I’m So Excited About This

Much like sugar suppresses the immune system our bodies come  equipped  with  special  glands  resting  on  top  of  the kidneys, that’s      called the adrenals. When we are  faced with stress, real or perceived       they produce two powerful chemicals of  note –  adrenaline & cortisol     which move through the blood stream and cause those reactions that     excite  a  response  into  action.    https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=navclient&ie=stress+hormone+and+cancer+video

Have you ever walked down  a dark hallway  and someone scared               the living daylight out of  you.  Can you recall that excited  feeling of            your heart pounding with accelerated  breathing  as  you were ready             to race away in response. Which is a natural response to adrenaline, cortisol and another stress hormone called “norepinephrine that will     cause a stress response in less than a second.”

It’s this response that triggers an increase in blood pressure, heart            rate respiration,  tensing of  the muscles  and increased blood clotting        and  it’s this chronic stress  that can rob you of  vital energy.  While it               is research by Dr. Paul Rosch,  president of  the American Institute of    Stress claims 75 to 90 percent of  all visits to primary care physicians   result  from stress related disorder. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8#q=dr.+paul+rosch+stress

During stress it’s our bodies want to conserve energy in order to          better flee the fight. Stress hormones not only release fats, sugar and  insulin  into the bloodstream.  So we have the energy  to  flee or  fight,          but also, store  fat  and tell the body to eat more  and stressful events.    While making matters worse,  cortisol directs the body to store  fat in           the belly ~ close to the heart.

To much cortisol has also been shown to inhibit the growth of  new          cells in the part of  the brain that controls  fear,  heightened emotions        and forms new memories.  Therefore,  when  your overly stressed you become easily  fearful and  forgetful. When stress becomes chronic it’s      this  feedback loop  that’s supposed to make the brain tell the adrenals          to stop pumping out cortisol.  While  becoming  faulty  and  just  keeps pumping away….  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3R9mD-iJZIg

Acclaimed author  and researcher Dr.  Ernest Rossi  having  taught therapists  for decades about how our brains change with each activity performed. Believes just as negativity,  worry  and  fear,  can cause our bodies to produce stress chemicals and eventually disease.  So can also  positive psychological experiences… bring on brain structure and cells      that  can  lead  to  heightened problem solving  and emotional healing!   dr+ernest+rossi+how+your+body+changes+to+negativity+videos                  The-Psychobiology-Mind-Body-Healing-Therapeutic/dp/

Psychologist  find  elevated  levels  of   C – Reactive  Protein  in  people        who  “can’t”   and   “won’t”   let  go  of  negative  energy  while  rethinking   new  feelings.  Therefore,  try to recall  when you think negative thoughts versus  positive emotions  and  how  much  differently your body also  felt.  Renowned psychologist Martin Seligman at the National Cancer Institute    is  one  of  originators  of  the  concept  of    “learned  helplessness” how+the+body+reacts+to+negative+emotion+dr+ernest+rossi

With  his   focus  and  writings,  Seligman   found  that  cancer  patients with optimism,  a sense of  humor  and with enthusiasm has a significantly greater survival rate  than those less  positive about their outcome.  Humor  is essential for mitigating stress as shown by Dr. Norman Cousins. Studies have  shown  laughing increases heart rate,  stimulates the cardiovascular, circulatory,  immune  and the endocrine systems,  while reducing pain and hormonal stress levels. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqLAcpXzNks

General George S. Patton thought, You measure a man’s success by not how high           they climb,  but by high they bounce (back) when they hit the rock bottom of times.

If  you  find yourself ruminating on a past mistake that’s wrecking your life  —  you  can not  move  forward  —  forward  movement  propels  positive energy.  Positive energy  helps  you get out  and  exercise  more  freely while breathing deeper, reducing depression, anxiety, stress, high blood pressure, diabetes,   inflammation,  heart  problems  while  making  you  less  likely  to have  sleep  deprivation  and the  effects  that  has  on  your  mind  and  body. metacafe.com/watch/science_of_sleep_part_1_season_40_episode_38

Thereby,  when you gain proper oxygen,  both sides  of  your  brain  can work together to perform many  functions more efficiently.  The left side is associated with logical and analytical thinking, as well as the ability to be more objective.  The  right  side of  the  brain  is  associated  with  intuition, creativity and the tendency to be more subjective. Therefore,  any one that practices Yoga masters an awareness of their breathe through the exercise called pranayama.  search  query =  pranayama breathing techniques

Pranayama techniques help you control, lengthen and strengthen your inhalation, exhalation, and breath retention.  “Prana”  means  “Life Force” and  the definition  of  “prananyama.”   is control and expansion of  energy. Many studies have been shown that yoga breathing controls heart rhythm, lowers stress hormone and hypertension levels and decrease psychological disorders.

Also unless you are exercising or faced with an emergency, try breathing through your nostrils  as much as possible.  Mouth  breathing  gives  us  too large a quantity of  air which can lead to hyperventilation and an overload of  carbon dioxide. Which causes blood vessels  to constrict  and starves our cells  of  oxygen,  while the hairs  in the nostrils traps allergens,  pollutants and dust to protect our lungs.

Nose breathing also humidifies air and orchestrates the proper balance    of  oxygen  and carbon dioxide  in our blood stream.  While  deep  breathing  encourages the parasympathetic nervous system to move you into a mellow mood  and  soothes  the  mind  and  body  from  any anxiety  and  depression (a.k.a.   what  you  feel  like  after  exercise.)

Hypoxia is defined as a decrease in available oxygen reaching the cells    and tissues of  the body. Being linked to the pathology of cancer and it has been  found  tumors  grow  more  rapidly  in  a  low – oxygen  environment. Moderate exercise  is always advisable  and beneficial  to preserving good health and one should always take time away  from their busy schedule &  Direct Tv to get 20 minutes everyday.  https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=navclient&ie=hypoxia+and+cancer+progression+video
