they can find a cure for chronic diseases, they will not find a way to cure cancer.
Cancer Stem Cells(CSCs) have recently been identified in several solid tumors, including: Brain, Breast, Colon, Head and Neck, Liver, Lung, Ovary, Pancreas, Prostate, Melanoma, Multiple Myeloma, Non-melanoma skin cancer, Stomach.
The only way to be cancer free is by killing the Cancer Stem Cells. The tumor has a small part that is called the Cancer Stem Cells (usually 1% – 5%), It is the target. Most Oncologists focus on the tumor. That is what they are taught by Big Pharma. It is not the Oncologist fault, they believe it.
If you do the traditional cancer therapy (SOC), chemotherapy and radiation your cancer is coming back. It might not be immediately, but it will come back with a vengeance.

“People need to understand that a tumor is there to save your life. When your body is full with poison, and you are basically going to die of that poison – your body builds a bag and collects all the poison from your body into this bag, which they call a tumor. So the body did all work. And now they come and they say “we need to do a needle biopsy” and pinch into this highly toxic tumor, which of course now explodes and pours all the poison into the body. And then they say “You have a very fast growing, very aggressive form of cancer.” They GAVE it to you. They created it.” – I don’t know who wrote this. This is wonderful information. I’m a 14-month [so far] survivor of fourth stage Glio, following a nasty bout of chemo/radiation. I’ve been taking 444 mg of Fenbendazole mixed with yogurt and my MRIs and blood work are just fine. But what you gave
here is another weapon in the arsenal.

That is amazing, how long have you been taking the Fenbendazole?
Do you have any side effects from taking this large of a dose?

Kill the Cancer Stem Cells…That is the only way to kill Cancer. The Cancer Stem Cells about 1% of the tumor. The tumor is not going to kill you. It is metastasis that is going to kill you. Chemotherapy and radiation does NOT kill the Cancer Stem Cells. Chemotherapy and radiation aggravates the cancer causing the cancer to metastasize. I beat my cancer at the grocery store. Cancer Stem Cells(CSCs) have recently been identified in several solid tumors, including: Brain, Breast, Colon, Head and Neck, Liver, Lung, Ovary, Pancreas, Prostate, Melanoma, Multiple Myeloma, Non-melanoma skin cancer, Stomach

Hi dear James. İ have already found you. My wife is glioblastoma grade iv.
We operate on 15 02.2021. We will start radiotherapy on 08.02.2021.
I know that if I go only RT and chemotherapy, we have approx. 15 month.
But you win the war of this tumor. İ want to learn your treatment details.
*2 garlic per day to fight GBM.
* when we are on radio therapy and CT.“we want to add Curcumin, Ginger, Cayenne pepper, Boswellia, Black Seed Oil to my wife’s diet. Every day I want to take 8g to 12g
of curcumin (about 3 tbsp. Tea) with a pinch of black pepper so that curcumin can get through the liver. Curcumin appears to pass the blood brain barrier and to be capable
of attacking the stems of glioblastoma.” As you said.

What can you advise me on?
Thanks in advance.

gets….never do chemotherapy or radiation https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30268439/

This is what I put on Facebook…Does God cure cancer? I don’t believe God cures cancer. God will show you the way to beat cancer, but he will not “cure” cancer.
There are many kids that have cancer. Before I discovered garlic, I was watching the Jim Valvano basketball tournament. It was a cancer benefit and is called the “V” Foundation for Cancer Research”. They would cut away to the kids who had cancer. Some of the kids had seizures non-stop or in so much pain. I was literally balling. It was the most horrible sight you could possibly imagine. The poor kids were suffering so much. I made up my mind to research cancer. God loves everyone. God is not that cruel. He showed me how to beat cancer and I believe all cancer, not just brain tumors. There were too many coincidences for me to believe that God was not leading the way. You must open your eyes and know that God is guiding the way.
I met a lot of people with cancer. I knew two that died and another one that is making current videos. They both said they left it in God’s hands instead of watching for God to glue them on how to beat cancer. You must watch for signs. God is not going to beat cancer for anyone. You must look for the signs.
It is all choices you make and God’s will. The two I was talking about used the standard treatment of care (surgery, chemotherapy, radiation)

