The Anerobic Effect of Cancer

My Hot Tips for July…. where tips for the prevention of cancer,  foremost and  for mentioned that’s the main goal of  this website  (to spread the word before you become  the word).  I  sure  did  input  loads  of  information into this website about treatments,  however,  when  you’re  clued  into  the prevention aspect of the disease you may in the    end…. end up avoiding the concerns of  trying to find cancer quick facts and the proper treatment of the type of cancer that behooves you???

Becoming  greater  informed  of the very nature of cancer will  make you  less  of a victim of this dreadful disease.  Trying to make a gray avoidable area exciting can become a challenge within itself,  and  is  largely   “why”     I wanted to attempt this  project  in  the  first place.  Beside  self educating myself and others to the experiences… I learn dealing with cancer through  a  family member 1/3rd of my adult life.

If  carcinogensis  occurs  by  somatic  expression  and  evolution…. then common components of the cancer phenotype results from active selection and must therefore,  conferring a  significant  growth  advantage.  A  near universal property of primary and metastastic cancer is upregulation of  glycolysis resulting in increased glucose consumption.

It is proposed that presistent metabolism of glucose to lactate,  even in aerobic conditions is an adaption to intermittent hypoxia in premalignant lesions. However upregulation of glycolysis leads to micro environmental acidosis requiring evolution  to  phenotypes resistant  to  acid induced cell toxicity. Putting these two paragraphs into layman terms glucose (sugar) and a lack of oxygen is needed for cancer to spread.

Let me translate….  in  the  condition  of  metastastic cancer cells with unregulated  glycolysis (sugar) and acid resistance (low pH balance) that has  a  powerful growth advantage.  This  type  of  environment  promotes unconstrained proliferation  and  invasion  (stage 4 cancer).  In  order  to keep cancer at bay  and  prevent this type of  staging one must promote a  high pH Balance while consuming sugar in moderation.

The pioneering research of  Peter Vaupel and his colleagues established       that partial pressure of oxygen (pO2) within  human cancer  is  frequently much lower then that of the surrounding normal tissue and the “hypoxia”   (oxygen deficiencies) is associated with an increased risk of local spread, metastatsis and patient mortality.

Therefore one of the main “keys of preventing cancer,”  is  insuring  that  the patients pH Balance is normal. While eating the proper diet  of  healthy fruits  and  vegetables,  with  little  consumption  of  refined  carbohydrates (high sugar junk and snack food)  while getting plenty of exercise which is extremely important. What exercise does is activates the gene that fires up your immune system.

While not only forcing greater amounts of oxygen into your system and bodily functions and replenishing the oxygen in cells that have diminished levels it helps the ability to recognize and  fight pathogens.  In this state of readiness your boosted immune system is capable of  fighting off  chronic disease.
