0ne Kauai Woman’s Journey

How one Kauai woman’s journey through breast cancer made her stronger than ever | KHON2

🐴 The Horse Tribe is speaking. Are you listening?
By Tara Coyote

When I stepped back into the horse world over 10 years ago, I had a strong awareness
that the horses are stepping up with universal consciousness to help advance humanity.
We humans are desperately needing to listen in this time of collective chaos. 🐎
I was extremely fortunate to spend time with my teacher Linda Kohanov recently
and do a horse workshop with her. The experience was deeply healing & magnified
this awareness about the horses.
While with the horses, they granted me a vision.
They implanted a picture in my mind of the universal consciousness of The Horse Tribe.
They showed me that they think and operate as one being, within their own horse herd, but this also radiates out to the collective consciousness of ALL horses.

As a side note, this is very similar to how bees are. 🐝
These benevolent beings operate for the common good of their own tribe, herd or hive. Whereas we humans tend to be more individually based. We have much to learn from these magnificent beings!
The horses showed me a picture of my human friends and I with their horse herd, about
12 of us were joined together. They showed me how they were united in awareness with all the other horses on Linda’s property. They all knew, understood and communicated with the others what they were experiencing. This awareness also radiated out to the horses in the larger area in southern Arizona. 🌀
This connects to the greater whole of Horse Consciousness throughout the globe.
The horses know what is happening in a greater spectrum throughout all of humanity and the Earth. In this time of human cacophony, climate change, social unrest & imbalance, we would benefit greatly from hearing the peaceful message of the horse!
We are not here to dominate them or to push them into submission.

We are here to listen & learn from them.
Please take the time to tune in & hear this sacred message.
There is so much in our human potential that we can tap into that is lying dormant, waiting to wake up. Those of you who are blessed to know the love of the horse,
please help to spread this message. It is time. Listen deeply! 🐴✨🐴

I keep coming back when facing challenging times.
This is exactly the nugget of truth:
Don’t waste a moment!
Life is short. Live it ✨⚜️✨

I am on the tail end of a few days of being knocked out from hormone blocking shots (Faslodex) that I receive monthly. These treatments leave me glued to my bed or sofa for days. This particular cycle was harder than the rest, as I just returned back from a long trip & was fairly exhausted.
Every-time I start getting my energy back post shots, I remember HOW DAMN AMAZING it is to do simple tasks like walk the dog, feed the horses, scoop manure, go food shopping & basically anything that requires being upright and not in a prone position!

I appreciate feeling good, which is my normal, blessed state of being.
I appreciate not being in bone breaking, aching pain.
I remember that not that long ago (4 years ago), my bones were
in constant pain with widespread cancer metastasis throughout them.
I could not drive over a bump in the road without wincing in extreme pain.
I was walking with a cane as my left hip was breaking! 😳

This perspective helps me appreciate life.
This line of Mary Oliver’s poem from ‘The Summer Day’, ‘Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one short & precious life’ has been pivotal for me since I heard it ten years ago.
I even was motivated to jump through massive copyright hoops to legally include it in my book ‘Grace, Grit & Gratitude’ 📕
This line is everything to me.

The truth is: You are not a victim.
Every moment is a choice, what you choose to do with it.
This assumption that you have a long life to live might not necessarily be true.
I assumed that too, but when my best friends started being diagnosed with cancer.
(Then, tragically dying young), then I was diagnosed with cancer, I knew longevity
was NOT guaranteed‼️

The only thing that is real is THIS MOMENT And I reflect back to you:
Tell me, what are you choosing to do with this one short & precious moment? 🤍

3/23/2023 Today was the one year anniversary of my father’s death. I woke up with trepidation, thinking it would be a heavy day, BUT I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO WALLOW IN THIS THOUGHT REALITY, as there were 30 FRICKING COWS on my property!

I made a humorous little video about the funny ‘dad visitation,’ reminding me to
keep it light, laugh and find joy. My Hilarious Scientist Father 🐮✨🦎 – YouTube 🙂
If you knew my dad, he was constantly cracking jokes, being goofy, while being totally immersed in the natural world. Ken’s Note: My father’s spirit looks over my blogging
HOW PERFECT HE WOULD SHOW UP LIKE THIS! 😂
You can watch me herding 30 cows in this video… My Hilarious Scientist Father. COWABUNGA! 🐄 Btw, I did end up stepping in cow shit! 🤣

🎉 The audiobook version of my book ‘Grace, Grit & Gratitude:
A Cancer Thriver’s Journey from Hospice to Full Recovery with
the Healing Power of Horses’ is SOON TO BE RELEASED ‼️
This is a HUGE MOMENTOUS feat‼️ I poured literally HUNDREDS of hours into its creation as I boldly attempted to record & edit it myself. I learned I needed some help
to actually finish editing it, thus generous David DeVine took on the gargantuan task.
Thank you, David! ✨🙏🏽✨

It’s taken 15 months from start to finish to birth my book baby
& I’m positively elated that it’s almost finished🌟 Stay tuned‼️
It will be on Audible, iTunes and Amazon!
Tuesday, March 28 is the release date 🌟

Love Heals Documentary – Search (bing.com)

Such a wonderful pleasure to be with the ‘Love Heals’
Director, Producer (and caste 😊).

This powerful documentary follows the journey of Dana, a chronic pain sufferer in
search of healing, with her partner, Krisanna as the film-maker. Set in beautiful Sedona,
they’re on a quest to understand the significant role of how science, energy, spirituality
and emotion, really do impact human health and our ability to heal.

What a humbling experience and true honour to be in the presence Facebook of these inspirational filmmakers Dana Croschere and Krisanna Sexton from Rescued Hearts Film who are working on a heart-felt documentary about the healing nature of the horse-human relationship.

It was such an honor to be filmed for this incredible documentary and to share my personal story of healing from complex trauma through my connections with horses and
to share a bit about the equine-guided work we do to support vulnerable people through Sheez Like the Wind Equine Experiences.
Please support this amazing documentary to be completed by the end of this year, to create awareness about alternative ways of healing and in particular the profound positive impact that horses can have in the lives of humans.
It was so wonderful to also meet Carolyn Collins-Holmes and Tash Holmes, reaffirming that a sacred sisterhood in the presence of horses is sometimes all the healing we need.