. Killing the Cancer Stem Cells is the way to becoming cancer free
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25025713/

I think the Doctors in that case the Doctors are playing God with the way they are treating cancer. God would not use chemotherapy and radiating to beat cancer. God would use natural products that God created.
I moved from Memphis to Collierville for no other reason but safety. I have to go to Memphis because my family is there. There are 3 ways I can go. The interstate is faster but is more dangerous than going down Poplar. There are 2 different ways you can go on the interstate, you can go left or right. If you go left, there is a far more danger that you will not make it then if you go right. There is a saying if you go to Memphis, carry a gun.
That does not mean that you are going to live long. But you have choices.
I met a lot of people with cancer. I knew one that died and another one that is making current videos. They both said they left it in God’s hands instead of watching for God to show them how to beat cancer. You must watch for signs. God is not going to beat cancer for anyone. I was living in Downtown Dallas.
I walked past this place numerous times and rode the light rail past it and I used to go to workout right next to it. I walked to the post office before I went to see my mom with Pancreatic Cancer. I came back a different way and I found out It was a Cancer Park. I thought it was because my mother was going to survive. I found out later that it was because I had cancer. Later I found two different Cancer Parks identical to the one in Dallas. One in Memphis and the other in New Orleans. I found them accidentally.

Pennies from Heaven, that is what I called it whenever I would find a penny. I was thinking it was my mom. I would find pennies in the most obscure places. I was driving for Lyft and Uber. One day my engine went out. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I could not buy another car. My mechanic did not think he would find another engine. I had about a 5 mile walk to my apartment. Overton Park was about halfway to my apartment. I stopped to rest and sat down by the statue of E.H Crump. I was worried about what I would do with no car. I found a penny in the crevice of the statue. The next day my mechanic found an engine. This happened all the time.

I was desperate. I was thinking about trying Cannabis Oil.
It was not easy to get in 2014. I would have to send money via Pay-Pay to Canada. I was on the internet looking for other ways to get Cannabis Oil. I typed in Cannabis Oil and midway down I discovered a website that said garlic will kill cancer and not hurt your normal cells. I did garlic for two years.
It wasn’t a coincidence that I went to the deli for a meeting about Lyft and I went on the wrong day. Chris Wark, whom I was not familiar with at the time, was doing a seminar on cancer on the night I went. I asked about garlic and Chris said absolutely. That made my day. All my family and friends thought I was crazy for doing garlic.
There were just too many things like that to think I was doing it alone. I think God is involved in my research. You can’t just pray it away. God does not work that way God is not that cruel. I believe in God. God helped me do this research and think God is the reason I wrote this book. I started out doing a Facebook page until I wrote this book. A lot of it is cut and paste from the research I did.

You can do it with your diet. It is basically an anti-inflammation diet.

I love hearing stories about long term survival in these types of cancers, it gives me hope. I was diagnosed with diffuse midline glioma grade IV in my spinal cord a few months ago. I had surgery on August 20th and I’m currently going through radiation and chemotherapy. I’m definitely adding these herbs and spices to my diet once I’m done with radiation.

Killing the Cancer Stem Cell is the only way to beat cancer The only way to be cancer free is by killing the Cancer Stem Cells. The tumor has a small part that is called the Cancer Stem Cells (usually 1% – 5%), It is the target. Most Oncologists focus on the tumor. That is what they are taught by Big Pharma. It is not the Oncologist fault, they believe it. If you do the traditional cancer therapy, chemotherapy and radiation your cancer is coming back. It might not be immediately, but it will come back.

If you kill the Cancer Stem Cells, it will degenerate.
If the cancer does not degenerate, then you can do things like fasting or a hyperbaric chamber or whatever else floats your boat. The only time you should use chemotherapy is when the tumor has gotten too big it has impeded on the other organs. Not everyone that has cancer will survive but the Cancer Stem Cells is the only way to be cancer free. Radiation and chemotherapy will give you some more time, but it will be hard on your body.

curcumin is the cancer fighter in turmeric. Curcumin is 3-5% of turmeric. If you are fighting cancer you need 8-10mg of curcumin and then you cut back. If you have cancer you need 8-12 grams of Curcumin for 3 months per day. The Curcumin Powder is very messy and hard to wipe up. I also use Jarrow Curcumin 95. 8 grams = 16 capsules = about 4 teaspoon

Hi James, I found your story very inspirational and am applying your message to my partner who was recently diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma Multiforme in December 2021. Can I just quickly ask what your view on Chemotherapy is? I only ask as Scott is three weeks into his Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy and will then do the 5/23 Chemotherapy session, I am hesitant as this might do more harm than good. We have been talking to each other about it and am considering not doing the 5/23 session and just going in hard with the food/diet that you have highlighted in the blog. Any information/suggestions/feedback will be great !! Thank you Sophorn

Dear Sophorn, I’m Roby, the father of Emanuele, you can find the story on this website. I’m the person who created this website and is maintaining it day by day. The protocol you are following is the first line therapy. It has proved in the years to offer the best survival in the average. Each single glioblastoma has its features. The glioblastoma of James was destroyed probably by his therapeutic approach or naturally by its immune system possibly empowered by the supplements taken by James. Other long term survivors followed other approaches. It is not sure anyhow that this approach will work for you partner. My suggestion is that you follow the standard of care and then, in parallel apply additional treatments, for example the ones used by James or any other treatment that you feel could work. Good luck.

Wow-10 cloves of garlic per day! Based on the photo James posted on Facebook of a 11/2 inch clove, I give my wife (diagnosed w/glio 6 mos ago) 10 grams of raw, minced garlic after 15 minutes with honey p/d (usually 2 -3 medium sized cloves). She is afraid to take more. She may take more if someone can convince her it is safe and give suggestions on how to take it. So, please tell me how that guy consumed the 10 cloves daily (average size or weight?) and if he had any side effects. Thank you.

Congratulations James,
I am a new GBM patient myself, 2 months since diagnosis. Beyond the diagnosis I am quite healthy. I have been eating clean for the past month since I found this site. I added omega 3, turkey tail mushrooms, vitamin D, green tea, removed most carbs, etc., and yes based on your post I am adding raw garlic to my list. I have to admit, I like the heat when I consume it and there are some studies on the effectiveness of garlic use against GBM.
I had one question on garlic, do you consume it with anything else or eat it on an empty stomach? My technique is just to cut it into pieces, wait 15 minutes and eat it with some cheese and a cracker and a relatively empty stomach.
Good luck to us both and thank you for sharing.James McCraw

20 New Anticancer Rules – David Servan-Schreiber, MD, PhD
David Servan-Schreiber, MD, PhDDavid Servan-Schreiber, MD, PhD, is a psychiatrist and neuroscientist, clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, cofounder of Doctors Without Borders, and a 15-year brain cancer survivor.
He promotes certain environmental, dietary, and emotional adjustments one can make in one’s life in addition to, as a support for, traditional cancer treatments. He is the author of The Instinct to Heal and Anticancer: A New Way of Life. He regularly posts Anticancer research & insight on his Facebook Page.
Dr. David Servan has published a “Top 20 List” of what everyone should do to avoid cancer or slow it down if you have it.

FOOD RULES
Go retro: Your main course should be 80 percent vegetables, 20 percent animal protein, like it was in the old days. Opt for the opposite of the quarter-pounder topped with a token leaf of iceberg lettuce and an anemic tomato slice. Meat should be used sparingly for taste, as when it used to be scarce, and should not be the focus of the meal.
Mix and match your vegetables: Vary the vegetables you eat from one meal to the next, or mix them together – broccoli is an effective anticancer food, and is even more effective when combined with tomato sauce, onions or garlic. Get in the habit of adding onions, garlic or leeks to all your dishes as you cook.
Go organic: Choose organic foods whenever possible, but remember it’s always better to eat broccoli that’s been exposed to pesticide than to not eat broccoli at all (the same applies to any other anticancer vegetable).
Spice it up: Add turmeric (with black pepper) when cooking (delicious in salad dressings!). This yellow spice is the most powerful natural anti-inflammatory agent.
Remember to add Mediterranean herbs to your food: thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary, marjoram, mint, etc. They don’t just add flavor, they can also help reduce the growth of cancer cells.
Skip the potato: Potatoes raise blood sugar, which can feed inflammation and cancer growth. They also contain high levels of pesticide residue (to the point that most potato farmers I know don’t eat their own grown potatoes).
Go fish: Eat fish two or three times a week – sardines, mackerel, and anchovies have less mercury and PCBs than bigger fish like tuna. Avoid swordfish and shark, which the FDA says pregnant women should not eat because they contain a high concentration of contaminants.
Remember not all eggs are created equal: Choose only omega-3 eggs, or don’t eat the yolks. Hens are now fed on mostly corn and soybeans, and their eggs contain 20 times more pro-inflammatory omega-6 fatty acids than cell-growth regulating omega-3s.

Change your oil: Use only olive and canola oil in cooking and salad dressings.
Go through your kitchen cabinets and throw out your soybean, corn and sunflower oils. (And no, you can’t give them to your neighbors or your relatives… They’re much too rich in omega-6 fatty acids!)
Say “Brown is beautiful”: Eat your grains whole and mixed (wheat with oats, barley, spelt, flax, etc.) and favor organic whole grains when possible since pesticides tend to accumulate on whole grains. Avoid refined, white flour (used in bagels, muffins, sandwich bread, buns, etc.) whenever possible, and eat white pasta only al dente.
Keep sweets down to fruits: Cut down on sugar by avoiding sweetened sodas and fruit juices, and skipping dessert or replacing it with fruit (especially stone fruits and berries) after most meals. Read the labels carefully, and steer clear of products that list any type of sugar (including brown sugar, corn syrup, etc.) in the first three ingredients. If you have an incorrigible sweet tooth, try a few squares of dark chocolate containing more than 70% cocoa.
Go green: Instead of coffee or black tea, drink three cups of green tea per day. Use decaffeinated green tea if it gets you too wired. Regular consumption of green tea has been linked to a significant reduction in the risk for developing cancer. Make room for exceptions: What matters is what you do on a daily basis, not the occasional treat.

NON-FOOD RULES
Get physical: Make time to exercise, be it walking, dancing or running. Aim for 30 minutes of physical activity at least 5 days a week. This can be as easy as just walking part of the way to the office, or the grocery store. A dog is often a better walking partner than an exercise buddy. Choose an activity you enjoy; if you’re having fun, you’re more likely to stick with it.

Let the sunshine in:
Try to get at least 20 minutes of daily sun exposure (torso, arms and legs) without sunscreen, preferably at noon in the summer (but take care to avoid sunburns!). This will boost your body’s natural production of Vitamin D. As an alternative: discuss the option of taking a Vitamin D3 supplement with your doctor.
Banish bad chemicals: Avoid exposure to common household contaminants. You should air our your dry-cleaning for two hours before storing or wearing it; use organic cleaning products (or wear gloves); don’t heat liquids or food in hard plastics; avoid cosmetics with parabens and phthalates; don’t use chemical pesticides in your house or garden; replace your scratched Teflon pans; filter your tap water (or used bottled water) if you live in a contaminated area; don’t keep your cell phone close to you when it is turned on.
Reach out (and touch someone!): Reach out to at least two friends for support (logistical and emotional) during times of stress, even if it’s through the internet. But if they’re within arms reach, go ahead and hug them, often!
Remember to breathe: Learn a basic breathing relaxation technique to let out some steam whenever you start to feel stressed.
Get involved: Find out how you can best give something back to your local community, then give it.
Cultivate happiness like a garden: Make sure you do one thing you love for yourself on most days (it doesn’t have to take long!).
